he is a very good professor! of course that the subject is dificult because is a 4 credit class, but he makes sure that students learn the material.. you must do your work and you most come to class,, no homework at all,,just test.

Very knowledgeable of his subject (has doctrine degree). Tests are really difficult for a one hundred level class. If you like a challenge & are in the medical field I believe he would be your type. I am a bus. major & learned a lot in his class, but tests were difficult causing me to stress for a class that had nothing to do w/ my major.

One of my greatest prof. His test is a little challenge, but if you concentrate on what he said in class, and read the book, you will be fine definitely. Also, he is fun and really concern about student's opinion. I like him, and hope i can see him in another class.

I LOVE THIS PROFESSOR. If you want an easy A don't take him..but if you're willing to work and want to learn TAKE HIM! He really wants his students to learn and he doesn't like slouches..Show him you're serious, ask question, read, and study!!! Good Luck...You can get an A

Very good professor but by no means easy. Professor will help if you ask. His pronunciation of some words gets a bit confusing but as long as you pay attention and do all the reading you stand a fighting chance. BE ON TIME attendence is a big issue with him. If taken seriously he will definitely have you completely prepared for A & P II

BEST TEACHER I HAVE EVER MET! HE REALLY HELPS STUDENTS TO UNDERSTAND DIFFICULT STUFF, HE ALSO OFFERS EXTRA CREDIT, GIVES YOU PLENTY OF TIME TO STUDY FOR TESTS. A&P1 IS A HARD CLASS BUT HE MAKES IT FUN AND CLEAR. TAKING A&P2 WITH HIM AGAIN.

Great Professor!! A lot of studying but you will know your material when you get out. Wish I would have took A&P 1 with him. :)

BEST PROFESSOR AT HUDSON! Possibly the best professor ever. Be ready to work though, if you take his class you WILL learn A&P, and you will learn it well. I wish I could take him with me when I leave Hudson!

Lets keep this simple - Dr. Joasil is about his business - Pay attention in class, read the chapters (from book) at home answer the questions in the chapters (guaranteed A), listen in class and study thepowerpoint will only get you a C, the tests are from the book (60%) the info given in class is 10%, the book will guide you, KEEP CELL OFF!good guy

He's a really nice,interesting, funny professor. His teaching methods are alright. Tests are quite difficult. Goes over powerpoints during class time but to get a good grade you SHOULD read the book. Some things he wouldnt go over in class but were on the test.He does random questions thruout class that u get extra credit for if u answer correctly!

If your an easy A student you he's not a professor for you. However, If you want to learn, take him and you will never regret it. He's the BEST PROFESSOR in hccc.

Interesting professor, knowlegable on topics. I suggest you not take his class in Summer. A lot of reading and homework. Test are long but covered the topics. you cant makeup test.

Take this professor if you aren't afraid to do the work and want to learn. Expect lots of homework and online quizzes. You HAVE to read the book. You HAVE to study. You HAVE to do the work or you will not make it. GREAT PROFESSOR. He's entertaining and has a great sense of humor. He will recognize your hard work. I took him for Anatomy 1 & 2.

Tests are a little toughtricky so you must read. Professor is very passionate about subject. YOU HAVE TO READ in order to pass.

Prof. Joasil is an amazing professor! You will never get bored in his class. His lectures are interesting and easy to understand. If you pay attention in his class, it will make your studying a lot less of a burden since he makes it so clear and easy to remember in class. He lets you out early most of the time. Warning! Prof. Joasil is a strict but hilarious and amazing teacher. He finds ways to help us remember things (Anatomy and Physiology involves ALOT of memorization) and he truly wants us to pass. As long as you do your homework, read alot, and study hard, you will not only pass, but you will KNOW your anatomy and physiology.

Great! Took intensive summer course A&PI and it was tough but super enjoable cause the lectures are interesting, you need to take quizzes and prepare lab reviews and read the book too. He really makes you to study. He is very orginized and always gives you a chance to correct the grade. Love him! The best professor for those who wants to learn.

Anatomy & Physiology is difficult no matter where you go. Dr. Joasil makes it easy to understand and it's up to you to study hard and memorize. There's no going around it. If you want to learn, if you want to get good quality education then choose Dr. Joasil. I got a B and I'm happy because I know I worked hard for it. If you're lazy, you'll fail.

First day of class I thought he would be a tough professor as it was an 8am-1:45pm class. He gives extra credit work throughout the semester so it would help boost your grade. He gives quizzes about every week after you finish one chapter which helps you with the exams that are given throughout the semester. Would definitely take him again! HELPFUL

The Professor was very detailed and made his expectations very clear. He gave many opportunities to do extra credit work and also gave guidelines on how to study that material.

Prof. Joasil is very tough, but you will learn. His test are difficult so make sure you are reading the material before and after his class. I must say he is fair and I enjoyed taking his class. If you are looking to just show up and skate by, he is not the professor to do this with. You will fail. He's really funny and there will be pop quizzes.

Professor Joasil is tough but if very fair. he will set out for you what you need to do in a timely fasten. If your looking for an Easy A, you wont find it here. He does work with you if he sees you working for it. Ppl complain bout is power points but he uses other techniques to get you motivated in the material. You need effort for his class.

Explains the material very well. Teaches you at your own pace and goes back if you don't understand the topic. He knows the material, always goes prepared to class, and is easy to understand. His class was very interesting and active.

He is passionate in the subject matter! He dumbs the material down, so we understand it. Always asks if we understood what was taught after each lecture.... extremely fair grader! Easy A if you work hard and put in the time! Im taking him again for MicroBiology!

He gives Extra Credit, will drop your LOWEST quiz score. He doesn't give reviewer for the exams. You have to study very hard and make sure to read the whole chapter for the quizzes. Do not rely on his slides during exam or quiz. READ THE BOOK. During exam read his questions very carefully, bec. he try to twist the words that will make you confuse.

NO extra credit- he does drop lowest quiz. He checks homework but it's scored out of 3 and you don't get the grade back (didn't turn it in, halfassed, did well enough). He's a tough but entertaining prof. you absolutely need to keep up with the reading & ask what's going to be on the quizzes/ tests. (PS quizzes count for way too much-STUDY HARD!)

His lectures are simplified but thorough for every student to understand and you will definitely LEARN. If you take his hybrid course be prepared to study. He is immensely passionate and expects you to do your part as a student and work for the grade. Very funny and sarcastic, so learn how to handle his sense of humor. Best professor yet.

If you want to truly learn, this professor is for you. If you are looking to slack and get an easy A, this is not the professor for you. I went to class, did my homework and did well on his quizzes and got a good grade and learned a lot. He teaches in a way that really makes it stick. Loved taking his class and i learned so much.

Took BIO 101 and was very good at teaching the material. He does give a lot of work but its all to prepare you for his exams. Make sure to study all materials and make flashcards for his exams. Also really recommend to make group studies it really help a lot of us in class. He is also available for any questions after class.

The man is amazing. Super brilliant.

Took his hybrid Micro. Lots of homework - lab reports, discussions. Lots of quizzes. Midterm and final were super hard. He makes students to read out loud. Really tough. Although he's a nice guy. Always ready to help outside the class. He makes students work hard so they know the subject.

Dr. Joasil was very straightforward. He tells you his expectations and does not deviate from them, so there are never any surprises. I recommend taking him for Summer courses as the time flies by. Not sure I could take 4 months of him.

Great sense of humor and very disciplined. He expects discipline and hardwork from his students. I enjoy some sense of humor in every class. His class is one of the most difficult i have ever taken but this is to enhance my knowledge and understand the material. Prepare to take weekly tests. If you really want to learn, this is your guy.
