Wow! Mr O. is an awesome teacher. I'd reccomend him to my friends. He's very well organized and the online cds really helped. The work book was the easiest thing to do. The class wasn't even hard. I liked the class a lot! Just do the work and pass the exams and you'll pass his class. It's that simple.

I took the online class and yes the book was expensive, but I did get an A! The tests are taken online and are not timed and there is one project where you write a letter to the appropriate gov. official, but it's a breeze! I don't know his teaching style, but at the orientation I had a feeling that his traditional class would be very interesting

the best possible teacher for a subject like political science. funny, engaging, and always knowledgable, one would be missing out if this class was taken with anyone else.

It is easy to get an B. But with a little work an A is also feasible. He is particular about the MLA format. But he makes the class interesting and fun.

at first you think that he is going to be a-kick-in-the-a** but then you realize that he is good after all... and when you think you are going to get a B... all of a sudden you get an A... he is awesome!!!

Professor Obasohan ... I enjoyed his class! He expects a lot out of his students not because he is a difficult instructor but because he would like his students to take the class (and education in general) seriously. He is very eager to teach. He is also hilarious! Guaranteed laughs in class! I wasn't really interested in political science but he made it appealing. His accent may make it difficult to sometimes understand what he is saying but he makes sure he repeats himself to stress/clarify a point.

Though the class tends to get a little methodical towards the end, it still is fun and you learn a great deal even though his way of teaching is a little militaristic. He is funny and his accent is cool to listen too. Just don't get on his bad side.

Mr. Obasohan is a GREAT professor! I took his 101 class in the Spring of 2011. He's very passionate about his teachings and funny as well. His lectures may seem a little long and can drag sometimes, but he makes up for it with his interesting stories and funny jokes. Participation is based on attendance, he will call on everyone on the roll, don't show up late and walk through the front door interrupting him or he will tackle you!

If you aren't taking a class with this guy, there's something wrong with you. I failed PoliSci fall 2008 but did so much better with this guy. Tests are literally the study guide that's super easy to do. I never paid attention in class, just worked on study guides during lectures instead. If you fail his class, there's something wrong with you.

Class is pretty easy IF YOU ACTUALLY DO THE READING. His class helps somewhat with tests, but most of it comes from the workbook. He is a pretty good teacher though, but if you have hard classes take someone else. His class requires you do the reading and if you can't do it you won't do well. Weekly online assignments take anywhere from 30-45 minutes. He gives 1 easy extra credit assignment, 2 if you take his class during an election year. (You get extra credit for voting).

He's a pretty straight forward teacher. His exam/quiz questions are copied and pasted from the workbook you need to by. Online homework every week about a video and you answer 5 questions about it. Literally, Quizlet has every single one of his tests, quizzes, and HW assignments

You MUST buy the book. His study guide was mandatory in our class; all the test/quiz questions were in the guide! Pay attention to lectures and read the text for the answers. If you study you'll certainly pass the class! Also, don't mess around and play with your phone; he WILL see you and yell at you. He'll call on you to answer questions.

Professor Victor is amazing and his class is very easy . Although, lectures are heavy they are not boring instead they are interesting. As long as you study sample questions assigned you will pass the test. The test are in the exact wording of the sample questions.

When they say participation matters, it MATTERS. If you're absent, he'll literally call you. He does not post grades so you have to ask him. I asked him a lil past mid semester, but he only had two tests on so I didn't really know my grade. It left me on my toes the whole semester, but I still got an A. Overall, he made lecture fun and interesting.

A majority of the assignments and workbook questions are easy. He uses the exact questions off the study guide but would throw a couple questions here and there outside of the workbook. Very funny and helpful during class. One thing I did not like is that he didn't use canvas so that you can see your posted grades. :(

Professor O. was my first teacher in college, he was amazing you just listen during class and study the sample questions you will do great. He's funny and nice you will be called on so pay attention. POL101 was definitely my favorite class last semester. Professor Obasohan's lectures are both educational and entertaining. You will definitely need to read, as he will ask you to answer some comprehension questions. There's also online assignments, which are super easy. I highly recommend taking this class. Easy A if you do the reading and work.

I would definitely take his course again, it is very easy and everything on the test is 100% in the textbook, and he is very understanding. One of the best professors in Cerritos.

I took this class for Summer of 2021, it was always an easy A. Do your homework and test, youll pass. Keep in mind, it was an online class. Although it was easy, I dont think hes that accessible outside of class. One time I ask him a question and he directed me to his syllabus. Annoying But, I passed with an A and I wasnt stressed.

Professor, if you are reading this. I want to thank you for being so awesome and knowledgeable. you are so flexible and caring. you have helped me get through a what seems to be a very intimidating course. you made it fun.

I took this course fully online over six weeks. Professor obasohan is very accommodating, especially considering the numerous technical difficulties we had experienced! I would definitely take another one of his courses!

Though my first semester in college, I can assure anyone that this will be one of your favorite professors (especially for poli sci majors)! I took his in person class and have practically no complaints. Make sure to show up to class and take notes. Lectures are always based on your reading. Easy A!

Professor had straight forward criteria for grading for his online summer class. Allow yourself at least 2 hours for his tests if you are balancing other activities with this class. Easy to balance class with working if you work on homework early in the week. Videos were interesting and educational.

You have to buy access to Pearson MyLab to do the work. In class, he summarizes the chapter and sometimes calls on students. Be ready to answer just in case. Here's what you'll do every week: watch a video and answer five multiple choice questions about the video AND take an open book chapter test (25 questions). The work is online. Use the book!

Pretty easy course, there is a meeting at the beginning of the course and he explains all of the assignments. Just homework(he calls them quizzes) tests, and one project at the end, all fairly easy. Just make sure to read the material. Work is done on Pearson/MyLab.

Pretty easy course! You have to buy access to the Pearson MyLab though. Every week there are assignments that consist of videos and questions after. As for the exams, just read the textbook on Pearson and you will do fine. There is also a project & SLO quiz at the end of the course which was fairly easy. Overall, I recommend taking this class :)

I loved Obasohans poli sci 101 class! He is extremely passionate in the subject and you can tell through his lectures. He is always willing to drop the lecture to answer your questions. Weekly tests but they are fairly easy. As long as you do well on those tests you are sure to pass.

I think this is the easiest class I've taken at Cerritos. All you have to do is watch short videos, complete a quiz, and finish a 25-question quiz each week. The questions aren't tough, and you can easily find answers on online. The only downside is paying $80 for Pearson, which hurts my wallet lol but overall ez way to earn GE credit

Impossible to fail this class. Hes so silly and the entire semester I did NO in-class work- simply sat and listened to him talk which i loved. 2-3 simple assignments due every week and yeah hes usually 10-20 minutes late but why is that bad? This let me always show up late to class too (more sleep). you have to pay $80 but its so worth it trust

Professor Obasohan used Pearson for all course work, its an extra cost but the structure is really nice. Does 2 video assignments and one test each week. All work is opened on Mondays and due by Sunday, tests are open book and the videos are fairly interesting. Do the work and you can easily get an A.

Victor Obahosen was a good professor. He does all work on PearsonMyLab, which consists of one 25 multiple-choice questions each week and 1 or 2 short videos. I have to say his lectures could be dry sometimes but could be funny. He also doesn't like it when you email him about the project assignment (very easy btw), but overall I'd rate him a 7.5/10

Professor Obasohan is passionate and makes class fun. He assigns topics for students to define the next day, which keeps lessons clear and straightforward. As long as you show up and put in effort, you'll pass easily. He makes the class simple. Keep in mind I took this class during summer. There is no reason why you shouldn't receive an A.

Professor Obasohan is such a cool and caring professor. He is clearly passionate about the material. He would often joke around and was pretty funny. There is literally no way to fail this class as long as you do the online homework and weekly quizzes. By far one of the easiest classes I've taken at Cerritos!

Honestly, this was my favorite and easiest online course I've taken. He used an outside website for the coursework Pearson, which costs about $80, but it's worth it. There were no discussion boards. Each chapter just required watching 1–2 short videos, about 5–10 minute's, answering 5 questions, and then taking a 25-question quiz on the chapter.
