He's really nice and kinda looks like Richard Gere. His notes and very straight forward and test questions come right from them.

He's pretty hard but very explicit in his lectures. If you take him, you'll have to take all the notes and peruse notes and book carefully.

His tests are extremely hard. He's not helpful at all. Only take his class if you know you'll be able to go to EVERY class and you have no life and no job. He expects you to read hours every night if you want to pass his tests. Do not take this class. Seriously.

I really liked Dr. Lembo as a person. He's really nice and you can tell he enjoys teaching. His tests are hard though. You can not do well just on notes alone...they're just an outline. You have to read the chapters to do well. He gives a lot of extra credit and that helped me a lot. He is a really cool laidback guy. Take him.

He is hard but an A is reachable. When you get the review go through the book and read and highlight where the answers to the review questions are. They are on the test in that order. The extra credit was watching a video in class and writing everything you see down. It was kinda fun and crazy. You didn't have to make complete sentences.He is hard.

If you have taken Dr. Lembo's class and think he is hard you need to take a really honest look at your study habits. He is a great professor who uses his real world experiences to make the class more interesting. You dont have to read the book, his reviews ARE THE TEST- if you know the review you will make an A on the test. Plain and simple.

Good learning experience. to pass you must be there everytime and take notes. Study the reviews at the end of each chapter and read about it in the book. Not the easiest class but an A is possible. Do all the extra credit you can!! The grades are added not averaged so its easier to pass! Take him if you are really interested in psychology!

He's a pretty cool teacher. I liked him, but he got boring many times. I've learned a lot in there. His reviews are his tests, but they are a bit tricky now and then. You need to know how to study though, if he's hard to you then you don't know how to study. Take ALL of his notes!

Practical teaching style. Very clear about what you need to know for the tests. Allows many opportunities for extra credit. I work full-time and have three Elementary age children and am still doing well in his class without exhausting all of my study time.

If you take good notes and study what he tells you to study you will make an A the extra credit is easy if you do the counceling one, he is very nice and helpful!

Mr. Lembo's class is not one where you can pass off of commom sense, but if you study hard you will get a good grade.I actually think hes a pretty good teacher. But you must be able to do a couple of hours of studying. Good teacher who motivates you!!

How to make a good grade in school: 1.go to class 2.study. Follow this and you will make a good grade in his class. Dr.Lembo grades by the point system and gives alot of extra credit. You cannot miss a class or you will fail that part of the test.

i dont know why prof lembos rating isnt a yellow happy face. students complain because he is strict, no cell phones allowed in class. but he knows what hes talking about in class and he explain everything very well. he is also consistent with his work and curriculum and explains everything thoroughly. if you want to make an A in his course you can.

He was a great Prof. He was very clear and gave you what to study for the test. I made an easy A. He also allows you to drop one test grade and gives you up to 45 extra credit points. He was funny and made class fun. I will be taking him again!

Great professor. Gives "review items" after each chapter gone through in class, which consists of a list of topics for which will be on the exam. Go home and read/write down the information the textbook has to say about the topic and you're golden. Also, up to 45 points of extra credit awarded, and lowest test grade dropped. Easy "A."

Mr Lembo had a strict "no cell phone" policy as if we were in elementary plus he could not hear out of one ear so some ppl made fun of that. he DID seem like he would make u feel like a nut when u asks quests. Challenging, if you're used to the nice, easy teacher - he's not 4u.

Very fair teacher. There is a method to his madness. Everything that he has a rule for is because of students' actions. Read the chapters and pay attention/take notes in class. He gives you review items after each chapter; study the review items and what the book has to say about them and the test will be a breeze. He also gives extra credit.

If you cannot make at least a "B" in Dr. Lembo's Class, YOU are not doing your part as a student. He is strict, attendance is a must, and expects you to read and study. His reviews ARE the test, so how can anyone fail? He is preparing you for college. Be RESPONSIBLE & CHALLENGE yourself. Take his class because he will make you a BETTER student.

I give him a yellow smiley face. You must attend class and take notes. He gives you EC that can make a letter difference in your grade, do it. He even drops your lowest test. If you do not make an A in this class it's not his fault, it's yours. You will be a better student after this class. Easy A. Just do the work. :)

Very fair teacher. He lets you know exactly what is expected of you and what you can expect from him. If you think Dr.Lembo's class is hard, then you have a steep hill in front of you. He gives LOTS of EC and his test reviews are exactly the same as the test. He has a very dry sense of humor which can go right over your head. Overall good teacher.

He's an awesome guy and I really respect him. But his exam are very hard. I study for his class more than I study for Chem or Math and I still can't get and A and I am a 4.0 GPA kind of student. In his defense he is very good at what he does but his exams blow you out of the water!

I really enjoyed Dr. Lembo's class. It was so interesting and I found him hilarious. His tests are difficult. You have to really study hard. A fantastic teacher! He reviews every chapter, and his tests are straight from the book. His lessons are very practical, and he's very patient about answers personal and other questions. His tests are easy if you study. There's LOTS of opportunity for extra credit, you just have to go out of your way for it. I would definitely recommend him.

He's a great teacher & is easy. As long as you come to class, listen to his lectures & read the book you'll be good. His tests are literally based on what he says & the textbook so you HAVE to READ. The final is word-for-word from the previous tests. His grading is strict; no curves or bump ups if you beg BUT he gives 45 extra points. RECOMMEND!

I don't see how people find this class hard. His exams are straight from the book, verbatim actually, granted you have to ACTUALLY READ the book and study, but doing so will make his exams seem "easy". His extra credit is some of the best I've seen a teacher offer.

Great class! Dr. Lembo is very direct with his teaching style, some may be offended but I loved it. A great teacher with a good sense of humor if a bit dry for some people. Sticks to the ISD no matter and is fair about it. Go to each class, take notes, and read the book: you will get an A if not a B; especially if you do his extra credit assignments.

Read the book. Everything on the test comes directly from the book. He's ver consistant and sticks to the CID. I was interested in taking the course, and enjoyed it. He's cear with his teaching and has a good sence of humor. You have to study. I suggest index cards. His class his somewhat but Summer classes are always more challenging.

Dr. Lembo is a character. at first he is scary lots of rules and demands, but that proved helpfull I learned how to discipline myself to keep up w the schedule and at the end I got an A. He will tell you that you should never be reading the book the night before the test, you should only be reviewing, but since some of the test questions are random facts directly from the book, this method did not work for me. Go over the review items in the book before tests, do not review only.

Very clear. Nothing will change. Listen to the lecture, take notes, read the chapter, take the test. He will GIVE you EVERYTHING that will be on the test. NO TRICKS, that does not mean the test are easy. Make flash cards for every chapter and study them and you will pass. Only 4 test as grades.

He only tolerates student-to-student whispering if he likes you, but allows you to sleep in class(I find that ironic).Test answers are straight from the book, so READ! Dr.Lembo is the best professor I have come across. He is crystal clear from the beginning on what is expected and what you need to do to succeed. The fact that I did not get an A is entirely my own fault. You need to be there as much as you can because he will go over specifically what will be on the tests. YOU MUST READ! he is not joking.

Reading the book is mandatory. All (50) exam questions and final exam come from the book and his lecture notes. Lembo gives a oral review on what is on the exam after each chapter. Each exam is over four chapters. Make flash cards, you will do well. Earn extra credit for approved workshops and service learning. There is no reason to fail.

Straightforward guy. You will need the book. It is advised to read the chapter. Oral reviews are given. If you're lazy, read/study those and you will do fine. Won't deviate from the syllabus. I work full time. Only suggestion is another way to earn E.C. Sometimes, neither service learning nor the lectures are possible. I wasn't going to skip class.

He is the best teacher you can have for Psychology. He is very straightforward guy and even gives you tips on how to make an A in his class. He has an oral review at the end of each chapter and everything on the review is on the test nothing else. Take his class because it's very easy. If you study the notes and the oral review then you will make an A on the exams. You don't have to read the whole chapter; instead read the parts of the chapter that are on the oral review. It will save you tons of time. Do the extra credit because it's easy. Don't use your phone in class or talk.

Took Lembo for an 8 week course so it was fast paced, don't take it if you don't want a challenge. Lectures were very long, LOTS OF NOTE TAKING. If you study everyday, YOU WILL PASS.(I got a D, didn't study) Gives reviews for test, read EVERYTHING in the book that has to do with topic. Only gives extra credit once and its hard. Comprehensive final.

The exams come straight from the book. Review all the questions he gives you. Don't just read the definition You need to read Broadly. He was a good professor I liked his consistency. Took him for summer. There were no extra credits.

I loved Lembo but it was a tough class. Tests are difficult and you work hard for your grade. I think half of my class dropped. Whatever you do, DO THE EXTRA CREDIT it can raise you a letter grade. Don't email him asking him to raise your grade, he'll just read it to his class at the beginning of the semester. Don't take if your won't put in work.

If you read, take Supplemental instruction, and study, you'll get an A. He cares if you care.

Very well structured instructor with clear expectations on what to expect along with the right type of added dialogue at certain points throughout the semester. There is much material to learn in the class, but he relates it to the world for better understanding. Do the extra credit and go to supplemental instruction and an A is within reach.

Class is hard but overall good teacher. BE PREPARED TO STUDY! You have to give time for this class. He is the type that believes you have to work for your grade. This is not an easy class but he is a good teacher.

Very Upfront on what he expects from you and doesn't deviate from the syllabus unless their was a mistake on his part. Be prepared to read as not everything covered on the test is in his lecture but after each chapter he does a quick chapter review, outlining what you will need to look for in the book. Dr. Lembo is an AMAZING professor. A lot of people don't give him the credit he deserves. At first I thought he was going to be difficult, but he gives you study tips and tries to make the class is laid back as possible. He gives you reviews for the tests and ALL the answers come straight from the book word for word. All you have yo do is read.

Really good professor he explains everything so you can understand it very well, mostly him lecturing with a power point but he adds humor in them, at the end of each chapter he gives you a "review" that really helps for the test. No home work, and you get 4+ points on each exam for not using your phone.

Mostly what you cover in lecture is on the tests; I would recommend getting the textbook if you can, but if you'd rather save money, just showing up to lecture, taking notes, and using google will allow you to get an A. The only grades you get are the tests; study and you'll be fine, it's not hard.

This class can be bit challenging but it is not hard to pass. The students who struggled the most were usually the ones who NEVER studied and then were surprised when they bombed the test. Professor Lembo is knowledgeable and has a very clear grading criteria. There is only a total of 5 exams (he drops 1 of the lowest test grade). Summer course. No papers to write, and very little reading. I mainly used the textbook to complete the review. Pay attention during lectures and write down everything he mentions during the review at the end of each chapter. Treat the review like homework, define or describe everything and study that before the test. Easy A if you do a little work.

Lembo is a great teacher! This class only consists of notes and around 4 exams(50 questions) and a final. After each chapter of notes he tells you what you need to know so you can find the answers in the book. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY THE BOOK. he gives you a link for the free pdf online. he gives reviews at the end of each chapter that i go to online textbook and write important things about those reviews some details that are not in the slides on lecture, also i used to go to SI sessions , you will need to read and understand the textbook if you want an A. if you want a B or C you can just go to lecture and copy slides.

Dr. lembo is an amazing professor. He is very consistant with how he teacher and he is clear to undersatand. Dr. Lembo is the only psychology teacher Ive enjoyed! I would recommend him to anyone. Ive learned more in his class than any other psychology class.

Hes literally one of the best professors Ive taken . If someone asks a question he makes sure to thoroughly answer it. He gives you what each test is going to be over with specific topixs. No reason to fail this class , this is coming from a C student .
