Veronique made english fun. She doesn't like "fluff" when you are writing papers for her class. Overall she is a good teacher.....

A very fun and heart filled class. Lots of laughs, and sometimes tears. Many open discussions, not to mention ABFONSY!

Veronique's class is entertaining. She'll make you work with grammar, but it's fun. The class discussions are great, but if you want a change in tone, try distracting her with a Dave Mathews sighting. Works! ABFONSY People! ABFONSY! Sweet! oh yeah, She's got a cute smile too.

Excellent class with a very different flair. I thought I wouldn't enjoy it at first, but there is something very special about Veronique and her ability to communicate what she is teaching. She is not easy, but you will feel like you've accomplished something by the time you're finished.

Great class. She knows her stuff, and she'll make you think.

Nice girl. Wish more were local teachers like Veronique. She is brilliant, nice, and lovely all at once.

Dave Mathews - right on! Chop, chop! Love this teacher! She pushes the students to do their best, and at the same time makes you feel like you can actually accomplish it. Would take her again if I could.

ahhhh this teacher is amazing!! veronique is such a funny person. i learned so much in this class so far. i would take her again if i had the chance. i grew into a really good writer because of her. she is truely one of the best english teachers i have ever had.. HIGHLY RECOMMED!!

Veronique is the best English teacher I've ever had. If you are in class, she will help you and listen to you. She loves her job and is very passionate when she teaches. BTW--she doesn't drink coffee. She gets our papers back on time and she grades fair; if you are scared of English take her class!!!

Veronique is a great instructor. She knows her stuff! I found her in office hours frequently. She allows rewrites, and makes it so you want come to class. Also, you can always ask her for help. Thanks Veronique! I like writing now. Oh yeah, she LOVES Dave Matthews, and She is VERY nice to look at. !!!

I loved this class. I will miss it and Veronique. She has a cool teaching style, it helped me understand Pathos and Logos. She is not an easy grader, but she will explain what you need to do to fix your papers. She makes the class fun. I feel so much better about writing. Highly reccomend her!

I love her! She is one of a kind thats for sure. If you are a "jerk" dont take her class. She made the class a lot of fun, and I learnd something.

I LOVED being in her class. She was so much fun. I learned a lot from her. She can be a bit disorganized and hard to get a hold of during her office hours, but she WILL make time for her students. She is helpful and she encouraged all of us to be better writers. If you have a negative attitude you shouldn't take her class because she's very upbeat.

This was a great light hearted class. You enter an assignment feeling confident, that if you have trouble you will be helped, and you will be able to pass the class.Veronique is pleasant, encouraging, and the kindest instructor I've had the pleasure to meet. I hope she continues teaching, so my children will have a chance to learn with her..THANX

She doesnt explain assignments well but if your stuck you can talk to her & she is helpful. She is always late to class & talks about her life but that didn't bother me. She teaches alot of grammar & makes you write alot. You really don't need to buy the book for this class. She lets you rewrite papers if you get lower than an A :)

Veronique was my instructor for both Eng 101 and 102. She requires a lot of writing, but that's what English classes are all about. I never knew I liked Shakespeare until I took her class. The comma splice is out, and ABFONSY is in!

She was very fun and energetic, she made Eng. fun. She is funny and she doesn use profanity, but hey i'd rather hear "shit" than see a teacher with piercings and tattoo everywhere, go to UNM and every teacher will be "unprofessional" as people descibe it here. It's not elementary anymore people, it's college. I learned what i needed to, & loved her

I love her. She is fun & talks to you like equals(We had a convo or 2 bout curly hair)she pounds grammar into your head but it has helped me in other classes. She assigns A LOT of writing! the hardest part is was getting started. She lets you make corrections. You have to be agressive for help but once you get a hold of her she is really helpful.

She is the best teacher I ever encountered. She is fun yet expects the best from her students. Her teaching methods draw the best out of her students.

Veronique was a great teacher. I am in a higher writing course now and I plan to go to her for advice instead of my actual teacher just because she is so approachable. I definitely recommend taking her class, especially if you have no interest in writing. Shes the best motivator!

She does take a little long to return papers, but she does a great job of outlining what she would like to see in your papers. She is very personable and treats everyone as an equal. When it comes to the assignments, she really knows her stuff. Loves good thesis statements and make sure you polish up on your commas. She is awesome! Enough Said!

This professor has the most unique and exquisite style of teaching. SHE IS FANTASTIC, TERRIFIC. She has four essays, uses a rubric, allows rewrites. She is organized; in fact she allows two student confernces during the term. Her teaching style is personable and informs from the first day she is a "story teller. I learned a lot. ABFonsy rocks!

She is one of my all time favorite professors! She keeps things fun and interesting and encourages students to ask questions and participate in class. Absolutely love her class!

She is fantastic! There's never a boring lecture. Veronique will do whatever she can to help you,as long as you ask. She allows rewrites to bring your grade up. Final paper is given wayyyy in advance! Awesome instructor!

Very pretty, very nice, very fun to work with, and pretty smart-- though she has a few silly rules. Definitely a good choice if you like to make friends with your profs.

I am soo happy I took Veronique! The best english teacher I have ever had! I've been reccomending her to everyone. She drills grammar into your head & requires a lot of writting but she will help you if your stuck and allows rewrites. Some people complained about her talking about her personal life too much but it didnt bother me at all.

I love Ms. K, she is an awsome instuctor. You will learn alot in this class nd if your not good at english talk to her and she'll get you through it. lectures are always interesting, and she le you do re writes on papers. Take her class youll leard get a great grade with fun.

Vernoique is AWESOME!! I took her 1101 and 1102 class and improved my writing because of her. she is an inspired me to be a better writer and I did just that. She did use the book for a few class assignments, but you should be able to get away with not buying it. Anyone who rated her bad did so because they didn't do well in the class.Love you Vero

Also took her for ENG 1102 and ENG 2270. She was awesome in all the classes I took her with. She's really helpful and nice. She makes class fun.

She has a very unique, and exquisite style of teaching. She gives out a homework assignment every class, and four essays per semester, with help of a rubric. she allows 1 rewrite per essay. Her only flaws are that she is a story teller, and is madly in love with Dave Matthew, so he might need to come se her one of this days lol.

I loved taking English with Ms. K! I took both 1101 & 1102 with her and learned quite a bit! She's not a linear thinker though, but she does make it to her point in class. She is very helpful and very fair on assignments and grading. Be warned: you will hear about Dave Matthews quite a bit!

A great experience and an educational journey i'm glad to have had. Her class is lighthearted yet comprehensive. Her teaching style is thorough and supportive. Her love of literature is contagious and her dedication to teaching inspires you to become a better writer.

She is absolutely AMAZING! She has a great sense of humor that keeps students entertained. She loves to hear different interpretations, and opinions. Not to mention that she is super helpful! I keep hoping she teaches higher level English one day.

She's always willing to help and respond to emails. There was homework every class (not usually long but still), and you'll get a B on a paper for missing two commas and using a filler word, even if she compliments you on its content and structure. Cares about her students & is bubbly. Might not take her again just because of the amount of writing.

Miss.K is the absolute best professor I've had! She is amazing,helpful,and funny. She is passionate about teaching. She's laid back,and easy to talk to. I highly recommend taking her class.

Ms. V is an amazing teacher, she ensures that each student understands what is going on in class, and if you don't understand, ask her for help she is more than willing to do so. After she grades your paper she will have a conference with you to discuss what you did well and where you still need improvement. She is amazing, you won't regret it!

I learned a lot in her class. Her conferences after each paper were extremely helpful. It was a fun class.

Best Professor I've had!

Professor Kaemerer was an amazing professor! She is so lively and cares abour her students. I took her in the Spring of 2016 for English 1119 and would definitely recommend her to other students!

Best instructor all around. And cares about the students. Will help you in every way possible. Gives constant feedback. If you fail her class you are not doing your part.

Ms. Veronique, knows her subject, and is passionate about teaching her students, and teaching them well. The down to earth, respectful way she managed to share her knowledge, provided an excellent foundation on which to base the remainder of my classes. College requires writing, Ms. Veronique will teach one how to write well.

I am currently taking this course online, and I love her! She gives great feedback on thesis statements, as well as essays. Both books needed for this class have helped me better perfect my writing. I also enjoy the stories that are assigned. I highly recommend this class for an online course!

I am taking her class. She gives lots of feedback. You can even call or text her if you have a question. The readings are great. If you feel stuck, she is a question away. I don't know what those others were complaining about. She has been incredibly helpful. If you do the work, you will learn and pass the class. Her feedback is awesome!

Great class. 4 essays.. All mostly 3 pages long. Second one 2 pages. 8 or 9 discussions. Gives great feedback. The readings are good. Poe! If yoy want to learn ,take her class. If you want a free ride go elsewhere. She's the first instructor I've had who you can calll or text any time.

I would definitely recommend this instructor. She is fair, considerate, knowledgeable and helpful. She does tend to take a while on grading papers sometimes, but I didn't mind because she is considerate and will extend the due date for the following assignment until she has graded the previous one. She is also very generous with extra credit.

She was absolutely AMAZING. So caring and willing to work with you, I've never met a more caring or awesome teacher!! I highly recommend She deserves endless praise! As long as your willing to actually put in thought and effort this is the class for you.

Mrs. K was one of the best instructors I have had the pleasure of taking class with. She is very caring and will help you every time you ask for it and grades according to your work and will always give you a chance to make it better. She is an amazing human and it was an honor to take her class. 10/10.

Mrs. K is a great instructor. She is very kind, and is always a call or text away. Assignments were not difficult at all. I was able to complete weekly assignments within 1-2 hours. Readings are not too long, and essays are about 2-3 pages at the most. Assignments were clear and easy to understand. One con: grading takes awhile.

She is the cutest , she did her own youtube vids to help with lectures and they were helpful. You have to do the work in this class! One thing i didnt like is she has other students review your essays who are learning like you. Even though she does this she is not a tough grader she sees that you are trying and takes it into consideration.

Had an amazing time taking this class! Veronique is a really kind teacher who's absolutely willing to work with you if you have any difficulties with the material or doing the assignments. She makes learning grammar rules accessible, and gives you multiple attempts to go back and adjust papers to better improve your writing. definitely suggest.

She's one of the sweetest teachers I've had. She's hardworking and truly wants her students to pass. However, she's inconsistent and very non-linear in her lectures. I recommend her If you can deal with her negatives.

She supplies a copy of everything you have to read, even a link to the textbook so you don't really need to get it, I used it twice. There are 4 papers to write in total, they gradually get harder but she is understanding and as long as you try she grade accordingly. You have an opportunity at the end of class to correct the majority of your work.

Ms. Kaemerer responds to questions via text messaging very quickly, and encourages her class to reach out to her with any questions any time of the day. Helpful PowerPoints and YouTube videos are provided for lessons. Discussion board participation is required. Peer reviews are encouraged for extra credit. Very funny and caring instructor.

Great Professor! Was always available when I had any questions or concerns, and responds quickly (Which can be rare with online classes). She was always clear about our weekly assignments. We had discussion boards every week, and she got our grades back fairly quick. As long as you do all your assignments, you're sure to do great in this class.

Professor Kaemerer really cares about her students, and if you have any problems just reach out to her she will get back to you quickly (the longest I waited for a response was around forty five minutes) her grading is kind of tough so I recommend triple checking essays before you turn them in, but she gives some extra credit to make up for it.

Shes a really sweet lady and made the class feel very welcoming and often talks about how were all accepted no matter race or orientation. Papers werent required to be too long or on any boring topics the only part i didnt really like was having peers review essay rough drafts wasnt helpful for me personally.

Ms K is a terrific teacher. Really funny and cares about students.

She was good, a little quirky, gave good feedback on all of my papers which all were A's. She lets you re-do your papers at the end of the semester for more credit. I would take it again.

This professor is really great. She also gives tons of opportunities for extra credit. It is an English class so get ready to write but she breaks down the steps and gives you all the material you need to succeed.

Gives students the option to text her after hours if they need help. The assignments for the online course were made of long multi-part discussion posts and a few essays. The material covered by modules is helpful, pertinent for the week, and well-organized. She made materials easy to relocate for further reference.

This was a great class. I would highly recommend Prof. Kaemerer to anyone taking English. She was incredibly encouraging and shared her phone number with us for questions. Although the class was online, there were a lot of good student discussions.There are also several opportunities for extra credit if needed. I wish I could take this class again!

I love that she actually taught rather than punished for not knowing things. She was always understandng and really changed my opinion on my own teaching philosophy. Totally worth taking her clas
