she is rude. literally one of the meanest teachers I've ever had. she made me cry once; she laughed at my essay. didn't accommodate to my disability at ALL after meeting with the disability services. just a rude person. she is always using inappropriate language in class.

Probably the worst professor I've had at montco. She misses one week of class during the semester and makes us all suffer for it and assigns work like crazy. I get it's a higher level course, but spring break shouldn't be full of assignments when some of us have full time jobs or vacation plans. Minimum 2 papers a week, textbook required.

I felt she actively wanted me to fail, was rude. Very picky with commas. Forgot to turn in 1 assignment on time and went from a B to a C. Would not give me any breaks even though I worked with her throughout the whole semester and showed I was willing to do allot of work.

Take a different teacher, she is overly picky and expects masters level work for what is supposed to be a 101 class. If English is your major then fine but everybody else stay away.

WOW! All these comments are terrible. I felt led on, I actually thought she would be a semi-good teacher, but she is so rude. I never had such a difficult teacher that refused to respond to my emails and refused to give me feedback on my work. I wish I knew what she really was like because I would have never took this class. Im dropping out.

I should have payed attention to the reviews from here when I first registered. She speaks over your head and has dated material. No flexibility as well at all!

She expects us to agree with the her instead of disagree

She was super horrible, she expects us to agree with the questions for the persuasive essay when we are asked our opinion on the topic. She hates when we add political or religious things in out essays but isnt afraid to complain about trump.

Since this class was a 3-week class during winter break, it still felt harder than a normal 15-week class. You have an essay due pretty much week and only have a couple of days to write a rough draft and turn it in. She will then and critique pretty much everything that's wrong with the paper. She grades like it's a graduate class when it's not.

What a joke. She puts her political views in her readings and expects you to feel the same (which I didnt) She is terribly rude when she grades papers, doesnt ever feel the need to point out what we did GOOD, just all of the bad. She also likes to rant about how if you DONT do something, youll fail (You wont fail. Shes trying be intimidating)

This was by far the most difficult course I've ever taken. I got an A in Eng101 at KU. Shouldn't a state school be harder than a community college? I'll be lucky if I pass with a C. Never missed an assignment. Spent hours writing. She never responded to my emails. I couldn't access her feedback to my work. She said herself we will fail without it

This professor mainly wants you to conform to her ideas of good writing. She called me out multiple times to the entire class and made me feel worse about writing, when I am already aware I am a poor writer. My experience was very bad and I am really disappointed in my experiences with this professor. Very stingy on sources, so be aware of that.

She is awful! Not sure how she got a full-time position but she grades hard just because she can. She negates any other teacher you have ever had for writing! She purposely makes the class difficult for no absolute reason! Her discussion posts ramble on and on and contain MANY, MANY grammar and spelling mistakes yet she is teaching someone else!!!

Assistan Professor Vetro is a racist, unfortunately my name was not Tamika or Tamisha, so this why she failed me. She gave me wrong grades at the beginning of semester, until I asked her, why I have F for submitted essays. I also used Montco tutoring, and was told my essays ware very good, and only 2 small changes required, which I did.I got C.

Irresponsibility selfish professor. Does not teach or respond to emails. Will not recommend to anyone to take her class. I read her research myself, it was full of bologna, and she is teaching?

Do not take that class if you want to survive, most likely after working so hard and fail, you will feel very depressed. This class made me not feel good after sacrificing so much time on writing. This professor grades low just because she can show her power. Probably was bullied pretty hard when young. She is awful human.

Well, there is nothing good to tell about this professor. She is late in responding to emails, not helpful at all. Her grading system is unreasonable.

She tough and unreasonable, she grades on what you write and not on how you write. She has her own opinion and will grade you on that. Do not take her, if you are taking this class for a grade.

She does not grade honestly and does not care for you as a person. We will fail you because she can.

Nothing positive to say about professor Vetro. I made a mistake of taking her class. Negatives reviews were right, positive not so much. My friend a I took online class together, she failed us both for no reason. We did all assignments on time and we all our essays were proofread. So nothing wrong with the class, it is totally the professor.

She will grade you on her personal level what she went to school for. She wants you to be on the same level. I'm science major, but I need this class and she failed me. I bet she will fail Algebra 1 in no time. What a waste of money and time for me.

I did all the work and did it on time, used MCCC tutoring and received very positive reviews on all my essays, but she still failed me. She made me feel like empty place, nothing to live for. I think I'm done wasted human. i want to go and jump from the cliff. There is nothing left for me in this world, have a great life professor Vetro.

Professor Vetro failed me. I did all my work, I send her emails with questions, which if she answer, it was too late. I do not recommend to take any of her classes. She is selfish and does not teach, she just grades. What type of school it is? I did not learn a thing from her. She is there just to fail you, so you pay more to retake the class.

Professor Vetro is not there for you to teach or help. I did all the work and on time. She made me feel awful. I worked 50 hour + week outside, get home and did all the work on time. It was proof read by MCCC tutoring and was rated good. But she still failed me. She made me feel so awful, I still not able to get back to my daily activities.

I worked so hard on this class, and professor just failed me. She is not helpful at all. I googled her, she makes $110k a year, because she gets bonuses for every failed student. Do not take her, she is money driven, not student education driven. She will make you be like empty place, trash, the low of the lowest. My self esteem is zero now.

Tough, unreasonable professor. Never again I will take any classes at MCCC. I worked so hard and she Just ignored and failed me.

I'm not recommending in any way professor Vetro. She grades rough. Not on Level class is taken. She has no idea how to teach for English 100. Her level is her doctor's level. She will make you feel awful, stupid, empty place. She made me go mental and I ended up in the hospital with nervus breakdown. No made a failure.

Do not take mad professor Vetro. She will make you feel awful and confused, want to end your life or run away. She was not responding on my emails and was not giving feedback, she just failed me. My parents took me to ER to treat me for dehydration. I did not eat or drink after failure for few days. My kidneys are failing now.

She is not only tough grader, she also never responded to my emails and questions. She failed me without teaching me. Just wonder what is going on her head and MCCC administration to keep her.

Just do not take her, nothing good will come out. She is rough, tough, unfair and you will fail.

If you have conservative views do not put them on the paper. Professor Vetro failed me because my views does not go with hers at all. She is liberal inside and out. She will grade on what you write and not how you write. She will also grade you like you are English major @English 100. She is not a good teacher at all and very mean.

That was the worse and hardest class I ever took. It was mentally hard, I was humiliated, brought down. Professor Vetro is racist, she failed me of my name, not my work. Never answered my email from first try, if only 48 hours later if I renamed her again. Awful. Just awful.

Worst professor I have ever had! She has us do so much work in so little time acting like this was the only class we have ever had! She grades you like you are in an English major and is not willing to help! I had tutor help and help from her on an essay and she still failed me!!! Do not recommend to take her unless you want a challenging class!!

Critical, condescending, and irrational. Does not have any compassion for older students. She teaches Eng 101 like everyone is a 3rd year English major. Would not recommend.

I genuinely don't think Dr. Vetro is cut out to teach freshmen english courses. She grades as if you are a graduate student pursuing english, which is not necessary or helpful for English 101. She's very vague with feedback and gives unclear expectations. Her grading criteria is inconsistent and way too harsh for an entry level class.

Dr. Vetro isn't the worse professor in the world; she allows for unlimited submissions for essays and she is a very quick grader. However, her feedback was often poorly-written or vague, which makes me doubt her ability as a professor. Please stop grading rough drafts, rough drafts are where students should be allowed to make mistakes.

It is pretty much impossible to get 100. You're pretty much on your own. No lectures but a bunch of Powerpoints and articles to read. I did not appreciate the heavy controversial topics. I had to choose a side whether I agreed or not and then felt pressured to agree with her when she commented on essay. Not helpful and does not give much guidance.

She gives awful feedback, but also insists you write a lot of papers. She unfortunately was hard to get ahold of, very combative, and just didn't seem to actually want students to learn. Just a very bad experience. I've never gotten a C in anything.

Genuinely the worst prof ever. Highly critical for an entry level English class. Will take points off for no reason and is extremely rude and inconsiderate. Completely avoid this prof at all costs- to save your GPA.

Please please please save yourselves. Genuinely the worst professor I have ever had- so rude and not understanding, will give you a bad grade and not explain why. Passive aggressive and no help whatsoever, she should not be an educator.

Does not know how to teach writing at all. So disconnected from the class and is always on her phone. Has no genuine care for her students at all. Gave my class attitude all the time, and I would always try to ask her something, but she did not care and would just tell me to do something different and belittle me. Very bad overall.

This professor is extremely critical but gives no helpful feedback. Her grading is vague, and when you ask questions, she's condescending and combative. It feels like you're being judged, not taught and it's really discouraging. Unless you're okay with zero support and figuring out everything alone, I wouldn't recommend her class at all.

i took her online english 101 course and my very first essay topic sentences and thesis she didn't explain anything wrong but just put questions marks instead of telling me what was wrong. she also had us do 3 different essays on AI and then a research essay. She does not help any student at all. DO NOT TAKE ANY CLASS WITH HER!!

She very discouraging, demeaning, and lacks compassion. Her teaching style, even on-line, is very harsh. I honestly feel as though she doesn't like her job. She grades ENG101 assignments as if we're 3rd year English majors. She's mentally draining and ENG101 shouldn't be. AVOID AT ALL COST! Save yourself and your GPA!

Gives one word feedback and barely answers emails. Always sounds like I am bothering her when I ask for help.

She was very rude, and not much help at all. I asked various times for help but she was very dry back with me and sounded inconvenienced by me asking. When grading she gave vague feedback, not explaining why it was wrong or providing any help to correct it. Very harsh grading; almost impossible to get an A. Took all of my writing style away.

Extremely tough grader and gives condescending feedback. Assignments are pretty straightforward however it is difficult to get a good grade because she dissects everything written so intensely. I have never struggled so much in an English class to just receive a passing grade

She needs her ego checked. One time she took off 50% from my discussions grade bc I used the wrong line numbers. I replied asking can you please show me which ones were wrong. She couldn't give me a specific answer… so then I really had to ask her to spend a few minutes to tell me bc I think she made a mistake. She did. She corrected it.

ENG201. If it wasn't for the lack of grading criteria or proper feedback I would have gotten an A in the class. She is very stubborn to work with when it comes to needing assistance with anything. The class entirely is OKAY, but I would never take this class again. She even punishes you on SMALL mistakes whether or not it's your fault.

THE WORST. I have only 2 regrets: taking this class and not dropping it. I learned nothing. Mean professor with a bad attitude. The only word she knows is “vague.” Will never explain her grade, will never help. Inconsistent grading, changes her mind every day with no explanation. Should not be allowed to work with people. Run!
