it could be worse

Dr. Stiller is really cool--he is very enthusiastic and fun--you can tell he really enjoys his subject. Also, he's never too busy to answer a question, in class or out of class. And he goes into detail with his answers, he doesn't just blow you off. This is important--he treats you like a person.

Dr. Stiller is a great teacher and is always willing to help you both in and outside of class. He makes it very interesting and gives you lots of neat ways to remember things. I would highly recommend him to everyone.

he's easy...all he does is powerpoint and you study out of it! shouldn't be a problems.... :-D i pass with an A without taking a final in his class..he drop the lowest grade :) so don't worry..plus he gives almost 50 bonus points..

Dr. Stiller is my FAVORITE. He explains everything so well and really makes it interesting. He's hilarious, and very helpful. His tests pertain to what he lectures, so there are never any surprises. HE gives plenty of bonus, and you might not have to take the final. If you have the chance to take Dr. Stiller, I HIGHLY recommend it!

I hate biology but he made it fun. He is sooo funny! Biology is still hard but he makes learning fun and offers bonus points.

As a STATH, I was able to make A's easily. I did not even have to take the final. He is funny person and a great teacher. I really learned a lot from this class. He does most all of the notes on power point, and we answer questions built into the notes with clickers to make sure we know what is going on.

Great teacher! Very funny, keeps the class entertained. Posts notes on blackboard then goes over them in detail. Gives you the 3 highest grades out of your 4, and gives bonus too. Makes biology seem very easy. His class is challenging, but not impossible, and you learn a lot. If you go to class and read the book there is no way you can do bad.

Very good teacher! He has an awesome German accent and is very enthusiastic about teaching. He gives study guides for the test that are the exact test. I highly recomend taking him if you get the chance.

Dr. Stiller is an amazing teacher! He puts all of his PowerPoints on on Blackboard and his tests come straight from them. He tells you what the essay questions will be for each test before the test and gives tons of bonus. Ended up with a high A. He is hilarious and makes the class very interesting. Highly recommend!

He teachers small classes, gets your exam grades back to you on the day of the exam, very punctual, very energetic, down side is he reads straight from the power-points... so pretty boring. His exams are relatively easy, but require more thought than the average human being, so be prepared to study.

Dr. Stiller was an amazing teacher. I took him for honors and the class was fun and challenging. However, it isn't hard to make an A. Dr. Stiller gives a lot of bonus and if you have an A at the end of the year, you don't have to take the final.

Really good teacher, if you like biology and actually want to understand it. He tells you what will be on the test, and if you're really familiar with the material you will do fine. Ps: he is hilarious !

Dr. Stiller is my favourite instructor yet. He's attentive, extremely helpful, hilarious, and teaches you a lot of nifty information. He has a lot of clever one liners, and my section really enjoyed him. If you just do the tiny amount of work that he actually assigns, and study for the 30 question exams, you'll love this class so much.

My favorite professor so far!!! He can interest any student, even someone who does not like science. His accent is hot. You do have to study and work hard. And he is SO funny while teaching.

Great guy, great teacher. Has a German accent so sometimes hard to understand but you can get used to it. Easy easy easy, gives you everything you need to know. Limited assignments so you have to do well on what he does give you.

This guy is an amazing professor! Thick German accent, but makes class so much more enjoyable. 4 chapter tests and a final, but the lowest test score gets dropped! 4 homework assignments as well. If you show up to class and pay attention, you'll pass with flying colors. Tests comes right from his powerpoints. Easily my favorite class I've taken!

Cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Stiller! He is so passionate about what he teaches, goes out of the way to make sure we are prepared for tests, and I've never had a lecture with him I didn't laugh out loud in. His accent was not difficult at all to understand- in fact, I think it kept most of us entertained and engaged. A++ teacher!

He is by far the funniest professor I've had, and he makes it his mission to make the information relevant and interesting. He is great.

I took him for my first college biology course. Loved this dude from day 1. Gives a ten point bonus quiz before every test. His accent is German which is awesome. My favorite college professor thus far

Definitely take Dr. Stiller for GBIO. He wants his students to pass. We only had 4 exams throughout the semester and he ends up dropping the lowest score, which helped out almost everyone by a good 10%. He goes through a chapter every 2 classes. He is fast pace but it is not hard to follow. He also gives 4 homework assignments which are for bonus.

Take this professor!!! You should probably study but if you pay attention to his lectures then an A is possible. He is hilarious and cares about his students.

Take Stiller! The german accent makes it a little easier to sit through his lectures. Attendance isn't required but it helps a lot if you do go, even though he posts everything on moodle.

Stiller was one of my favorite professors this semester. He clearly loves what he does and structures the class to set students up for success. I highly recommend taking his class.

His class was amazing. Dr. Stiller is so easy to listen to and he drops the lowest test grade. There's easy homework and bonus from the course pre-test.

He is wonderful. He gives extra credit HW done online which is alot of help, without the extra credit I would have a B in the class. He wants his students to pass. But study guides is not really like the test its 25% basically. He drops the lowest test grade which is awsome. Take him it was kind of tough at the beginning but an easy easy A.

Dr. Stiller is an incredible professor! He is willing to help students, has great lectures, and gives decent feedback. The class isn't too hard, just study for the exams and do the occasional homework assignments.

Dr. Stiller is an awesome teacher. His lectures are great and easy to understand and he likes when people have questions. His test reflect the material and notes that are learned in class. If you go to class and take notes and study for the tests, you'll be fine. The occasional online homework is easy, just make sure you do it on time.

What I never understood in 36 weeks of highschool Chemistry, I understood in two days of his lectures. He uses powerpoints as guides, and elaborates as needed. He does point out things to remember (for an exam), and encourages questions. He doesn't make you feel stupid, and he gives relatable examples to help you understand the material. 10/10!

Dr. Stiller is very passionate about Biology and tries to make his lectures fun. His homeworks are all for bonus points and they allow mulitple attempts. Be prepared to read the book chapters before class. Your lowest test grade is dropped at the end of the semester and the final is optional if you are happy with your grade.

I absolutely LOVED Dr. Stillers class. Lectures get kind of slow at times but he makes random jokes here & there so it keep your attention. Would definitely take him as a professor again!

I was scared going into this course because it is designed for biology majors, which I am not, but Dr. Stiller made it very enjoyable. He's hilarious and gives very detailed lectures. As long as you study his powerpoints and attend class to hear what he adds to the notes, you'll do fine. AND TAKE THE HOMEWORKS SERIOUSLY! They helped save my A!

Super funny and easy to understand in lectures. Gives great notes in class and posts notes online. Homework assignments are bonus on tests. Grades to where you dont have to take a final. The best teacher to take for sure.

Dr. Stiller was by far my funniest professor! If you do not study his lectures however, you will not pass! The intro exam you take at the beginning of the semester counts as bonus points. As long as you do good on the first 4 tests and content with your grade, you do not have to take the final.

Love love loveeee Dr. Stiller. He's super knowledgeable & his lecture (though sometimes can get long and boring) always have fun side stories and tangents. He only grades on tests and a few homework assignments, but he drops the lowest test.... As long as you're willing to study- you'll pass!! Defintley recommend him.

Whatever you do, just study. He wants you to read the textbook but if you hate reading like me, just study his powerpoints that he post on moodle and the review summary at the end of each chapter. He's pretty funny at times. lectures are straight but boring at times. Sometimes he does pop quizzes on chapters before teaching so beware of that.

Class isnt mandatory but he goes into detail about certain things you need to know for the test. There are 4 tests and a final. The final isnt mandatory. He drops the lowest test grade in case you miss one, but then you will have to take the final. This class can be really easy if you go to class and go over the material. He gives study guides

Some will hate him and when you take him you may not like him but hes great. Hes funny and goofy. He talks fast so record his lectures and listen to them because he gives you exactly what you need to know. Study because the tests are 50 multiple choice. Usually helps you out at the end of the semester but you have to work for it. Loved him!!

He is passionate about biology and funny to be around. He always lectures and rarely reads off the powerpoint which I find enjoyable although all ppts with all info you need to know is on moodle. When lecturing he always tells us "dont write this down." Write it down because it is hard to pass without notes. Only 4 hw assign and no extra credit.

Dr. Stiller is now one of my favorite professors. I loved his lectures and he jokes a lot which makes things fun. He expects you to read the textbook before classes and I just read the chapters before tests and it helped sooo much. Go to class! his lectures are a lot and he talks fast so record them. He helps you out in the end but work is required

RECOMMEND! Professor Stiller's class is informative and fun! I HIGHLY suggest refreshing your general knowledge over each topic BEFORE the lecture. He recommends reading the textbook, but quick YouTube videos will suffice. There are 4 test (including an OPTIONAL final) & 4 homework assignments total. He also posts all the PowerPoints on Moodle.

He is always telling dad jokes. He cares about what he teaches and is very willing to help. Was able to skip the final because I had an A. He also posts all the tests on moodle after to help. Loves when the class participates. I would take him again!

Dr. Stiller is a very funny professor who does his best to engage his students in different formats. For the last exam, instead of normal lecture notes, it was mainly about drawing. Every exam has a homework due the same day before class. If you review the study guides, you should get a good grade, provided you really take notes in class.

This class is graded on 4 homework assignments & 4 exams. There are 5 exams in total, but the lowest grade is dropped. You have to attend the class & if you don't understand what's going on, don't be afraid to raise your hand to ask. Stiller is a very good choice if you need an honors credit, just be sure to commit & not be lazy.

Only grades are 4 tests. Optional final to replace lowest test grade. As long as you go to class and take notes you'll be fine.

We had 4 online tests that were all multiple choice. I personally read the textbook, but you can definitely get by without it. We had a review day before each test, and we were given a short study guide. Dr. Stiller is super sweet and definitely cares about his students. He loves when people ask questions so dont be afraid to raise your hand.

Professor Stiller was a fun and caring teacher. He has a kind heart but be prepared to attend a lecture every class. He tries to make the boring material as interesting and fun as possible. He gave us 4 online exams and an online final in which he drops the lowest grade. His tests were pretty difficult and long but if you work hard for it

Dr. Stiller is awesome! He's a genuinely nice guy & does his best to make the lectures interesting. Overall grade is based on exams only and he dropped our lowest (the final is optional if you're happy with your grade going in). Lots of info but he does emphasize what's important, and it translates to his exams. Doesn't try to trick you. Take him!!

I’m currently taking Professor Stiller, and I love his class! I have made a B on every single exam so far. He has a very clear grading criteria (5 exams, but only 4 go towards your final grade). He tells you exactly what you need to know for each exam & doesn’t try to trick you. He’s a ray of sunshine & he’s super funny. TAKE HIM!

I adore Professor Stiller! He is the best biology professor here at Southeastern. We had 5 exams but only 4 are counted towards your final grade. Easy class if you pay attention. Gives study guides. The more you show up to class, the more bonus points you get at the end. Take him! He is awesome and very caring.

He is very laid back. Tests are all MC. Only counts 4/5 of them. PPT are all pics which can be difficult to understand. WRITE IT DOWN when he says not to. Don't sit in the front if you want to write everything down (which I recommend.) Be sure to read the margin info in the textnook....He is a great choice for this course.

Awesome professor, he gave out bonus points for attendance. This class is hard, you have to make sure you write down everything that's on the study guides (even if he tells you not to, those questions will get you if you don't). Luckily he doesn't deviate too much from the study guides, although the study guides are really just terms you need.

Easy professor. All you have to do is attend class and pay attention to the lectures. Easy tests and he goes over what will be exactly on the tests. Just attend classes and go over all the material he say will be on the tests and you'll be just fine.

Dr. Stiller was interesting to say the least. He is German, but the accent barrier is not a problem at all. He is fun and doesn't make the class too hard, there is plenty of bonus available and he drops the lowest test grade. You do have to read a lot of the textbook pages (if you want to actually learn) but he's overall a good professor.

Ignore whatever everyone else here says. He did change the exams from the quizlet. He's honestly really funny but old school. If you want an A you need above a 90 and he will not round up.
