Bill is the type of teacher that inspires a person to want to make a real difference in the world. He is such a great translator of the tough texts. Bring your friends to class! Makes you want to go out and do something in the world. Very willing to meet anytime outside of class to talk further about ideas or clarify something from class. Likes people. Don't agree with his ideas? No problem. He's always down for a great discussion. Essay tests and take home tests can be tough, watch out!

I hated this class! All my negative vibes were in this class. All the sexual jokes and heavy amount of cursing is gonna get him fired one day. Very inappropriate and immature.

Very unprofessional! He curses to much!! I couldn't concentrate in class because of the heavy amount of profanity he uses! I only hung in there tightly because this is my last semester because I'm graduating and thankfully I passed but I did not enjoy this class at all!

I was about to drop his class at the because because I felt so uncomfortable with so much profanity that he's always using. He needs to wash that mouth of his before coming to work. It makes him look bad. He's quite immature for a grown man in his old age.

It was very difficult for me to concentrate in his class as he is constantly always making inappropriate jokes and is always using derogatory language and curse words. He lacks professionalism and maturity. I reported him. Thankfully I passed this class and am about to graduate in a few days!

This guy seriously needs to better his communication skills and language expression and needs to wash his mouth so he can stop saying so many inappropriate comments during his lectures. I've never had a professor like this with that kind of behavior. He's very vulgar and I'm surprised nobody (not one person) has reported him or anything.

I felt very uncomfortable taking his class due to the amount of profanity he uses it's really disturbing. I would feel uncomfortable and very anxious in all his classes. I didn't like interacting with him much he creeped me out. There are other philosophy professors that are a better choice.

Would take again

Very caring professor that was super communicative. Earlier in the semester I had to drop a particularly nasty english professor that would fulfill my last credit to graduate. After asking Prof Stewart to let me in, he did. Lots of supplemental material and fun content to engage with. Not sure whats with all these negative reviews, very good prof!
