He is a very fair teacher and his lectures last 20 mins tops. He teaches you what you need to know and nothing more. He come across as sarcastic and sassy but he really isn't that bad. He helps you out if you do HW and he'll take time to explain things to you if you ask him. Otherwise, on your own.

You will learn only what is on the test. Questions of more than the most basic variety are answered with "That's not on the test" or "That's not assigned". Great teacher if you just want to get through a requirement and get a good grade. Very sarcastic. Willing to help individuals who ask.

Very straight forward. Pay attention to what he says his guidelines for passing are. His test reviews are thorough. There are no surprises. With any small amount of effort you will pass this class. Pay attention and it's the easiest A you'll ever get.

Go to class, pay attention. Easy teacher, easy class if you do those to things. I hate math, but love to come to Grosso's class. He is straightforwrd, just like his quizes. It is only as hard as you make it yourself with him.

This is professor to take if you are slacker and need easy A. You will not learn probably much, as he teaches only first 20mins and only what is on the test. Also allows student one page (both sides) of notes for the tests. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FAIL THIS CLASS!!!!

It is just the first day of class and im already enjoying it!! I feel like im going to love his teaching. He makes everyone laugh and enojoy their time in math. I mean who likes math?! I absolutely HATE math, hence why I took Liberal Arts. I had no trouble with his class. Tests were open book/notes. He doesnt take attendence, and doesnt lecture long, but he talks fast, and rushes through everything. He gives you the opportunity to stay and ask questions if you need to though, so if you really need help, he gives you the chance.

If you're looking to become a mathematician don't take him. I took his class to meet Gordan Rule (not because I like math) so I loved him! His lectures are short (giving you time to do hw/ask questions) and his tests are open book/note. He can be sarcastic but he does it cause he thinks he's funny NOT be rude/inappropriate. Mr. Vincent Grosso is an excellent instructor and is set of having his students pass his class. He offers help when asked so do not be intimidated by his fast pace teaching and raise your hand if you do not understand. He usually has 5 tests and drops lowest text grade. Do classwork and you should be fine. The homework is the extra help.

Professor Grosso made the class so easy. Only 5 tests and he drops the lowest score. Took it over 6 weeks and still did fine. Doesn't grade homework either. Tests are only 10 questions each. I would definitely take him again.

This instructor has been a life saver, Math is my weakest subject. Having taken the class multiple times with teachers who move too quickly through the information, or don't want to be there, this instructor was a refreshing change. A subject I dread I am now excited to learn, knowing I'll have the help I need to understand it.

Math has never been the subject i love, i've hated it in the past. I've had a good teacher before but rarely one that could go at my pace and simply show me what the deal is with this numbers and letters thinking game. Grosso is the best, he reviews anything you want and will explain until you truly get it with humor and many catch phrases.

The only reason I'm finally getting my degree is because of this man. I passed two semesters with him (mat1033 and mgf1106) and am so thankful. Did a 6 week class. Homework is done in class. He does not use Connect or Alek, and you don't have to purchase the book as he does everything in class. Your grade is based on 4 Test grades, you don't have to turn in the homework its primarily to prep you for the tests. Class is based on 5 tests with the option to only take 4 if you do well.

ONE OF THE EASIEST CLASSES EVER!If youre taking a major that isnt math focused dont play yourself and take any other teacher!He is so amazing. Take good notes and do all the examples because he lets you use the notes and half the quizzes were take home so thats a given A.I got 100% on all my quizzes. Dont buy book & dont have your phone out

He's a simple professor. You will learn if you go to class. there's 4 tests and a final. He's very sweet and will help you if you ask for it

A very sweet, down to earth and sarcastic guy. He has been teaching for so long that he gives to the point lectures that leaves you understanding the material and getting out of class way early. He wants you to do well so you can just drop the last test and take two weeks off of the semester. Hard to fail, also hard to not enjoy his class. GREAT

simple and straightforward, if you are not so good at math, take him. He teaches his lectures in under 30 minutes and the class is over. Quizzes are open notes. He will not let you fail. He is a big jokester and aims to make the class enjoyable. Beware, he is sarcastic so do not take what he says personally. Really sweet guy. Won't let you fail!

This professor was hilarious. Had him a couple years ago in 2017. I remember a couple of days before the big hurricane was going to hit he just automatically passed everyone who showed up to class that day and sent us home. Such a real one.

One of the best professors BC has. Took him during the summer, so it was easy. Four quizzes, a group project, and he would give a 20-30 minute lecture and let students leave or stay to ask questions. I would definitely recommend Professor Grosso to anyone for math. He makes it SUPER EASY to understand.
