very easy class, learned alot as well. lectures can get a little boring, and there is a 5-7 page paper that has to be done, but it's still very simple.. tests are extremely easy, just pay attention the class before when reviewing!

Her class was awesome! You learn alot && she makes it really fun && interestin. Occasionally she will play a movie related to the topic ur learnin. She gives you these take home quizzes for easy pts && only gives you 3 tests && all u need to do is study her powerpoints tht she puts online. && the jeapardy games too. BIG HELP. totally recommend her!

This professor is the bomb! If you're looking for a helpful, friendly, and exceedingly knowledgeable teacher who will really get you excited about the humanities, take her. She is very fair in her grading and her assignments really help you learn the material. Plus she's so hot you could fry an omelet on her!

Loved her class, very nice, loved the material. Sometimes there is alot to read, but i found it interesting. Some might find the tests hard, but i thought if you went over all her powerpoints you would do fine. She even shows a movie now and again.

She is very intelligent and you can definitly tell that she loves what she teaches. Makes lecture intresting by adding both youtube and blockbuster videos. Before every test she goes over material in a review game. SHe really just wants to see an effort from her students which shows on homework and other projects.

Such an easy A. Before each exam she plays Jeopardy with the class and gives out extra credit. There are four homework assignments the whole semester. There is a lot of material but it is all covered in the review game. Really cool and nice teacher. Take her for sure.

Really easy grader, you don't need a textbook for class except for 1 homework packet she hands out that you can easily find the answers to online. she knows what shes talking about and if you have a question for her that shes not sure of she will look it up and let you know the next class. overall great teacher.

prof. neubeck-o'connor is awesome! shes a really nice lady and knows a lot about her subject. there are three readings with 40 questions each that are due within the semester but it is pretty spaced out. tests are multiple choice, matching AND 4 short paragraph--but you play jeopardy the day before the test which is pretty fun. I recommend her.

Amazing teacher and if you studied the material that she gives you in the study guide then you definitely will receive a great grade. I highly recommend her! Probably my second favorite teacher at Moraine.

She has a great understanding of this subject. There are three reading assignments that require a lot of reading from the textbook. There is also a project where you gotta go to an event and write a paper about it. Overall, I recommend Mrs. O'Connor, she's a cool lady.

Fantastic teacher. Some of the subject matter can be dry at times but she cuts it with videos or discussion that keeps it interesting. The tests are a little hard, the have some questions from readings that you are expected to do outside of class. Other than that, great class. I wish she taught other classes because i would take her again.

This is an online class and is really enjoyable because the material is interesting and the assignments are very clear. You know what is due when and there's enough time to do it at your own pace. She also answers emails really quickly which is helpful. Definitely recommend this class.

The class was set up so you would succeed. The directions were very clear. Read 2 chapters a week, take a quiz, and post a discussion board. 3 unit tests during the entire semester, which were all online. I would recommend taking her, just beware that you will read the entire textbook throughout the semester, which was about 500 pages.

She was an okay professor. The class was mostly lecture and she read off a Power Point for each class, which you had to print on your own. The class was divided up into 3 units and you had to do a lot of independent reading because questions would appear about it on the test. Overall, she was very sweet and I think the class is an easy A.

I took both of Mrs. O'Connor's classes online--101 and 115. Both were really good, and what I liked the most is how organized and clear they are. I knew exactly what had to be completed, how it had to be done, and when it was due. I can't say this about all online classes. I was very pleased and would take more of her classes if she taught more.

Mrs. Neubeck is great, such a sweetheart and likes to make learning fun. She makes you understand the material. Her tests are pretty touch and you can't cram the night before! But all-in-ll it was a good class.

I'm almost done with HUM101. I really love this class because Mrs. NOC makes it interesting and funny even when the topic is kind of dull. I also took an online class with her and I loved it because it was so clear and not hard if you did the work.

She was a great teacher. As long as you do the study guides and the readings she assigns waaay ahead of time you'll do great. It's a lecture based class so be prepared. She often cracks jokes and she knows a lot about what she's talking about. DO THE READINGS. Also she gives an extra credit assignment out.

I really liked her HUM101 class so I took her Myth 115 online. Both classes are really good in different ways. She's very low key and friendly in class, knows her stuff, and does her best to help you get a good grade. The online class is very easy to navigate because it's so organized. The material in both was very interesting too. Take her!

Mrs. Neubeck-O'Connor is an amazing online teacher. I was skeptical in taking an online class, but everything was clear and the syllabus is well put together to follow by. One paper worth the most points of your grade, so get started early on it. Do the readings early because cramming it in one day is nearly impossible. Easy A! Take her online!

get book especially for open note exams. lecture heavy but if you attend class you will be fine. She also if very entertaining even though some of the material is not too exciting. extra credit essay at the end of the semester that if you turn in is almost a free 1/8th of your grade. I took the online class and there is a lot of reading. Some of the questions on quizzes and tests were a little confusing. There is a paper that needs to be completed for this class along with all the other coursework so multitasking is mandatory. This professor could be a little quicker to grade reading assignments so you know your grade .

With the online class there is really not much room to miss points, but she gives you a chance with the extra credit, also easy. She always responds to emails and if you have the chance should definitely be a part of your schedule.

I took with her HUM 101 , and It was okay. You just need to focus a lot and take notes of her power point.

Really like this teacher and the class. She made the topics enjoyable and she's funny. Very willing to help you all you have to do is ask. Oh and def be sure to put your phone away! :-)

This class is a lecture hard class. She understands this class may be boring but shes so nice and i really liked her i paseed her class with a C. But never went to class, shes so good take her.

Victoria is an amazing professor! One of the best at Moraine. Super passionate about what she teaches and her lectures are point on. Really prepares you if you're planning on transferring to a university. Can't say one bad thing about her or her class because both are awesome! Take her any chance you get, you definitely will not regret it.

She gives an assignment almost every week(quizzes,discussion posts, reading assignments) but she has everything organized. If you stay on track with the assignments, you'll get an easy A

I enjoyed this class very much. However, if you are not ready for a lecture only class, then you may struggle. Ms. O'Conner is very knowledgeable and seems to have passion and love what she is teaching. I Wish she was a bit more personable though.

I liked this professor. The material you read and what you learn in the lectures is boring but she makes it worthwhile. You will get a lot of points if you show up to class and do the activities. Extra credit is offered frequently. She is very passionate about what she teaches and Humanities as a whole. If you do not buy the book you won't do well.

I really enjoyed Mrs. O'Connor's class. The material and such can be boring but she makes it interesting and fun. She even offers a 30 pt extra credit essay. You will need the book for the reading exams. I am taking her online mythology class next semester. I would recommend taking her any chance you can! :)

she is an amazing teacher for HUM-014. It is a lecture class but having her makes it more interesting in the way she teaches , you walk out everyday learning something knew. she loves partner work as well. she is super sweet and understanding. she has fun homework assignments as well. would most defiantly take again. her class and grading is clear.

I took her HUM 101 in class and 115 online. really liked them both. She's very smart and funny and nice and for the online it's really organized so you don't have a hard time following the due dates. Very happy with both. Wish all my teachers were like this.

I like this class because it is very organized and clear. Theres also plenty of time to get assignments done. And its interesting because its not just reading myths but also theory stuff. I also took this teachers HUM 101 online which was good too. She answers messages fast and is understanding if u have an emergency and miss a due date.

I am taking HUM101 that went from in the class to online because the school closed for the pandemic. I've never taken an online class and was really nervous that I'd fail. But she's made it very easy and understandable and she answers emails right away when you have questions She's very friendly and made the change a lot less stressful.

I like this class. Yes, you have to read, but you can't complain when tests are open book!lol! Discussion boards let you post your opinion and as long as you show that you read the stuff, you'll do well. The class is organized and clear. I'm happy with it and the teacher is easy to communicate with.

I took 115 online and then 101 in class. Both were really good. All her classes are very organized and clear. You know what to do and when stuff is due. Shes very helpful in person and online and is understanding if you miss a due date for a good reason. also good lectures in person and fun classes overall. I wish she taught other classes.

HUM115 online was an easy A. There is about about 4-5 discussion boards (mostly opinion based or easy info to look up), 6-7 ch quizzes, and 1 exam per module (3 total). Everything is clearly laid out for you with due dates and dates to keep you on pace with the class. Everything is open book/note, so if you use your resources you will do well.

Really good class. Half in class and the other class online because of the virus and both were good. Very clear on what's expected and good powerpoints for the online half of class. Really good on both and very helpful.

This is my second class with Mrs. O'Connor. Her classes are good both in classroom and online. This one was online and I appreciated how organized it was, how clear everything was laid out and how quickly she got back to me when I had questions. Very friendly too. The material was also interesting. Highly recommend.

Professor knew exactly what she was talking about and taught straight to the point. The only thing that was heavy was the reading, if you don't read it'll be hard to pass the reading exams even though she allows the book during the test.

Took the 3 week HUM101 summer online class and it was excellent. Super organized, clear syllabus/assignments, plenty of time to finish things even in a short semester. And also responded to message quickly and is very nice. Very happy with the class and instructor. Am now taking her myth class which is also good.

READING IN THIS CLASS IS HEAVY!!!!! be prepared to read a lot bc this class has two medium books but with long passages. 6 exams in total; meaning that there's one exam for each book! three writing assignments. overall good teacher! took her for summer 2020 online, 8-week course, fast pace but I was able to do it!

Very good class. Some interesting topics and writing assignments. Tests are not hard as long as you read and since they're open book (obv LOL) and she gives you study guides its a lot less stressful. Friendly and helpful and answers messages quick. Also extra credit asgmt. Would definitely take again.

Loved this class. Even online the professor made it very interesting with videos and extra information besides the textbook. Very clear on due dates and grades, and answers messages quick. Funny and friendly in messages too. :-) Would for sure take again.

This was an excellent class. I liked that the instructor provided all the material. I also liked that everything was very clearly laid out. You knew what to read and do and when assignments had to be completed and you have the whole unit to finish stuff. I am now going to take her mythology class because I know what to expect and its super clear.

She's really nice and knows her subject. I've had her for both in person and online classes--101 and 115. She has such a great knowledge of this stuff and also seems to really like all of it which made me like it more. she's also been to some of these places which makes it even more interesting. Very glad I took these classes.

I have only had Professor O'Connor online. I took HUM101 first and now HUM 115 mythology. Her classes are interesting and organized. She makes it very clear what to do and when, and she makes things really interesting with her PDFs and videos and other things. I wish she taught more classes! She's also really easy to talk get a hold of. Recommend!

Excellent teacher and class. Learned a lot, super clear instructions, easy to communicate with- I even called her once. I normally get totally nervous talking to professors but she made me feel really comfortable. And I liked that besides readings theres other things like videos so your not doing one thing the whole time. Recommend completely.

Really good instructor and class. She makes the class interesting and fun with her own photos of historic places and stuff--its not just boring textbook work. Its also very clear as to due dates and how assignments should be done. Liked this class alot.

She was an easy grader. It wasn't hard to pass the class. Just do the work online and you will pass. Very structured when it came to online.

Professor Neubeck-O'Connor is nice, and all but she is all tests and quizzes. I would say she is nice and all. She gives you the proper work but your grade kinda drops quick. There's three units and there's a video quiz, a primary source quiz, a discussion board and an exam. I would say I am indifferent about her but I would say take her.

I really liked this class and teacher. The tests aren't hard because they some are straight from her lectures and the others are open book! She's really nice, interesting, and helpful. I would take the class again.

3 week hum101 class was excellent. very interesting and organized. instructor was easy to speak to--she answered messages quickly and was really helpful. good class and teacher.

Great class for online. Very well versed in online teaching. Graded by a few thing so beware, and don't let them sneak up on you. Get lots of time about 3 weeks per unit for 1 test, 1 discussion, and quiz. Lots of reading, and long test but plenty of time to take. If you like mythology you should like most of the stuff we learned. Would take again.

loved this class. spring 22 in person. She was fun and so incredibly knowledgeable. I learned so much and she went out of her way to make sure everyone did they're best. If you can't do well in this class then you aren't even trying at all! So recommend!!

I loved this class. Shes such a good teacher. And she will answer any question in class and also will tell you when she doesn't know something. She then comes back the next class with the answer. That never happens! anyway, it's a good class to learn a lot and shes really helpful and kind.

This class only has 3 units but it is a LOT of reading, all exams are based off the book and PDF's she gives out. All answers are right in your book or right in the video. Exams are like 60-90 questions because it is based off of 10-15 chapters. you only have 3 exams, 3 discussion posts, and 3 video exams. easy class if you need credit hours.

If you need a class that's just 4/5 assignments due every month, this is your best teacher. Her grading Is simply based off what you score on there tests and quizzes, and is an easy grader. Everything Is based off the PDF's provided. She is also easy to reach out too and responds quick.

Easiest professor of all time, 9 assignments all year (and one small extra credit essay). You don't have to buy the book (it is on Reddit look up the book name and type Reddit after it, its in the first thread).

Her lectures are amazing & she makes the content super interesting! Passing with an A is a breeze as long as you show up and do the readings. 3 Unit tests, 3 Reading Tests (open book), and 4 Essays (one is optional EC) -- all understandable. Look at the study guide, it's basically the test. Love this course and professor and would recommend to all!

Professor Neubeck-O'Connor is an incredible teacher. She is passionate about teaching and knowledgeable of the subject matter. The assignments for this class were pretty open ended: opinion or creativity oriented. As far as tests, they were a bit difficult, but if you do the study guide then everything you need to know is on there.

Well it turned out that this class was great and really interesting, mainly because the professor was so good. I loved this online mythology class I just took this summer. The course is set up very well. The professor made assignments, due dates and everything else very clear and easy to follow. She also gives you plenty of time to finish assignments at your own pace. Answers emails fast and is really nice. Excellent!

She's so kind and cares about students, understands when you have life problems. Works with you when you ask for help. Class is also really good. She love her subject and her lectures are interesting and she's fun. Nothing on tests was ever a surprise. she does everything to prepare you to do well. I totally recommend and am taking her 115 next.

There are no assignments to complete except the exams. Each unit has 4 "exams" to complete, but it is super straightforward. There is an extra credit essay you can complete in the final unit. I really enjoyed this class because it was hands-off.

I have never had a prof who I could say, without a shadow of a doubt, was a master in her subject area. You can tell how much she knows just by the way she casually does her lectures. So amazing- no surprises or anything on any of the exams. I messed up the EC essay, and she gave me full points anyways. Amazing prof, amazing class. TAKE HER!
