don't do it
dooon't think about it
She is the worst bio professor in the dept. She teaches undergraduates like they are graduate students. She erases her powerpoint slides the day she lectures, so you cant print out ones that you missed. Do not take this class with this professor.
Good Qualities: Speak English. Office door open. Bad Qualities: Thinks she's teching humanities. Speaks in jargon, too fast. Imp. facts: Exam cumulative. PT slides online 24 hrs. Must circle all correct answers for MP Ques. Lots of rsch.paprs.If 3 right answers, 2/3 correct circles is considered wrong. No partial credit
its okay for a professor to be hard on students, but not unfair. meller is unfair. her grading is very subjective. so if u get essay ques. wrong and argue with her, she will always be right. she's probabbly one of the bottom 10% of wsu bio professors. don't take her class if u want a A or B.
Where do I begin? This teacher appears to be nice, but does not care about her students, or anybody. This class is a nightmare, and you would be a fool to take her class. Drop out before the deadline if you have already registered. Class averages are around 45%, and half of the class drops. She is overly subjective, and half of the time does not kn
Challanging class, but excellent instruction. I learned alot!
Dr. Meller is probably the best prof at WSU -if you're not lazy. She really packs in the info, but she makes it super-easy to understand. You will learn a ton! Her tests are tough so STUDY! But, she's very available to help students, so call/email/see her if you need to!! Overall, an awesome class.
Great professor and really know her stuff. Found her very helpful, but her office hrs were a lil hard timewise. Wonderful sense of humor and really emphasizes the stuff she feels is critical - And tests to that primarily. Its not a free A. You HAVE to keep up with all the readings, but she keeps you well preped for the tests! Highly recommend He
Although somewhat subjective in grading (she seems to favor female students), Dr. Meller is gifted at simplifying complicated concepts and her lectures are well organized, thorough, and fascinating. Exams are fairly easy, but generally cummulative. Excellent professor!
Depend on yourself and you learn a lot from the reading of many important papers. Depend on HER YOU WONT. YOU WILL FAIL HER CLASS EITHER WAY
To be perfectly frank, her exams are tough. You WILL need to show up at class, you WILL need to study. Meller's classes are not easy A's, but you WILL learn. She's given some of the best lectures I've ever had, and genuinely knows the subject.
Not a good lecturer, and does not understand statistics. I have received all solid A's in all of my science classes, and I believe I will in this class, so I'm not saying this because she gave me a bad grade ... she's not a good teacher. If she makes a mistake on the exam, she will not give you points back. Grading scale is good because an 88%=A
The problem with some faculty members at WSU like this lady is that they think they're doing something to the world. Some of them are prejudiced and this's very clear in this lady. If you ask'er a very simple question she'll say WELL THE SHORT ANSWER IS I DONT KNOW. She thinks students can read her brain&fortell her outcomes on tests. Discouraging
This is the worst professor i've had at wayne state in my 4 years of taking biology at this university. She is not helpful whatsoever. If students ask her a question she says to look it up. She is not willing to meet with students and is extremely mean.
I was 1% away from an A-. She obviously doesn't care if students do well in her class. She wouldn't have to curve her exams as much if students did better! Terrible professor. I honestly thought I was going to get an A with the amount of work I put into studying for genetics.
She isn't very helpful and went through material way too fast. Half of the stuff she lectured on never showed up on any exams. She curves based on the second highest score. I ended up with an A overall because I re-listened to EVERY single podcast lecture. I wrote out everything she said and didn't read the textbook, only used it for the figures.
Very good teacher. She does present material that doesn't show up on exams like others say.The point is not to spoon feed test material so you can get your grade. It's to teach a wide range of material so you actually learn something. She did a great job, and was more open than she probably should have been to giving credit for wrong answers on exams
The worst professor I have had in my entire college career. Very little of what she lectures on is actually on the exams. If you ask her a question very few times is she able to answer it. She is to far gone in her career to be able to relate or help students anymore. Avoid if at all possible
I was warned against taking her, but I did and I don't regret it. Fact is there are a bunch or wanna be doctors who expect an A even if they don't deserve it. Go to lecture, take notes, read book, do homework and the exams will be Easy. Her multiple choice are hard, but written part is easy. The only challenge is staying awake in her lecture.
I don't understand why so many ppl below didn't like her. Genetics is an overall hard class and I'm glad I had her teaching it. She?s better than some of the other genetics professors. An A is 88%. The one thing that I didn`t like is there were 5exams, 1 final, and 1 make-up test which was a little excessive
She talks very slowly, but the material is still tough to grasp the first time through. The exams are tough, but with the curve they're an easy A if you study hard enough. The textbook is terrible, but you'll still need it.
Horrible. I cannot believe how inaccurate, boring, and silly these lectures were. The inaccuracies made it hard to want to go to class. The exam material was only loosely based around lecture, which is pointless anyhow. Just don't take it with her!
Her exams are right off her lectures. Dont even need to attend lecture everything you need is online, either on podcast or powerpoint. Not too tough. I've heard of even worse genetics teachers. Study, put some effort in and there shouldnt be a problem.
I had a great interest in genetics....before taking this class. Her lectures only focus on things at the cellular level, and we rushed through 20 some chapters. The tests were hard and they were only somewhat based on her lectures.
Horrible...I am a nearly all A student in sciences, from physics to biochem, and dropped after first exam. She is clear in class, but tests are impossible, TAs can't even begin to cover problem solving. First test average was a fail, WITH the curve. Unless you put in a TON of study (I work full time and was taking another sci class), you will fail.
She's easy as can be. I took this course without taking either of the prereqs (because I'm a chem. major) and having my last biology course be 4 years ago. Tests were easy, she covered some specific stuff but she would hint at it heavily during lecture. She recycles usually 2-4 multiple choice and 1 or 2 short answer from old exams. Easy A.
An excellent researcher who has no business teaching and was probably forced to do so. She cares very little about her students and is very arrogant, unfair, and undeserving of her position. Averages on exams were in the 50s. You won't learn anything from her. She's not here for you. Lectures are boring and inaccurate. Overall, not a good teacher.
Did well. However, not because of her. Her writing is atrocious, asking questions gets you no response majority of the time. Also, sry is sex reversal vs sex determining. She taught us the wrong order of resistance transfer. At 1 point, exons were spliced to join introns. Oh and we have 48 chromos LOL. That's just the start of her inconsistencies.
I tried a different method of tackling for every test. & I landed on the best method 4 the 4th exam. know every word from lecture (ie DON'T attend class- listen to podcast). if u don't know ANYTHING from lec, look up in book. = A. Goes very fast so try to keep up w/ material. Pay attention during exam- tricky Qs + little time. She's a nice person.
Not the best teacher, but she tries. Use the discussion board online and use your TA. My best suggestion is to listen to the lecture, but take GOOD notes on the book. Make sure you understand the concepts. Mult. Choice are difficult, but the short answers aren't bad. Overall not a bad class, but I put way more time in than expected.
difficult class!
don't do it!
She says she will test on concepts and problem solving, yet 3-4 multiple choice questions were asking for percentages and other trivial items on some exams. She pulls exam questions from thin air and expects us to know. Don't take this class with her.
This is a very difficult class. The highest average was a 69%. She expects you to read the book, come to lecture, and study notes.
She moved through 20+ chapters waay too fast. Exam averages were always between 50-65% and I think the most she ever curved was 6 points. Rely on the book-she mentioned general topics but tested us on details...
She's tough. If you're looking for an easy A I wouldn't suggest taking this course with her. If you really want to do well write down everything she says, go over those concepts in the textbook and do the homework problems. It's a demanding course but if you put in the time, you'll get the grade.
couldnt take anything without this class. That is the ONLY reason i took her despite warnings. The worst teacher i ever had. Average was always low. Practice exams are not related to current exams. Reviews never cover small details on the test. "Curves" were useless. Handwriting was HORRIBLE. Take it if the rest of your classes are blow-offs.
The book the class uses is called "Concepts of Genetics". This is really ironic since her tests are very trivial and don't really focus on the "Concepts" of genetics. She delights on the fact that her class is challenging. At least she's not the worst professor I've ever had.
Was not good at all on being clear during lectures. Though she did answer questions and get her points across, she would test on the smallest details and not the bulk of the material. It was ridiculously hard to get a good grade on an exam in this class. She consistently had low averages and even asked if lectures were helpful considering low av
Very demanding class. The exams are on the smallest of details so you need to know EVERYTHING in and out-not just the concepts. The class averages for all 5 exams was always in the low 60s and the curve is only 3-5 points because there is always that someone that gets an A. Never had a C before this class...
First off Genetics is a hard course. Prof. Mellers lectures are slightly clear but sometimes hard to keep up with if you are writing your notes. They were recorded though. Exams were half written and half multiple choice but you have to THOROUGHLY know the material to do well and have GOOD recall memory on concepts w/ details! Good luck!
last test average was 55. I'm in the honors section. Believe me, tests are like greek language.
I don't like this new method of rating professors here on this website. I just posted the last review, hoping that it would appear a different way. Instead, it came up as a "good" rating. I have no idea how that's possible, when I gave such harsh criticism, which she deserves.
Genetics isn't supposed to be easy, but this professor takes difficulty to the next level. Not only are the exams hard, but they're graded very specifically and the same goes for the Quizzes in the quiz class. She will trick you over and over again, and expect you understand the specifics of the specifics. DO NOT take with another science
Depend on yourself and you will learn a lot from the reading. Depend on her and you won't. You need to attend the class and use every minute with your GTA that you can. EITHER WAY, YOU WILL FAIL HER EXAMS. I dropped - first time ever. Disappointing and frustrating does not begin to explain my experience.
The worst professor I've ever taken. This genetics class requires you to know her drawings. Grading is totally arbitrary so your answers to her exams can be wrong or right depending on the TA that is grading
Don't take with her. She's very sweet as a person but her tests are tricky and you don't know what she'll ask. Gives a practice exam and uses questions from practice exam in quiz classes but doesn't use or repeat any of the questions. First part of the class has a lot of math so understand concepts. TA grades hard. Book is a good read, do problems.
far too much work for an undergrad science course, especially considering a full class of 250 has been reduced to 40 students. Her desire is to weed out the geneticists, but this isn't WSU's goal. too bad Meller doesn't get it and she isn't on the same page as all the other science profs at WSU.
Never been on the edge of failing a class, but this class was impossible. she had 5 exams, last one being two days before my first final. averages for all were really low. curves arent much. she doesnt even put her slides online or even records her lecture, so you have to go to class. no matter how much you study, you cant score well.
I usually take these with a grain of salt, but these ratings are accurate. She stresses concepts in class, then tests minute details. Practice exams are hardly like the actual. Nothing is recorded or posted, so writing good notes and attendance are vital, but even then, it seems like she's just trying to throw curve balls. If you can, JUST DON'T.
A rating from 2012 here says Meller recorded her lectures. FUNNY THAT - she didn't bother to record OR post any notes fall 2014. Impossible to take notes and take in what she was saying. She spoke real slowly but it didnt help. She simplifies the data but after getting mostly 1010 in quiz class, I bombed her exmas. avgs were from 55-72%. Horrible
She has a reputation as being a poor professor and I should have listened. Nothing is recorded or posted. The tests are way too long and way to detail-specific for the length of time you have to complete them. Every test had to be curved by 10% to get a normal average. If you can take this with someone else, do yourself the favor.
Okay so let me just say, she wasn't as bad as the ratings made her out to be. The worst thing is that she didn't record lectures. But her exams, even though long, were from her class notes and book, but mostly her notes. If you outline on your own and come to class, you shouldn't have a problem getting the A. Ask for help & use the discussion board
OK, let me first say that most of her exams are from her notes. But then, 15 of the questions are from a tiny small aspect of some random trivial number from the chapter. She does not go over any chapters - no slides, no explanation. You are left to teach yourself, so learn those 20 chapters that she will go over in 14 weeks (YES, 20 chapters)
Meller lectures fast + gives vague descriptions for specific topics then expects you to know what she is talking about. Exams are all critical thinking or problem based but neither are covered in lecture or discussion. Syllabus and class lectures never lined up so you have to search the book for explanations on what she covers in class. GPA killer.
You will put in more time then what you would with any other professor. She is tough! Write down everything she says and if you can record it. Re-listen to lectures her notes are not clear. She tests from her lectures, 5 exams. Final replaces lowest score. 5 assignments. Send in re-grades for exams. Good Luck !
Do not take this class. She is not clear. If you do not watch videos you don't know what is going. She do not use PowerPoint or any visual aid. I went to all class sessions study every day and did not pass with A. Her assignment are not helpful.
Honestly, yeah this class is hard but I still managed an A. All I did was watch Captain America and Thor before the exams and somehow I got magical powers to get a 100% on every exam!
I have never had to rate a professor, but I thought this one was important. Do not take a class with this professor. She is rude, and inconsiderate. Does not care to help students and VERY unapproachable. Does not explain things clearly, so be prepared to teach yourself. Definitely do not recommend.
I absolutely despised her when the semester began, yet you got to realize this is an upper level bio class. Will it be hard, obviously. But she's a great professor who takes notes that are easy to follow. Unfortunately she only uploads audio in EchoCenter yet I made do. Just read the book, relisten to lectures, attend class, and study hard!
She's quirky and lacks empathy & sympathy. She often cuts you off with "okay" in office hours. At times she contradicts the book - testing on what's said in lecture. Take good notes as she only posts audio. Regrades are encouraged but she's stubborn in giving points back and seldom admits bad questions. Advice she gives in succeeding doesn't help.
She was okay. I've had better profs before. This class required a LOT of work and you must be very dedicated to learning the material since her exams are tricky. Relisten to lectures and read the book and be prepared to study EVERY day to do well in this class. It's possible to get a good grade, as long as you put in the effort.
She lectures by writing on blank power points. Good luck keeping up and understanding your notes later. Definitely have to listen to lecture again and read the book. Exams were half multiple choice and half short answer. Good luck with the multiple choice.
Dr. Meller really was not a bad professor. Genetics itself is tougher than previous bio classes that we were exposed to, so it's not her that makes the class hard it is the material itself. Her exams were very fair. If you read the book and listen during lecture, then you should have no problem getting an A- / A.
Genetics was probably the hardest Bio class I took. Dr. meller is a pretty good teacher, she just has no idea how long her exams take. Almost no one finished the first exam. She did adjust accordingly though. Come to class and put in the work and you'll get a good grade.
She gives useless outlines and assignments. When you ask a question she can't answer it and tell you don't interrupt the class She favors students!!. Never take her.
She tries to get a classroom excited with her pep talks that in actuallity waste time. She is a poor excuse for a teacher. It's really disappointing too. Her talking makes it hard to learn in the classroom. Plus, she has frown lines. It's truly sad. Doesn't respect students and has a really bad attitude.
From my experience, her exams are based on her lectures. It is highly advised to attend every lecture, take as many notes as possible, and take pics. As previous reviews have said, get ready to relisten to her lectures. Yes they are long, but it is very helpful in writing down everything she's said. Only read the book to reinforce information.
Taking her was the worst decision I've made. She isn't thorough with directions so you have to teach yourself. She disrespects all of her students and yells when somebody tries to ask her a follow up question. She isn't prepared when she comes to class . When she makes a mistake in her grading she doesn't fix it.
She was probably one of the worst professors I have ever had. She is very disrespectful and pretends she cares about her students but she really does not. Genetics is a hard class itself and she made it way harder. Focuses on so many things during lecture and exam questions are about little details. Would never take her again.
She is HORRIBLE. you will learn nothing. constantly changing the syllabus. exams were hard and confusing. Have bad attitude when you go to her office hours and never gives you a right answer. Keeps mumbling and saying go back to YouTube!
Most of her classes were every boring and her classes didn't do much to actually teach the material. Her tests are really a hit or miss and no amount of studying can prepare you for the hard ones. The questions on her exams are particularly hard to understand because the wordings of the questions and options can be interpreted in multiple ways.
Hard to hear, PowerPoints are not organized, will become angry with class if you ask her to speak louder. She made our exam s impossible because she said average in genetics ha to be a. Stated 50% needed to pass and 50% needed to fail, so she will grade to meet the quota. She is so rude in office hours, will not explain anything and keeps mumbling.
I would never take a class with her again. The tests we extremely hard and focused on the most minute details. I studied like crazy for this class and it didn't seem to matter. She was not available for the students except for her very limited office hours. Gets so angry and anxious when you as a question in class or office hours and cannot answer!
Do not taker her because she is the hardest teacher at the campus. You can't understand anything when she's explaining. She doesn't help. Nobody likes her and they all complain. She is rude and keeps yelling at students whenever they ask in class or in office hours.
Worst teacher I ever had. If you ask her questions she will get mad and make you feel stupid in front of the class. She said you cannot understand this problem because "I wasn't smart enough.". DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER.
if I can go back in time I won't take her class. she is the most horrible teacher at the university. I hated bio because of her. she isn't helpful and she doesn't care about her students.
She cannot teach, always makes mistakes and gets mad when you correct her. Never accessible outside class in office hours. Has an attitude towards everyone. Take Dr. Fan, he can teach!
All she does is coming late to lecture and rushes the material. And she always said my job isn't to give exams to everyone to pass it, the average has to be less than 60%. Always makes mistakes and gets upset when you ask any question. Keeps mumbling and cannot use the computer. She had to call IT to open PowerPoint for her. Very rude and mean!
Do not take any class with this professor, she is lazy and rude. Refuses to post lectures in canvas. Takes ages to grade exams and quizzes with her inexperienced TA's. She does not deserve the money for teaching at this school. In fact, she should have to reimburse her students for making them go through the living hell that is her class.
Very horrible teacher! STAY AWAY from any class she teaches! She does not know how to communicate well with students, puts students down and makes them feel hopeless. She does not put effort in her teaching what so ever. No study guides are given, she doesn't post any PowerPoint slides in Canvas. Cannot use computer and wastes time every day.
She came in always complaining how she might not make it through the whole class all the time. Cannot teach and gets mad when you ask a question. All she does is writing on blank PowerPoints and reads them. Never responds to emails and never accessible outside class including office hours.
I had to teach myself everything using the textbook. This professor is horrible at teaching and doesn't go into detail. She cancels class a lot and really doesn't care about you and wants to get out of the class as much as you. The labs for honors are nothing like what you are doing in class. Has a really bad attitude when you ask a question.
Horrible teacher! She will not work with you! Getting a good score is impossible. She would not go over the tests or take time to discuss anything! Don't risk dropping your GPA or losing out on money!
Horrible, horrible professor. I'm usually great in science so it was unusually for me to fail. I studied for every test and ended up failing. I only did good on the labs in honors section. Exams are set up to fail. It's like a foreign language no matter how much you study. The notes and study guides aren't even on the tests.
Take her if you want to say goodbye to your GPA and around two thousand dollars. Minimal opportunities to earn points and what opportunities you have, she will grade you as tough as possible. The questions on the few exams given are plagued with tricks. She is very counterproductive to learning. Worth the extra money to take with a different prof
I nearly failed my other classes from how much time I spent studying for this class. I put in so much effort, took all the notes, studied the notes and her guides. NOTHING. She has the heaviest accent, no enthusiasm, only 4 lecture exams, and ALL her tests (lecture and lab for honors) are tricky! She expects us all to have doctorates in biology.
She was awful! she tried to teach but was not successful. If you have a question she will get so mad, yells at you and then try to answer but you will end up more confused. Very monotone. she is not interested in student's success. Takes like 15 minutes trying to figure out how to use the PC! Has a bad attitude towards all students and never polite
Dr. Meller is a great professor. She really cares about her students and will help explain anything you need. Will post answers to students questions on the discussion board, holds out of class review sessions before exams, and is willing to stay after class to answer questions as well. Only bad thing is she doesn't post her lecture notes.
To whoever is looking to take this course with Victoria. She is VERY RUDE. Second, she makes you look dumb if you asked her any questions. Third, she rushes through the slides with each chapter being 70-80 slides and each exam covers 4-5 chapters. Four, she reads off the slides and doesn't seem to explain. Lastly, her exams are from other plant
This professor is a hoe. She is very mean and rude to her students because she expects people to understand something the first time they are learning something. The lab is bad, the lecture is dreadful because of her: 1) Shoving material without covering it, 2) Rolling her eyes at people when questions are asked. Avoid at all costs. Don't take her
She just reads ppt slides without explaining in lecture, but expects everyone to show up. The exam question are practically your whole grade; but exam questions are not worded well and are overly confusing even if you know all the information. The lab portion of the class sucks. She does not help you to retain the information. Very rude!
She cannot explain. Doesn't like if you ask questions and never responds to email. Never available in office hours and has an attitude towards all students.
Gets so mad when you ask and favors students over others! never take her
She is so disrespectful. Doesn't like when you ask a question and gets angry when you come to office hours. She said my job is to present the material not teach it!! Favors students too!!
The worst professor in Wayne State. She is so rude and there to fail you. Always comes late and keeps yelling at students for asking questions. Never responds to emails and never in office hours.
She is so rude and doesn't know what she is talking about
She is awful. Really rude and cannot teach.
She is horribe and very rude. Doesn't respect students nor teach good. She has an attitude towards everyone.
I honestly don't understand why her reviews are so horrible on here. She isn't rude at all, she's actually really nice and is willing to help if you ask her. Her exams aren't impossible, she gives you everything you need to know and as long as you understand the material, you should be fine. Nothing on exams that you shouldn't already expect.
Absolutely the worst class I have ever taken. Her tests are unrealistic and averages were very low (like 50s and low 60s). Very minimal curves (if there are ones). She is also rude to struggling students. Clearly does not know how to teach. Just writes all lecture and expects you to write after her because she never posts slides or video recordings
Her ego is so far up her you know what that it's not even funny.. She is so rude. Do not take the class with her. She will destroy your GPA. Save your money and time and take it with someone who actually knows how to teach.
Extremely rude and unprofessional. She always comes late to class and enjoys giving students Ds in all her exams. Stay away
This person does NOT know how to teach. The class was surprisingly less difficult than expected. However, she sucks with technology and is actually a horrible teacher. Shes rude in lecture and ignores students raising their hands. She doesnt post any notes and simply just doesnt know how to teach. She ignores university rules and her syllabus.
Doesn't know how to teach. TBH she's more concerned about making test averages lower than teaching the material. Take it with Fan I hear he's the only genetics teacher that knows how to teach.
Dr. Meller was honestly such a kind and caring professor. She made the final optional during the pandemic and during office hours she was so sweet and asked how I was and how was my home situation. I agree that she was not the best lecturer but her exams were pretty straightforward from lectures. Discussion helps to better understand the material.
She's a sweetheart and the class was way easier than it's depicted here in the reviews. She showed up on time and she never came late. Loved her. Just show up to class, write what she writes and study that. No book no banks, just study purely her notes, that's it
Not a good professor at all. Had to teach myself all of the material because her lectures are useless. Doesn't even post the slides she just post her recordings. Thank God this was the only hard class I took or else I wouldn't have had enough time to spend for it. Do not recommend her at all, unless youre ready to teach yourself because she wont...
Genetics is hard and she makes it harder. Does not know how to teach and does not even use slides, you have to keep writing after her during lecture because she only posts audio. Exams are hard. Do NOT take if you want to keep your high GPA, take with a different prof. for the sake of your money and GPA.
To be fair she's a nice lady. That's it. Not a good prof at all, had to teach myself everything since the lectures were terrible. Exams were difficult and majority of the class dropped understandably. Students that liked her generally mistook her kindness for good teaching. Most of the people I spoke to said the same thing; Bottom line, don't take.
She is so rude and disrespectful. She doesn't know who to teach and gives exams that she doesn't know how to answer. The most terrible and rudest woman on the planet!
Most suggested practice problems and practice exams were not like the real exams. Had an exam in bad weather. Discussion section was focused on the book, rather than lectures. Quiz every week. Analyzed research papers (5 of them). Huge curve on exams because of bad grades (but won't help if you still did bad). No slides posted, so constant writing.
Exam questions are sometimes random and/or have topics that were never mentioned. Half multiple choice/half written questions. No lecture slides posted so you write everything. Terrible at working canvas. Huge curves on exams because averages were always in the 40's/50's. Discussion is pointless. Apathetic, rude, and a poor excuse for a professor.
Single-handedly the worse professor I have ever had. She does little to set her students up for success and has a clear lack of empathy. Not only does she not post the slides, but only records the audio; so, if you miss a slide during class there is no way to view it. She even refused to send specific slides when students emailed and requested them
3070 is an extremely difficult class, and she makes it even more difficult. Class averages in the 50s. She lectures and sometimes gives practice questions. Practice exams not helpful, they seem pretty easy and then you get the exam and reality hits u. She made a 4 credit class feel like 10 credits. Have to dedicate every single waking moment for it
Horrible. Ruined my life and GPA. You could be albert einstein, you will not do well. It's a miracle I got a B. All averages in 50s. Whole class tried reporting to dean and head of dept but nothing was done. Humble yourself and do not take her. Extremely unhelpful and vague. Told us she can't tell us whats gonnabe on the final. No help from her.
took the honors section. horrible experience. this is more of a DROSOPHILA genetics class than genetics. had to teach myself everything, rewatched echo360 lec videos a million times. exams r extremely detailed (mcqs and free response questions) and class avgs were like in the 50s. I tell u what..SAVE UR GPA, DONT TAKE HER pls for the love of god...
