Fantastic professor! He takes time to explain each topic so each student understands. If extra help is needed, just ask. He is more than willing to make time to meet with students so that they understand the material. The course work is very fair. There are online quizzes/homeworks, take them becus he'll count the highest grade of each quiz.

Best teacher. He THOROUGHLY lays everything out, has power points and works on the board. If you don't understand, he will give several examples and works through them with you. It shows that he really does care about his students understanding the subject, and all the corny pop culture references are icing on the cake. My only regret is that I couldn't have taken every chemistry class ever with this guy.

He moves really fast, but that's only bc there's so much material to cover. He makes up for this w his helpfulness. Has an open door policy, responds quickly to emails, and his HW assignments & extra practice questions really help you understand the material. He's enthusiastic and funny, and a real pleasure to be in class with! Take him!

Some people definitely didn't do well but thats because it can be difficult, not because hes not good. Honestly the BEST professor for chemistry and likely the best professor I've ever had! Organic chemistry is one of those esoteric courses that is generally difficult to grasp, but he made it both enjoyable and easy to understand. He's quite dorky which is awesome because he is quite personable and funny. I just wish he taught Orgo 270271.

Took him over the summer. Chem is the hardest subject for me but with Prof Huang it became much easier. He puts the powerpoints online and the homework and review sheets really help you grasp the concepts. He replied quickly to e-mails too. If you study and do all your work, this class is a breeze. I would take him again.

By far my favorite professor at Farmingdale. I took him last semester for chm260 lecture and lab and got an A and now I'm taking him for Biochem lab. He makes the material easy to understand and always willing to help. He does gives graded homework but it honestly helps so much bc if forces you to practice and study. Definitely recommend him!!

He has office hours but is very flexible about making it work if you can't meet at those times. He makes cheesy jokes but makes lecture enjoyable. I definitely recommend him.

The bestest professor I've taken in my undergrad years (I went to two different schools). Makes everything understandable and explains core material. Makes little jokes to lighten up the atmosphere. Understands students have other classes to study for and does not pressurize anyone. Gives HW and review sheet for exams as well as goes over it.

Dr. Huang is probably the best science professor in the Metro Area. No joke, I met kids from all over NY, Jersey, and Connecticut who would take his summer course because the professors at their home schools were garbage. Huang is that good.

Loved taking this class. He is so clear and energetic which made want to study even harder to make sure I not only got an A but that I actually learned something. Lectures were clear and he was always available after class. Make sure to go to his office hours for questions - It would make it easier when studying. and try not to skip class.

He's a little fast paced as a speaker but he'll go over anything multiple times until you get it. You'd have to actively try to not do well in his class.

I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Huang. There were 5 tests and one optional final, two of them were take home. He is very clear with what will be on the exams. If you take this before orgo it gives you a great advantage! If this is your only exposure to orgo, it won't be sufficient for a test like the MCAT. Overall, best professor ever!

Great Lb intro material for CHM 152L before class. I would have been lost w/out it. Clear graging rubric. I took him for CHM 152 lect & lab & CHM 380. He prepares his students well for lecture exams too. Uses pen & paper hw! Funny & laid back lectures. Very approachable & really cares about being a good professor.

Definitely the best chemistry professor at Farmingdale. I only wish he taught CHM 270 - 271. Gives extra credit and explains things very well. He talks a little fast, but you get used to it. If you don't get something, go to his office hours. He is much slower there and explains in great detail. Taking him for CHM 380T & L.

Great class and professor! Super nice and cracks a lot of jokes. He gives extra credit questions on tests and opportunities to do test corrections at the end of the session. Took Prof. Huang for Chm 152 and 153 lecture and labs and he was amazing. You are not required to buy the books and as long as you study the slides and have a clear understanding of the topics, you will do well. He is willing to help you through difficult topics and answers questions clearly. He clearly has a passion for Chemistry and teaching!

Dr. Huang is the BEST professor I've had in the past 3.5 years of being at Farmingdale. He is extremely organized and accessible outside of class (responds to emails almost instantly). Professor Huang is one of the best Chem professors out there! Great teaching style with endless jokes to keep the class engaged. All tests are take home so you don't feel rushed (they aren't easy though because they are take home). He is a must take for any chem class.

Take this professor! This professor made chemistry super easy to understand. Do the practice problems he posts before the exam! They are similar questions that he will ask on the exam and they will help you understand how to get them right on the exam. There are 5 mandatory unit exams and an optional final. There were only 3 homework assignments.

Super cool lab professor. On one lab, I totally messed up a dilution and didn't realize until the end. I told Dr. Huang and he shrugged it off and let me use someone else's data. TAKE HIM! first two exams are in class, exam 3 and 4 are at home, exam 5 is in class and there's an optional final. 4 homeworks that bump your grade up at the end of the course. Funniest, nicest professor. Also lets you do corrections on 1 exam. I hated chemistry until i took his class, he made it fun! recommend him 100%

Professor Huang is a AMAZING professor I highly recommend taking any of his courses. Over my years of Farmingdale he is the first professor I had ever had make his chemistry classes fun and hilarious by making pop cultures references. He offers test corrections if you have a low test grade and once submitted he'll replace your old grade.

Prof has great sense of humor, and uses to connect the topic he teach. Has online resources for the students to help in class. Always ready to answer questions. Will drop your lowest test grade and allow students to make corrections to boost your grade. Definitely take him for 260T and 380T.

The best professor in FSC. He is so organized. In order to do good pay attention in class, do the hw and watch the lecture videos he posts. Also do practice problems which are very similar to the exam.

Victor Huang is by far the best professor I have had at Farmingdale so far. He has amazing lectures that are full of chemistry related memes that are actually funny, he has a great personality and explains the contents of the course in great detail. Very hard to fail the course, one exam is dropped and one is a take home exam

He's a great professor. Please take him. Did online and all the answers to his test are found in the recorded lectures. He's understanding and tends to make references to Star Wars and Marvel characters in class. Just pay attention to his class and you'll be fine. No textbook needed + very quick to email back

His lectures are a blend of humor and his own experience. He is the best prof in the chemistry department, so register for his class if you want to learn. Make sure to review and study before the tests and quizzes. Even though he makes the content relatively easy to process and understand, it is still a good thing to review.
