I originally just took this class because it was a requirement for my program; however, surprisingly enough I learned so much in this course I thought I already knew. What a great professor with tons of insight. Not to mention I received an alternate additional certification during his course I wasn't expecting!! So exciting.

Extremely reasonable, and really cares about whether his students understand the material or not. Firm but fair.

I took this course not really knowing what to expect and WOW! I have obtained so many new skills, and resources in relation to Job Searching Skills. This professor is very knowledgeable in workforce development and made it apparent in that of business communications as well. I feel so much more confident after taking this course.

I've learned so much in this course; and I now feel confident from increasing my career portfolio because of this course.

Good professor and really understanding and chill. Class is really easy if you already know about computers, but if you don't it is still pretty easy and he will help you through it all as long as you show up.

Great professor and extremely reasonable with any assignments that you may fall behind on as long as you give him time in advance to re-look over your work. Very personable and easy to talk to. Assignments are nothing to stress about and the class is very helpful whether you see yourself as a computer wiz or as someone who is just starting out.

Professor V is great professor and really funny. The class is really easy along with the exams and there is only 3. The hw is a bit time consuming but either way its extremely easy.

There were a lot of concepts I really did not understand; however, Professor Calip took the time to ensure that I understood most of the materials to have a good foundation of knowledge in Computing.

Professor Vinny is one of those professors I'd go and have drinks with, no lie. The man is a very respectful and fair. He gives you every possible opportunity to pass this class. Easy to relate too, snappiest dresser, and a great role model for all Professors on campus. Would definitely take his class again.

I honestly did not feel I needed this class but it was required per my ed plan; and I actually learned a lot in this class that can be applied directly to my career portfolio. I would recommend everyone on campus take this class.

Lectures and topics were always made simple and easy to understand. He will help you if you don't understand something and is extremely reasonable regarding grades.

Mr. Calip is a new professor, however he is very knowledgeable on the subject matter and a great person to talk to. Class was fun and engaging, material was a little difficult nonetheless I passed and received a certificate for it.

This Professor truly cares about the students. Everything he teaches you is immediately applicable. Aside from learning the required material-which he teaches in a fun and clear way-I found that I now, thanks to him, know how to actually work online. From basic online organization to handling difficult online tasks, I am confident & prepared.

Professor Calip is one of the kindest professors Ive met thus far at LBCC. He truly cares about his students and wants you to pass the class. All the work is online with two different programs you use for the class. As long as you do the homework you should pass the class. Attendance isnt required (from my experience) Take his class hes the best

Calip is helpful and accessible outside of class hours to assist students with questions or concerns. COSA 30 is a little difficult, but he is there to provide opportunities for students to pass the class. Communicate with him in advance should there be any problems. Calip wants his students to succeed and will help out in any way possible.

Professor Vincent Calip was very inspirational and a true academic motivator.

Prof. Calip was really helpful for this online class, especially since it transitioned to being purely online in the middle of the semester due to COVID-19 (this was written in Spring 2020).

He talks pretty fast but he is patient with his students to help understand the material as well as questions that relate with the students in order to get them to think. It's a shame I couldn't truly experience what he had planned for the class as it would genuinely help me in my job search after school but he has helped me a lot in that regard.

Great teacher works with if you need the help and responds immediately to emails.

I took Professor Calip for COSA 30 online and he is an excellent professor. He really cares for his students and wants them to succeed. Due to COVID-19, he relaxed some assignments and other restrictions on our class, taking pressure off our backs. I highly recommend anyone to take him as their professor, he is really awesome.

Professor Calip is a great teacher. He'll conference zoom you and go over things you don't understand. His class is straight forward and easy to follow. Participation is key, meaning by doing each lecture is determining what grade you want. I've learned a lot and now I am more confident with computers.

Professor Calip was very prompt when I emailed about any questions regarding the assignments I had. Even with the pandemic going on this year, he was understanding of the situations beyond us. There was a lot of work but each set of assignments were due at the end of every month which gave us more than enough time to complete them. Recommend 10/10

Professor Calip really made this class both interesting an passable. There was a fair amount of homework, but as long as you stayed on top of the assignments, it's very manageable. He sent encouraging messages throughout the semester and responded to emails quickly. Highly recommend.

We had in class meetings for about a month before the quarantine happened. During that time, Professor Calip put a lot of effort into making the class interesting. He is a great communicator, and will respond to your emails within a day or so. The class was easy for those who have average knowledge on computers or technology.

Took Professor Calip for Computing for Beginners. He is such a great professor and Made things understandable for you. I took him during the start of COVID and when he transitioned the classes to online it was so simple and easy. He make all the lectures available. I would recommend this Professor for Computer classes.

If you know Programming and Software Analytics, this class will be an Easy A. However if you don't know much about PCs, go with the flow and study, practice as much possible, you will learn a lot and it will benefit in the long run.

I took this course in the Fall 2020 Semester and glad I took it with this professor. He is very easy to understand and communicate with. Vincent Calip is one of the kindest, most caring professors in the Computer/Business Applications department at LBCC. He sends regular announcements to keep students in the loop about class updates or changes. Do the work on time and receive full credit. Take him for an EASY A! He is flexible and committed to student success!

Recently took this professor this summer and I thoroughly enjoyed his class due to his attentiveness and flexibility that he provided for me when I needed help with anything he made time, he made zoom meetings and made sure I understood everything without feeling rushed. I would definitely recommend Mr. Calip he is an awesome person and teacher!

He is the most amazing professor, I called him many times on Zoom to talk with him and let him know how I'm feeling about the class, and he always found time to break everything down as well as crafting the class in a way that best suits me. I had a family crisis last week of school and he not only responded but helped me out so much. 10/10 prof!

Excellent content design, real world relevance. BCOM 222, a class in professional job search skills, taught by Vincent Calip, helped me to get the promotion that I wanted. I always had the talent to get the job, but I was lacking in my interview and resume skills. This class addressed my weaknesses and got me where I wanted to be.

This was my first online course. Professor Calip was very easy to work with, and although this was an online, asynchronous course, he seemed to always be available to help me navigate through the course, elaborate on assignments, and we even did one together online that I was confused about. I think all professors can learn from his teaching style.

Clear instructions from professor, does not accept late work so turn in assignments on time, otherwise, good class pretty straight forward class if you stay on top of the assignments and participate in the discussions.

Professor Calip was very straightforward with his syllabus. Do your work and turn it in on time and you'll be fine. He was very understanding and with proper communication he is willing to help you as he can. Everything is online and no need to get any other textbooks.

It was a great class! Everything was clear and easy to follow. No textbook was required, all the lectures were from LinkedIn Learning. Every week, you would get a certificate after completing a course on LinkedIn which can be used to update your profile. Overall, you would recommend this course.

He is a great professor. Although his grading is not so tough, the assignments do have great meaning to them and can actually help in the long run. It is a no textbook class to save money for the students. We used LinkedIn Learning for free for most of the material. Make sure you turn in all your work though because he does not except late work!

I took Professor Calip's Course, not knowing what to expect; but he structured the class so well, it was very easy to navigate as an online course. I had little to no questions throughout the course because it was very straightforward. He does not accept late work, but gave our class reasonable time frames to complete assignments.

I did not have to purchase any additional course materials in this course. Most if not all of the learning content was accessed through LinkedIn Learning which led to obtaining a lot of certificates in modern business concepts.The final exam provided a certification in Communication Skills.

Great Proffessor overall but he is very analytical on his grading and also does not give you second chances. If you miss classwork you cant make it up only by doing extra credit tests that are very difficult

I took his summer online course! It was a great simple class. The material was easy to understand and get through with clear instructions for assignments. He doesn't accept late work though, his only strict rule but nothing was hard enough not to meet the deadline. Would reccomend.

Great instructor. Online Savvy, answers your email really fast. Course syllabus and Canvas Module is easy to follow. This class requires a lot of work, it's not hard but you have to be willing to put in the time and effort to get all the assignments done. Bonus, you get a certification if you pass the final.

I took Professor Vincent Calip for BCOM 264 and BCOM 15 online in the Fall 2022, Would take again and you will learn in his class. He will work with you to accomplish your goals.

He was a great professor! I did not know how to use it online and He fixed my computer on zoom. I got it. I took professor Calip for BCOM 30 online. that was an easy class and learn to watch on youtube, LinkedIn learning, etc. I would take it again and will learn more in his classes. Great Professor, work was insanely easy.

Super responsive to emails and is incredibly helpful. He only has 3 deadlines that go along with the test deadlines. There are a few assignments that are on microsoft programs, the rest are videos and answer questions and linkedin learning lessons. He is really amazing. Looking forward to more of his classes.
