She is very helpful. I have always struggled with Math and I got a high B. her accent is hard to get over at first but she is extremely helpful. She does alot of repetition in class so homework is easy and you learn something. Highly recommended.

Accent takes a bit to get used to, and the handouts are many, but she's always willing to go far out of her way to help you both in and out of class. If you take advantage of that (and know the subject), you should be fine.

She oversimplifies everything. Her class is really boring if you aren't an idiot. Maybe it's just the LA math #1, but GOD!!! Anyway her accent isn't hard to understand, but her teaching method is.

If you need all the help you can get in math this is the teacher for you, she sets up the class online also, so be prepared to for a double load. She is very redundent, so you will not miss much. But really tries her best to help each student on a personal basis. The most obligated to her students.

So far great teacher. I never had an A before from the Mat., this semester I have strait A. Very helpful teacher. You have to come at the class and have to be quiet. There is always homework. Who ever wants to learn needs to take this teacher. She also set web-site to help you with the problems. I wish to have her class again.

She is very detailed and spends alot of time putting everything on the board, even in different colors to draw your attention to the specifics. Her English is great and she was good at returning emails. I would recommend her highly.

i took an online college algebra .I am good in math, so online class was just for me. She is very helpful, answers all the questions via email. You can come to see her during her hours on campus but I never did. She is very fair. One quiz every week ( 10% of the total grade)online, 5 tests ( 40%) online, and final cumulative test (50%) in person.

She is a very good math teacher. She is very thorough. She does get bothered by ppl talking in class and txting, but other than that she's easy. If you study and do the hw your guarenteed an A. There is alot of hw but i didnt do like any and got like 100 and 98 on the tests.

She goes over all the test material, sometimes I thought her tests had trick questions because they seemed so easy, but i got at least 90s on all of them. she has an accent but i didnt have a problem understanding her

This is the best teacher I have ever had! She explains things very well and doesnt go on until everyone understands. She goes out of her way to be available even giving her cell # out and telling students they could call at midnight if needed. She had audios for everything. Easy class, easy material. Hardly used the book, no actual graded homework (just tests) just optional handouts posted online for extra practice. She really is a great teacher. She uses two websites for further help on math that you don't need to buy the bundle pack that includes the code to go into the websites. Sometimes she may come to class a minute or two late and may run back to her office for some other paper for her students but she's always there to assist. Easy class; I got an A.

I guess her only fault she is not always ready for class runs to office for copies, but that's in part cuz students wont bring worksheets to class as requested.Favorite teacher by far.

If you hate math, take this class! Professor L. really takes the time to make sure everyone in the class understands before she moves on. All of our tests were done at home, but I am not sure if this is her normal schedule, because she had so much going on this semester. She is always willing to assist students. Highly recommend this class

Whether online, or face-to-face this professor is one of the best. Online, several attempts for each quiz and plenty of time to complete test; face-to-face, gives partial credit for partially correct answers. If you struggle in math, take her...you won't be sorry.

I honestly hae never seen a teacher care more about seeing their students succeed then her! She is always sending e-mails on ANGEL to keep students updated on everything and even goes as far as to give her cell number if you need to reach her. She goes over everything step by step and even offers extra credit after every test.

Took her for Lib Arts 1, pretty simple stuff if your ok with math. She provides incredible amount of homework, though it's not required. Pay attention in class for an easy A/B

Explains the 1st few chapters to death (almost a month each), then ran out of time for the harder more impt stuff. She is available after class if needed. Her Angel postings are very confusing, lots of folders named weird & cant tell when new stuff is added. She would be an excellent middle or HS sch teacher. Test & bonuses easy.

Quizzes are mainly in groups. Took the first (easy) exam so late that she made the last 3 exams online. Got 100s on the 2nd and 3rd, 4th is due the Sunday night before exams next Monday. No manadatorydue homework whatsoever. French math professors who literally uses the expression "bad x" and writes it on the board consistently.

the course itself is a lot of work, that is not something the instructor can make difference with. Instructor is extremely helpful and attentive with LOTS of reminders. It is nearly impossible to miss an assignment.

Lanuquiette is such a sweet person but her lectures are drawn out and just plain confusing. I found myself teaching myself with the online text book. Grade is based on 4 tests (2 of which where online) and a final. Claims book and homework are mandatory- didn't use book and never collects homework. Easy content, really caring teacher

This was my last math course ever, I only wish I'd known about her from the very beginning. She uses excellent teaching methods. She always gets back to you, even gives out her personal cell. Professor Lanuquiette is a good professor. She explains the material so all her students understand even if it takes the whole class time. This class was boring for me, because I just came out of high school with pre-calculus. She explains the material well and as long as you take notes and study, you are guaranteed an A.

Has an accent and is a little disorganized. Super sweet woman, very available and willing to help you. Lectures slow and step-by-step to make sure everyone's on the same page, might be aggravating if you're good with math. Assignments are integrated into mycourses and MML so it's more of an online experience. Don't buy book, MML has online copy.

Professor V was really nice. She really wants everyone to pass. She gives homework, but its never due. I would recommend not buying a book. She gives handouts and the reviews are online. We had 2 tests in class and 2 tests at home in groups if we wanted. Very easy class. She has an accent, so sometimes it is hard to understand her.

This professor really likes to work with you. 2 online test and two other test class the final is in class. She really likes to teach and wants each of you to learn math. If you want learn I would take her. This class was Liberal Arts Math. She can be a little overwhelmed and so you have to be patient with her. She also print out work for you.

Prof. Lanuquiette is very nice. She makes absolutely sure you understand the material before she moves on. However, the class may fall behind schedule because of this. (It did for mine, but it wasn't too bad. She posts lots of resources.) She uses MyMathLab for graded homework and quizzes and assigns book work that isn't checked.

I took MGF1106 in Spring 2016 with Ms. Lanuquiette. Ms. Lanuquiette is a very kind person. She really cares for her students and wants them to be successful. Pay attention to the lectures, take notes and do the homework. ALWAYS do the test review because it literally goes over what is on the test.

Although College Algebra is very hard, the fact that the Professor was more than willing to work with you and was very understanding and helpful, made the class easier. She does give a good amount of homework through MML, but that seems to be the way the program is. There is no extra credit, but there are no other assignments outside of MML to do.

Prof. Lanuquiette is fantastic. Coursework is not difficult if you're familiar with basic math concepts. You need to purchase My Math Lab because nearly ALL coursework is done on there. She drops the lowest homework grade from EACH section and also drops the lowest exam grade. Exams 3 & 4 were both done at home on MML. Never went and got an A.

I am currently taking this class. I was nervous taking College Algebra in general. But, Professor V is not too bad. If you are not majoring in Math or if Math is not your best subject, take her (if you need MAC 1105).

Prof. L definitely spends LOTS of time going over each math problem. If math comes very easy to you, I'd recommend not taking her because her class would be too slow-paced. But for people like me who struggle with math, I liked her teaching style very much. She is kind and patient with all the students and welcomed any questions during the lecture!

Prof L was not bad. She teaches the same lesson for days in a row, she doesn't care much if you show up, and all Hw + tests are online (except the final). She was very nice but did accuse me of cheating on my final?? Idk but she was chill other than that. I recommend if you are bad at math, or if you can just teach yourself the course (what i did)

Prof L is super accommodating and explains concepts clearly. The class is pretty easy - just do the online HW/tests and you'll be good. I found Unstuck ai's practice problems really helpful for solidifying the material.
