FINALLY someone who knows how to TEACH math! Take every class he teaches!!! He is intelligent enough to bother to figure out how best to present complex concepts (he can teach!!).and he is a hoot! Gives a large assignment in the beginning of the course, but gives you plenty of time to complete. Also avialable for help.

Math can be a very boring subject (statistics, probability, calculus). Mr. Teats has the rare gift to teach to the level of his students, without talking down to them. The class was challenging (lot of work to do), but his grading was fair. Too bad it's my last class (I'm graduating in May), I'd take him again in a second.

GREAT CLASS! Mr. Teats is the reason students succeed in math! He REALLY knows how to teach and cares that his students "get-it". Uses real life examples and doesn't rely solely on dry textbook approaches. Lots of assignments but necessary to understand concepts. This is one professor who deserves a gold star for his teaching skill and dedication!

I was terrified of failing at first. Math was not my strong point in high school as far as grades went. Teats drags you in with warmth from the first lesson, and even if you're half asleep, you stay awake just for those corny jokes he makes. Also, he's great help for after class questions and rewards honest efforts with decent fair slack if needed.

I was SO scared to take a math class at Wilmington. Mr. Teats helped me understand problems and took the time to work with me on any issues I had involving my homework. He really is interested in helping students learn and have fun while doing it. Always puts a smile on your face!! GREAT TEACHER!!!!

Mr. Teats is a great Math professor. He keeps class interesting with little jokes and funny comments. He hardly uses the book, which isn't too bad. Each week there is a handout to follow with examples, which help with the homework and test (which are take home). Easy to get an A, but some work is obviously required to do so.

Professor Teats is the guy you want to take if you need Math at WU. The guy has the rare ability to actually TEACH mathematics, and does so in a manner that you really are able to grasp the concepts. He does give a fair amount of work, but such is necessary in a math course. He is always willing to help before/after class and is extremely helpful.

Great professor, easy to talk too and ask questions of. If you have a question-ask-he will keep working with you till you understand. You get about an hour of homework a week, all quizzes are take home and the final is open book, open note and you basically review the "type and style" questions the week before the final as a review.

I was a D student in math in high school. If not for his dedication & willingness to help you understand, I would've gotten a D here too. Is very succinct about what's expected, but show up to class or you'll miss a lot.

I wish Professor Teats taught more math courses. He is an amazing instructor, has the unique ability to really TEACH math. If you don't understand, he will break the problems down and walk you through with small steps to help you identify exactly what you're having trouble. Mr. Teats is an awesome guy, one of the best math teachers I've had thus far. Attendance really helps your grade in the course, but he makes everything extremely easy to understand. If I had to take another math course- it would absolutely be with him.

I am not great at math. Mr. Teats was an awesome teacher and presented the material in a way that was easy to understand and took the time to answer questions and give us a stet-by-step explanation on problems we didn't understand right away. I would highly recommend Mr. Teats.

Professor Teats is the best math teacher I've ever had in my entire life. He is extremely helpful, and has no problem with staying after class (on his own time) if one does not understand something. This man should be given awards. He is strict with assignments being turned in on time, but this is college. 5 out of 5!

He is not very understanding when it comes to missing classes. Even if you have to attend a funeral. Explains everything, shows examples. Tests are take home although final is in class. He is somewhat a jerk.

4 semesters of college and Mr. Teats is easily the best one I've ever had. Doesn't beat things into the ground but makes sure EVERYONE in the class is clear on the material. likes to throw jokes in there to keep it light, many of them being pretty clever. It was a pleasure being in Mr. Teats' class this year. In class he is open to all questions and he is very clear when teaching the material. He makes sure that each student understands and is engaged. He even jokes around every once in a while to keep the mood light. Most importantly he is very fair! Overall, an outstanding teacher!

If you hate math, this is the guy to take. I absolutely despise math and was not looking forward to taking this class whatsoever. But Mr. Teats explained everything thoroughly and made sure all the material was understood. He is a great teacher and cracked jokes, making class enjoyable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: Teats is an excellent teacher. He is able to present course material in a clear and effective manner; pauses to make sure that the students understand the material, and will take time to answer any questions. Teats also understands humor/sarcasm (very important), and allows students to take breaks when they feel it's necessary.

Teats is a great teacher! He goes over the information during class, gives you a packet of questions similar to the class work for homework, and the test is exactly like the homework. As long as you pay attention, go to class, and do your work you can easily get an A!

Great Teacher. Always to Class on time. All quiz's and tests are take home.Final is open book open notes. Explains problems well. Is available for help if needed. However, his class is not easy. But if u come to class and do the handouts with him you will get a good grade.

Never in my educational career have I enjoyed, nor understood mathmatics. However,after completing Professor Teat's course, I feel confident and able to take on challenging math problems. I can now say I think mathmatically, which is the main idea I received from the course. Its all about how you set up the tools that the problems gives you.

He is the best math teacher I've ever had. He takes his time to make up packets that have all the notes in them. As long as you pay attention and go to class, it will go very smoothly, especially if math isn't your subject. All the tests are take home except the final which is open notes in class. Bill is one of the best professors I've ever had. He pushed me to do better and each session I progressively got better.
