Good course, not to difficult.

I liked his class it was cool, learned some new stuff.

His class is very lecture heavy and he reads straight from the PowerPoint, but tries to really get people involved and shows that this is something he really enjoys teaching. He does take attendance, but it's not for a grade. He also understands that a lot of people who take his class are not exactly lovers of science and this is not their major.

He is a really good professor. He tries to make the class a little more fun and realizes that this is not the only class in the world that you are taking. The homework is a minimal amount and all of it can be found in the slides that he post online. He allows you to bring a notecard to the test with notes and that makes the test a lot easier. Cool

If you have to take Living World, I highly recommended Professor Dubininkas. Hes really considerate of everyones time and the fact that were usually in a lecture for over an hour. He offers breaks and even lets us out of class early if weve covered enough material for the day. Also pay attention during lecture and youll catch his little jokes.

I didnt use the book (free online link that he gave us) and I really struggled. Hes great at lecturing and doesnt read directly off the slide. He makes corny jokes every now and then and it keeps me interested. Overall a good professor!

Fantastic professor! Really tries to make his lectures engaging, uses humor to help keep people listening. He definitely knows the material, but tailors it well for non-science majors. Exams aren't easy, but if you study you'll be fine. He does let you bring an index card for exams. I would definitely recommend taking him for this course!

The professor is great. He has an awkward personality, but really cares about the subject and his students. He knows that the topics can be boring and tries to make them as fun as he can and show videos. He allows a notecard for tests and give only one homework assignment online before every test which are easy to ace. Great teacher and great class

His PowerPoints are online and he lets you record his lectures which is really helpful. He is very knowledgeable and answers questions thoroughly. Would definitely recommend.

He is very witty and knowledgeable. He speaks pretty clear and concisely. His lectures are rather fast so its hard to take a lot of notes some of the time, however, he does post his slides online for the students.

I enjoyed this class even though Biology is my least favorite subject. I was able to find success in this class and make it through the semester.

Great professor! If you have to take a Biology course I highly recommend him. He replies to emails in a timely manner and answers any questions as clearly as possible. The lectures can be long, but he puts in effort to make you laugh every once in a while. He also gives you access to the textbook which is extremely helpful.

Really funny teacher, I've never been good at science but he truly explains things really well. As long as you go to class he gives you all the tools you need to pass the class.

Mr. Dubinakis is a great professor who cares about what he is teaching and is knowledgeable about his field. The classes feel long, but he sometimes makes jokes or lets students take breaks to help us get through the class. I would take one of his classes again.

Professor Dubininkas is very organized and he responds quickly to emails. He provided great power points and stayed engaged with the class when it moved online. It did seem like a number of the questions on Lab tests were not in the lectures or power points, but otherwise I enjoyed this class.

Professor Dubininkis is very passionate about his teaching. Throughout the lectures, he checks with students to make sure they understand the material (and makes little jokes, it's good). Professor Dubininkas explained things in a humorous and also highly enjoyable manner! After not doing too well in AP highschool Biology, I was nervous to take the college course. I found it highly enjoyable and easy to understand with Professor Dubininkas' thorough explanations.

Professor Dubininkas is a fun professor who's not afraid to crack a joke in the middle of a lecture. If you show up to class and read the assigned pages of the textbook it should be an easy A. The tests are not too hard as all the questions are from either lectures or the textbook.

I had him during the 2020 COVID pandemic, and he did a really good job making the class entirely accessible online, including the labs. If for some reason you can not show up to class in person, your grade will not suffer for it.

Professor Dubinikas's Biology of the Living World is a great class to take. The workload was manageable considering all of the quizzes and tests were open notes! Professor Dubinikas is a very understanding teacher and even stretched a few deadlines for me when I was having technical issues with my computer and all my notes got erased!

A course that was put together very well and success can be achieved if you do the extra work to learn the material.

Really engaging professor. Responds to emails promptly and gives good feedback. Don't be afraid to ask questions, even if they seem silly. If you don't know taxonomical hierarchy before this course, you will by the end.

Professor Vitalis Dubininkas was an amazing professor! He gave out handouts for the quizzes and if you studied them you were going to do fine. I was full online and he made it so easy to be online and to still learn what I needed to. He answered emails fast, and fixed problems when they occurred. If you have to take a biology class, take him!

All the lecture material is available to use when taking tests. Taking notes during lecture can be very helpful as well. His response times to emails is very good.

Found my professor Vitalis Dubininkas was very knowledgeable on the material he instructed. Professor Dubininkas was very easy to communicate with and had feedback returned in a respectable timely manner. I am honored to have been in Professor Dubininkas class this semester.

He always tried to make the lectures fun and interesting even when the topic really wasnt. He really knows what hes talking about and is very knowledgeable. The grading was clear and fair. Personally not the most interesting topic but I would take again because it was a good class.

The way our teacher taught was very clear and made it very essay for students to follow. Also, the was that he set up canvas was very good and easy to understand. Very good teacher, would recommend.

He goes over good materials that will be in quizzes and tests. PowerPoint had good to know knowledge and easy to follow. Every class was something new and interesting to read or discuss.

This class was very resourceful & balanced with the different topics that the Living World has to offer. Professor Dubininkas showed up everyday with a positive attitude, he also may talk a little fast but he makes sure that he answers any and all questions that a student may have.

Professor Vitalis is very knowledgable in what he teaches. He always comes to class prepared and knows what he is talking about. If you ask a question, he is more than happy to answer it. My advice would be to always show up to class and take good notes on the lecture!

One of the greatest professors I have had at UMHB. This man loved what he taught and truly cared about us. He would joke and make boring subjects fun and intriguing! Im glad I was able to take one of his courses. His teaching was far and beyond the most understanding on campus.

Professor Dubininkas is one of my favorite professors. I was worried about taking a biology class/lab because I am a business major and hadn't taken a science class since the beginning of high school. He was able to make learning entertaining and I loved taking his class.

I would say overall he was a great professor. Definitely required some effort to make the grade I did, but he was clear and helpful. His quizzes weren't difficult, but exams will be if you don't study. Overall, I have no idea what made him leave my school but as a professor he was wonderful and I would have loved to finish the semester with him.

I had him for the lab and not the class. He speeds through lectures which can be a little stressful but we always got out early which was nice. He tries to make the material funny and relatable. He lets you use your notebook for lab practicals so if you have the PowerPoint down, you'll do fine. Loved this lab, definitely take him if you can!
