EASY A I EVER GOT IN MY LIFE. HIS LECTURES ARE VERY CLEAR AND INTERESTING. THE TESTS ARE ESSAYS BUT HE GRADES THEM EASILY.
he's so funny and nice. Easy A.. but you'll learn so much in this class.. if you are willing to. you'll go on field trips and love the class..
my criticism of him is that he's too easy. i know that sounds weird, but you do not have to work for an A in that class at all.
Great Professor, I was an international student, so I didn't know much about U.S. history. But now with Mr Nebrida's help I know about U.S History
MAN I HATE HISTORY! But Nebrida's class was such a cool class to take. I would take him again in a heart beat!
I MAY ONLY SAY THAT THIS CLASS IS ONE OF THE EASIEST CLASS IN THE COLLEGE. THIS TEACHER IS AWESOME. EASYEASYEASY THIS IS THE WRITE WORD.
its harder to fail than to pass his class...his lecture is good, not boring like some other history teachers. i'm an international student and i got A in his class! easy A 2
Great instructor. He knows US history very well. You basically just have to do the readings and some easy assignments he assigns. He is really humorous in a way whenever he explains stuff in his lecture. Exams are straightforward easy.
This guy really knows U.S. history. His class is straight forward, their is no way you can fail. All exams consist of his lecture and reading. His grading system is too easy. Just know your history event dates, and you'll fly through the exams.
--- Obviously most/all of the stuff written on this page has to be by Mr. NEB HIMSELF!!! As far as I can remember from my experience he is not a particularly bad instructor or evil person, but without any doubt he is VERY FAR from being THAT good!!
Nebrida is the man. Easy, easy ,easy, easy, easy, and easy. Come to the class and listen to his stories, then review the notes a bit(essay test but easy). There is your free A. And i am not Nebrida. hey you down there. what is your problem kid?
he's pretty okay for a history teacher... the lectures are kinda boring sometimes although you have to be prepared to answer when he calls you... but even if his tests were essays, he still gives you credit for answering it... so don't leave it blank!!!
Very good teacher works with his students. All test essay questions. Stick to lecture notes and study guide you will do fine. Has a good sense of humor I definetly recommend him.
This guy is super! take his class
excellent teacher. study well and get A. about half the class gets A
Excellent, knowledgeable, and definitly PERSONABLE. Makes class fun and interesing. Highly recommend him.
He's a really nice guy and his tests are especially easy! They may be essays but they sure are easy as pie!Especially if you're really good in English, though you don't have to be. Always participate and never leave anything blank in his test. EASY A!!
Victor made history fun & interesting. His 3 tests involve essays & multiple choice, but no need to fret cause study guides are provided prior to the exam. Jokes are also his weapon of choice... take him & you'll receive a satisfying 'A.'
nice and very responsible. participation, attendance and paying attention in class are very important. most homework is reading. tests are not very hard if studied review sheet
easy A; no A? you must be too lazy or you're retarded :p
Fun and easy teacher... I didn't even have to buy the book and i got an A in his class, just remember everything he said in LECTURE and you'll be fine for the essays. But if u can't BS simple facts about US history u should buy the book so you can participate
He is the nicest and sweetest Professor at PCC. I really enjoyed his class. Layed back and easy- going. Read your book, take good notes and you should do fine. His lectures are very interesting and they help you remember the facts. Very personable. and a real gentleman.I highly recommend him. Bye
I love this professor. He is so good. Very well prepared everytime. His lectures are the best! He understandst students need. You will get and A if you study and you deserve it. He is a fair teacher....
Very EASY!His test are mostly essays, but as long as you write something, he will give you credit. Lectures are fun, great personality, open minded, easy-going and laid back. Gives extra credit. Most of the class got A or Bs. Take him, and you won't regret it!
A very nice teacher. He is just the one whom the person talked about right before me. Highly recommended.
Professor Nebrida is an excellent teacher. He is very fair, patient and I really learned a lot from his class. I highly recommend his classes!!
Take this class. I recommend an intersession simply b/c it is shorter, however, the agenda is not compact at all. Essay test w/ some multiple choice and extra credit worth up to 10 percent of your grade.
He is a good teacher. The tests are easy, and he offers a lot of extra credit. You will learn alot in his class and earn an easy A. Be prepared to be call on for answers. In addition, he make the class interesting and as easy as possible
Great teacher and great person. Fun class and you'll learn a lot. Be sure to take advantage of the extra credits, they can lift your grade up by a whole letter grade. Do not leave essays blank on test. Try and you'll get some points.
good guy, passionate teacher, and he's interested in discussing ALL sides of the story. one of my favorite teachers at pcc.
Great teacher. Really passionate about history and he definitely knows what he's talking about. He gives really good study guides for all his tests. Be prepared to answer questions because he loves people to participate in the lecture. Highly recommended!
If only we could have more teachers like him! He made time go buy so quick, he teaches history like a story that keeps you wanting to know more. As long as you get the essence of the chapters and answer the essays with actual dates you will get an "A in his class.
One of the best teachers Ihave had here at P.C.C. He wants you to succeed and will do his best to make the information clear and let you know what he expects. There is always extra credit if you needit! Very fair and interesting teacher. He makes history cool!!!!!!!!!!
Mr. Nebrida is one of the most caring professors I have ever encountered. He truly goes out of his way to ensure student success and satisfaction. He is always approachable and will reward effort and improvement with fair and unambiguous grading. Do yourself a huge favor and do not miss the opportunity to take his class.
He's so EASY!!! You don't even really have to read the book. Studyguide rovided before tests lets you know what's on the test. And if ure smart enough, u could already tell what questions he will ask. He's funny too! Ask him to tell you about Tupac's death and he'll act it out! LOL! Lots of class participation though.
Nebrida is by the far the best professor to take history with. If he teaches it, it will be fun, and you'll get an A. Guaranteed! Tests are multiple choice, matching, and a couple essays. No worries though cause there is always a study guide given before each test. Effin sweet. [A][J]
Simply Amazing! :)
Absolutely amazing professor. Makes history fun and real. Just listen to his lectures and that is all you need to get an A in the class. His tests are mostly essays and 'relationships'. He makes you exercise your critical thinking skills. You might learn to love history after his class just like me! A+++++ Professor!
Definitely the BEST! NO comparisons. His class is a pleasure. His lectures are very interesting. He'very personable and approachable. He really cares about his students and will help you if you need it. Easy going COOL GUY. Study take notes and you'll get an A. Sweet,Considerate & Charming. I totally recommend him over all other History Professors.
If you wanna take History with an awesome teacher, THIS IS THE ONE. Very helpful, and tells it how it is. You'll walk out remember dates, that u probably never intended to memorize. He prepares you well for questions, and exams in this class.
very hilarious. he teaches well but what he writes on the board are like one worded things that won't be helpful. so its best just to pay attention
very cool teacher... he was so awesome. definitely one of the best teachers to actually LEARN from.. he teaches in such a way that you actually remember dates!!
He is a very easy teacher, not a boring teacher for a history teacher. Only 3 test throughout the term. Barely give out hw and not a lot of reading to do as well, only read the one he cover in class and your do great. He also give extra credit too, that so awesome.
His test is not hard, but he's lecture is not that clear. Overall is easy.
Mr. Nebrida is a very nice professor. Test will only cover what has been lectured. There is rarely H.W. Test consist of 2 or 1 essay question (Which is a lot easier when it comes to History) and about 10 multiple choice.
best teacher ever~! one of the coolest history teachers you'll ever have.
what a nice man! he presents the facts the way they are without his own propoganda...i like that! tests constist of essays. if you are good at writing and remembering basic facts you'll do well. took him in winter... one of the best classes i have taken at pcc

History is so boring, but Mr. Nebrida makes the history interesting to learn. He's so enthusiastic in teaching. Played a couple videos in the class, gave some extra credits that will surely boost ur grade. His tests aren't that hard if u listen to him and take a good note. Also, be prepare to answer his questions, or else u'll lose some points >.>
dudes, his easy in teaching, and his always helping stundents out, what ever you get, he'll give you a better grade, thanks professor Nebrida, your the best.
Best history teacher ever.

very nice guy, he's kinda funny which makes the class kind of interesting. overall not too bad, pretty easy grader too.
if you do not like to talk in the class, do not pick him, because he will chose random people to answer questions, and if you don't know the question he will take points away. attendance is mandatory. he will drop your grade if you do not show up. and his tests consist of essays and dates you need to remember.
for the online quiz. suxx.. 25 questionS needed to finish in 30 minutes.. the Questions were incrediblely difficult...how can others get an A...Tell me the secret!!
Very helpful. He reviews with you the chapters before testing you (quizz only 4 questions). He also gives you additonal extra points for every online comment. Good teacher, he really cares about his students.
(24B/7B)This professor is great, he teaches you the basics and the extremes, you really need to read the books, because it tells you the overall picture of what his teching you. Just be a "college student" and do the work and read the book!
Very easy class if you read the book and listen to the lecture. He practically gives you the answers to the essay questions prior to the in class test. And online test is basically timed open book test.Plus he gives plenty of extra credit opportunities. If you discipline yourself to read, you'll get an easy A.
Victor Nebrida does a great job teaching a VERY large class (with the help of great TAs like Scott) I liked his method & style. An easy "A" if you can write a good essay. He lectures before every exam & leaves the questions loose-ended so it's hard to fail, unless you don't read the material or listen in lecture.
Professor Nebrida's lecture is very funny. In his class you must read the text book then you will get a good grade. He give extra credit do help a lot.Take him you will understand history.
Prof. Nebrida is the best history teacher ever, he is very funny while teaching, and i really enjoyed the class. he has bad writings, but it doesn't matter bcoz it doesn't help that much. to get an A you must read the the book! the topics that are included in the study guide that he's gonna give whenever there is a test. i got an A..come to class!!
Hes funny, intersting, and makes history fun!! hes not easy but not extremely hard. attennd class, take notes, do the readings and you will pass. I dont think he evers fails people as long as you try.
Professor Nebrida is pretty cool, but sometimes i find that he goes off tangents sometimes when he lectures. I guess its alright because he makes it somewhat interesting :). Not a really a hard grader. I sure do like him a lot better than the last history i took.
Awsome teacher! Kick back and educational
Before I took this class, I came to this site to check out people's rating.Prof. Nebrida is fun but the exam turns out being hard. If you want a "A", it's impossible. But if you want B or passing grades, this class is for you.
his class is essay, just three quizes, and thats it.but if your major is history, his class is not the best choice.if you just want to get an A,take him,if you want to really learn sth.he is not the best choice.
He is such a great teacher! Clear and organized notes! Exams aren not to bad. Just study, read, takes notes and you will be fine
Mr Nebrida = Great Teacher, only thing he wants, for his students to participate in class, if he asks stuff, raise your hand, even if you dont know the answer, make a good guess, read the book for Tests, short essay tests, but its fair, its a history class its suppose to be a little challenging, and 3 different EX. Credit's, Thanx Mr. N -RA
I took Nebrida during the summer session. Class was easy as long as you pay attention and take good notes. Tests were all essay tests! If you read and pay attention in class you should be fine.
Nebrida is just simply awesome. He is funny, and his class is also pretty easy if you read and pay attention to his lectures. To get an A in his class, you have to be determined, but it's not hard at all! I had fun in his class and also learned tons of history.
I don't like hsitory, but I have to say I really love this class and don't want to leave. Taking good notes are very helpful. Be participated, discuss the class content with him, and you will do great.
I hate history.. cause it's really hard dealing with the memorizing.. but he made it fun. I like the way he tells stories for history, and he is also funny, and he will repeat whatever he says if you want ask.. just take notes, and you'll easily pass the class.. I mean it..
He has an agenda. If you're okay having that shoved down your throat, cool. He knows his stuff and the class is super easy.
Not a good teacher, and not the kind of teacher that does everything he can to help kids get good grades. the whole semester there are only 100 possible points so if you miss one point on every exam, you are down to a B. Very boring lectures and even more boring textbook readings. Essay tests are impossible
He is not fond of emails so if you expect a teacher to respond to your emails... this isn't the one for you. Hardly gives extra credit. Class attendance is mandatory if you don't want to fail
Mr. Nebrida's history 7B ITV was very awesome. Tests all written, No MC. different choices to choose from which I think is fairly easy. Meet only 6 times thruout semester. do some reading a couple days b4 the class, memorize sum key facts, his lecture will clarify everythin b4 the test, do ur reading, work hard. Getting an A is no problem.
His itv is awesome and easy to get A. Written tests, no multiple choice. Read yr books and listen his lecture carefully before the tests. His lecture really helps for the test and the time passes really fast when listening to his lecture. I highly recommend him for yr history 7B itv.
take him easy A. just make sure you study a week before the test. he gives you what is gonna be on it the week before. i got a B but i didnt even try plus i never read the textbook.
I took his ITV class which only met 6 times throughout the semester. Online quiz for every meeting which were relatively easy with some tough questions. There were in class exams for every meeting which requires you to put in depth detail about each section to get an A(which was pretty hard)Although to help he included a strong lecture that helped.
I took Prof. Nebrida's ITV class. Just read the assigned chapters, do good in the online and in-class quizzes and you'll do fine. The discussion every meeting before the in-class quiz is extremely helpful. Highly recommended! Got an A...
Awesome teacher. I took him in the fall. His lectures before the test really help so pay attention. I never watched the dvd so don't buy it just buy the textbooks. Make sure you do all the extra credit he gives to you because its very helpful. Highly recommend this course.
Pretty good class all around. Lectures are fun, tests are easy, and he gives plenty of extra credit opportunities. Very ideal course if you have a hectic schedule (it only meets 5 or 6 times during the semester).
If you are tring to take his ITV class and you are not confident at remeber every detail on the book, don't take him! I trust other comments about him grading so easy but was fail to receive the grade I expect to get. His inclass essay quiz grade so weird, he expects you to remember all the weird date and place and even himself couldn't remember.
very interesting class, easy if you read and watch the dvds. the professor make the class interesting and not boring. will recommend him with friends.
a very passionate and funny professor in pcc. His class looks like comedy and drama, he will do all kinds of interesting actions to pay you attention. He expects you to remember the specific texts in book, make sure to read book carefully.
Nebrida is hands down the best history professor at PCC. He keeps class interesting and entertaining by joking around while remaining on topic. Your grade will depend on 2 tests, 1 final, and class participation. Overall, the tests are somewhat easy. However, if your grade is somewhat lacking, he does offer several extra credit assignments.
An interesting professor. Prof. Victor asked us to join a demonstration which we could earn 3 extra credits!! We have to drive to Long Beach at 3:00AM!!!!! If you want to challenge yourself then take this class.
You'll love his hybrid 7B class. He makes a long class very very interesting. SIMPLY READ THAT LITTLE TEXT BOOK to get an A. Actually read it and you'll feel like a bawzz when you get your grades
I'm talking his ITV class, it was about 170 people big class, we only meet 6 times in this semester. In class test was hard, you have to write 4 pages essay ! And his TAs are grading it. After the second meet half of the class dropped ! I read the book and got 4/10 no joke super hard class
The TA wants you to fail the class. DO NOT take his ITV class. test are grade by the kids (TAs).
I had taken this class with Cairo and his class was hard! Nebrida is pretty laid back and a really funny guy. I hated that the class was only on fri for 3 hours! But it wasn't so bad. He goes over everything during lecture so take good notes. I never even bought the book but I like history so I know my stuff. I got a A. He gives some extra cred.
Took his ITV class for 6 weeks during summer. Taking good notes during lecture is crucial. Tests are based on in class discussions. He guides you through main points of study and gives a lot of options for the in class essay quiz. I enjoyed his class and learned a lot during in class discussions.

Good professor. Took the ITV summer class so we met 6 times a week. Grade was based on 2 in class exams, 5 quizzes and 1 final online multiple choice test. I do not exaggerate when I say that all I ever did was skim through the reading and pay close attention to his discussions and that was enough to get me an A. Gives chance for 5 EC pts too.
I took Victor Nebrida's 7B ITV class over the summer. This class will actually teach you history in context. I am not a huge history fan, but I did pay attention in class, took notes, studied, and got an A. People who downrate this professor are angry that they did poorly or had to work for an A. Take advantage of the practice 'relationship' quiz.
I personally never used the book and got an A on most of his test based on his lectures right before the test. Assigned a couple of extra credit reports. TA's were annoying but if you really needed help they were alright.
He expects you to self teach yourself from the book. In class he goes over nothing related to the book. His TAs grade the work really harshly. He jumps from one subject to another without some sort of transition.
Nebrida is a great. Tests are based on class lectures. He makes lectures very fun. He lets you exactly what will be on the exam. There is no way anyone can fail unless they do not pay attention to his lectures.
This class was one of the best I have taken. Mr. Nebrida makes you get interested in history and every class is funny. The tests are all open answer, but you have to be very detailed.
Received a B because of his harsh grading during tests. The class where the t.a grades them apparently had an easier time because my friend who took it receives almost perfect in every tests.
This was a hybrid in person/online class and was accelerated. I found Nebrida corny but hilarious, which I think is really the secret to any good teacher. Like most professors he's an in your face liberal. Most of the class seemed centered on how bad America is. He gives a fair amount of extra credit, I got a 5% boost for it. Study!
Not a good professor as everyone says. He has crappy hand writing for example when he spells out California it looks like Cafeteria. He is unorganized. Lacks on grading. He will burn you out if you put silly answers on the test/exam. He is not clear at all on teaching this subject. It's most likely sleepy time for you if you pick this class.
Study topics on canvas aren't even asked on the exams, so don't bother studying your brains out on them. What IS on the exams are in his hour and a half lectures right before tests. Extremely boring unless you're attentive . If you can't remember dates of eventswrite an essay about definition words, dont take this class (thats all u do).
worked hard for this class and still got a B... such a tough grader. Very picky, and marks you down for every detail that is missing. Every point is basically a percentage for his grading system...
Prof. Nebrida is one of the hardest professors I've had. The grading scale is based on points, which are accumulated with 3 exams. The exams are based on terms that have to be followed by specific dates and how they are related to each other. If you aren't specific not the exams, you will not pass.
He makes History fun. There were many lazy international students who would talk during class. They still wanted to receive an A, even tho they didn't understand the class. He would sometimes have a few students who would ask questions after class. They basically were contesting their grades. Hahaha!!!! They were told that their writing unreadable
He is funny but his class is boring and his writing is unreadable. The tests are not base from the study guide... Review the note before the class bc he will ask every students to say what they have learn in the last class. Difficult to get an A bc the grade is base on tests and class participation, few extra credits available.
Grade is based on 3 exams. You have to relate terms with each other. Lectures are straight forward and funny. Just take a lot of notes of what he says and writes on the board. He will give you a study guide before every exam. Follow it and you will be ok. He asks questions based on the chapters assigned. No book work or essays. Highly recommend.
Mr N is a nice professor but you really need to be good at history or study a lot to do good on his tests. I studied a lot and barely got a C :/. Only 3 tests to study for no essays or homework. Very knowledgeable guy and is there to answer any questions. Would take again!
