Mr. Gomez he is a good professor very helpful when it comes to the grades I wanted to drop his class cause I thought I was failing and he told me come on stay so I did and I ended up passing with a C yeah because I screw Up all semester but still his class is very easy and also he is more of a friendly instructor I would recomend him.

professor Gomez is an awesome professor. he gave us three exams and one of them was a take home, 4 or 5 quizzes, and we had to type out the vocabulary words for each chapter. his class was pretty easy and class was usually over within 30 or 40mins.

i took him summerI. it was awesome. short classes but full of information. everything we took as notes was in the tests/exams. used book only for vocabulary. he gives u exactly what to study for test!! super easy class, just study, do your vocab, and show up to take notes. :] loved it.

Mr. Gomez is the easiest professor. Just show up for class for notes everyday and you will pass his test. He gives extra points for the exams if you show up to the history events in school. People that dont pass his class is because they are lazy.

Fun class. All you need is a book called "they called them greasers" and you take quizzes on the chapters of the book. Very easy, yet you learn a lot about the history of Tejanos and Mexicanos in Texas and their interactions with whites before, during, and after the american civil war. Gives ample extra credit opp. so take advantage!

Awesome teacher. if you send him an email you will respond to you asap. took him during summer. had all the quizzes and test ready the first day of class. just study his lectures carefully and learn the voc words from the book. if you do that you will get an easy A. also he gives extra credit =)

I enjoyed having him as my teacher. He isn't hard at all, plus he knows his history. He always gives you an opportunity for extra credit and his notes are well thought out. Follow them and you are sure to pass his class!!

I really like his class and I think is easy but when it comes to quizzes and Tests you better read or you will fail the class. He gives lots of extra credit but if you don't read it won't matter because you need to pass most of his test to pass the class.

Super funny and i love that he uses everyday mexican slang. His lectures are a must for test hes extremely clear and very helpful if you have any questions. His class was fairly easy, I'm not good in history at all and I got a B in his class. You do need to do the work to pass and he does give a lot of extra credit. I really do recommend him.

Took Hist 1302 online, the grading system was fairly easy to follow. He opens up all the material since day one so if you want to get ahead you can. However, you have to read the book, I never bought it, I just read lecture notes and I would do fair. He give many extra credit points for attending presentations. His class was okay.

This class is based on quizzes and exams. Good thing about him is that he offers a lot of extra credit so take complete advantage of it! Half of the quizzes comes from chapter vocabulary terms and the other half on what you read.. so yes, textbook is a must. Only writing in this class is for extra credit response.

Take his HIST 1 class. I loved this class and his lectures. Never a boring moment! You won't regret. There is assignments but not hard. His exams are tricky though but not hard.

Take his class, it's easy you just have to attend class for lectures and study. 10 quiz but mostly vocabulary and 10 question true and false. His lectures are clear and he gives a lot of extra credit. You can earn an A if you do all this extra credit.

for us hist 1301 and 1302 i got an A, all exams are online, he gives you study guides and two hours per exam. all answers are on study guide, you might have to read between the lines a bit but it's very easy, if you don't get an A then you need to reconsider going to college. no homework, extra credit offered a few times per semester.

Took this class online. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that you can't see what exam questions you missed. He doesn't open up the exam for viewing when you finish it. I brought it up to his attention and he suggested maybe after the due date passed he would let us view it but he never did. Once exam is completed it's gone.

Professor Gomez makes the class very fun and you will learn a lot, but you have to read all the chapters. Exams and homework are very easy, all you have to do is go over the notes. You should pass this class with an A. If not, then there's something wrong with you.

Very easy class, entire class is setup so you can finish it all as soon as you'd like to. Quizzes are easy, straight of lectures and chapters covered. Test study guides are available and everything is straight off the lectures. I registered for HIST1302 immediately with Prof Gomez. He responds pretty quickly but not extremely flexible with issues.

Quizzes and tests are straight off the lecture notes. You can finish the class as soon as you'd like, since he places everything online on the first day. Need to study lecture notes and textbook is a must for definitions.

Took for summer online. Course consists of chapter quizzes from book and Exams from lectures. Quizzes consisted of true and false, exam is a mixture of multiple and true and false. You do get two attempts for the exams which is good. You are also able to finish the class when you want since everything is accessible on the first day of class.

Awesome teacher really funny. I took it Fall 2017 as a Hybrid class which means half online half traditional. You attend class once a week for lectures and all the work is done online. 3/8 quizzes are just to type vocabulary words and email them. The other 5 quizzes have 10 questions. 3 exams and a Final. Extra credit opportunity for every exam!

Took him online for Hist 1301 thinking it was easy, but personally it wasnt. Oh course theres a lot of reading involved. Exams are a bit challenging, so you must ready. But you do get grades for turning in definitions which is super easy. He offered extra credit for all exams. Seemed like a cool guy! Youll definitely learn if you take him!

Victor Gomez is one of the best history professors I have ever taken. His lectures are interesting and fun. I used to dislike history before taking him. Professor Gomez cares about his students grades and provides many extra credit opportunities. He replies very quickly to emails. Highly recommend !!

I took hybrid and attended all extra credit opportunities which are anywhere between 10-30 points each. I really enjoyed his lectures, he's passionate about history. He treats everyone equally and as long as you apply yourself you will pass.

Took his class online during Summer 2. He is strict about his due dates, but gives you more than enough time to complete each section. Stay on top and you could finish the class pretty quickly. We had quizzes, a final exam, and at least three of our quizzes were to type out vocabulary terms. You're given one attempt for each exam or quiz. Easy A.

Took his MexAm Studies class online. EASY A! Everything is laid out for you. Read, take quizzes and read his lectures. He gives 25 extra credit points for all his exams, even the final.

Loved his class for summer 2. All class work is provided on day 1. All are about 6 quizzes and 3Exams and final.... easy to pass if you read his lecture notes and push yourself to complete the vocabulary quizzes. But other than that its easy. Helps if you get with other class mates...

Overall his online class for summer II was straightforward and his lectures were easy to understand. If you read his lectures along with reviewing the reviews he gives you for exams you will be good. Make sure you have your textbook ready to use. You definitely need one. Everything is pretty much laid out for you the whole semester.

I took his hybrid class and loved it. It was early in the morning and his enthusiasm for the subject kept us awake even entertained. I do recommend his classes. For the first time in my short time at STC I think he has been the only one to stick to his syllabus. Oh, and don't miss lecture day. I sort of learned the hard way. Won't regret.

Hes a pretty great teacher, and he gives a lot of extra credit opportunities, so if you arent that great in history you will be covered for the test with the extra credit.i dont like history and i learned a lot from him.

This professor was super engaging and his lectures were almost some sort of must see tv because of how funny and informative he is. Too bad we didn't finish the semester in class because of the virus but he did make the transition very smooth. He helped us by extending deadlines, was very helpful and responded fast. Take him. Mr. Gomez made everything easy to navigate and gave clear instructions of the expectations. Quizzes were fairly easy and exams were based on the work from the book. You will be ready a lot but all the exams are based on the book. I took as mini-mester and it was very easy!

If you are taking an online course he is your guy!! I took him for Spring 2020 and he gave extra credit and also gave two attempts per quiz and test. I got an A in his class and will be taking Mexican america 2 with him as well. Quizzes and Exam are multiple choice and true or false.

TAKE HIM!! Very few are as caring and concerned about students like he was. Class is easy but have to read. He is fair and I am taking him again no question.

What I appreciated from this class was he allowed us 2 attempts for quizzes and tests. Lectures were great reads and actually learned and that's because I don't like history. I highly recommend him. He was quick responding emails as well which always is a plus.

I am currently loving his Mex. Am. intro class. He does give 2 attempts and has book available for you to get going. I loved some of his lectures and share with my mom who would tell me these stories to my brother and me growing up. I really like the class and saved some money by not having to buy the book. A lot of reading but worth the time.

Took his HIST1301 U.S History 1 class and it was very simple. He provides the book and his assignments consist of writing definitions for key terms from the book, quizzes and 3 exams. Gives enough time to turn in the work.

Dr. Gomez is a great professor. If I were you I would get him for class NOW! His lectures are easy to understand and he is really funny. He makes lectures fun to read. There are no discussions just quizzes and test, and all are open. Gives you the opportunity to advance with work, reason he will not accept late work.

You do vocabulary words, quizzes, 3 exams and final exam. On quizzes you have 1 chance, but with exams and final you have 2 chances. You are NOT WEBCAM, he lays out all his assignments so you can get started and advance. He does respond to you BUT he doesn't accept late work. You can finish his class before the end of his course. Mr. Gomez class was sooo easy. He's an amazing professor and im glad I found him for history 2 because I hate history but I really enjoyed his work, it was nothing major. I honestly finished all his work in 3 weeks!

I took him for History I and got an A for that class. This was back in 2013. You will need to read book assigned. He gives you 2 attempts for quizzes and exams. Make sure to just do the assignments and you will do great. Make sure to also take all attempts. Wish he taught Federal & Texas Government.

Easy class, great professor and will respond quickly on the pronto app. Your "homework" is copying vocabulary words on Microsoft word. MAKE SURE TO READ THE SYLLABUS. He likes the homework to be turned in a certain way. You have quizzes every now and then, overall easy class.

Literally, Professor Gomez is a king. His quizzes are the easiest all you have to do is read his study guides and he provides a study guide with the important stuff and he has a funny sense of humor! this is my third time taking him!

Professor Victor Gomez's class was the best! I took it online and loved that all assignments were open from the start, so I finished everything by the second week. Very few assignments, (NO Honorlock), and extra credit for events. There's no way you can fail this class. Highly recommend!

MEX-AME HIST 2. Simple class, 2 unit exams and 1 final, the rest are quizzes, no extra credit for summer classes, its an easy A, has 2 attempts for every thing, but be carefull, he will ONLLY take the last attempt NOT your highest grade, so if you score high the first time dont take it a second time unless you know you'll get a higher grade

Took this course online and was pretty easy with no honorlock or lockdown browser. All assignments are open from day 1 and have specific deadlines. Overall easy class, but some content was a bit confusing. I took Mex-American HIST 1 and its made up of 9 quizzes and 2 exams along with the final. Would recommend!
