this man is incredibly difficult, no extra help, no online help NADA, so basically youre screwed!
very smart in eco, knows his stuff... not meant to be a teacher
one of the best teachers i've had at the university, i like him a lot! tells funny stories but gets all the info across that you'll need to know for the tests...highly recommended!
Very good professor! The review sessions really help you prepare for the exams.
He knows his stuff! So intelligent. Only Econ class I actually learned something. Need to go to class though. Tests are kind of hard but manageable. I am terrible at Econ and I got a B+
I took economics last year and hated it. This year I loved it! Tests are pretty easy. Go to class! The tests are based on what he says, not really what's in the book, although it helps with clarification. He is a really good teacher.
Very good professor. Knows what he's talking about and makes it very easy to understand- even though the class is long and can get boring. I learned more in this class than any other.
Most thorough professor I've had, but material is very hard for anyone that's not an econ/business major. Have to like economics to like this class. Definitely helpful teacher, but tests were impossible. One of the hardest classes I've taken at UD, but with a few all-nighters, still pulled off a B.
The class is on the difficult side, and Marra is kind of a hard grader on homework. He basically knows what he's talking about, but sometimes needs to stop and think for a while. Tests were okay, with some difficult questions and some easy questions. He's a nice person though, and easy to talk to
Nice guy. Helps you out with any problems, gives semi-hard tests, but gives easy homeworks. See him during office hours if you have any questions, he will help you.
I don't like econ at all but he makes it very easy to understand. Definitely the most organized teacher I've ever had. His tests can be tricky but show him you're interested in the subject and he'll help you out. Great professor!
SUCH a hard class. He does know what he's talking about, but doesn't necessarily know how to convey it to the class. Homeworks help your grade out, but tests are hard. His teaching style is difficult if you need applications and not just formulas to learn.
THE MOST BORING CLASS IN HISTORY, but required so your screwed. Prof is okay, does his best, but material is the world's best sleep aid, even Aderol won't help you in this class. He is very helpful out of class, but grades hard on homework. Tests are on the difficult side if you don't take notes. Book is worthless, tests are from notes. Moderate b
Memorize the concepts like you did for HARRIS and you will fail the first test. Memorize your notes and you'll fail the second test. Re-do technical questions over and over and you will fail the third test. Homework cushined three fail tests to a C...
Most boring class ever. but Prof. Marra is a sweetheart so you can't hate him. He's VERY helpful outside of class and will explain the material to you until you get it. Exams are very difficult and you can't miss a class. must take good detailed notes. Homeworks are manageable but he's a hard grader. if you need this class take it w/ him.
This guy knows what he is talking about. Class can get boring but he's a great teacher. Tests are a little difficult but pretty straight forward if you know the concept. I recommend him for any econ class.
Vince is the man, econ302 isn't so much fun but this guy is awesome to take it with to make it bearable. Very personaable and down to earth. Makes you feel more like a friend instead of a student in his class. Good professor to have
Good guy for a hard class you have to take.
He makes it impossible to get an A in this class. Most test averages are around 70 percent. If you took macro and micro in high school and covered banking and monetary policy already, it does not matter because you will most likely not get an A. However, Marra is a nice guy for the most part and knows the information. Also, do not argue with him!
marra cares so much about economics and he genuinely wants everyone in the class to really "get" the material. he is always available to help & is beyond nice about it. great instructor, goes above & beyond. just don't be late, that's his pet peeve.
very fun prof. made a rather boring class interesting and fun. dont ever be late... EVER... will call you out. tests are annoying but easy if you study. dont buy the supplement, not worth the $20. didnt look at it at all and got a B, my friend got an A
Completely objective: Class is slam head through the wall boring, and will take up a lot of your time. Tests are ambiguous and require thorough understanding of material. Professor is generally a nice guy, with a military cut and dry teaching style. Avoid if you can, if cannot, study with others and ask for help, you should pass at least.
Explains things pretty well, dont buy the book, has review sessions, class can be challenging but its passable
Even though this class is a little hard and you do need to be there and pay attention, Professor Marra is the sweetest man I have ever meet. He goes out of his way to make sure his students understand the material. Im not that fond econ but im considering taking another econ class just so I can have Marra again.
Hard class. don't go by the book... just study his notes (dont skip class, and DON'T be late)..just use the book for stuff you missed in class. i studied a day before each test, just studied the notes and got an A. Marra is hysterical, take this class.
Great Professor. Everything on the tests comes right from the notes. He relates the material to today's economics and is very open-minded. I had him for winter session and he made the class enjoyable and was willing to help.
He was very clear his tests were decent and I shouldve studied harder. The book was really just for clarification and his tests were straight from the book. I really like Professor Marra and I recommend his class.
Tough teacher. Tests don't really follow notes or textbook, but if you already know economics, you'll do well. Review sessions are pointless. don't take honors if you can help it - even told us we cover 3x the amount of material as the regular kids. final is regular and honors, though. ok guy, but not a great class
Nice Guy. His tests follow what he discussed in class. Take his honors 151 class. He enjoys class disccusions. Trys to make class fun.
The best professor to have for Honors151! He knows his stuff, does a good job explaining it, and is extremely helpful during office hours as well. Exam are really difficult, but you just need to make sure you put a lot of time into studying if you aren't one of those people that get economics right away. Definitely recommended!
One of the best professors I've had. Class was always interesting, tests were straight from the notes. Never had to open the book. Nicest guy to talk to. Didn't know much about econ before this class, but I'm now considering it as a major because of Marra. If you can, get him as a teacher.
whoever wrote these last three reviews are morons. he is a nice guy, but he doesn't teach what's on his tests. prepare to get random ass questions on tests that you go over for 2 seconds in class. exams are tough - avoid him if you can
BEST TEACHER EVER! WE WENT GOLFING TOGETHER AND HE IS THE MAN!
He is the best economics professor EVER! For those with the negative/mediocre posts, you shouldn't be in college if you can't handle the challenge! It's not meant to be a cakewalk! Take him for any/all economics classes. Awesome guy. Nice as can be. Here's an equation...Go to class + study = good grade. Wow!
Not a very good teacher. The material was not that difficult but often put tricky questions on quizzes which he either did not talk about or mentioned for about a second in class. The class itself had 12 ten question quizzes with the 2 lowest scores dropped. There is also a cumulative final. Uncaring towards students and unwilling to compromise.
Great teacher. Pretty fly for a white guy.
I love Professor Marra. He is a great teacher and makes class interesting. I thought I was going to fail econ because I'm a moron in the math department, but he made me want to go to class and learn. He's really funny, and a total cutie.
Professor Marra is the man, extremely easy to understand in class and has very good notes. You really only need to study the notes you take in class, I didn't crack open the textbook ONCE. He grades you on 3 tests, all pretty easy if you study your notes. I recommend him.
Doesn't follow his syllabus part of our grade was homework but then he never gave us any. Instead he just made test count as more! He is also very unorganized on the last day of class he still didn't know what his grading scale was. Seems more difficult then an econ100 class should be
Professor Marra is a hard teacher but he is also a very good teacher. Definitely prepare for his tests. Also, GO TO CLASS! His class is pretty interesting, and if you stick it out he can be pretty funny. Even though I don't really like Econ that much I definitely enjoyed this class
This class is really interesting and the lectures are good but it's much more challenging than a 100 class should be. I attended nearly every class, took incredible notes, and studied for hours, and I still only got a C. I'd recommend trying to get another teacher if you need to take ECON100.
Marra's a really good teacher. I had to take econ in highschool and hated it and never understood a word. Marra made things clear and as easy as econ can get. Class is still hard, and you really need to go to class, but he made it enjoyable. very nice and funny.
Try not to take his class! Took it during summer, highest grade in class was B.
Such a great teacher! I've never liked econ ever in my life but Professor Marra made it so easy to understand. Hes a sweet man, tries to make you laugh in class. He really cares that you succeed in his class. I would recommend him to everyone!
He makes the material interesting and easy to understand, but still a pretty hard class
Really nice guy. Re-write the notes and the tests will be pretty straight forward. Tough grader for tests and hw. If you are looking for a walk in the park do not take this guy. Overall good professor though.
Marra is a great professor! He's hard and the class is probably harder than econ 100 should be but he teaches well and you get your money's worth with this class. GO TO CLASS and try to pay attention because his quizs are tricky. Offers lots of help though.
Very tough class. Very tricky and confusing exams. Not a good teacher. Not helpful. I would recommend to avoid this class.
Great professor, has a passion for economics. you NEED to go to class because 70% of course grade are quizzes given every friday. Drops 2 lowest quiz grades. Don't need textbook if you attend lectures. Not an easy A but definitely not impossible to get one.
Nice guy that wants to help you out. First and only class I ever withdrew from in college. Class average was 54% on the first exam.
Nice guy although tests are very hard. Doesn't always explain the reasoning behind the calculations.
This class is ridiculous. Marra is the worst teacher, he just lectures the whole time and expects everyone to understand economics. The tests are impossible, even if you study forever. If you have old exams, take this class because his exams are the same as old ones. If not, youre screwed.
Hard class, but great professor. Very interesting and helpful. Take Marra!
Class is supposed to be calculus based, but he prefers you memorize his forms of equations. Grades heavily based on algebra even though he is terrible at it. Poor understanding of mathematics; thinks a derivative is an approximation to a slope. Memorizes solutions for class lectures--catastrophic b/c he cannot correct mistakes on the spot.
don't take this class if you have the option. His lectures were torture, and his exams were too hard for a 100 level class. He ruined ECON for me. He doesn't give out quizzes, so your grade is based off 4 extremely difficult exams. I find it hard to believe anyone could pass.
I hate math and was dreading econ, although I got C+'s on most of my exams he was an amazing professor. He explains things super clearly, always bringing in helpful handouts and other objects to help you understand it. I wouldnt since most of the exam is lecture, he never relies on the book or for you to teach yourself. Every1 should have totakethis
I thought his lectures were very clear and interesting. He takes attendance but it is important to go anyway since he covers everything on the exams in class. I really learned a lot about econ in one semester.
Professor Marra breaks down Econ in a way that students can understand it. Even though I was hesitant to take this class, I found it to be well worth it. Always attend lecture and take good notes. Skim the book. Tests aren't super easy, but they're fair and if you study you should be able to do well.
The lectures were interesting but the exams were so difficult. If you are not an econ major then you would find this class a little hard. He was a great professor though. He said that most students get C's in his class, so he knows how hard it is.
His lectures are unclear, he has no clear path through the textbook, his exams are difficult and he doesn't cover the material that's on them. He will fail you on his assignments if you walk in a minute late. AVOID THIS GUY.
Marra is a great guy. He truly cares about economics and cares about his students. He's very intelligent. But if you just attend and take notes, you will FAIL this class. You must read the book and FULLY understand the concepts BEFORE you attend the lectures. This class was my first truly difficult class in college, but I learned a lot.
Exams are very difficult but 301 is a weed-out course. Professor Marra is an absolutely awesome professor, put it the time and you will be fine as long as you are intelligent, otherwise drop the econ major
I think your grade in this class will really reflect on how well you pay attention and really understand the material. Everything that is on the tests are things that were clearly explained in class. Never miss any classes because although attendance isn't mandatory, going to class is what gets you the good grade.
Although he taught my 100 class, I thought it was way harder than it should have been. It's really important to pay attention and take good notes because his tests cover what he talks about in class. A lot of the questions are worded difficultly so you need to really know the material. Tests are hard.
I had no background of Econ at all but I expected it to be harder than my other classes. professor marra is so nice, really gets to know his students and makes the material as clear as possible. His tests are fair.
Took him over winter session. The class flew by pretty quickly, and when he discussed the topics in class they made lots of sense and were very interesting. But when it came time to exam, the exams were multiple choice and extremely tough. Based more off the book than his notes. He is a good teacher and a good guy, but exams are a lot hard.
Look, I took 301 Spring 2013. I'm a CHEG major looking to fulfill an ECON minor. I took ECON 151 (Fall) and 152 (Winter ) prior to this class and I found it to be reasonable. For most, the math is the problem with this class. I went to his office hour maybe once a week to review the problem sets (6). Overall, got an A-, one of few in the class
He sort had a hard time explaining topics clearly and would make mistakes when going over problems. Attendance is nearly mandatory to even pass. Thought his class was rather difficult, i would suggest taking another professor for this course. 6 prob sets, 4 exams including final.
Professor Marra has no idea how to teach an economics course. He is disorganized, ambiguous, and unhelpful to the point of being rude or even agressive. Avoid this professor for 302 if at all possible.
This professor is terrible, he could not care less about the performance of the class. The tests in no way reflect what was learned in class, nor in the textbook.
professor marra was unclear about the entire class and his tests did not reflect much of what he said in class. The textbook was not used at all. I highly recommend not taking him.
This is a great class with a lot of Interesting, relevant material. Marra knows what he's talking about and is more than happy to help. The tests are extremely hard-class average is usually around a 65-70%. MUST go to class, take detailed notes, and READ THE BOOK. Work hard, and you'll be okay.
professor madras course was not an easy A i would study for at least 4 days to tests and didn't get over a 75 on the tests. BUT he is a very good teacher and makes everything clear. he wants to make sure you understand the material and learn rather than handing you an A. difficult tests but great teacher and person
Avoid this section of the class at all costs. Marra is obviously knowledgable about the material, but his tests in no way reflect his presentation. Absurdly difficult for an introductory course, with a cumulative final, and no review of prior tests available. Please save yourself.
If you are taking an online class for macro, Marra is the professor you want. His lectures reflect the majority of his tests and he explains concepts coherantly . The B in the class is always a 79, so theres always room to improve
Dr. Marra makes it very difficult to do well in this class. You have to study very hard, and make sure to be very specific on exams. He grades exam questions and homework sets very harshly-- even if you get the correct answer, you may not get full credit. You have to attend class as well-- would not take again.
He knows what he is saying however in class he is jumbled and is not organized at all. My notes were very scattered and not detailed because of how he taught. He is a nice guy but should not be teaching this class.
DO NOT TAKE HIM FOR ECON308. I hated this class and the way he fought it. He stood in the front of the classroom and lectured for 50 minutes, hardly writing anything on the board, or using slides. Questions on the test came out of no where.
Very unorganized and vague. He will assign homework but fail to tell you about it, instead just posts a word document online. He shows up unprepared. It takes him about 40 minutes to "explain" one question but you still won't understand. Won't explain what is on the exam. Lectures without slides or notes for anyone but himself. Also monotone voice.
He is not as knowledgeable as someone would expect an university professor to be. Most of time he is unable to explain things clearly. You hardly know how to prepare for exam because he gives you little hint.(and he seems unwilling to). Avoid this class, and you will save yourself a lot trouble.
Not only are the exams extremely difficult, but also you will learn nothing during the course. Purposely makes everything harder than it needs to be. Refuses to answer questions about exams. Doesn't give adequate examples. Talks to the chalkboard instead of to the class. Wastes about 50% of the class time on material not on exams. Do NOT take him.
Marra's online macro class was pretty well setup. If you watch the lectures, you don't really NEED the textbook other than just for clarification if you feel it necessary. Lectures are lengthy, anywhere from 60-90 minutes, so give yourself ample time to watch them. Wording on tests are kinda hard. Do practice problems from the book & you're good.
I took his Economics course as a Grad student, consisting of Micro and Macro-Economics. Dr. Marra kept the class engaged and interesting and if you pay attention, you may not need the text book at all. Despite not having a business background, I now have a new found appreciation for Economics, having taken this class.
Grade wasn't as high as I wanted but that is a given, due to the structure of the online exams. Exams were frustrating due to technical issues and lack of paper and pencil. That being said Marra, taught the material extremely well and his lectures were actually very interesting. I recommend this professor, due to his vast knowledge of the material
Honestly the worst prof I've ever had. Wouldn't recommend at all beyond the 100 level. Pretty disorganized, and its hard to even tell what tests will be on. Makes a fairly simple course frustrating as hell. Has open ended problems on tests that other 308 classes sometimes don't have to worry about
Overall he's a pretty fair guy. As long as you study you'll do good.
Entire class is based on 3 exams and a final. The lectures are really outdated, especially for a class that discusses current economic events. It's fairly difficult to prepare for the exams because he tends to ramble, but focus on formulas and use his exam topic outline. The textbook isn't particularly helpful or necessary.
Dont take him for 308. He is vague & disorganized so you never know what will be on the exams. HW is tough & he doesnt tell you about due dates. Unforgiving, unflexible too difficult for what this course needs to be. Also he makes you buy the newest edition of the book thats $100 more but you don't need the book at all. He likes class avg to be a C
Professor Marra is truly the best professor I've had at UD. His lectures are clear, organized, and highly in depth. You'd be hard-pressed to find a more knowledgable professor at UD to teach this course. Exams (3 midterms and a final) are exactly what you'd expect if you go to class and take good notes. This class was the highlight of my semester.
Marra was great to take online! Definitely budget your time if you're taking it over winter because the lectures are pretty lengthy, but Marra explains things SO WELL and he's really detailed. Didn't touch the textbook, but did the practice problems and ended with a B. Exams can be tricky, but review your notes and you'll do fine
I had a lot of trouble in professor marras class. Although I passed I found the material to be extremely difficult. Don't get me wrong hes a great guy and im sure hes a cool dude outside of school but I never knew what to study for the tests and I struggled on them. Class is gonna be difficult no matter who u take without a doubt.
Professor Marra is a good teacher but if you take his online class it is hard to have him reexplain topics through an email. His online lectures are much longer than any other class i have taken.
Stone cold man who is super boring. The lectures are so dry and the class isn't interesting at all. The tests are super long so you never have enough time to finish and questions are tricky. Do not recommend
I took Professor Marra's ECON103 Winter Session online class, and I was pleased with the quality of the lectures. As long as you watch every lecture and take notes, the tests are not too difficult. The book isn't absolutely necessary but it can clear up some things that are confusing in the lectures. Overall I would recommend this professor.
Marra is a GREAT guy, but a HORRIBLW professor. If you go to office hours he can be reasonable. But the class structure, and his exams are awful. 50 minutes is not long enough for his exams, like at all. He doesn't capitalize on technology use, and doesn't do any practice questions similar to exam. I had a 4.0 last semester & that's ruined now
Probably the worst professor I've had at UD.
I struggled a lot in Marra's class, and I agree with most comments that his lectures are long and boring, his exams are way too long for the time allotted, and that there aren't enough practice questions similar to the exam. If you go to his office hours he tries to be very helpful and is a pretty cool dude, however this class ruined my GPA
His lecture is confusing because of his low voice and because he stops too many time. It makes students taking online course so difficult to pay attention. He doesn't have powerpoint, just some notes during lecture, most of the notes is about example instead of definition or important details. What's in his test is not completely covered in lecture
Grade is based on 4 exams. Test material is difficult to translate, requires deep levels of understanding and advanced, multi-step thinking .Grade aren't posted until the very end! Syllabus: "final course averages vary from semester to semester, so a precise determination of letter grade cutoffs is impossible to determine w/o actual exam scores."
Not only is the material boring, but his lectures are dry and hard to follow. His exams are long and there is NEVER enough time to finish. His lectures do not prepare you for the exams at all. If you have the opportunity take it with another professor, if not best of luck to you and your GPA.
The way Marra grades/curves exams is super fair. As long as you watch all the lectures and take good notes, then you really don't need to read the textbook. HIGHLY recommend taking this class with Marra and online. Easy A as long as you put the effort in. No HW, only grades are 4 Exams.
I have a 3.9 GPA and I put more effort into getting a B+ in this class than I did combined to get 4 A's and an A- in 300 level courses the previous semester. If I were as smart as I think I am, I'd have dropped the course as soon as he began bragging about maintaining a 2.4 GPA for his 308 class. One person in a class of 25 got an A.
Marra's definitely a tough teacher, there's no way around saying that. The class is based on only 3 unit tests, 1 final, 3 homework assignments, and attendance, which is a must for this class. I failed 2 tests but he somehow hooked me up with a C. Overall, he was a nice guy but his class was just too much. Avoid if possible...
Marra definitely knows what he is talking about, but his online lectures can be pretty boring. I really enjoy economics, so it wasn't that bad for me, but the lectures are pretty long. I think he explains things fairly well, but because the grade consists of 3 tests and a final, you definitely have to pay attention and take notes.
This course ruined my GPA. The grade consists of 3 tests and a final weighted . I took the four tests in the UD testing center. Lecture materials are boring because the professor stops a lot and the unadjustable speed is slow. Tests are difficult.
Never done a rating before but for Marra I feel I had to. He is by far the worst professor Ive had at the university of Delaware and I would avoid him at all costs. I did above the class average on every exam that he gave, yet ended the class with a C. Gives you nothing to practice and leaves you in the dark for every exam. DONT TAKE HIM.
Took this class online over the summer. The exams are manageable as long as you watch the lectures and read the book. There is no other option to earn points but the 4 exams so that makes it harder to earn a good grade. However, overall this class was ok. I definitely learned a lot but I think it was too hard for an intro class
Absolutely terrible professor. Exams are insanely difficult and he gives you no direction as to what the exam is like. You get no sample problems recommend you avoid taking this class.
he did nothing for the course. all through mcgraw hill and SO easy. Just do your homework and go through the reviews for each unit before you take the exam. i got a 98% on the final and a 100% on everything else. SO easy. 10/10 recommend for a GPA boost and a breadth
If you're a non-econ major take this class online. Super easy. Everything is done through McGraw Hill. Final is easy. 50 questions, 2 hrs to do. A lot of questions were the same from homework, and literally every answer is found online lol. I barely tried and got an A. The only reason I gave prof a 3 is because he NEVER sent any update or reminders
I don't ever do one of these so for me to me writing this, you know it has to be bad. He continuously makes errors while teaching and makes the material very hard to understand. Very disorganized so you should be ready to teach yourself the material. Avoid at all costs if you can it's not worth the stress.
Prior to taking this class I was extremely skeptical after reading reviews online about the difficulty and teaching style of the professor. However, the lectures are straightforward and the material in the exam is laid out in a study guild. The only way to not be able to do the math is if you are at the intellectual level of a 4th grader.
Very nice man, but the course was absurd. It was less about Econ than Calculus and Algebra! Lectures with handwritten notes on an overhead projector that doesn't seem to line up; class members continually had to ask to reposition the materials. Quizzes and exams were sneaky, math-intensive, and far too short for the material.
One of the worst experiences I have ever had in a class. The only grades in the class are three tests and a finalGives ZERO information on what the tests will be like. After each test he explains how terrible we all did, but refuses to curve the grade. In my class there was a question where 94/100 students got It wrong and he did nothing about It.
The worst online experience. The entire class is just handwritten notes and his finger pointing at things.
This was the worst class I have ever experienced. You are graded on 3 tests and a final which are all challenging. He is not very clear on what questions to expect on tests either. The majority of exam questions are lecture-specific too. He's a nice guy but his lectures get boring. I would avoid taking 308 with him if you can.
This guy gives zero resources when it comes to tests which are very difficult and the only grades in the class. His lectures are brutal to try and sit through. The exams are difficult and it is unclear what material is even covered. In a time where it seems you have to teach yourself to do well, he makes it impossible.
He gave us no homework, just test. This man is a horrible teacher. our class average on all tests were in the 50s. Everyone I know was failing. Hes also super boring. he literally blames all his students for failing. I wouldnt recommend. I had to change this class to pass or fail thats how bad it was.
The only thing that goes into your grade are 3 exams that were all multiple choice but his lectures are hard to pay attention to since they're not engaging at all if you aren't super interested in ECON. Make sure to do the chapter problems before the exam (he also posts pdfs of them with solutions) & go to recitation
Honestly do not waste your time taking this class with him. All we do during lectures is do practice problems, he does not post any type of notes, and he is the most BORING PERSON. He makes this class unnecessarily hard for a class that has easy concepts.
I learned more about Organic Chemistry than in Econ 308 and I'm a business major. Unless you like teaching yourself the entire class, 50 average on most tests, and spending weeks studying just to fail, I'd pass.
Do not take this class with professor Marra. He is an awful teacher, he talks to the floor most of the time. Every person I have talked to in this class has failed the first exam and put almost 50 questions on it with only 50 minutes to take. Do not take this class
worst professor I have ever had. the average of our first test was a 50 and he did nothing about it. Gives out no notes and all he does is blabber. i'm so confused on how he still has a job here? I dont think I will end up passing his class but it is my mission to have him under investigation and fired. He is horrible horrible horrible. LAZY.
DO NOT TAKE HIM! I didn't listen to the reviews and regretted it. I had to get a tutor to do well in this class. Marra is so unorganized with grades on canvas. No curves even when the average is a failing grade. Blames students for everything. SO BORING. Lectures are him talking about his hand drawn confusing graphs. Absolutely not.
u guys won't have to worry about Marra anymore because he is retiring, but overall the grade is made up of the 4 exams u take. he doesn't curve individual exams (even if the avg is failing lol) but he does curve the overall course grade at the end of the semester. as long as you're near the average on the exams you will be fine :)
Do not take professor Marra. This class is graded only by 3 exams and the final, includes no homework or practice exams. His lectures consist of rambling and are very hard to take notes in because he just talks at you so you cant even rely on your notes for studying aside from there being no homework. Has no care for his students & overall is rude.
