She gives all the answers to her test questions the day before you're tested

This professor was awesome! She reviews all the tests the day before. she's extremely helpful and really wants her students to do well.

She is such an amzing teacher. The book is mandatory but she teaches really good. there 10 quizzes and 2 relfection papers but just go to class and listen. Plus she always have the students participate, suchs such an awesum teacher. i wont mind taking her again!!!!

This teacher is soo amazing. She always have the student participate and if you ever need help or someone to talk to, she is definitely always there.Textbook is a must. Shes sooooo helpful and wants all her students to pass and to be successful. i would take her for other classes definietly!! THIS TEACHER IS A MUST TAKE!!!!!

Prof. Brower cares about her students, she makes sure you understand the material, makes a few jokes every once and in a while, participation in the class; gradings are crystal clear, she takes some time to grade, but if you want to pass the class easy A.

This teacher is not too bad. Attendance is mostly mandatory although she does give you 5 allowable absences, which seems very fair to me. Book is mandatory and is used everyday. She is kind of boring and so is the material; sometimes she shows movies, which are also boring. She gives reviews for the tests with all the answers.

The class was somewhat difficult only because I don't know that much about government, but she made it doable. She was really nice and got people to speak to the class to make it interesting. There is a midterm, paper, and final. Study and try to do well on all three for a good grade. I would definitley recommend professor brower for anyone.

Fair class, you need your book. The only thing that I didn't like was everything was pure group work so I didn't learn much. But easy class, 1 paper and presentation. Overall you'll pass just show up. Midterm and final straight from class work so save it.

This professor is one of the best I ever had. I loved government before and she was always open to my new ideas. 10/10. Strongly recommend taking this class. She rarely gets upset and gets the class involved. The only thing that was annoying was when she makes everyone stand up. I never want too :)

Best teacher you can take. real easy class. her notes are the test and quizzes. only 2 test(midterm and final) 2 quizzes in between those. the rest is class attendence and typing the notes she gives. Take her if you can

Prof. Brower is one of the best teachers at Broward for sure. She is so nice and knows how to make everything she teaches more interesting. She gives out little homework assignments that need to be typed a couple of times (very easy) and grades them. Easy grades. If you study the homework assignments then you will for sure get good grades on exams.

Professor Brower is simply amazing. Her passion for what she does is impressive. I loved her class. I actually learned a lot about the government, our rights and the US Constitution. The required paper (5 pages) to write was not hard because she gives enough time and material to do great. She also helps students any time she can. TAKE HER!!!

She is a very nice person. Extremely easy quizzes and assignments as long as you know a little about government. You honestly don't really need a text book. She does talk forever. Even though my class was blended you could only miss 3 classes which was annoying. Midterm and final not that hard.

Professor Brower is an excellent teacher, she knows how to make the subject interesting, there are a lot of quizzes, however, they are true or false and fairly simple. She makes it hard to fail her class.

The class is not hard but you can make it hard on yourself. I took her 8 week course and loved it but didn't remember to check D2L everyday so I missed about 7 quizzes. If you simply go to class which is fun by the way and take good notes your guaranteed to pass. All it takes is effort I got a C in the class and literally missed out on 70 points.

My favorite professor at BC simply come to class participate it will be an easy grade if you pay attention and do the work. Lectures are long but very entertaining and keep your attention with up to date discussion topics. No one should get less than a B in this course just do the work and pass.

Professor Brower reminds me of that mom in every sitcom, she's super cool, super comical, and she puts so much passion behind her lectures that you will learn a thing or two for sure. Beware though that her class can get hard, especially if it's on an irregular schedule with only 2 months of class, everything will move really quick.

Such an important class. Learning about our most basic rights and about the foundation of our government: the US Constitution, was so interesting and enlightening. Professor Brower creates an environment where debates and discussions flourish. She will make you think twice about some issues. I definitely have changed my opinions about some things.

I just finish her class for an 8 week course and passed it with an B but easy A .She a great teacher, attendance is mandatory because she give notes. book is is needed, quizzes and assignment are soooooo easy. Conversation is engaging. She encourages participation and interaction with classmates, con for introverts. Had the blended class; very fast-paced. A lot of assignments due in close proximity with each other, with three major projects. Her quizzes are fairly easy and the midterm and final aren't too bad if you take good notes in class and review.

Professor Brower is absolutely amazing! When I needed help with the course, she was always there for me. Her class does include a group project, but you are only responsible for your own work. You will not be graded on what others from your group turn in. Also, her lectures are very interesting! Already signed up to take another course with her!

Pretty easy class overall, there's a group project in the first week. Show up to class every time and the teacher gives you the answers or things you need to know for the midterm and final. I had her for a 6 week course in the summer. Study the day before the test and do your homework assignments twice a week, and present your project and GET AN A!

Political Science really doesnt sound appealing to me, but Prof Browers lectures really make it interesting. Its an 8 week blended class so there is a lot of reading to do. You can tell shes really passionate about what shes teaching, her job, and her students success. And she knows her stuff to! Most of the class is project based.

Professor Brower is the best professor at Broward College! I've taken 3 classes with her (if I could, I would've taken a 4th one as well). Her lectures are absolutely amazing. I always looked forward to coming to her classes. As long as you study for the tests, you'll do great. There are also several Power Point projects, but I found those fun.

She's a bit scattered, but overall a decent teacher. She's fairly clear on what she wants from papers and presentations. For group presentations, she only grades you on your contribution, so if your teammates suck you are not penalized. She also tailors your presentation subjects to your career path to help make it more relevant.

Her classes were always fun to attend. Brower has a huge passion for what she teaches, and you can really see that through her lectures. The textbook was needed at time but honestly you can survive without it. The class is a very easy A as long as you complete the online quizzes and assignments on time. The midterm was online too!

Shes a great professor! She tends to go off on little tangents while shes lecturing but theyre engaging and fun! Her final was very easy just be sure to take notes because she allows a cheat sheet. And the midterm is an open book midterm online. Her assignments are fairly easy just be sure to turn them in on time!

Professor Brower is good at helping you understand things with her examples. Her only downfall is she isn't too organized so you're doing a lot of work at the last minute but everything is open from the beginning. 1 group presentation and 1 Individual. Group you're graded on your own part. Take her notes! It will be exactly the same on her exams.

Had her for two classes and were both easy As. She was a very fun and interactive professor. It might feel like she assigns a lot of work but if you do the bare minimum you can get an easy A. A great professor!

Her class is an easy A. Open book quiz and exam. 1 paper, 1 PowerPoint presentation where everyone who did it got full credit, and 1 chart. She will give some bonus for participation. All around easy class and cool subject matter.

Took blended with zoom and d2l. Nice lectures but still need to read at times. Easy assignments, quizzes, and tests. Gives study guide outline that you fill out to help with the two tests. One presentation with slides but only have to present for about a minute.

I took Professor Browers class remotely. She knows what shes talking about and is very good at teaching us the content. I recommend getting the textbook because it helps a lot, especially if youre taking an 8 week class and its fun to read if youre interested in Politics. I could access her in office hours and participation in class is a must.

Loved her lectures, she was very interactive & participation is key. There were very few assignments so be VERY careful to not miss any. Her vocabulary notes were very confusing to follow so honestly you would probably be better off taking your own notes. She's the most caring and understanding professor I've ever met.

Great professor, may get a little sidetracked sometimes but always stays inside of "politics". Also may give hints of personal ideology but is always open to discuss other ideas, and may bring some insight to people that have only seen politics through one ideological lense.

Professor Brower was very great. You don't get much assignments with her blended course, so stay on top of your work. Very energetic and hilarious for an 8am class. Extra credit is given. The paste of the class is fast, but durable. Participation matters in order to use notes on exams.

This proffesor personally helped me get into the program despite the fact I had tried to register too late so she is very caring. Her lectures are fun and having most of the work being submitted being online and come prepared to class. though she sometimes goes of on tangents, she'll get you the info u need to pass.

I took her for a shorter session so some chapters were taught in class and others on our own. She is very big participation! If you participate, she will reward you with using notes on test. Don't waste your money on the book it's not really needed. Biggest tip is to talk and ask questions. Be engaged.

THE BEST!!! I took the 6 week class and we had only 3 assignments, 3 quizzes, and 2 tests (midterm and final). You can take the quizzes whenever you want and she lets you use notes on the midterm and final. The assignments are super easy and doable and her lectures are so interesting. She is also very big on participation and attendance.

Session 2 was the best thing I ever did.We had three quizzes that we took at home. We had three assignments that took up to like 2 hours to do. We also were assigned a 2-4 Page paper. She did get off topic during lectures but still try to engage with her because she will let you use notes on your midterm and final! Don't need the book!

Came back to leave a Rate for her because she truly left an impact on me. I passed my FCLE today and I took her class two semesters ago. This was only my second attempt and although I studied on my own. I still recalled key phrases and statements she drilled into my brain during her lectures. She has a true passion for what she does and it sticks.

Amazing professor! The lectures were engaging and interesting. Participation is important to both you and the professor to retain the information for quizzes and tests. Attendance is mandatory, if you don't come you will miss out on good information for upcoming assignments or information about the next class. Great professor, highly suggest.

Professor Brower was a great teacher! Her in class lessons did get off topic sometimes, but the key to understanding would be to be in attendance. She is not a hard grader, as long as she can see that you tried and put effort towards understand the work, she will grade you accordingly. She was very kind and pleasant, and treated everyone the same.

Her class for POS2041 is only available as half-semester sessions so the workload can feel like a lot, but as long as you stay on top of everything, you will do just fine!! The only thing I can say is don't buy the textbook... she gave us the free online version but still told us to buy the hard copy, yet we never used it in class. Good luck!!

I highly recommend Professor Brower! Her lectures were really broad at times almost off topic. Other than that the workload is really manageable as a session 2 class. 3 assignments, 3 quizzes, and 2 tests. Just study for the test and keep up with the work, you'll be fine.

Professor Brower is a phenomenal teacher. I read some the reviews before taking her class, so I was aware of the type of learning environment I was getting into. I would say just show up, do the work and you'll be fine. All the assignments are already open so you can speed through them right away. I took the summer course and I would recommend it!

I took this class in 2023 and it was a later starting class but it was still an average workload. I did well on assignments, got a mid low score on the final but still passed with an A! Shes a very good teacher, speaks on the topics we need to be engaging in.
