Helpful but critical

Dr. Time is great! She can be tough, but is obviously a very intelligent lady who will not tolerate those who are looking for the easy way out. Highly recommended professor!

She breathes life into abstract concepts!

She is very thorough in her discussions and is very intelligent. I strongly recommend that yall criminal justice majors and minors take her class.

she is very knowledgable, nice and an effective teacher. the only downside would be her accent which is hard to understand at first but becomes easy to understand after a week or two. Take her!

Very smart lady, funny and approachable. If taking 262, make sure you read court cases thoroughly for tests. Also, take notes in class, thats all she tests. Im taking her again next semester!

Very knowledgeable and professional. A toughteacher, but an easy A if you work hard.

Her class is probably one of the most difficult classes i've taken. Her multiple choice questions are difficult and so are her short answers. You have to go to class and understand the notes you take. You should allot at least 4 hours to study for her tests. But she is great professor even though her class was hard.

She is a hard teacher no extra credit, no test reviews. You get the grade that you deserve is what she says. The test averages are like 72 percent and that's horrible.

I LOVE DR.TIME! Difficult course, yes but study and pass. They couldnt find anyone else to teach the course better. Wanna learn from an expert who will help you along the way? Take her!!

Dr. Time is the best professor I have ever had!! She has 4 law degrees so you know she knows what she is talking about. I enjoyed her class soo much! If you come to class and pay attention you will do great!! She breaks it down so you can understand what's being taught and she is great with one on one time. She is funny too.

very nice prof. didn't even read the book once and still managed to get a B-. i had her for a 4 week summer class and she made it easy to learn all the material with her notes. test are a bit hard though.

EXCELLENT professor, she knows her stuff. You do have to study semi hard/KNOW your stuff for the test(because of the information that you learn in this class) However her tests are not too difficult. Be prepared to take notes the entire class because she doesn't use nor post on blackboard powerpoint slides. She kept my interest and is a nice lady.

I love this teacher! Very, very intelligent lady..funny too. I always enjoyed going to her class. Always read the chapters prior to class and know what your talking about...she remembers who participates and if you end up having a B+ she'll bump it up to an A just for participating and answering her questions.

I loved attending this class. The professor was passionate about her class and encouraged everyone to participate. Her tests, however, were not easy. Read the chapters, don't skim, and study all notes prior to taking the test. She is fair about grading if you participate, even if you aren't a good test-taker, like me. Overall, I really enjoyed her.

Very good professor. Very passionate about the subject matter and open to discussion. If you go to class and take good notes, you can probably expect to get a good grade. She keeps discussions interesting and is very informative. Even though attendance is not mandatory, it is necessary if you want to do well in this class.

Dr. Time is the very definition of what all professors should strive to achieve. I have never learned more in one class. She is dedicated to her field and and expert at such. Be prepared to be actively involved in duscussion as well as at least 5-6 hours of studying prior to her tests.

I love love LOVE Dr. Time! hands down, my favorite professor I've ever had. Yes, her class is challenging, but at the end of the day all she wants is her students to think about what she's saying. She grades tough, but won't follow by how many points you got. If you participated in discussions and put in an honest effort you could get an A or B.

All it took to get a good grade was effort. Show up, take good notes and study for the four exams. Do that and you will learn a lot, as Dr. Time is one of the most effective professors ODU has to offer. Squared away and very on point!

GREAT professor! She is extremely smart and knows what she is talking about. Her PowerPoints are very helpful and all it takes is for you to go to class and take notes and make note cards before the test. Has 4 test, and a mock trial for extra points. She took down our lowest test grade! TAKE HER!

Outstanding Law Professor!!!She is the Best ODU has to offer.Had the pleasure of taking her class on several occasions. She is tough but fair and you will learn alot if you apply yourself. Highly reccommend her class to those who wish to excell in Criminal Justice.

I love Professor Time. She was intimidating the first class but after that I learned a lot from her. She knows so much about the law. Gave 4 tests, including final, fairly easy if you study, and she gave optional paper that added ten points to lowest test grade. Ended up with A- in class

She gives 4 test and she makes clear everything that will be in the test so as long as you study you will be fine.

Ms. Time is one of the most memorable professors I've ever had, her class is a challenge but more so a challenge of yourself. You actually have to study, be organized, and work hard. Which I think is great b/c you learn so much about yourself as well as retaining the information given. GREAT professor doesn't play around, you evolve for the better.

Professor Time is an excellent teacher she teaches very well. You have 4 tests throughout the semester and each test consists of the notes. everything on the test she does go over, she makes sure of that. must go to class, she gives no study guide. it is best to have a study group with people who take really good notes and goes to class.

One of my favorite professors.

There are 3 exams the exams. She gives 3 short written assignments. There will be very easy extra credit assignments when she is unable to make It to class. She also sends a email out days before the test to state what will be on the test. Dr. Time is a GREAT teacher and knows the system well. If you study, attend class and study you will pass!!

Dr. Time is my favorite professor at ODU. She genuinely cares for students who care about their work and doesn't have time for those who slack off. Attend class, read, study, and you will be fine. She's challenging but will boost your grade if she feels that you have participated in the class. Tests are straight from the lectures. Respected.

Professor Time is absolutely amazing and if you pay attention during the lectures youll pass! She is a tough grader but if you validate your papers youll get a decent grade! And she will help you out more if you participate in discussions. She knows exactly what shes teaching and she does it in a very understanding manner. TAKE HER!!

First time taking Professor Time here at ODU and first time taking a crim class. She made me so excited to go to class because she knows what shes talking about! Hard grader but if you take good notes you WILL pass ! Shes also funny ! Make sure to go to class or you wont pass ! Definitely recommend!!

The powerpoints she posts online are not that helpful so might as well attend class so she can expand more on those topics. There was 4 writing assignments, basically one a month. No page or word count requirement as long as you included your answer and why. 2 or 3 exams plus the final. She is a nice lady and very knowledgeable.

If you are looking for a professor to inspire you and lead you in the right direction, look no further then professor Time. I do not have words to explain her level of intelligence and brilliance. I am a criminal justice major and she made me fall even greater in love with my career path. Old dominion University is extremely lucky to have her.

Dr. Time is an amazing professor. It's shown that she really loves what she teaches and is excited to share that information with students. If you are a student who doesn't put in the work don't expect a good grade. You will pass if you put the work in. Other than that you will love the material you will learn in this class. READ THE COURT CASES!

Honestly, if you read all the materials, you will do fine. I am sitting at an A and it's about to be novemeber. READ! READ! READ! I think Dr.Time just wants to see that we are reading and understand the materials as we go along. Overall, if you are passionate about criminal justice/law this is a class that you will love.

Dr time, is a pretty good professor the only thing I found hard in her course was the case studies because it's not from “argumentative stance” it's right or wrong or what she says is right based on older laws, even if you argue that it's different or could be both answers. So be prepared to read and really think critically for the case studies.
