I realize that algebra isn't supposed to be easy, but she made it worse. She put questions on tests involving concepts that hadn't been taught yet. When only one person passes a test, it tells me that something must be wrong. Stay away!

This woman speaks in terms as if you should know everything she is teaching before she teaches it. If I were to here the words "you should already know this" one more time...! She makes you feel stupid if you ask a question and then makes no sense if you do ask. I learned more by reading the book. She does let you drop the class late though.

She was awful. She expected you to know the work before taking the class. Anyone can teach students who already know the material. Drop outs from her class appeared to be what she was looking for. Less students, less work for her.Not helpful. Avoid...

I had her for distance learning Intro to Statistics. She is NOT clear in what she wants. She lied to me saying an extra credit mid-term project was OPTIONAL, then turned around when I got my final grade saying it was mandatory. She said I didn't submit

Teaches as if all of the students in the class have doctorates in math. Her aim is to be so hateful that you can not learn the work and you can not stand to look at or listent to her. She wants students to drop the class so that she will not have too much work to do. Too lazy to actually teach the material.

WORST teacher I've ever had in my life. Survery is a course for NON MATH MAJORS and she treats this as an accelerated course. Horrible professor-the worst I've ever encountered! I'm a straight A student with strong Math skills, and she ruined my 4.0 GPA. Her tests are unreasonable, in some cases, impossible. She has an extremely nasty personality. Instead of helping students to do well, she causes them to fail. Her class was so stressfull, it made me physically ill.

I am a Honors Student. Though Math is not my best subject, I worked hard to get the best possible grade. Her quizzes and tests are not the same as her homework. Her assignments are difficult to understand, and she expects us to figure them out for ourselves. She has even given us an online quiz without teaching the material first.

When you have a teacher bragging about 20 students failing her class and having to repeat the course that says something about her teaching skills. Very hard to learn from, understand and has I don't care if you pass the class attitude... plus she gives a lot of homework....

HORRIBLE PROFESSOR, almost all students fail her course, and she doesn't care. Half the class will fail the test and she just keeps moving on. If you want to waste your money than take her. Also, she doesn't even let you go to the bathroom without losing participation points, she treats you like a toddler. Avoid her!

i never do this, actually my favorite subject is math, i have gotten 100's on all my math exams since the 11tg grade, i am in my 4th sememster at occ, and she is terrible, its mostly online math work and she teaches horribly, i would never ever take this teacher again, she jumps all over the place and doesnt ever gives the class problems to work on

She was definitely one of the worst teachers I have ever had. She went from point "A" to point "3", without explaining. She was very difficult to understand and follow. My GPA went from a 3.3 to a 2.6 because of this class. I don't recommend taking her for Algebra or any class. Get out. She was rude, kept us late and we could use the bathroom.

Tons of homework, be ready to be sitting there for 2-3 hours. Why beacuse you can't use a calculator in her class. Tests are weighed so heavily in this class, you can do all the homework and fail if you don't past the tests. Tests are extremely hard and long. You teach yourself, you blink and she went from point A to point Z. Avoid at all costs

I was told to take Mcmillians class because it is an entry level course. I regret taking her class everyday. It is nearly impossible to get an A. Shes the type of teacher that reflects her grading on if she likes you or not. She is not understanding whatsoever and I never hear anything positive about her.. i also heard she writes her own reviews

Do NOT take her class. She doesn't explain anything & she is an awful teacher. The quizzes are nothing like the homework. She doesn't go over quizzes or homework in class so you don't know what you got wrong. I had to withdrawal from the class. She goes so fast; we were 2 chapters ahead of everyone. I highly advise you to not take her class!!

Worst professor I've ever had. Told the class if we got up at any point for anything, including the bathroom, and walked out of the class that we shouldn't come back. Goes extremely fast when teaching. Half my class is failing, I'm only doing good because I teach myself everything. Beware of her, she is McVillain.

I passed her class almost by a thread. She doesn't explain things well enough to understand. If you have a question, she will make you feel stupid. The fact that she thinks she's better than everyone annoyed me. Only 5 out of 22 passed the course which reflects on her teaching.

She's SUCH a tough grader. I had her for an online class and we had discussion posts (you'd think she'd be somewhat nice on them) and the class average for most of them is a D or an F. Same thing with the tests. Crazy amount of problems on the tests, I didn't fully complete any of them. No EC, hoping for a curve.

Professor McMillians Accelerated Algebra class was way too difficult. The way she graded was unfair and only based on how she felt the work should be done. Quizzes every single week. If you miss one class, you fall behind by weeks it feels like. Also, you cant even go to the bathroom in her class or she makes you leave and not come baxk if you do

I should have known when I received a 75 for the introduction discussion that is a paragraph of me telling everyone about myself, that I should have dropped the class. She is extremely rude and her discussions do not make sense that the math majors in my friend group didn't even know what she was doing. Do not take her if you want to enjoy classes.

I think they stopped listing her as a professor when selecting classes because of how terrible she is, when I selected her class it was listed as TBD, avoid at all costs. I don't recommend Professor Mcmillian as a professor! she's a terrible professor! half the time, she doesn't even teach anything, she just plays a video of another professor, teaching the lessons! I am a smart student and the only reason why I got a C+ is because of this professor. She was rude in her emails and does not care about the students. She gives ridiculous amounts of work and she puts honorlock on anything she can. Save yourself the stress and dont take her class just because its online.

Professor Vicki L McMillian is without a doubt the worst professor I have ever had for any class from elementary to the college level. I took her online course and for the first time in my academic career, I had a teacher that did not teach. She gives you a substantial amount of workload where you must learn yourself because she will not help you.

A nice teacher, but the workload was too much. The tests were very hard, and not worth it.

She won't teach in class. Everything you "learn" is given to you via an hour worth of videos (not made by the professor) for you to watch outside of class. The homework was way too much and many things were unclear. If you message her, she will reply with a snarky response, blaming you instead. Do NOT take this class if you want any free time.
