This is a hard class. I did not have algebra for two years, he does not review it. You have to know it or find someone who can review for you. All in all, his class is tough but if you do the homework and study you should be able to pass.i am not a fan of math. his tests are hard after the first.

Great teacher..tests are not hard at all if u do the homework..he gives quizzes everyday on material convered that same day with 1 or 2 questions (math problems)

he is great teacher. i'm taking his class now. even though some students asked silly questions, he tries to help them understand. every time lest his class, i unndestand all the problem. it's kind of easy when taking this class. it's really easy when you practice lots of problems in class. highly recommend

I am currently taking this class, although most of the subject matter is easy and he does try to give extra credit. I feel that he covers the material to qucikly and for those who have a hard time with math it can be overwhelming. He is not a bad professor, you just need to have a lot of patience with him.

This dude is friggin awesome. Seriously. Even though this is high-school material, bad teachers can ruin it, but he's not 1 of them. Do the hw, participate, and you'll do great. He makes class fun by making jokes, but sometimes he doesnt really understand some of our questions.then again, maybe some of them are stupid ones.

he is awesome! for all the lazy people out there dont take him! you will fail misreably and end up dropping the class by end of semester. dont miss his class, because he goes over the material pretty quickly and he gives you points everyday! he is the only math teacher at wright that really knows what he is doing

One of the better professors at Wright. He is completely approachable. He does not put anything on the exam that he does not cover. A genuinely nice person.

He is a real good teacher he provides decent about of extra credit so ders no way you cud fail the class but attedence is mandatory to understand the subject

A very good professor. He always gives 2-3 point quiz after a lesson which makes you understand the lesson well. He makes teaching math fun. Highly recommended.

Iv had this teacher for precalc, calc, and calc 2. He is the best teacher in the school to teach math by far! He explains everything clearly and won't give up until everyone gets it. He gives quizes every class out of 100 pts and he gives 130+ pts worth so everying after is EC. U get to use notes on tests m if u mess up u drop one. U can't do bad!!

Very easy class if you like to work and learn. He does not quiz or test you on things he never taught. A quality professor that truly loves his job.

He is hilarious. You can tell that he loves to do his best when it comes to teaching the class. Attendance is very important you might get lost if you miss a day. Do all your hw and make sure you do the Cheat Sheets for his tests. Everything is covered. Don't worry about the quizzes youll do fine if your paying attention. He is great :)

It's very clear what is expected of you. Attendance is mandatory, because he covers subjects very quickly, but at the same time he makes sure that everyone comprehends.

He goes through the material quickly but answers every question a student will ask. He has a good sense of humor and makes tests based on the material he covered. He relies heavily on the textbook so make sure to have your own copy. If you study and don't fall behind you should pass with flying colors.

It is so refreshing to have a professor who actually cares about the sucsess of his students. I am no mathmetician but thanks to this man i was able to complete my final math course towards my major, succsessfully. This proffesor chooses not to give out bad grades like the the others.. THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING PROFESSOR!

he is very good at what he does. if you come to every class, are punctual and do all the homework, there is no reason for you not to get an A or a high B. he is also very funny. one of the best if not the best professors I have ever had.

He is a very hilarious teacher! You will have to carefully listen to him, he talks very funny, but he is funny! He gives quizzes daily, which test if you were paying attention, and he drops the lowest exam out of the four you take throughout the year. He is very reasonable, and collects homework four times throughout the year. Wish he taught Cal 1

He's really funny, he teaches really good, if you don't understand it, you can ask him to help you and he will teach it again. He gives quiz's everyday, which is good cause it helps you learn for the upcoming exams and get your rades high. I reccomend everyone to take him for pre-calc. I wish he taught Calc this semester :(

Regardless of what others say, Professor Duggal is an extremely dedicated to his work. More than willing to lend a helping hand to who ever needs it. More than often will not continue or follow schedule if he notices one student struggling. His method of explaining equations and methods of solving a problem truly simplify it.

Professor Duggal is honestly one of the most dedicated and inspiring professors I've had the good fortune of being taught by. Make sure you come to class on TIME, pay attention, do your homework, and you'll do well in this class. He gives quizzes on every little topic which seems annoying at first but it's all really helpful.

I took Math 118 with proffesor Duggal and I am so happy I did! If your like me and have a fear of math to the point it gives you anxiety, take him! He is hilarious and goofy but at the same time he really knows his stuff and breaks it down for you. He wants all his students to succeed, not just in class but in life. By far the best at Wright !

The professor is funny and also inspirational. He cares for every student, learns their name and makes sure EVERYBODY understand material by giving a pop quiz with 1-2 questions from his lecture .He checks the pop quiz quickly to see how many understood then he explains for the shy ones. He has an accent but he speaks loud and clear. COOLEST!

I'm taking math 143 and he's outstanding. I've read some other reviews that say he moves too quickly, but he has a ton of office hour availability for that, and I'm thankful he doesn't move at the pace of the slowest student, yet he does do an extra example or two if MOST of the class is confused. He's energetic, interesting and good at his job.

Duggal is an awesome teacher, he explains every subject clearly. You can expect everyday quizzes that are so easy you will be literally asking for more of them lol. His exams are tough but he does a good job at letting you know what you need to learn. He truly cares for his students, he wants you to learn and that can not be said by many teachers.

He is such a great teacher, extremely helpful, down to earth. His personality is just the greatest, if you don't understand something and you let him know, he will take the time in class to explain it to you, so that you are clear on the material and so everyone else is. He makes his class environment very inviting. Just take him! Seriously

Pre-calculus class i took to brush up since it had been 10 years. grade was over 100 percent. the guy gives you every opportunity to learn, and slows down for anyone who asks, I was actually shocked at the level of review he was willing to go into with individual students during class, but hey, that's the mark of a guy who cares about his students.

I thought i'd never pass this class couse I absolutely hate math but he made this class fun and interesting actually! Prof. Duggal is a great. He is very down to earth and candid in his class when relating the importance of the material he teaches When taking his class, expect a lot of quizzes, as many as two or three per class session. I liked this because it provided good practice and feedback on the material. I only wish he taught higher level maths.

Took precal and cal 1 with him. Great teacher not tough grader at all. Do review sheet be4 exam and I was surprised to see exactly SAME problem on exam. Lot of quizzes but healthy for you because those ended up being xtra credits. You want it! I wish he teach higher math classes so I can get more easy As ! I always had math nighmere but it was over

Dr. Duggal is a fantastic teacher. I had just taken him for a Math 118 class and yes the course is hard but with the right tutoring and asking the teacher for help you can pass with a good grade. The hard works pays off. I would take him again and again. Wonderful teacher and super nice man.

Just follow his step, come to class everyday, there are 4 test, but SUPER EASY, all multiple questions only 20-25 questions, and same thing with midterms and finals. Do your HWK, its worth 10 points, and he does give us 1 extra credit. I recommend everyone take his class for Math.. GOOD LUCK!

Prof. Duggal is a great professor his style of teaching consists in briefly explaining the concepts and after starts to do practice problems in the book. Make sure you follow him when he is doing the practice problems he doesn't show all the small details when solving the problem. So stay sharp. He gives his students chances to get back on track.

Really good at explaining things, and if you need help, hes not afraid to start over to explain it again. Hell ask everyone in class if they understand before he moves on.

Lets you use a cheat sheet during exams, gives PLENTY of make up tests, homework is basically extra credit -- there's no reason to get any lower than a B in the class. He sometimes skips steps, but if you ask him to go slower he'll gladly demonstrate.

He's explaining everything very well. Doing a lot of problems in class, shows how to solve them step by step. Giving a lot of homework, but only to prepare you for the tests, which are being given quite often so you can still remember all the topics. Really nice guy

You won't receive a teacher in mathematics like this teacher in college. He gives his lectures in a way that everyone can understand. He keeps the environment of the classroom safe so anyone can ask questions without judgment. He is also very inspirational, inside and outside of class.

Prof Duggal is a super cool and funny. While calc is a tough subject, he takes some of the pressure of. He goes fast but the homework and quizzes are decent, nothing too hard or too easy. He takes some time outside of his class to do reviews which is great bc you can tell he actually wants to help students who struggle. Hes also pretty laid back.

This professor was amazing. He does all that he can do so he can see his students receive a A or B. Although the one and only negative thing about him is that he would stop the lecture and talk about random things, he gets his job done.

Vinay Duggal is the best; thanks to him I overcame a decade long hatred and fear of math. The Professor spends 25% on theory and 75% of the class period solving problems, answers all questions during and after class, and is both funny and caring. If you do all of the homework and the practice exams, there is no reason you shouldn't be getting an A.

The professor is willing to help you outside of class during office hours, he tries his best to help you understand. Very fair man, I enjoyed his class and his sense of humor. He breaks down problems for you and if you honestly say you dont understand he will help you until you do. Exams are exactly what he teaches and he completes reviews before.

Professor Duggal was THE best calculus teacher I could've asked for at my first semester at college. Would hands down take him again if I had the chance. He is very specific about what will be on the tests. Only a few grades are entered but if you pay attention and do the study guides you'll pass.

Our semester ended online because of COVID19, but he checked up on us and explained everything in great detail thru zoom. Show up, do the work, and you will pass.

Prof Duggal, is by far one of the most generous caring professor you would ever encountered. I came into Pre-Calc not knowing anything, he is easy to ask for anything u need help with. Very compassionate and cares for his students. Untimed Quizzes/ Exams as well as retakes. Phenomenal outstanding teacher!

Professor Duggal is one of the best teachers I had this semester. I'm taking Math 204, a 2 hour math class, but he makes it enjoyable. He cares about his students, loves his job, gives lots of opportunities to catch up, etc. Really cool! Just participate, pay attention, do your homework and you will get an A.

Mr. Duggal is the best professor to have during this period of online learning. He was always changing homework due dates so that we could finish it up and get the best grade. He also left TESTS open for almost a week! His tests were non-proctored and we could go back to them. He really cares about you getting a good grade.

Mr. Duggal was such a good instructor. He gave nice lectures, and made sure everyone understood the concept! His exams he prepared us very well for. please take his class you will not regret it he is an amazing teacher. His exams where about 48-60 questions each, but the questions where SO EASY! I am definitely taking his class next semester.
