Great teacher, Keeps subject interesting.

Great teacher...interesting, funny, and very smart. He really wants you to learn and have fun so he will make sure you understand before ever moving on.

Medina is one of the best college professors you will ever take. I highly recommend his class.

omg that class is the reason why my major is now sociology, being in the class with him was a great adventure, i was only there for one semester as a hs student but i loved it and did well. i recommend him for any class that hes offering u will have a blast and what a learning experience!he loves it

he makes the class interesting, funny and worth taking, u really learn, he only expects u to make ur own book, do the work he does assign which isnt much, he really wants students to achieve and learn, so try ur best and he'll do his best, plus he's extremely intelligent-- on ANYTHING, he rocks!

For my 1st semester back in 5 years, I was nervous. After 2 classes with him, I was so thrilled to be back... I didn't want to miss a day! He is an amazing, & knowledge, man & professor. He is one of the reason that I want to teach! Even though he got me to consider switching my major. Incredible prof - I highly reccommend him!

Very cool teacher. He treats you like a person, not just a student. Strict but fair. Goes out of way to help you succeed. Makes Soc interesting and not tedious. Closed-minded people need to give his classes a chance, You have no choice but to think and learn. Absolutely one of the best teachers I've ever had.

this guy is fricken amazing! he opened my eyes to so many things, and he treats his students as friends. i love his abnormal way of teaching. there is no way you could sleep through his class, i'm so glad i took his course!

i've been to university of bridgeport & southern connecticut state, and medina is by far the best professor i have ever had at any school. he makes class interesting, i always wanted to go. take any classes that you can with him, he's amazing!!

There is not enough room in these damn things to give Little Brown Man the praise he deserves. He's the reason I even know about this ridiculous site to begin with. I love the way he challenges his students. He forces them out of ignorance and into reality. I will never again be able to truthfully say "I did not know that". I love this man.

I took the mandatory Sociology class and was extremely surprised at how great it was. Medina was great. He teaches students tons and knocks the ignorance right out of you. His classes are very interesting. Not once did I check my watch all semester. The best Prof I have ever had. I took Soc of the Family because I enjoy him so much. That was great.

No **** kinda guy. Gotta love it. The classes were great and you get a lot out of them! Don't show up late, or he's putting you on the spot, is something I've learned..it never gets old. Other than that, we have a lot to learn from this man. And he loves comedy..wonderful!

Anyone that doesn't take this man's class does NOT know what they are missing. Even if you dont have to take any sociology classes I would still recommened sitting in his class!!!!! Besides the fact that he is sexy!!!!!!!

Simply the best. In all of my years of school I have never encountered a teacher who truly cares so much about the subject and his students as well. If every teacher was like Professor Medina then droping out would be unheard of...

After I have completed all my years in college and when I look back on all of my professors, he will have been THE BEST prof. I have encountered. He is hilarious, bold yet understanding, and honestly just everything a wonderful professor should be, rolled into one human being. I looked forward to going to every class.

I LOVE THIS MAN! He is easy to understand, generous, and gets to know his students. As long as you read the text and take notes you'll be fine in his class (SOC 101). Hilarious man. Can be offensive if you've got thin skin, but if you can take his roughness you will fall in love. Teaches for the sake of teaching. Worth every minute of your time.

GREAT teacher! Really focuses on points if you don't understand (but you HAVE to speak up). His first class is a little daunting, but if you are willing to do the work and GO TO CLASS you will LOVE him! Goes off track with stories, but makes the class fun! LOVED him! You HAVE TO GO TO CLASS though. He is understanding, but don't take advantage!

I wish I had him for a regular class instead of the accelerated summer class. He is a VERY good professor who takes our learing serious but makes it fun and interesting!

This is the Best teacher in the world after my first test which i really didn't past he said to me your not going to fail my class and he was right he's a exellent teacher and really cares about his students and he'll help in anyway he can. and this true cuz Harlem ShellS said so!

Amazing professor. He is very understanding about missing class if its for a legitimate reason, but he hates when people come in late for his class. The class period is used perfectly to explain exactly what will be on each test and always gives out study guide a class before the exam. I highly suggest taking Soc 101 to every student.

he is awesome! he gives this little rant on the first day and your hooked from then on, hes got so many awesome stories and he teaches the way you would imagine your best friend teaching you something hes hilarious and in your face and doesnt hold back hes strict about being late but you'll want to show up early anyway

At first he seems a little intimadating but once you get to know his sarcastic personality he's truly a nice guy. Don't be late for his class he's a stickler for tardiness. he will literally call you out in front of the whole class.

You'll learn in his class but he keeps you so much longer due to his excess in personal stories and I feel his questions for exams aern't as clear as he makes it seem.

i went into this class not even knowing about sociology and this man has opened a new and exciting door for me. because of this man i might shootfor a phd in soc.

GPA enhancer. Show up (early), pay attention (lock-on), and take notes (it's what's on the test) and you'll pass with flying colors. He knows his stuff and will explain it until you understand it (great if English is not your first language or you are a slow writing lefty). You'll really enjoy the class. Oh, and "Hi" Prof! =)

Took his class in '09 and it changed everything. Medina is awesome. I even went when I was sick because his lectures were that good. I only planned to take a few classes, but he pointed out we can't take education for granted. So I enrolled full time, graduated and am finishing my BA degree. Best prof I've ever had! Victor is the reason why I wanna major in Soic! Such a cool guy. Gives out 3 exams + final exam and drops the lowest grade out of those. Tells such funny stories and uses them as examples of the material so you remember them better. TAKE THIS CLASS!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!! :)
