He is the most awesome teacher that you will ever have!

Professor Clark aka Vincer is the Man. He is probably one of the best college professors you will ever have! If you have the opportunity to get in one of his classes, take it asap. He has the best personality and actually cares about teaching you.

He's a great teacher. Does voices and acts things out. No homework ever, except to study for tests. Gives a review before the test. Very cool guy.

Easy-A tests, but don't expect to learn a whole lot out of this class- reduces history to a few stories. Shows some connection, but doesn't have depth re: causality. Annoying acting antics.

Light on facts in his lectures, but he does make history fun for non-history types. It's worth taking the class just to hear his stories and see his theatrics. Probably the best professor at MCC.

There are some people who are supposed to be teachers and he is for sure one of them. He actually makes history fun. I had him for an 8:00 class and not one chair was empty all semester. He is awsome!

if college were free, i would have taken this class over and over just because mr. clark teaches it. i did not miss ONE day of class ... and you won't want to either. i dreaded history, but after this class - i changed my major. it was definitely worth my time and money. no one should go to mcc without taking mr. clark.

I took Clark for three dual-credit courses (both American Histories and American Government) and had a blast! He will always be one of my favorite profs. He is interesting and knows how to make history come back to life. You need to take this class if you are going to MCC! If you take his class ask abut the three days he doesn't remember. lol!

A kind man, and a great teacher - my favorite class so far. Take good notes. Multiple choice questions and a short essay for each of the 4 test. He gives essay questions a day or so before the test, so it's easy to prepare. Take him in the lecture hall if you get a chance. Some outside reading req. A gentleman. Funny stories.

Took him for both history classes. If you have read the other reviews you know that you should take him. I found history boring until i took his class. He teaches in the form of stories. No book use, no homework, 4 tests m/c. You may not find him attractive at first but quickly you will. I fell in love with him.

For Hist 1301 or 1302 you can do no better than Vince! I would take ANY class he offered - even if it didn't apply to my degree plan. He is THAT good. All you have to do is show up and listen to pass. Want an A? Copy the outline off the board at the beginning of each class and ask for a study session before each test. All you have to do is ask.

Teaches through storytelling about the history of early America. Puts on a good show. I highly recommend him for anyone who has a hard time learning/retaining details in history classes.

This guy is absolutely amazing at what he does.I had him first thing in the morning and I loved getting up for his class! I got the chills everytime he lectured. i agree with everybody says about vincer. I use to hate history in high school. once i took vince clark for both history class. my major changed every wikely. he makes it fun to learn and to understand the subject. I highly recommened him. his class fell up pretty quick.

History has never been more fascinating! I've always been indifferent to it, but I loved it in his class. I never felt myself glancing at my watch and thinking about how much longer until class would end. I'm lucky enough to be signed up for his HIST1302 class next semester! If you want to take his class, sign up early; they fill up fast.

I am four classes from my BS and Vince is my favorite teacher from Kindergarten to now. I recommend him to everyone I know. MCC is blessed to have him. The only drawback is that he only teaches History. I would take him for every class if I could.

BY FAR the most amazing professor on campus. You'll feel like you're in a movie! He acts out everything and goes through lectures like a storyplay. You will be so enticed it'll be hard to take notes, but he posts every lecture on a podcast. LIsten to them before a test and you'll realize you learned much more than you thought and ace the tests.

Best history professor by far. Do not even need to buy the textbook because his lectures are podcasted and whatever he lectured about in class will be on the exams. A must take.

He also gives a replacement exam (essay) option if your not satisfied with your lowest test grade. I would definitely take him again! I found that making a quizlet was the easiest way for myself to study.

If you like stories, take his class. No history book needed for his class, only one book that is mandatory. The test are easy to take and not a lot of testing. Lecture are great, you only need your notebook and your pencil.

Clark does 4 tests over the course of the semester. After each test is taken that material is in the past. There will never be something you learned the first week of class in the 4th test for instance. Also, he gives the option at the end of the semester to write a essay and use that grade to replace the lowest of your 4 test grades! He's great!!

After the third test he gives an optional take home essay, do this and it will replace your lowest test grade. Gives essay questions before you take tests, super helpful! Final is not cumulative!

Professor Clark tells the most amazing stories. It is like watching a TV about history but a lot more entertaining. Take notes - extremely important. You don't need the book unless you just want to have. He post his lectures online for access but it is best to just come to class.

Amazing history professor, never have been interested in this subject until Clark's class, show up for the interesting lectures and this class is a fun AND easy A.

This professor is awesome! He really cares about his students and offers to stay and help after class ends. He definitely makes history fun and gives lots of extra credit. His class is not hard at all if you show up and listen.

Mr. Clark cares about his students and does everything in his power to help them make a good grade. His lectures are interesting, and he does not assign any homework.

Hes a great teacher and as long as you study and pay attention you will do well.

Took him my first semester at MCC at 8AM and didn't miss one class. I go to UT Austin now and our history profs are no where near how amazing he is. His lectures are like listening to a great book.

Go ahead and register for his class NOW! You won't regret it! Vincer is by far the BEST professor I have ever had. He is such a genuine human being, and he will do anything in his power to help you succeed. He makes history easy to comprehend, and he records his lectures which is very helpful. 10/10 recommend. I took this class during the summer and it was worth the time & experience because you learn interesting information about American History. I read two books that were at a affordable price & awesome. Professor Clark really shows true empathy towards his students and has sincerity in teaching. I do not think anyone could teach history the way does.

Vince Clark is the best history teacher there is. If you have to take a history class, take Vince. He makes you forget that you are in a history class and just tells it like a story. If i could take his class over again, I would take him every semester.

I have taken Clark twice now. He is the absoulte best professor to take for history. His lectures are like stories. The tests are not easy if you do not pay attention. If you miss class he records this lectures and posts them on brightspace. 10/10 recommend for anyone.

When people say he's the best they aren't kidding! His lectures are so fascinating, I typically don't care for history but his class definitely got my attention. His tests follow his storylines that he lectures so you don't need the textbook, therefore the tests are straightforward given you listen. Everyone should take his class at least once!!

He is a great professor, he makes the class very interesting with his lectures and puts them into a story form so that they are easier to remember. He will go around the class every morning and shake hands with everyone and ask them how they are doing, he is very friendly and caring.

Pre-rona: Vincer is a fantastic lecturer, and the best history professor I've ever had. He always greets everyone before class and generally just has a very nice demeanor. If you're taking history it should be with him. Post-rona: He handled the transition to online very well. He continued to record and upload his lectures like nothing happened.

I never thought I would like a history class, but vincer makes this class so interesting. His lectures are actually fun to listen to and not boring. He only makes you do 4 essays which are your test grades. He also post podcast so you can go back at anytime to listen to the lectures.

He does a wonderful job of making history sound fun. He treats history as if it were a big folk tale story and his lectures are an adventure. I took him over a year ago and Im pretty sure I still remember a bunch of those stories. I definitely recommend Mr. Vince if you dislike history. He will turn your world around.

He truly lives up to his ratings. By far, one of the best professors I have had at MCC. Super clear on what he wants. There are a few essays, however, they're super doable and not so time consuming. Definitely recommend taking him for any class.

I absolutely adored Vince. I have never been a history kinda gal, but Vince lectures in a way thats easy to understand and keep up with. He knows how to make you laugh, and makes sure to check up on his students and make sure everyone is okay in and out of school. He truly cares for his students and is an amazing professor. The Vincer is the best Prof. I've Had. He is smart, kind, funny, and works hard to make sure all of his students understand the material. There are very few things you are graded on, but don't worry, you'll have plenty of time to complete them to make sure they're great. He is VERY generous with extensions on late work. TAKE THIS CLASS!

Honestly the best professor I've ever had and the kindest guy ever. I took it during covid for dual credit and he would zoom with us individually on Fridays just to check on us and see if he could do anything to help us. He even came to our high school sporting event. Such a wholesome and incredible guy.

Vince is the best professor you can ask for. All of his lectures are told like stories, and he is very passionate about his teachings and about you as a person. He makes a connection with everyone and is also pretty funny. There are only four assignments (all essays) be he is a really easy grader and it is hard to fail his class!
