Even thought in some assignments she was abit unclear her class was an awesome learning experience and very simple, if you pay attention. She has power point presentations of the chapters, which are really helpful and offers alot of extra credit, field trips and class speakers. :o) Always opens the door for class discussion on current issues.

Great professor! As a UC graduate, her class is comparable to a UC course, perhaps even more rigorous since it is a 18 week course vs. a 10 week one. Her class really makes you think about the sociological interactions around you. I took the class online & she responds rapidly to emails & discussion topics. Great class & wonderful prof!!

Very well taught class, very informative, professor was strict with attendance and time but not mean about it. Extra credit given throughout the semester, enough chance to improve grade. Not too east, but not extremely hard. Learned a lot from the class.

The professor was a lot more interesting than the subject. She was my motivation to come to class. I enjoyed her lectures very much and her care for her students to succeed was very appreciated.

This class is very intriguing to me. Dr. Stamenkovic expresses views that generates interest in the class. Open discussion is welcomed and appreciated. Attendance and Punctuality are some of the keys to success in this class, as well as class participation. This course comes highly recommended, and guys are encouraged to register for the class.

She is a GREAT teacher! She is enthusiastic, fun, she makes the class entertaining. I learned a lot from the class, she taught very well. She's definitely a teacher that i would recommend. Even when she was going through a grieving process i didn't fell as if the class was lacking at all. She's a superb teacher, you'll enjoy her class - i did!

I took her summer of 06, online. I wanted nothing to do with sociology, ended up liking the course alot. She was very helpful online, interacted with students and overall great class. I learned a lot, she is very good teacher, at least online, I'm not sure about the classroom setting. I would recommend.

I've taken her for two online classes since I've been in college. The questions on exams come right from the book. You can potentially get some extra credit if you respond to one more student than you are supposed to on the discussion boards.

Great teacher. Took her online. Very helpful when you ask for direction. Offers a decent amount of extra credit. Tests are timed, but not hard as they are straight from the book. She is very passionate about her field and that comes through even in the online class.

Loved this teacher! Had her online class and she used blackboard very well and had a ton of info up to answer any questions. She was a little broad with the DB questions so you kind of have to teach yourself what she is expecting in your answers. You do need to have a little self direction but it IS an online class! I recommend her!

If you have any questions or concerns, she normally responds back quickly.

The teacher is very informative and interactive with the students. Great communication. Provides various interesting assignments and readings. Tests can be a bit of a challenge if one doesn't study prior to the test. Enjoyable class otherwise.

Bio 134 online 8 week course: it was very fast paced class. You have to be on tip of your assignments. Test over all were pretty difficult. You must know material, but over all a great class. Just stay on top of assignments and announcements

Good class, the only difficult part were the test. Some questions were hard to understand but I think that is a part of taking an online course vs. an in-class course. I did get a chance to meet the professor at school and she was very friendly!

Explains everything up front. Responds in timely manner. Offers extra credit. Tests are over numerous chapters but split up to help. I was nervous on the bad comments on here. She was great. Taking a 3 unit class online in 8 weeks isn't easy. If you do the work-like any other class, you will do fine.

If you're looking for a professor that's ready to help supplement your learning, Dr. S is your person! This was my first online class and I couldn't believe how cool and easy the whole learning process was.

I took Dr.S's SOC 101 class on-line and it was pretty easy. I liked that it was very structured. The topics and DB's were interesting and she gives plenty of extra credit opportunities.

Whether you like Biology or not she will help you enjoy it and make the most of your experience in this class. If you don't read the book you wont do good on the tests. A lot of reading but if you read you will pass guaranteed. Discussion boards are easy and interesting. A few papers but also very easy. Quick response time and Very Helpful.

Dr.S is great. The course does have a lot of work, one chapter/test/DB a week, but if you keep on it, it's fine. She gives extra credit oppurtunities and about 2-3 papers. Final is 100 T/F questions but if you read the material you will do fine. She is very organized and gives great notes on chapters, read them before you read the chap, it helps.

She is very upfront about the assignments and gives a VERY detailed syllabus. The work for every week consists of reading the chapter, DB post with two responses, and a test. There is one essay due and she let's you decide which topic you want to write about. There is also another project that is broken up into smaller assignments and totally easy!

This class is fairly easy. There is a quiztest for each chapter but they are online and you can take them each twice. You NEED the book, all the test questions come directly from it. Luckily she uses and older version the the textbook and you can find if for less than $10 online.

I really enjoyed having Dr.S as my professor. She was very detailed in her assignment requirements and the tests weren't too difficult. Dr.S gave so many opportunities throughout the semester for us to pass the class. I loved how she always challenged us throughout the semester.

this teacher was very helpful. all of the test were on line and it was very nice to take my test on my own time.

Very involved with the lecture. she would give us stories from her life that could be applied to the lectures. very understanding and fair when it came to turning in work. don't skip class that's very important. highly recommend her class.

This class was incredibly fun! I expected it to be a lot of studying and that's it, but it turned out to be much more than that. She had provided many events from her life that applied to concepts within the class which helped to further understand the material. I learned a lot from Dr. Stamenkovic, and I would gladly take another one of courses.

Stamenkovic was a great online professor, she made the class easy and interesting. The only thing is that she prefers to have people communicate on discussion boards if they have questions. Pay attention to her class requirements. However, she is pretty easy going and will help you in anyway she can. Refreshing and relaxing class to take.

I took this course as a fast track course over the summer. It was a lot of work in a little amount of time. I managed to get a B even after almost failing the final. And probably would have done better if I would have took her class in a full term semester. It's a very interesting class but be prepared to work.

Competent and knowledgeable Professor. The class site structure was transparent and intuitive which helped a lot with finding assignments and answers. I very liked the detailed explanation when and how each assignment had to be executed. I really liked the promptness of responses on questions I had.

I took her Sociology 101 online class a few years ago and thought she was a good teacher. We had weekly readings, a PowerPoint lecture, and a discussion board every week. The tests were easy if you read the book and had a general idea where to look for help (open book). I don't remember her being unorganized, sorry.

This class would be considered easy if the lessons on the canvas were clear. Thats where I spent most of my time, trying to figure out what I was supposed to do. On the tests, there is not a lot of time and therefore stressful. Not too many posts and lots extra credit. For a hybrid online class, I found the work was not extensive.

She was an excellent professor. Discussion boards, tests, and quizzes. DBs are easy topics. Tests/quizzes are a little hard but use the slides and material from the lessons and it will help a lot. She responds quickly and cares about her students and feedback. Lots of extra credit. If you put it in some effort you will definitely pass.

Even though the pandemic caused classes to go remote Dr. S made it easy to keep up with work and keep on track. I personally am not a online learner but the course was designed to help a student pass.

Dr. S made Sociology easy to understand and had a very clear syllabus of exactly what assignments are due. He gives many options for extra credit opportunities. Discussion based assignments, 1 small & easy project, few quizzes that are easy,you are able to submit assignments before they are due, and not a harsh grader. Wants his student to pass!

This was an accelerated 8 week course so there was a lot of reading in a short amount of time. Professor Stamenovic had almost all of the modules posted so you were able to work ahead. I learned a lot in this class. Time management is important. She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities as well.

This classwork is totally manageable and easy to get into a routine with and the professor is kind and chill. I'd highly recommend the course if you're interested in the subject or need some credits in sociology.

Prof. Stamenkovic is overall a good teacher. The course is easy enough but is very reading-intensive. She has a ton of ways to gain extra credit, so making an A in this course should not be hard. Just be aware that the questions and assignments are sometimes confusing or hard to understand. Ask the teacher to clarify if that happens!

The course is super manageable and the professor is kind. Definitely recommend it if you're interested in sociology or need credits. Unstuck study was a lifesaver for reviewing and practicing.

only thing i really disliked about her was that her grading was very terrible on canvas. she said that we shouldn't look at the canvas grade cuz it was wrong and that we'd only need a 625/700 to get an A in the class but it showed that I had a 71% in her class for the whole year. i just think that its a little annoying
