Ummmm...he's DrS! It's a very rigorous course, but with hard work and dedication...you'll be fine! I have very poor study habits and I managed to do fairly well in the class! Attendance is not mandatory but you'll probably regret it if you miss his lectures. Write down everything that he says and writes...YOU WILL SEE THEM AGAIN! Good Luck

Took him for the lab part.Easy teacher, his notes and powerpoints are just like the test and quizes just stay on top of his notes.If you take him for nights prepare to stay to the end takes attendance after class to make sure you were there.Prepare to spell out every word on the test so get your spelling game up

Very good teacher, he knows his stuff and he simplifies and helps you understand the material being taught. Manageable amount of HW and quizzes and he gives you points just for showing up to class. You take allot of notes but there is nothing on the test that aren?t in his notes. Very easy class so far, just study for his tests.

Taking him now for spring 2011, he may have an accent, but he is a great prof, he keeps u awake in his lab,I promise that u won't feel bored, his knoWledge is unlimitted, he is respectful and funny at the same time, I have very high respect for him bcoz he deserves it. Hands down the best professor on campus! His lectures are interesting, informative and he's actually quite funny. However, be prepared to study 24/7 in order to make an A or B. Nursing students: he's tough because he wants you to be prepared for the nursing program. (Don't listen to the whiners)

What? Yea it’s true his class is kind of hard and you have to be there so you won't miss anything but let me tell you he is a wonderful teacher. I know he talks a lot but he will help you a great deal for you to be a better student. Yea he gives several assignments but he gives you like a week to do them and they are not all due on the same day.

Wouldn't recommend him to anyone who dislikes hard work, but overall an excellent teacher. Challenges you to think outside your comfort zone. Like I said, is a hard grader, will reword you if you follow his instruction give chance for you to succeed at least he is actually teaches, which is what he's there to do.

If you want a real education, take him. I don't understand why people bash this professor. He is an old fashion teacher (according to him – start teaching in 1979 – wow!!!!!!) who teaches the way students can really learn and not just breeze through the course by doing no work and cheating.

He presents each lab with brief description of the day’s work & orients the class. He does not spoon feed. He will answer questions only after student has made some effort to answer the question on their own. I found it annoying at first but I am now much more of an independent learner. Dr. VS is absolutely brilliant. Some of the students in my class complained that it was too hard and it was extremely difficult if you didn't study or most likely “do not care”. He presents the material clearly and thoroughly. His tests are strait forward . I wish I had more professors like him.

His study guides and his test do not always match up. Must study book. He knows his stuff. Ask questions if you are confused. He will help you understand. Do not drop if getting low grades. You will pass. He is sufficiently fair with grading. Do not give up. She makes sure you pass. Take this professor!!

Dr. VS has been one of my favorite professors the last two semesters. Took him for AP1 and AP2. He challenges you and makes you think but you are a better student for it. Anyone that gives him a bad review did not try very hard. With minimal studying and paying attention in class I got As both semesters. Great teacher if you want to learn.

Dr. VS is tough; same time majority of my friends whom took his classes get and stay in nursing program. According to them he never fail student if you work with him. He do not have easy A you going to earn it.

Clear, concise professor! Very organized & I NEED that! Took him for A&P 1 online. Obviously this class not for "honor society" dudes. Quizzes are not timed with multiple attempts (different questions on new attempts - BUT this prepares you for the test!) studied all quizzes for the exams (which ARE timed).

Dr. VS is the most knowledgeable and concise professor I have had. His courses are not"easy" but if you want to learn something, not just ace through the course, he is the one to take. Incredible course.

When you first start out with this class you will say "oh my gosh it's so much work " and for someone who took this class on campus twice before taking him . I wish I just took him to begin with . Professor Vetaley Stashenko is an amazing teacher . In this class powerpoints and videos to help a lot with the assignments for chapters. He is an is a great teacher and I would definitely take any class he teaches. I highly recommend him great teacher.

My favorite professor of all time i took him for A&P1 lecture With LAB and A&P2 lecture. He is the best of the best. I would not take anyone else. He gives you plenty of resources to make you pass his class and understand the material. I would recommend him to everyone I meet. He really cares about his students so TAKE HIM!!!

He made all his lectures engaging by using visuals and personal stories to aid in his teaching. Every test or quiz I recall taking was multiple choice so just make a quizlet and go over the material a few times and you're all set.

I took Professor VS online A&P classes and it was pretty straightforward. There are four tests, section quizzes, and chapter discussions. It may seem kind of tedious, but it is fairly easy if you put in some effort.

If you study what you learn in his class you can't go wrong, really great professor- don't yawn in his class.

It is a hard class and he is a tough professor so the work you do in the class matches the difficulty of it. Dr. Vs is an absolutely wonderful instructor . I am taking him online microbiology course as well as lab. he is very straight forward and clear with the assignments. You must work through your entire lab manual. He is a big advocate for health and understanding how to maintain it, and pretty much all aspects of biology. He is very intelligent.

Dr Steshanko's class was very easy. Pay attention to the lectures in class & take notes. Do the assignments on canvas. Take the 4 tests (no lockdown required). If you get 85% or higher on all 4 tests, you don't have to take the final. Be respectful, keep your phone put away, participate. You will walk away with an easy A & you will learn a lot!

Can come off as intimidating at first. Show up for class, take notes, study. You will do fine. If you are looking for an easy A, keep walking. Dr Steshanko prepares you for the medical field. This is information you will NEED if you planning on trying to get into the nursing program. You can take an easier professor & not be prepared for Hesi.

Dr. S. is most unique professor who I met. He is extremally intelligent and teach you what you need to know to be successful. Meet him in person to understand his interest in your wellbeing and success or simply complete what he is asking and will receive your A.
