She is a bit off but, I think she is a gr8 professor. She made the subject intresting and fun. She broke the reading down to language we use everyday. And for anyone that doesnt like her, you are just looking for more work to do.

I never like english classes or lit classes, but she is the best Professor i have ever had. She is very fun, interesting, eassy, and best grader. Dont listen to anyone who said she is not. Trust me and take her, she is very very great.

She is the greatest professor there is at John Jay. She picks extremely interesting books (5 of them) which are only about 100-150 pages, except for Helter Skelter. On the essays, you can chose any topic on the books you want and she will let you re-do them or bring them in early for her to look at and comment. I wish she taught more classes!

This Professor is the nicest professor I've ever had.She doesn't mind talking about any subject and allows rewrites for all of her assignments. Besides all of this, she doesn't give a final and instead accepts a 6-7 pg. final paper on any subject. The best Eng 102 course... take her class and find out! Oh yeah and she's HOT!

She's pretty awesome, can be lenient, but don't push it. The class is mostly discussion, so speak up, its boring if you don't. She's as the definition of helpful. Just do your papers and participate.

This Professor was fantastic. She is extremely happy and helpful. Class is very hands on. Participation is a must. She puts you on the spot with a lot of questions in class, in front of everyone. This class taught me a lot about myself. Very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

she was the best english professor i ever had! she is very funny and an good grader. Papers werent longer then 4 pages and you had lots of topics to choose from and she also helped with you with the paper if you needed to. you should def pick her she is a genuine person and very understanding if you are absent late or need to leave early. An easy class, reading material is necessary. Attendance as well, participation is not to demanding. Very easy as long as papers are handed in on time.She is nice a little sarcastic but good topics discussed.

Great teacher! So much fun. The texts required for class are far from boring. Only 4 required essays, no finals or midterm, and easy grader. I don't think there could be a better teacher, need I say more?

Bond was an excellent professor; she was always very charismatic in the wee hours of the morning. She was clear with what she wanted and was a fair grader, picked interesting topics and had great books. She also brought many fun group activities and had great class discussions. Take her as a English professor you won?t regret it.

Great professor who enjoy her subjects. She is very fun and interactive with students. You will never fall asleep in her class. I didn't like English before professor Bond because of all the readings and writing. But professor Bond assigns interesting things to read and write about. She shows videos and have us do group projects.

Victoria Bond is a godsend. I took her for 101 and 201 through ISP and I looked forward to our classes. She's brilliant. She's always ready to aid her students in bettering their understandings of concepts. There's always students waiting in line to visit her office because she is just a delight to be around. She's also drop dead gorgeous.

Took her freshman year, no regrets. Shes super active in class and energetic even if it's 8am lecture. Looks out for students and does everything to help you pass.

I am currently taking her 8 A.M. class and even though it is extremely early she keeps you engaged and listening. She is always willing to help and is very specific of what she wants done. Don't understand something just ask and she will specify. Would take her class again.

She's an easy grader, if you ever need help don't be afraid to ask, she's kind and exciting, nobody falls asleep in her class and she tries her best to get a response out of everybody. She's also open to new ideas, her assignments can also be changed if you have an interesting idea.

Took her my first semester. She loves what she does and is an author herself. Grading is VERY fair and great feedback. Very little homework. She loves for you to participate. Would definitely take her again; wanted her for 201. You will not regret her class at all but you do have to put in the work.

Professor Bond is without a doubt the best professor. She gives students good motivation, and she has very good energy. WOULD TAKE AGAIN, but sadly I have already taken ENG101 and ENG201. She is a good professor and very friendly. Make sure you get your work in but the class is an easy A. She is pretty chill with grading but don't take advantage of that linency. For the final paper, you have an option to NOT write a paper and instead, make a powerpoint presentation, or record a video.

My class was a little weird, in terms of conversation. Our being hybrid-asynchronous could have aided that. But, Professor Bond made the best of it. She is an extremely helpful, and caring professor. BEST ENG 201 PROFESSOR, she gives very good feedback and I enjoyed her class overall. She doesn't take late assignments but it's easy to manage because she gives you enough time to finish them. She is very accepting, if you have questions she is open to hearing them.

All of the assignments you do for this class revolve around your English nonfiction narrative.

Had this professor for my 8am class and honestly this is the ONLY professor I've had for an 8am that I enjoyed going to. She is hilarious and energized, super understanding and extremely lenient with grading. Passing her class with an A is easier than failing her class, 100%
