I took Professor Moyas stat1/stat2 classes and he was great! He really takes time to help you whether it be homework questions or questions about the material he has no issue going over anything. I would highly suggest taking his courses!

I took Stats II with Professor Moya and he is a very fair professor. He provides a moderate amount of homework but it is FOR YOUR BENEFIT! Professor Moya will take as much time as you need in order to understand something and will stop to the class to help answer your question so everyone benefits from the answer. A+++ Professor.

Prof. Moya knows his Statistics and cares whether or not you know it by the time class is done. He makes it relevant by using real world scenarios and will take the time to make sure you understand the subject. He cares about his students and the subject, and you, in turn, care about proving to him you listened during class. He's just awesome!

Great guy, awesome teacher. Had for MSD200 & MSD201 (stat1&2) ... liked both ... did well in both. Textbooks can make things seem really complicated, Victor Moya makes it understandable. Do the homework ... do it multiple times ... practicing will help a lot for any tests. If you have issues with any homework problems he is very helpful.

I really enjoyed taking Professor Moya's Stat class this summer. He equipped me to apply what I learned in class at my work. He challenged us to think critically but also had the ability to put things in layman's terms for people like me. I took Stat I in Spring & Stat II in the Summer. I had put off these Stats classes for as long as I could. I'm glad I got Prof Moya is wonderful. He made the class seem EZ. He broke it down so you could understand it. He assigns a lot of HW but it is for practice bcuz quizzes and test are based on HW. Do you HW, show up to class, you'll pass

Professor Moya is one of those rare professors who actually cares about his students. I took him in the Spring for MSD 200 and then took MSD 201 with him over the summer. He is easily reached outside of the classroom through email and responds quickly. He gives a decent amount of homework but it is for YOUR benefit. Do the HW and you will get and A

But if you care about his class he will care about you. Make sure you STUDY though. His tests are not easy and there are not a lot of problems so if you get more than three wrong you fail

Moya helps and goes the extra mile to ensure all of his students pass. He knows what he's talking about and is always willing to clarify. He's definitely there for all students. As long as you don't give him an attitude and constantly question his methods you'll do well. Always do the methods he shows in class on tests, no matter what he says.

Moya is amazing! He attempts with connecting with his students. He has his own tutors which were always willing to help! Do your homework, and study for your tests. Those 2 are the only grades. He doesn't "baby" his students, he tells them what is outside in the real world. I will never forget his life lessons. TAKE MOYA FOR MATH!!!!

Moya was probably the only professor I've ever had that actually truly cares about you learning the material. He would actually teach the class instead of expecting you to teach yourself. Moya is one of the few professors at Rider who actually care about their students. He makes class extremely fun and easy to to understand. If you don't take him for Stats then you're missing out!

This course was challenging but definitely doable. I also found that I enjoyed learning stats, it's fun. Pay attention and do the homework because the practice of homework problems is what makes the concepts stick. Professor Moya is very fair and makes sure you understand what you are doing. I hope to have him again for my next stats course.

Professor Moya was easily one of the best Professors of my first college semester. He really tried to give his students the best grade possible and was very flexible on grading. Alternative options were always available for struggling students and as long as you pay attention, try hard, show improvement he will see to it that you get a good grade.

I have struggled with math my whole life. This professor is willing to go over anything as many times as you need until you understand. He wants you to pass and be able to succeed in the following courses. He does everything he can to get you a good grade. If you struggle with math he is for you, he will help you learn and pass with a B or up.

He is a great and funny professor he is a little hard to understand but he is a easy A. You can not miss classes because there is a quiz every class he is a professor you always wanted.

I really enjoyed Professor Moya this semester but I do definitely regret missing some days of class. If you want to pass try to be there when you can and make sure you do the homework assigned, it really helps! Also, if you have an SI in the class make sure to go to sessions if you think you need the help!

Mr. Moya has really helped me and inspire me to never give up during a test. I got a bad grade on a test multiple times but Mr. Moya told me to never give up and I got a B for the first time.
