Gives very clear, good examples. Tests are easy. Not too much homework. Grading system allows for better chance of doing well.

She's a great teacher and very helpful when approached her explaining the subject is very good. Her test are ok not that easy and not that hard, just have to dedicate time with homework to do good.

She is wonderful. Not only does she make the material easy to learn, she lets you take your quizes home. You can also use a 3X5 index card on your test, even the final. You do learn in this class, so index cards are for when you freeze up or forget.

SHE IS A WONDERFUL TEACHER. SHE GIVES EXCELLENT NOTES AND EXPLAINS EVERYTHING VERY WELL. TESTS ARE EXACTLY WHAT SHE GOES OVER IN NOTES. IF YOU GO TO CLASS AND DO HOMEWORK YOU WILL DO GREAT IN THIS CLASS.

she is a great teacher, yet she gives at least 2 quizzes a week so if you miss a day, your SOL and you have no clue what to do on the quiz. the test are fairly easy if you do the reviews. there are 4 test a semester. she is a good all around teacher.

I took her for col. alg. and now finite and I love her. This is coming from someone who hates math and is the worst at it but she makes it manageable. I work all day and take her class at night which is even worse but am doing well so far. Do your reviews

I recommend this teacher for anyone not good in math, has not had it is a while, or work full time. I have been out of high school for some thime and have not had Math in years and I work full time. She was very helpful and made things a very clear.

I struggled with Algebra forever. I scored an A with Hanning. She is a wonderful teacher and not tricky on her tests. If you do the quizes and the review you have no reason not to pass. Wonderful, wonderful teacher.

Really liked her. She made sure that everyone understood the material and if you got stuck you could easily find it in the book and figure it out. Make sure to do the homework it really helps with the tests

Professor Hanning is the best math teacher I have ever had. She is extremely intelligent and is very helpful to students who need the extra explanation. Students who do not take Ms. Hanning is doing a disservice to themselves. Math is not easy but she has a way of explaining it well.

She's a good teacher, kind of all over the board, so u gotta organize ur notes urself, her tests are pretty easy as long as you do the quizzes n the reviews... if you do all that, you should be fine... thats all I did n I have an A right now

This teacher really knows how to teach. She always explains things step-by-step and makes sure you understand before moving on. I've learned a lot in her class that I know will be useful in the future. She's also always there to help if you need it. Don't be afraid to ask her a question.

I dreaded this class. But Ms. Hanning was so very helpful. She explains everything easily then demonstrates the techniques to you. Lots of homework (practice). Good study reviews. If you can't pass this class, you just aren't trying or have a math mental block.

Very nice teacher and very helpful. She goes step by step. Her class is kinda easy, but you still learn everything you are supposed to. Recommend her for anyone who has trouble with math, she goes step-by-step and doesn't rush ahead assuming that you know everything. Excellent teacher!

She's very helpful when you need it and teaches clearly (for lack of a better word.) I only had 1 problem with her: she writes WAY too FAST! My advice: Do the hmwk (there's quite a bit of it) and the exam reviews, and study for her tests.

She is a very nice lady. The work isn't too bad if you do the homework and reviews. After talking to other people who took different teachers for Finite and consistantly failed, I took Finite one time with her & had no problem (and I'm bad at math). Study hard, do the homework, easy B, need to work for the A.

Well spoken, clear and concise, Ms. Hanning is a number one choice in my book. She makes the subject as easily understood as possible in the majority of cases. There are only a few math instructors I'd choose to take over her, when given the option.

She was one of the best math teachers I have ever had. HW problems she gives you are just like the test if not easier. I got an A in her class! Tests are really easy. I definetely take her again.

Great math teacher, explains things very well, anytime you need help stop by her office. Keeps answers to her homework assignments (BIG help in learning the material) in the Math Lab, notebook - Hanning. Replace lowest test with finial. RETURNS TESTS (questions from the homework she assigns) AFTER GRADING for you to KEEP and STUDY by FOR THE FINAL.

Really good teacher, you do have to put forth the effort. Test are really easy if you study and do the work. Strongly recomend her.

Super teacher! I do not like math, and actually look forward to attending class. She works many examples, grades homework and gives test reviews. Tests are fair and just like the homework. It is possible to get an A in this class even if you are not a Math person. She makes it easy to understand - but you have to do the homework.

This teacher is super easy. Do YOur homework your reviews and study some for your tests and your done. she does skip around in chapters but you can still manage. if i were you i would take her...:)

She was the greatest MATH teacher that I had. I admit she would keep steps, but only ones that we've done a few times before. So it wasn't like she was skipping anything she hadn't shown us. She was helpful, and I was really scared the first day of class. Not knowing what to expect, not taking a math class in 4 yrs. I passed the class with an A+!

i love her shes the best math teacher. i failed this class at south campus and came to central and she taught it very well. i enjoy going to her class. all her homework and tests are very easy.

She's a good teacher she does problems step by step and explains how she got the answer. she is nice, but you have to ask questions if you don't understand. she will sit with you and help you.

Very good teacher. I was a little nervous about taking 0306 due to my lack of math skills, but this teacher made the course really easy. Homework is given nearly every class so make sure to do it, and 4 tests before final. Study test reviews and you'll do fine.

Ms Hanning is a wonderful teacher. I was an idiot at math and took 0305 twice before. She made is very easy to understand and if you had questions she would make sure and help you out until you understand. Wonderful teacher and would recommend her to anyone. BEST MATH TEACHER EVER! I was literally horrible in Math in High School, and was very scared about taking this course. I have an A+ average and was shocked to find out I could do math, I just needed a good teacher. If you want a good teacher, I highly recommend her.

Great Teacher! I really enjoyed her. She is really helpful and explains the material clearly. I recommend her if you don't understand Algebra. I wish she taught College Algebra but she doesn't. I also suggest that you show up to class and do the homework. Missing classes will have you lost in any Math class.

Initially, I HATED this class. I thought the outlines and notecards were pointless. Now, I completely see the point. It will be a great reference for 1314. However, She is an average teacher at best. She seems bored constantly and it makes you feel bored. She skips steps in explaining things. Don't take her if you had trouble in 0305.

Professor Hanning is the bomb. She's super nice, teaches well, and I couldn't ask for a more awesome math teacher. Yeah, there's lots of homework - but "practice makes perfect" is especially true for math. All in all, great experience!

Mrs. Hanning is wonderful!! I took her for 0305 and a winter mini for 0306. Yes it's a lot of homework but that's what helps you understand. she gives great notes that you can review on your own. Take notes and do your homework and you'll pass the class. Wish she taught college algebra.

Professor Hanning is an awesome professor! She knows her stuff and is extremely helpful. Grades homework, makes you do outlines of your notes, and we work in groups for class assignments. You have to remember the professor does 50% to teach you, so you defintetly have to put your 50% as well. Took 0304,0305,0306 and made A's.

Professor Hanning was great!! What she discuss on the class is exactly the same on the exam trust me. Not too many quizzes! Don't make absences !Just pay attention! make all the notes! chose your homework by the book, not online! review before the test and you'll get an A. Absolutely I made it!!!!!!!

Ms. Hanning is so nice, I definitely recommend taking her, do not miss class! we cover so much in one class that you will get lost if you miss, shes very helpful, teaches you different ways to solve problems -easy way-. I have gotten A's on all my tests and no I have never made A's in math. I would take her again if I could.

Ms. Hanning is a thorough teacher and is right to the point. If you need help you just have to ask and she will do everything she can to help you. You need to attend class in order to pass because she goes over a lot of information. You don't need a text book because you use MyMathLab and it has a book integrated into it.

She get's right to the point. She is nice and friendly. She does give projects and about 3 tests that I've taken in her class, which were easy. Projects are easy. Just do all your projects, homework, and tests and you'll pass the class. She always lets you re-take a test if you didn't score well on.

She is very clear on the steps of solving the topic of the subject, if you raise your hands she will answer all your questions. On Fridays, she will be in an empty classroom to lecture more if you have any problems or just need help on the homework. She may be a bit monotone but she is very easy to understand so bear with her throughout the lecture

Professor Hanning is great. Finite was not the easiest class for me, but if I needed help I know I could easily contact her. She gets right to the point when you ask for help. A lot of MyMathLab homework. Reviews are good, but sometimes not the best. You will also need to remember the many uses of the calculator!

Proffessor Hanning is great at what she does. She's also very kind and cares that her students are learning. One thing I will say, if you miss class, you will fall behind. There is alot of math lab homework , but as long as you are doing it on time that will help you on the test. Thank you Proffessor Hanning!

Professor Hanning is a great teacher. Her tests are fair. Do the work you will get an A. There is homework but you won't learn if you don't practice. She will explain the way to work out the problems if you don'n understand. Her projects are fun, overall my first semester was awesome and I wish she would teach 1332 during the night .

All I can say is that Professor Hanning made me love math. She was very clear in her explanation of math problems. There were plenty of chances for extra credit. The only thing I was disappointed about was that I would not have her for the upcoming semester. She is amazing!

She explains everything in detail and gives lots of examples, unlike other professors who just do 2-3 problems and call it a day. Ive never been good at math, but in her class I got a 105 on my first math exam. Pay attention to all her examples and youll pass all the homeworks, quizzes and tests. Shes very caring and I would take her again!

Seriously the BEST professor I have ever taken, I took a math course prior to her class, and I failed. I have never been good at math, but she somehow made it easy for me to understand. YES some of the assignments were hard, but she is always willing to help if you communicate with her. She cares about her students being successful TAKE HER!!

She is very good at always reminding you when things are due and to take the opportunity to use what she gives you regarding tests and homework. My only wish was that I was able to have taken her class in person.

Great Professor!

As long as you do your homework you should be fine. She has a great teaching style and answers questions even out of class. There wasn't much homework in this class compared to others. I ended with 100 in her honors. Lets you have notecards on some tests for formulas. She's sometimes lenient with due dates for homework, just be transparent w/ her.

Professor Hanning was one of the best math lecturers I have taken, she is very great at explaining new lessons and teaches everything thoroughly. I enjoyed my time in her class and would definitely love to have her again as a professor.

I loved prof. Hanning. We jumped right into it and we knew what to expect, and she prepared you well for her tests. We used Aleks for homework which was helpful. As long as you stay on top of homework and ask questions during lecture if needed you'll be fine. She made lecture easy, she explained things thoroughly. Love her!
