I was nervous to take this class because I have a hard time with Math.Professor Drucker made it very clear and understandable plus he is always willing to work one on one with you until you get it. As long as you study and keep up with the homework, you'll do fine.I highly recommend taking math with him!

Other than being nice... he is good to get you an easy grade but as for answering your questions if having some math problems, he doesn't comprehend very well and assumes that you should know everything when he didn't cover it.Overall he is great but if you don't understand something, go to math lab tutor.

He is a great teacher. He asks you what you need help on and will go over it with you. You only have 3 or 4 tests but they are what you go over in classs. His midterm and final were easy. I've had this guy for 3 semesters at gateway and he is one of my favorites. After 2 classes you get the accent if you pay attention. He puts all his effort into his students understanding of the material he rarely uses standardized tests and he makes sure everyone understands a concept before moving on. If you see his name on a class, take it!!

The course only uses the ALEKS Math program. It's very easy to use and contains a textbook built in. Professor Vitaly speaks with a thick accent but he is very laid back, helpful, and friendly. The environment in the class is good. Work can be done at any time, even from home. Professor Vitaly is there to assist us with any problems on ALEKS.

Professor Drucker is very helpful. He is always encouraging, and willing to help. He is also willing to push you when he sees you have potential. As for ALEKS, it is a VERY HELPFUL TOOL. (ALEKS is a a web-based online tutor/homework system) If we use it to teach ourselves and to study, it is invaluable. Do not be afraid to use it. Its a 24/7 tutor.

Professor Drucker is very fair. If you want to do well, you will. If you are strong in Math, then homework is optional. But, if you are weak, you must do homework and MYMATHLAB in order for him to meet you in the middle(and shockingly homework helps you learn!). He also has an amazing story of emigrating from Ukraine which is inspiring.

Sometimes hard to understand the way he explainsthrough his accent but if you ask he will go back over it. He'll explain it 20 times until you get it. Didn't look at my homework and just trusted me that I did it and gave me the grade for it. I would have done better but I'm not great with tests. You need the book and you need the my math lab code

If you are unwilling to do work on your own do not take this class. Homework is not checked every day but is mandatory and so is Mathlab. You will not pass this class if you do not put in the effort. The homework and classwork is all optional but should be done to memorize formulas and other things (plus it counts as extra credit).

Since i failed math 102 last semester i unfortunately had to take it again. I chose professor Drucker based on what i saw on rate my professor and i am not disappointed in my choice. Had to take MAT100P which is ALEKS based (online). Although his role wasnt really to do anything because the computer program is suppose to teach you, he is a very nice guy. Prof Drucker is a good professor. He's available at least 30 minutes before class to work with students who need extra help. This class is not for those who can only do basic math. In order to succeed you HAVE to do the work and study. You have to at least dedicate 1 hour 1/2 to study per day. The 2 hours per week lab hours aren't enough.

He is a good teacher but his accent makes it hard to understand him.

The course itself isn't great with the aleks program. However, Vitaly is kind and helpful. Has a strong accent and can be hard to understand. He just follows all the rules he has to for the Math Emporium. He isn't so strict with rules. If you do your 2 required hours in the emporium, all your topics, and study for tests, it's an easy A.
