Intro 2 Political Science- This professor was great! A true diamond in the rough, I can say that I really enjoyed his class during the elections, even though I am a right-wing extremist. Take his class if you plan on learning.

He is a great professor, but hard to understand most of the time. If you study and do all your work you should be able to get a good grade in his class.

May be hard to understand at times, but his interest on the subject wins in the end. Do the work. Read the book. Study for the tests. You should get and A.

The class is interesting if you open you're self up to learning about whats going on in the world around you.Dr. A knows what he is teaching and I appreciate that he taught both democratic and republican views without taking a side. Tests r tough, use the website in the book, some of the exact questions are on the test. Not much homework= must do.

Wow what a great tacher. I did all of the assignments came to class and got an A. If you are willing to put forth the effort you will make it. His test come right from a study guide that he goes over, what a piece of cake:).

I am now have a bachelors in Pol Sci and he was my 1st pol sci teacher. To this day, I still think have the perspective of a non-American was an great experience. I continued to tell people about things he told me till I graduated, and even now as I work for a Senator.

So far the best teacher i've had. He knows his subject and You will learn a lot. If you're lazy and wants and easy A don't take his class. But you actually do the work instead of complaining you will pass with a good grade.

Dr. "A" is a really good teacher. He's very knowledgeable and aims to educate you and not allow you to walk out of his class at the end of the semester w/o knowing about our gov't . He has a sense of humor, which gives comic relief. I would highly recommend him. The class is not easy but is not hard. Be ready to learn!!!

He was really sweet and funny. He had a good sense of humor and strange mannerisms that were quite endearing. The Nigerian accent that he had was kinda cool also. Dr. Aikhionbare is a good professor. He likes to teach by comparision, i.e. presidential system & parlimentary system. He takes questions and listens to students' answers. Tries to get you involved. Be prepared to study for his tests. They will be a little challenging but "A"s are possible. He does a good job of giving extra credit on exams to help

I love this guy. I took him for Intro to American Govt during my first semester and got a C, and took him for Intro to Poli Sci in the Spring last year and got an A. It amazes me that he can teach politics without displaying his own political views. He's easy if you know your stuff.

Definitely a very helpful teacher. The book is pretty helpful for his course as well. He does have an accent but it does not interfere with class at all. He's a serious joker and a fun class to be in. I highly recommend him. The only thing he will not forgive you for is not doing his homework assignments.

Great professor. He's really into the subject and knows what he's talking about. Has a way of making class go by really quickly. You have to do three things in order to pass this class: attend class (DUH!), study, and print out his notes. The last two are dependent on each other. He provides the notes on his website btw.

In my opinion he is the best professor at PBCC. He provides the class with a review sheet which is correlated to the test questions. My advice would be to pay attention in class, take good notes, and most importantly understand everything in his review sheet!He's a great prof, definitely take his class. You will learn a lot :)

Dr. Aikhionbare's class was very interesting. Make sure you don't miss a day of class though, most of what is on the test are from what he says in class, not the books. He did give us 2 mindless homework assignments and 1 which I found very interesting. Tests were easy, lots of opportunity for extra credit. He is more than fair.

I can't believe some of the awful reviews I am reading about Dr. A! I had him for POS1001 and POS1041 and would take him again and again. By far one of my favorite professors. Yes, you have to show up to class, take notes, and take exams that make you THINK! Do all of that and you will get an A. I got 2! It's college, you need to do some work.

I LOVE THIS CLASS. He made the subject interesting.The summer class can be very long but the test are easy and are straight out the 2 text book and notes. Also write everything he writes becuz it will appear on the test. His accent is not bad. Homework can be long and annoying and he does grade for correction and grammatical errors. I got an A.

Took for summer semester and he is an excellent professor. I barely went to class, when I was there I slept through lectures. He gives a review if you complete the review and skim the notes/chpts then you're set. I earned a B with little to no effort. His tests are 50 percent memory 50 percent analysis of what's in front of you. I recommend him.

he has an accent but its kinda funny and really not hard to understand. hes a good teacher he loves politics. he can be offensive sometimes about if your a republican or democrat but at least he bashes both sides and not just one. hes very good at explaining the politcal process if you can stay awake which sometiems feels like mission impossible.

doesnt take attendance book not required he posts all the powerpoints he goes over in class beforehand, he stays on one subject for long time and can get off topic, but he's funny has accent but its not bad at all dont listen to the rednecks he gives reviews for exams and goes over them he says interesting things which keep you from falling asleep

Professor Aikhionbare was amazing this semester for Political Science. I had him this summer when taking Dual Enrollment and when he teaches you REALLY learn a lot. He keeps the class focused and his jokes are hilarious.. I would definitely take another class from him.Great Professor.

Great Teacher

One of the best instructors I've ever had at Palm Beach State. He is extremely good natured, funny, fair, unbiased, and well-learned. His accent would only be hard to understand if you were on something, otherwise you're good. Yes, the class does get into debates at times: it's political science, people have opinions. OUTSTANDING professor.

Pretty easy class. He is a very smart professor, keeps things interesting.Theres 5 tests, if you pay attention in class, and study from his notes and read the chapter at least once, you should get at least a B and up in each test. He gives three hw, which are easy also.

Prof. Aikhionbare is a great educator. Ignore ratings that cite his accent as an excuse for their poor performance, I assure you it is not nearly as thick as they make it seem. He is extremely knowledgeable and gives study guides for each test. It's cake. My only complaint is his refusal to respond to emails.

I took this class 2 times before at another community college and just could not hold my interest but when i took it with prof A he made it interesting. test come straight from Power Point and book even drops your lowest test grade and adds up to 20 extra credit questions on the exam. so what he has an ACCENT doesn't make him unqualified 2 teach!!

This professor is off the CHAIN!!! Yeah his accent is a little rough, and his tests may be ridiculously hard, but everything he tests you on is in the book and from his powerpoints. READ the book and you'll pass his class!

Prof. A has a sincere enthusiam for U.S. Government and its history. He is enthusiastic and extremely knowledgable. His accent was not bothersome and does not mind at all if you don't understand something he said, he'll make it clear by restating or writing and illustrating his points. He is an awesome Professor and I highly recommend him!

Really easy if you just do the work. Really any professor at PBSC is as easy as it gets at the college level. Prof A.helps you if he sees your intereted and does a great job to prepare students for university level course work. All of you that find him hard will NOT survive a REAL university course

Prof. A's class was interesting and brain-stimulating. He is not tricky and his accent is not incomprehensible like many complain. We live in a globalized society, get over the fact that he has an accent. He has a diverse background in politics and has a way of playing the devil's advocate.

Awesome teacher. He gives you chapter questions that reinforce what you are learning in the class. All his questions on his test come from the book, handout questions, and PowerPoint presentation. There's no way you can fail the class if you study the above. He even gives you homework to increase your grade. What more can you ask for?

Great character, funny; He's Nigerian so his accent may be confusing, but he is very dedicated to his craft. He dropped our lowest grade & gave extra credit. the only downside is that we have less take home assignments (tests are basis of your grade) He gives a thorough review for each test, so I found it easy. Dr. V is very insightful nd knows a lot about what he is teaching. He encourages group and class interaction. He wants to see you pass and will do everything he can to make it happen. Pretty funny too.

Believe me when I say, you will NEVER find another professor like DR. V in college. He truly cares about his students. He forms a bond with them & tries to teach the class on their level. The subject is not appealing, but he makes it so. The hw is very easy. IF YOU'RE DUAL ENROLLING, TAKE HIM. HE'S YOUR BEST BET IF YOU WANT TO GET AN A.

proffesor aikhionbare is the best he likes to talk alot and have class diccusions he gives reviews for every test. all my brothers and cousins took him for pos1001 and all passed so i highly reccomend him. i passed his class easily. text book is not really reccomended save the money just pay attention to his power point and take notes

EXCELLENT in every way. He knows his subject well and involves the class with his personality. (SUCH a political troll though!) Lectures are his own, and they're never dull. He emails the slides so students can print out and take notes as he lectures. Tests are straightforward - easy pass if you study. Papers are simple - 2-4 pages, not research.

This Professor is one of the few out there that will make you learn something at the end of the day. I find it unfair that he gets bad grades because lazy students don't want to do anything and still pass. You have to study to get an A here, like college is supposed to be, but this professor is one of the best in this college hands down. He's great

Professor A. is an amazing teacher. I've taken 2 separate classes of his and he really loves his job, so knowledgeable and willing to help. It's clearer wants his students to learn and pass. But if you're lazy and just want an easy A I'd chose another prof. If you actual want to learn prof A. is a great teacher.

Viktor is no doubt one of my favorite teacher I took so far at PBSC. He is very charismatic and educational, his sense of humor helps the serious political subject matter to be effectively tolerable and a lot more engaging to discuss in class. It is no doubt that political science is most socially involve class I experienced and it is worth it.

The man is a genius. Can go off-topic a lot during class but overall pretty good. I'd recommend but just know, tests aren't necessarily easy, he will make you work for that A.

This class is not as hard as people are making it sound. I took this as a high school senior and got an A by actually studying once in awhile. Work-wise, it's very nicely paced, but the tests require for you to study the material thoroughly (there was only like 5 tests though). If you study well, you will pass. Professor is a smart and funny guy.

Yes he has an accent but it does not get in the way of anything you can understand him . He is a really funny guy loves joking around . Isn't always so serious . His test are challenging . He may have a strong accent but he is an amazing professor. You actually learn and he goes in depth with his teacher. Be prepared to take notes and write down everything he says. He gives out quizzes so be sure you wrote good notes. Sadly he will be retiring next year so be sure to take him before he leaves.

if you are really want to learn , it is a class that you should go. I was not great for policy at all , but now I like it . it is very useful knowledge for me . I like the way that he teach. he discussed current policy in class also .

Amazing professor. He lectures very heavily so if you get bored easily, this professor is not for you. Tests are easy (all answers in lecture), but are a large part of your grade, but he gives a lot of extra credit to make up for some of it. Very accommodating and understanding. He just retired, but if he ever chooses to teach again I recommend.

This is a really good professor. He made the classroom environment so much better. There were rarely any homework assignments and if there was they were really simple. His lectures were good and funny. His test are not really hard you just need to study a bit more. I would definitely take his class again if i had to
