Such an awesome professor. He made this subject really easy to understand and I wish I could take him again for accounting 2. He's super cool and funny and passionate about accounting. He wants everyone to do well, so just take his class you won't regret it.

Simply put, Trippetti was the best professor I ever had. He's certainly had a great career in the industry and he makes everything easy. Gives tons of practice for you to get comfortable with the material. It's a shame that he doesn't teach higher-level accounting outside of ACCTG 1 and 2. He's the reason I want to pursue acct. TAKE HIM!

I took him for acct 1 and 2 and got an A both times. He might seem a little monotone and boring at first, but if you pay attention he is really insightful and will help you to understand the material the best you can. Very experienced accountant and the online tests aren't too hard. If you take him for acct 1 I would fs recommend taking 2 with him.

Professory Trippetti is by far one of the best teachers I have ever taken. He is funny, caring, and teaches concepts well. He was CFO for LAgear so he gives a lot of personal business insight. He also shares a lot of resources to help students succeed like events and special certifications. Grading is clear, tests are fair. He is an absolute gem.

Easily my favorite Professor at SMC. Incredibly kind and caring guy. Definitely has his favorites in the class but if you take notes and study the material youll be chilling. The class grade is mostly based on the 3 tests and final, so be very prepared for those if you wanna get a good grade in the class. Make sure not to miss class.

This professor has been one of the worst I've had. He tends to read straight out of the book. Often makes mistakes when giving an example and confuses students. Has a nasty attitude with students over trivial things. I recommend that you look for another professor unless you are solid with accounting because this isn't algebraic math.

The prof is not great as the rating says he is. He's changed. He has a nasty attitude for everything. He reads straight out the book and gives side notes which are keynotes cause the book has missing info which he calls out. One good thing is that he provides plenty of material to study from in the book. STUDY that material ahead of time to pass.

Professor Trippetti is my favorite professor I have ever had. I took him for both ACCTG 1 and 2, and in both classes I had such a great experience. Incredibly caring professor, wants everyone to understand the material and do well. Class is mostly centered around your 4 exam grades, so make sure to do well on those.

Loved Professor Trippetti. He usually assigns 1 homework a week that shouldn't take longer than 30-40 mins. There are 3 exams and final which isn't cumulative (: There are also a couple of in-class assignments. The material isn't hard but he does a lot of examples in class. If you participate he will like you. He also makes bad jokes in class lol

First of all, he can get rude and likes certain people. He claims that the work "should not take long" which does not work for beginners. He reads straight from the textbook and goes on tangents that bore super easily. Although, this is a college class and students SHOULD study. Put effort when taking this class. DO NOT miss a class.

The funniest professor I've ever taken and the richest. His class doesn't seem boring as he knows how to make it fun by being sarcastic. He has a lot of work experience in accounting and explains the materials very well. Tests are heavy, and there is weekly online homework.

would not recommend. His lectures don't make a lot of sense, gives a lot of homework, and very strict about attendance. Does not give extra credit opportunities and you can only have 3 absences and if you miss a class it would be impossible to catch up. His lectures are very boring and he teaches straight out the book. Do not take his class

Prof. Trippetti is truly a gem! Don't let all the negative reviews about him scare you. He is hilarious, makes jokes in class all the time & he wants you to do well. Homework isn't too heavy, but be prepared to study for the tests. He does give out study guides and allows cheat sheet. 5/5 professor!!

My biggest mistake was taking his class. I should've gone with Professor Lopez. He's super strict about every little point and doesn't really help when students are trying to improve their grade. He always says “It's not fair to other students,” but like who are these “other students”? if students are asking for extra credits just give it to them!
