I've taken two of her classes, and she's one of the best English teachers I have had. She is funny and very nice. She is very helpful. Half way through the semester she goes over your progress with you and tells you your strengths and weaknesses and where you need to improve.

She is the best teacher i have ever had in my life. She actually cares about you. I have taken her twice now and if there were any more classes i could take of hers i would. Her test are easy. These classes were easy A's.

Shes a great teacher...teaches great! Her teaching methods are 'outside the square box'. I would take her again but i dont have any eng classes left..shes easy! i got A's for all my essays which i wrote over night.

I enjoyed her teaching methods. She's not the 'normal' teacher. She seems kinda wierd at first but she's a nice teacher. She isn't avail. out of class but you could always email her. Her discussions are really good. I wish I had taken her for 1101.

Creative, passionate and understanding teacher to take for Creative Writing courses/workshops. Connects with students and is knowledgeable about the writing process. Amazing atmosphere in class, do your writing and you will enjoy it. Books for CRW are cheap. She's one of those teachers you are going to remember. Quirks included.

It does not matter which class this woman is teaching, you will learn and enjoy yourself while doing it. Think you want to be a writer? Than she is the perfect teacher for you and will not lie to you if your work needs improvement. Also she grades extremely fair if you're just taking a required course. Turn in the papers she asks for and get an A.

she's rude at times but her class is pretty easy...didn't really have to go to her class that much. she would assign work and you wouldnt have to come back until its due (unless you want to come to her workshops for help)...oh and she said she hate seeing nice reviews about her on here lol

I loved this class!!! I learned a lot. The essays are pretty easy but research is a MUST. You have a lot of "black board" days where you don't have to come to class, to work on your essays. If you don't turn in an essay, SHE WILL FAIL YOU! You also must come to the classes that are in class. I cant wait to take her again!!!!!

Prof. Santiesteban was very peculiar, but fun. She is very helpful and will go out of her way to make sure you understand the material.

Online, discussions not mandatory. Lots of small quizzes, just read course lessons and take. Fairly straight forward. Papers are easy, but I enjoy writing so my opinion may be biased. Finishing research paper now which is 25 percent of grade. She answers questions, is very clear and concise and does not tolerate poor english/grammar (thank God).

Professor Santiesteban was a great professor! I gave her a 5 rating! I went into this class not knowing much, but I came out knowing strategic skills of writing essays. Her class was very entertaining! Professor S. gave us a lot of online tools. If you want to learn/have fun at the same time, take this class! The essays were entertaining as well!

I love prof. Santiesteban. She is not like other English professors I had in the past that make you write about things you don't even know, her essay topics are interesting and easy to write about. She is also fair grading and very nice as a person, very smart and not arrogant at all. Will love to take her again, I really recommend her.

She was seriously SO helpful. I loved my professor for ENC1101 so was nervous when he wasn't available for ENC1102. She was amazing though for an online class, extremely helpful, and seriously on top of her game. I would definitely take her class again!

I took English 1 and 2 with her. She is very helpful. There is not too much coursework. You have plenty of time to do everything. She is really, really nice. Definitely take her!

If you are looking to improve your writing, she will tell you exactly what you need to know. She makes you think outside the box. I never saw myself as a good writer but after taking this class it honestly improved my writing. Warning: there is a lot of writing for this class but again, it is creative writing. Shes worth it though.

I have taken this Prof.for online&classroom courses. This Prof. is one that you'd expect to find in Harvard/Yale;Think“Dead Poets Society.” She'll take you on a journey and teach you about the subject and life itself. Do you have common courtesies, think outside the box, like to challenge yourself and be creative? Take her classes. Life Changing.

Wonderful professor. She will teach you so much and you will come out of her class a better writer. She's lovely to work with because she's friendly and brightens your day. I like her because she grades fair and you will get what you deserve. I did very well but I saw others who got bad grades. Put in your best effort and you will do great!

I really was afraid to take English. Then I met Ms. Vicky. Awesome teacher, she is so helpful, plus funny. I recommend her to anyone. I feel as though she should be teaching at a school like Yale, but we are bless to have her. She really help me get over my fear and made English enjoyable.

FUN. She is just way too funny and is most likely to make the topic relatable. She likes to teach in a didactic way! She doesn't like the students to use cellphones and likes when everyone is in. She cares.

I love her! she is one of the best. She taught me to open my thoughts and spill them on paper with ink. She is very inspiring, plus she really does work with you. The only way you can fail the class is if your a extremely lazy person. I would take her again great personality and she's down to Earth.

She is a great professor. Honestly, I can now write a solid college level paper because of her. She will not repeatedly tell you the due dates of the assignments since she expects you to read the syllabus and she does not accept late work. If you put enough effort into her class it is nearly impossible to fail.

Professor Santiesteban is an amazing teacher! As long as you follow due dates, there are not any issues. She reaches back to emails quickly and helps with any misconceptions. I would suggest future students to ask word count for the rough and final drafts. I did not see it in the syllabus. The 3 roughs & 3 finals account for majority of your grade.

Prof S, is one of the coolest teacher in all of BC. She is caring and understanding and she does not give a lot of work. I took her course and it was amazing we had 2 papers to write both were 1000 words but she gives a lot of time to write it and you can choose the topic which Is a huge plus for me.Point is, TAKE HER CLASS may Jesus bless you

Professor Santiesteban was great! We had 4 essays that we had to write, not very long ones, and 3 discussion posts for each unit. She provided great feedback on my essays to help me succeed in the class. I also liked how each unit had a specific due date and not everything was due on different days. Overall she is a great teacher and I recommend!

This is one of the easiest profs at BC. I took her for enc1102 and it was a breeze. We wrote 2 papers and each had to be 4 pages including the work cited which was not bad, you chose the topic, and we had 2 discussions. It is not a lot of work but I recommend that you attend her class every day and on time because she definitely starts on the dot.
