Nicest math teacher ever

He was fun and explained things the best he could.. but he would always send people to the tutor to get help instead of him helping.. and i didnt know why

Really nice guy; tests weren't too bad and he gives extra credit for doing the homework. I had a friend in the class who was having a hard time with it, but we studied together the whole semester and both did great. If he sees you putting in effort he'll work with you.

He was very nice, and explained everything down to the fine details. He worked nice and slow and made sure no one fell behind. A VERY good teacher.

Mr. Magiliaro is very funny. This is an easy A, he gives extra credit for having your homework on test day. He takes his time and makes sure that u understand everything before moving on.

Magliaro is an amazing professor. I was a little nervous about taking algebra, but he is the best. Magliaro provides excellent examples. If you are applying to BCCC, I suggest you take his class. You seriously won't regret it. If you fear algebra, he is the professor to have. He breaks things down to it's simplest form.

I suggest taking Magliaro’s class. He writes notes on the chalkboard, so make sure you take notes. Magliaro’s notes are so thorough. It's easy to remember everything he taught in class. He is teaching Math 103 in the Fall, and I have already registered for his class. He is an asset to Bucks County Community College.

He really knows math & teaches it well but his personality changed from a few years ago. He is still good a teaching but was cruel & embarassed certain students. He threw a temper tantrum and stormed out of class cause people asked ?'s about the test.Its time to retire. Take at your own risk. His mood is volatile & goes up an down. I did get an "A"

Excellent teacher. You can't find a better math teacher. He's experienced enough to know where most students get stuck and is VERY patient with questions. He CAN be tough on students who are disrespectful, but I've never seen him make an undeserved comment. If you show up and make an effort you will be HAPPY you took his class!

Mr. Magliaro is a wonderful teacher. He's patient and thorough. He's also very serious about attending class and adamant about taking notes. Miss a class and you could be lost when you return. Take good notes, he writes them out for you, and you'll pass. He also has a sweet kinda humor that brings him 'down to earth'.

Wonderful teacher... obvious likes his job.... he will go out of his way to help you as long as you do the work!

I really like this teacher. He is a good person and a good teacher.

He needs to retire. He knows his stuff & you will too but his patience is wearing thin. He has become short tempered and easily annoyed. He picks favorites so prepare to brown nose. He's smart and you will learn the material but don't expect the same kind personality a a few yrs ago. He seems fed up with teaching and is very crotchety & frustrated.

Mr Magliaro is a funny old guy who is great at explaining math. He teaches very delibertely and sometimes a bit slow. Although my expectations weren't too high, this teacher made math painless to learn.

I took an online algebra course w/Mr. Mags. I'm a married,34 yr old mother of 2 and run my own business... I was quite nervous about taking an online aglgebra course for my 1st college class ever, but Mr. Mags helped me work through problems when I became stuck. Hand in the work and you'll get extra % added onto your test score. Highly recommend

Had him during the summer. His class is really easy. He goes over stuff until the class understands it, and it's almost impossible to fail. He looks at all of your work for the test, so if you know what you are doing but just made a simple addition mistake, you still get partial credit. Really nice old man.

Mr. Magliaro is the best!! I am an adult student and have never understood algebra!! His teaching methods are awesome. He makes it easy to understand. I actually for the first time enjoyed algebra. He always reviews for tests, there are never any surprises. By far the best, take him if possible.

What an awesome teacher! I took his class online and the workbook that he wrote is soooo good at explaining algebra. I have always had a lot of trouble with math & in his book he explains things so well that I was able to earn an A in his class. He met with me or spoke with me on the phone when I had questions. He is really a great teacher!

I took math095 online and it was easy, I highly recommend taking Mr Magliaro's class. He was very helpful, the tests were fairly easy. Some online classes use course compass in which you will not need to buy the text book but in Mr Maliaro class you will need the text book because he doesn't use course compass.

Great teacher! His personality is a breathe of fresh air compared to most math prof. He is very clear and helpful when he teaches. His tests are exactly what he shows you in class- no suprises. Take him if you hate math it won't be so bad.

I took Mr. Mag for Math103 and College Algebra. I came out of Math103 with an A and have aced all three of my tests in College Algebra. All he asks is that you show up to class, write when he writes, and do your homework. Very nice guy, take him!! Only bad thing I can say about him is he's a Yankees' fan...lol.

Mr. Mag is the best. So good that I fought to get him again this semester. Take his class if you can but it fills up fast because THIS GUY IS FRIGGING AWESOME! You will walk away knowing the subject. So, there are 3 test during the semester based on hw exersises (he even tells you what are those exersises!) And on the end there is a final based on the entire material(he gives you examples of the final's problems!)If you can't pass with him then...

Took this teacher from math 120 and math 103. He is great! nice older italian man who enjoys what he does. If you complete the homework, you will pass class. Tests are based off homework problems, and the final is based of the test questions. He tells you exactly what you need to study for the final. Highly recommended!

It's been a long time since I've been in a math class. Obviously, I'm a traditional student who was very nervous of returning to school. Mr. Magliaro is an amazing teacher who is dedicated to helping his students succeed. He loves what he does and believe me, it shows. As an adult, take my advice and reg with Mr. M, you wont be disappointed.

Extremely helpful would, slow down the class or even stay after class everyday to ensure everyone understood the work. Assigned average homework, but its math who can complain the homework questions were on the test! Will take him again this coming spring, I revolved my schedule around his class!Best teacher I've had.

I can honestly say, this is the best teacher I have ever had. He managed to teach math in such an organized, easy to understand fashion. If i could take him for all the math classes i need till i graduate, i would do it in a heartbeat. DO NOT overlook his class, if you can take it, TAKE IT!

Great teacher! Goes over everything in steps- couldnt be more clear. He goes slow and makes sure everyone is okay before he proceeds. Answered any question I had the same day, since I took the class online it was self paced he tells you exactly what will be graded and gives you everything the first day so if your quick you can get the course over with in a week or two.

Simply the best math teacher/professor I've ever had. Mr. Magliaro has clear and reasonable expectations. Test is made up of homework problems and the homework goes toward your test grade. Pay attention, do your homework, and you'll get a A, even if you struggle with math.

Professor Magliaro is an awesome professor to take on-line. He gives you review/homework that is set up exactly like the exams . When I had questions, I would email him and he would return my email within a day or two. Overall I recommend taking him for Intermediate Algebra and College Algebra, You won't regret it.

Old guy who loves what he does. He's very kind and understanding. Gives homework which is beneficial for extra credit points on tests. He makes sure you leave the class understanding the material. Anyone who says otherwise obviously doesn't care about their education since they probably don't do any of their work.

This professor is friendly, but I would not recommend him. Homework was ridiculous especially for someone like me who works and goes to school. I would stay up until 1 am doing homework on most days. The final study review he gave was excellent except that the answer sheet didn't even list what pages to check to see formulas or steps.

I took the class online and never met the guy,but his notes were extremely helpful,he was open for questions and accepted my late homework which was really nice of him.Tried to take face to face class with him this semester,but the class was full already which is pretty self explanatory.Great teacher!!

Mr. Maglairo is a pretty good math teacher but make sure you study all the types of problems you've learned because he'll put problems on tests and finals that he didn't tell you to review over. Overall he's a pretty good teacher.

Mr. Margliaro was 1 of the best teachers I'v had since high school. He cares and wants to see everyone pass his class with an A or B. The homework is a lot, but if you keep up with it, it will not be a problem. He combines your homework into your test grade, so if your not a good test taker (like myself) it helps your grade out.

he wasnt to slow but he wasn't to fast, he was very nice and helpful when needed, he made sure everyone is on same page aslong as you do all the homework and pay attention to what he says and does you should be fine tutoring helped a lot i was shocked i passed, because i hate math and hate learning it

Prof Magliaro is awesome! I am not a math person, I couldn't ever understand it, but I passed two summer classes with Magliaro. He explains things very well and is more than willing to help. Do keep in mind that he is using his time to help you, so don't waste it. Come to class ready to learn not ready to barely pay attention and you'll do well.

I am TERRIBLE at math, yet Prof Magliaro breaks things down in a way that someone like me can actually understand what the heck he's talking about. He is a very patient, supportive instructor. When he says ask him ANY question, he means it. When he tells you he wants to be 100% sure you understand the material, he means it. Great prof all around

He will help you if you go to his office hour if you do not know how to do the math and he give a lot of homework and the homework you will get 4 points more on your test you only have 3 test and the 2 final

Gives clear instruction, is willing to help you understand when asked, uses the blackboard and occasionally pulls up the book to look at certain problems. Took Magliaro for a summer algebra class. His instructions were very clear, and the assignments were very helpful in preparing for the tests. I also had a few questions and he got back to me in the same day over email. Made algebra interesting and would any one of his classes again.

Great teacher! Took his class last semester online and did all of the homework that was required, which was not a lot. Gives a practice test which is almost the same thing as the actual test. Do the homework and do good on the test and you can past this class easily!

Great teacher. He works with you and explains everything in detail. sometimes it is repetitive but he ensures everyone understands the topic. It is possible to test out of the final if you do well. Attendance is necessary.

Professor Magliaro is the best math teacher I have ever had. I have struggled with math my entire life, but his clear and concise teaching made my life so much easier. If you have any issues with math at all, take his class and i promise you will not regret it! P.S there is a bit of homework, but it he doesn't check it till the day of the test.

Ive taken Mr Mag for 3 semesters at BCCC and he is nothing but helpful as long as you pay attention in class and do the homework he will do everything in his power to give you a passing grade!

He makes learning the material easy and makes what's going to be on the tests as clear as possible. Your going to have to study for tests though, otherwise you wont pass. However, if you do better on the final he replaces one of your test scores with the final score which was really helpful.

His review's are exactly how the test is. Do the review and you will have no problem passing this course. He counts homework as 5% towards your test grade, and are collected on test days.

Very willing to help. Math103 is an easy class. I did have to reteach myself everything as I haven't used algebra in years. Any questions I had he was very very helpful with. You complete about 10-12 HW assignments before each test which count as 5% towards your test grade. I got an A on all test and was exempt from the final. Great guy.

Mr. Magliaro is one of my favorite teachers because he actually cares. I was nervous about taking a math class online, but it was a great experience. The entire grade for the class is 3 tests plus a final. Homework is bundled into your test grade. If you understand the homework and the practice exams you will do great. Easy to communicate with.

10/10 professor, never walked out with a question unasnwered or unsure of what we went over in class. Really cares about his students and how they do and whether or not they learn

Love Mr. Magliaro! Second time taking him, and the expectations were again very clear. Always available to answer questions through Canvas (online class). Even if you do not understand the concepts, you are set up for success as long as you put in the effort.

Mr. Magliaro is an awesome teacher and great guy! I took him over zoom... he always made sure to teach exactly what you needed to know for the tests. The reviews were almost identical to the exams. Not only do you know exactly what to study for, but he also is very fair with grading and makes sure to give you extra credit for the homework you do.
