He really helped me a lot and was patient with me, he even sat with me before and after class to help me so he's way better than other professors I've had. He really does want everyone to pass so if you put some effort into your work, you will pass. It's true that he does not check the homework but he does give you credit for it none-the-less.

English is stellar, typically those who cannot understand him are the ones who haven't traveled five miles outside of their neighborhood and aren't used to different cultures and ethnicities. Teaches from the book and doesn't credit homework but seriously, why should he? You're allowed to take it home and the answers are in the back of the book!

Vikram was the best math teacher I have ever had. He has helped me work through all of my math classes at BHCC, I failed math in highschool so I anticipated college math to be a struggle. Vikram never gave up on me and always made sure I knew what I was doing before I took an exam, he helped me memorize mathematical formulas! Hes the best!

I took a summer class in the Learning Center with him. Very helpful and very personable. Also, he speaks perfect English with a slight accent. I'm from the South with an accent too but he and I communicated flawlessly. As an older student revisiting college after a decade, I think he was excellent at bringing me back up to speed with the basics.

If you are great at math, this class should be an easy A as long as you do all your homework and pass the test. Had a hard time understanding him most of the time and when I asked to meet out of class, he wasn't available. He does care about you passing and will pass you as long as you do your part.

Ever since the coronavirus outbreak, I had no idea what to do in the middle of the semester. Professor Sagar was very helpful and taught the class on Webex meeting and it felt like I was sitting in the actual class He was always ready to check-in if I was ever confused on what the assignments were. Professor Vikram is the easiest moving class I have had. I now have taken 3 courses Business 101, Accounting, and Business Marketing with him. Every time I take his class he has the same guidelines do the work before the semester ends, except for short essays/papers. He is very flexible and gives you extra credit for turning in work early!

Professor Sagar was a really good source of encouragement throughout the course. He made you feel like math can truly be understood by anyone and he always encouraged you to do your best. It was because of his encouragement that I didn't stress about the final that much and thankfully I did well. His YouTube channel is also pretty helpful.

Really easy going. Reading material is very digestible. Speacially for a class such as Calculus... That being said, the format is great, he allows for multiple tries when you do your homework which helps you get familiar with how the system wants you to imput the answers. Highly recommend it. Provided you are willing to put the effort.

Professor Sagar responds to email very quickly. I take the self-directed class. The workload is reasonable and the tasks and quizzes on Pearson websites are relatively easy to solve. If you send him the final paper and ppt in advance he may waive your presentation! Really fun taking the course!

Excellent professor who is available when you need him. We used Pearson website for content the book was included on the website. Tests were relatively easy as long as you read the material. Tests were given as 20 multiple choice questions with 3 hours to complete. Just make sure you check in with him on occasion.

Professor Sagar is great. He is willing to give you a lot of useful information and the information is really what you need. There are several timed quizzes, but you will see a lot of similar questions in the homework. Finishing all the assignments on time is important. Final is not crazy, put some work in it and you'll be fine.
