He's really nice. He tries to make the material easy to understand (even though the material is difficult) and he'll clarify things for you personally if you ask him after class. He is sometimes hard to understand, but it's not too bad. He'll also make jokes every once in a while which keeps things light and fun.

Not an easy class & requires lots of studying. Lectures are taken almost directly from text. Tests mostly mult choice. Final is created by dept chair. I felt it was very vague and more difficult than class exams. Lab practicals are difficult. I enjoyed this class & would take BY32 with him if he taught. Prof always avail for extra help. Grade = A

I believe he's a very kind person. I believe he does "his best" to help students to understand the material. The large amount of info. for the class, SHOULD dictate/necessitate "intense" review of it. This class is NOT recommended for those who do not easily absorb, understand "and are able to APPLY" all of the material at an incredibly rapid pace.

Jurokovski's a pretty decent guy and seeing him during his office hours really helps, but he really needs to learn how to give a decent test review. I ended up having to withdraw from his class, which he will allow you to do on the last day of class without a problem. If you need to take Modern Bio, I recommend someone else, like Professor Honey.

He is a nice guy, but that doesn't make him a good Prof. For the past 4 semesters I have received B-A's in every class. I'm really struggling with him. He told us in the beginning of his class average is a 55-65 on a constant basis. The rest of SCCC has about a 72 class average. If your class average is D-F, that is a problem with the program.

Basically... Anatomy and Physiology is a very hard class, regardless of the professor. So I think it is unfair to say that he himself is hard. Frankly, I thought he was what you should expect to take the class. Accent is negligible for the most part, but can be very fun at times :D

Be prepared to work for this prof/class. Tests are the majority of the grade and they can be pretty difficult. He allowed test corrections for the first two and counts your worst as only 10% of your test average. Overall I think he was very fair and extremely knowledgeable. Study throughout the semester or it's too much material.

If you do the work, you'll do great. It's a heavy workload but it prepares you for the exams. He is highly informed on what he's teaching and cares about the material, which in turn translated to him having thorough and decent lectures. He cared about what he was doing, and was willing to work with you if you approached him. His accent is a bonus.

Dr. Jurukovski is extremely knowledgeable in A & P. He assigns helpful HW through Connect. Some exam questions are directly from HW. He also gives opportunity for feedback & extra points via exam corrections. He was very fair & also fair in expecting students to regularly attend. Keep up with the reading, do Connect self-study. You've got this!

This professor posted the power points 30 minutes before class, therefore not allowing students enough time to review content prior to class. Read off of the power point without actually getting into the important material. He'll only allow test corrections for first two exams. GOOD LUCK

would not wish this professor on my worst enemy. Expect 25+ hours a week of studying just to pass the exams. Tests do not correlate to the material in class. Given Covid19 there should be some room for forgiveness as people have alot going on but he couldnt care less. extremely unreasonable. barely pulled off the A this semester. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

I took Professor Jurukovski's class online during the pandemic. He is easily accessible outside of class and very approachable. He is very knowledgeable about what he teaches. The tests can be difficult and he makes the worst grade 10%. Be prepared to study hard for this class. As long as you review the material throughout the semester you'll pass.

The worse and most discouraging professor I have even encountered. Test are unrealistic to what he teaches. He does not try and help his students and does not want to see his students do well. He does not give guidance on what or how to study. No easy questions. DO NOT TAKE HIM! WORSE SEMESTER HAVING HIM AS MY PROFESSOR.

Prof Vladimir Jurukovski exams are ridiculously difficult. He doesn't give extra credit. You can study all day and night and still fail his exams. His lectures are long and it is hard to stay awake. There are many other prof you can take for A&P 1 just dont pick him !!!

Doesnt like vague answers yet doesnt bother to explain with detail. Doesnt help his students understand the content. My high school sophomore bio teacher was a better teacher than him. Do not take him, dont pay attention to whoever says he makes you work for it, working for it is not giving test without preparing your students and unrelated stuff.

Out of all 4 years of college, this was the most difficult course thats ive taken in years but this professor seriously made the difference. This is a course you MUST study everyday for! His notes are his guidelines for exams and USE THEM. He really sets you up for success in this class if you are studying everyday and are putting in the effort

He has a strong accent and the worst Professor at Suffolk. He didnt explain chap 2(chemistry) he said to read by ourselves. He uses Respondus LB for the exam if you move your head or look left/right of the screen youll get -10 pts or -20. We started at 24 students and ended up 7. The exam came from the book, slides and things he didnt go over.

Dr.Jurukovski is a great professor! He gives clues as to what will be on the exams and does whatever he can to help you pass. No HW other than study the labs from class. Study everything that is in BOLD in the Lab textbook, this will help on his exams. Has a great sense of humor. All in all I would take him again.

Professor Jurukovski was tough to follow all semester. He knows his stuff but does not teach very well. He expects you to know everything 100% and teach yourself. I would avoid him at all costs. It is very hard to pass his class. Expectations are way too high for a community college course.

ABORT MISSON! DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! Unless you want to study for 14 hours a week to pass his tests find someone else! Lectured off of powerpoints then tests were TOTALLY DIFFERENT! Lengthy wordy test questions! Extremely hilarious professor but is out to make himself and the school money. 22 people started and only 8 took the final!

Seems like a good person, knows his stuff, but has high expectations for his students. You pretty much teach yourself the course and he says to read the textbooks for the material which makes you wonder why even show up to the lectures. You need to know each term like the back of your hand and that is just for a chance to pass. Avoid him.

He is a nice professor and his lectures for Forensics were interesting but the TESTs are very hard. You have to study a lot It's not like studying the night before the exam and getting an A. You have to remember every little detail for the TESTs. Overall its not impossible you can pass if you try hard.

I took him for forensic bio and this class was definitely a challenge so if you're looking for an easy A, this isn't the class for you. I liked his teaching style and how he structured his tests. He felt like a true professor, the kind you'd expect to have at a 4-year college. If you're serious about learning and want to be challenged takethisclass
