Great teacher... super nice. He always encourages creativity. He likes to make it fun. One day for Journal we watched a part of the Simpsons and analyzed it. Fun and nice.

Wade Bradford is a wonderful instructor. He is not easy, but he makes the class fun and is very funny. You don't necessarily slack in his class, but, you do learn a lot. I would take him again for other english courses in a heartbeat.

Mr. Bradford is an awesome teacher, he's funny and interesting. He's not easy and not hard, although he did choose really crapy books for us to read for assignments. Take him he is really a cool guy.

If you can write well; precise, eloquence, and knowledgeable then this class should be fine for you. The teacher is very smart, cool, decent grader and care about his students. There was some assignment that served no purpose but it's not so bad. Expect to do some presentations (1 or 2)& group work

prof bradford was really awesome! i cant write to save my life, but i got an A! he helps you when you ask, and goes over stuff well. we watched his movie for an assignment. he's funny, down to earth, just a cool teacher.

Mr bradford was a very kool professor. I got an A. I have a friend who writes the worst essays i have ever read and he got a B in the class. He is an awsome teacher and a fair grader i would recommend him.

he's good-looking but married, lol. sometimes can be unclear on what he wants, but a very easy grader and easy essays.

prof. bradford is a really fun teacher. I had his class early in the morning and it was nice to wanna actually go to a class. hes funny and has a lot to say thats interesting. make sure and do all the papers though cause not doing one drops u low.

Very good teacher. Relaxed grading, fun class to go to. His in class exercises are always pretty interesting and the essay topics are relatively easy. Good guy, class was never really boring.

Eng - Critical Thinking & Comp. Lots of writing for a summer class. Reading "Art of War", Man & Superman, The Prince. Thought provoking pieces for analysis. Creative, constructed inclass discussions and exercises. Requirements were upfront and clear. He was accessible and helpful. Genuinely a good teacher, interested and interesting.

Loved this guy, younger teacher, he gets you thinking. Great methods, take his class!

All around great guy. Always provides more than one option for each paper or in-class essay. Extremely easy B, but fairly difficult A. If you are a good student, he will bring the best out of you. Class was always fun and interesting, but you have to voice your opinion. Very nice, smart, funny, and reasonable person. Highly reccomend him to all.

Wade is a GREAT teacher!! He truly loves what he does and has a passion for it which makes class fun! You do have to go to class, but this is one of the only classes that I didn't mind going to. He would give us the type of essay and then let us pick our own fun topic that interested us! I got an A fairly easily, go to class, write good essays!

Very helpful and understanding. You get extra points for attending class. I missed class almost every other week and still received a B. Lots of fun group work/workshops. You get to choose your own research topic. No textbook!

Bradford is a good guy. He makes class interesting and it isn't a class you ever feel like missing. He has great ideas for essays and in class work. I highly recomend taking him for your first english class at Moorpark College!

My favorite english teacher ever! He genuinely cares about making the material interesting and every essay was honestly fun to write. Hard to get As on the essays but easy Bs. Books are cheap and interesting. Class discussions are always fun and make time fly. Attend every class and participate a lot and you will get an easy A like I did.

Easiest teacher i have come across.. doesnt really care if you go to class. he is fun and goes on tangents talking about absolutely nothing of importance through out the entire class. REALLY FUNNY AND COOL GUY. really easy grader on papers. and not much homework. EASY A!!

This guy is awesome! I'm not really much of an English person but he made it sooo fun! He sets guidelines for papers but you pretty much get to write about anything you want.  Attendence isn't necessarily mandatory but it does count, besides you won't really want to miss anyway! I highly recommend this class to anyone who hates English!!!

WOW, I seriouly love this professor. He is soo amazing. He is the best english teacher. He understands that noone is perfect at righting and we got to pick our topics for our essays, there are 3 out of class essays that are super easy and 2 In class essays. I didnt try hard at all and i recieved an A. I definatly recommend him, hes the best!!

Prof. Bradford was one my favorite teachers at Moorpark. He was really helpful and I dreaded going to class before after I was in his class i wanted to go. It was fun and interesting. Keeps you updated on your grade. I dont think anyone failed!

Soooo funny and incredibly intelligent. He really had a knack for picking discussion topics that were relevant and difficult enough to make us really think. Take the fact that he's really hot as a total plus!

Professor Bradford's class is a lot of fun, he is incredibly nice and funnny. You write a few papers and there are a few reading assignments. The class is easy, but you definetly learn a lot and you will get more comfortable writing all kinds of papers. Attendance boosts your final grade.

Great Professor! You have some reading assignments to do and maybe a few quizes. There are several essays but he explains the topics well. It's not MANDATORY to go but you loose participation if you dont. If you try, you should be able to easily pass this class!

This professor has a great sense of humor. Gives you the time of day to give your thoughts and opinions and is very respectful. Most of the essays are your choice of topic, very clever on his part! You can eat, nap, drink, almost anything in his class he doesn't mind. I've never looked forward to an English class in my life..his is the first.

I'm realy to be truful bad in english. but This professor is striaght out super awsome. I learned a lot and understood things that I never thought before or would have never think about. There is one midterm in-class essay and a final inclass essay. Two other essays and a liture anlysis essay from the book you be reading. It seems a lot be it nope.

He showed the double rainbow video and tied it into robert frost. about 7 essays total and you can use notes for the midterm and final. very eccentric teacher keeps you entertained I thought I was a horrible writer but putting some effort into his class i've received A's on all my papers. i highly recommend him

Great professor! Nicest teacher. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. His class is very straight forward. Couple quizzes that are really easy if you read. If you miss class, it's really not a big deal. Very FAIR on how he grades his essays too. If you can manage to get in his class, you got really lucky.

He is the most helpful English teacher! He prepares you well enough to write essays. Shows samples of what is expected. There are short quizzes as long as you did the reading you will be fine.3 required in expense books. Attendance is mandatory, it helps your grade a lot if you are there. Take him, he will help you become confident in your writing!

Amazing professor! I've taken him for 3 semesters non stop! He grades fairly, tests you on what you've learned in class. He helps you make your thesis statements strong and to the point. He also uses his sense of humor in his teachings every class. take him. You won't regret it!

I am currently in his MO1A class. He's a great teacher, you can tell he loves what he does and he is interested in helping all the students. You do 5 essays and they are all very straightforward. Almost no homework, the essays make up a big part of your grade. He's realllly attractive! Can't say I don't like looking at him. Young, funny, and cute.

awesome guy, really knows his stuff. he is really funny with his interpretation of what he thinks is going on in plays and what not. 3 essays, easy, last one a little harder. 3 or 4 little quiz short answer things, easy if you do the readings, he doesnt make them hard questions at all. by far one of the best teachers at moorpark in the english dep.

He's not the easiest teacher in the world but as long as you do his assignments and attend classes where there's groupwork or participation involved, you'll get at least a B. He's really nice and willing to read your essay and tell you exactly what you need. He hunts plagarized homework so don't do it! He'll catch you!

He's a really great teacher for the subject; he knows it very well. He keeps the class consistent with a fair level of difficulty. The material you read is very interesting and unlikely to bore you. He has a number of pop quizzes based on the readings, a midterm (that's open book), a final (also open book), and three essays. Take this class.

Hes a great teacher, but very challenging. You wont get an A unless you were already a high level writer before you took the class. Very hard but a good teacher.

Absolute best instructor I have every had. He listens to everyone, and takes the time to answer anyone and everyone's question. Not to mention he is never in a bad mood, and always fun to be around. One of the funniest professors I have had to date.

Amazing Teacher!! He really made the class connect into group discussions. It's not an easy A. You really have to try and do ALL your work. You have to write some in class essays but he grades them fairly easy. BUY THE BOOKS HE SAYS YOU NEED!!!! You use them practically every single class.

Best English Professor. He is such a nice and funny teacher. Makes class very interesting with his explanations and always seem to be in a good mood. Easy class overall. Only 3 papers(1 short story analysis, 1 Poetry analysis, and 1 Drama analysis). 2 in class essays and Random quizzes(Quite easy). Some E.C also available. Highly recommend.

The only negative thing I would say about him is that his class was way too easy. This is good news to a lot of people: EASY A. I was just hoping for more in-depth literature. Other than that, Bradford is wonderful!

Such an amazing English professor who has a teaching quality of an Ivy league school! Summer classes are tough to concentrate & this class is 3hr long, 2X/week, but he makes it feel like 1hr. I don't know how he does it but I've never felt bored in his class. I'm not the best writer, but with his help/comments, I was able to get decent grades.

Hands down, the BEST class I have ever taken! His lectures are interesting & he gives group activities, which are SO much fun! His papers aren't tough if you do them right. Here it is: Bradford is probably the easiest English professor you will ever take. Bradford is one of the most hilarious professors you will ever take. Bradford is one of the kindest professors you will ever take. Bradford loves literature just like any good English professor you will ever take. Bradford looks like Jim Carrey.

Expectations are clear. Do the work: you'll earn an A. Don't do the work: you'll earn a mediocre grade. We read one book and various short essays. The class focuses on basic writing style. Funny guy, very enjoyable to listen to. Way too much group work, not enough writing, IMO. Very forgiving to slackers. Unfair to the rest who do the work, IMO.

He is a very informed and passionate teacher. He has a hunger for great writing and communication, and is eager to share this with students. He brings up many great points of thought and contemplation in his lectures, presenting fascinating themes and ideas to inspire students. He's a great teacher to take if you're looking to improve your writing.

Professor Bradford's class was by far one of the best! His criteria is very clear, his grading is very helpful, although we did have to read a few books and took a 3 - 4 question test after every chapter it was very simple, just read! He enjoys talking a lot but he is very funny, friendly and only assigns 5 essays max. Will take again! :)

i took an accelerated course class with this teacher. Expect essays, he gives clear criteria on how to do said essays. for the final and midterm, expect in class essays, minimum 6 paragraphs long. his essay pages are average to above average, around 5 pages. if you take this class, you will agonize if you try to do the essay on the last second.

Prof. Bradford is awesome. I WISH THERE WERE MORE PROFESSORS LIKE HIM! If you read the materials, show up to class, participate, and do good on all the quizzes, tests, and essays, you'll get an easy A.

Best professor at Moorpark by far. He really loves his job and makes learning very enjoyable. He is super nice and always willing to help. You can really tell that he wants his students to succeed. I wish he taught more classes. Participation and showing up to class is a must.

Great guy. He's very open minded towards diversity in student writing. Well organized curriculum. Not too much reading, but quizzed on the few short stories read. Turn in everything and you'll definitely get an A.

Bradford is a caring professor and makes his class fun. He likes to make jokes and tell stories. His class is requires little work, although you have to read a few essays and write daily journals(which are not turned in). There are 3 easy in class essays(including the final), and 3 out of class papers, but are given lots of time to complete them.

I really enjoyed his class and I was lucky to have a great group of students in my class as well. There's reading but the reading is actually interesting. His lectures were fun and inspiring. He will actually help you and even inspire you to write something you want to write about.

I took this professor for both English M01A and M01B. In both semesters, I found him to be a great professor who both understood what he was doing beyond the shadow of a doubt and a professor whose classes were meaningful every session. He's funny, caring, and a great professor especially for those beginning their first semester at Moorpark.

I am horrible in his class, and am consistently really late ( i suggest his later class not the 8am) he was never mean even when he probably should have been, and he nevertheless happily handed me the work for the day upon entry. take him!

At first I didn't know if I would like Bradford, but he turned out to be one of my best teachers. The class was very laid back and comfortable. A lot of group work and one presentation for the final. The guidelines for the few papers he assigns are very straight forward. He's very helpful and has a good sense of humor. I highly recommend him!

Mr. Bradford is awesome. He is a great educator and a pretty swell guy overall. I was never very good at English in highschool, even considering it my least favorite subject. And while I still am not a fan of English, Wade made the class fun and relatively easy to grasp. I can't think of taking an english class with anyone else.

I took this class last semester and learned a lot on how to correctly and efficiently write various types of essays. He gives good lectures and positive feedback. I'd recommend him to others. Glad I chose his class and hope to have him for my next English class.

I cannot speak highly enough of Wade. He is my very favorite professor at Moorpark. He is a published children's author himself, which gives him an insider's perspective on fiction. Wade exudes joy and humor, and makes classes feel more like book club meetings. He has a heart full of kindness and genuinely cares about his students as individuals.

He answers any questions you may have, either by email or office hours. He gives really good feedback for essay writings. I'd take him again.

He is awesome, kind, and has a great personality. Essays aren't hard either and gives great feedback so you can improve on your writing. There is one presentation, but if you have anxiety he lets you do it after class with him. Also, he wears great shirts, my favorite one is the one with dogs and cats.

I have always disliked English classes, but Professor Bradford made English class fun. He is knowledgable about the subject & really tries to engage his students. One textbook, a few essays, and a presentation, quizzes are based on readings, a midterm and final. Grading is fair. If you give him respect he will show you the same.

LOVE bradford. he is so nice and caring. we never had any tests, only small quizzes that arent hard. yes you do have to show up most of the time. I recommend him to everyone. I was a terrible writer throughout my high school, I always got Cs in high school essay but got an A on every essay for his class! he keeps the class very alive and funny!

Overall, an amazing professor. He really cares about his students and tries to make the class as exciting as he can. Yes, you have to write papers, but its nothing out of the ordinary for a college level English class. Take his quizes seriously because they can really help boost your grade. He also offered extra credit throughout the semester.

Professor Bradford was 10/10 one of the best English professors I've had at Moorpark. He gives reading almost every night, but it's super short and usually painless. He gives three papers, a midterm, a final, and 'pop quizzes' sometimes after homework reading. Great lectures with tons of stories and uses voices while reading! Great Prof!

Mr. Bradford was amazing. He always made class feel interesting and really teaches. Theres a few quizzes here and there and in class essays but nothing you cant handle.

Honestly one of the best professors I have ever taken! He is so kind, and encourages you to learn. His main teaching is that any interpretation of any work is valid as long as you have evidence for it! This class was so fun and I looked forward to every class session

super easy class. took him for English M01 A and M01B. He is super nice and loves teaching. His class is super easy, he grades pretty easy. There are some essays but not a lot of them. Not alot of HW. Take him you will love him. super easy and super nice.

This class was one of the most enjoyable classes I've ever taken, and that's because of the professor. His approach to teaching this class allowed the students so much creative freedom while still guiding us enough to avoid writer's block. It was a lot of writing, but fun. And his feedback is fantastic! I grew so much as an author in his class!

He is such a nice guy! He gives great feedback and he isnt too harsh with grading!There are essays assigned but they are super manageable and he spends a bunch of time explaining. There isnt that much homework other than short essays he makes you read. He gives random pop quizzes on the readings but they are super easy. Definitely take him!!

Funny teacher who doesn't set up his students to fail. Grades pretty easy and gives easy points for group discussions. There are two essay papers but as long as you follow the format he wants you basically get an A. I'm and ACCESS student and it's hard to find teachers to work with and he is by far the best and second time taking 1 of his classes.

If you want a great English Professor and you want to pass Wade Bradford is the way to go. I have know him for many years as we belong to the same theater group,I have never had a Professor who cares so much about his students , who is passionate about teaching is Hilarious with lectures. He was also very understanding during Covid 19. A+ Teacher

Even when classes went online, Prof. Bradford made sure that our class went smoothly. Yes, we didn't have as many lectures, but most of the work we had left were readings and 2 essays. He loves when people ask questions because it means that they want to learn more, even if it means going slightly off-topic for a minute or three.

Bradford is amazing! You read SHORT stories (there are easy quizzes for them), poems, and plays; and two big essays that are 2000+ words. Class was very fun, lots of participation and engaging. Bradford is hilarious and a relatively nice grader. I recommend to take him for every English class you need to take!

Professor Bradford is a wonderful teacher. His English class revolves around how to write essays, but it is not too difficult. There is an 8-10 page research paper as the final, but he gives plenty of help for that and all other papers. He gives plenty of helpful feedback and is very kind and fun to listen to. I highly recommend taking his class.

Professor Bradford is an amazing English teacher! He had four essays throughout the semester which were exceptionally easy. A couple of discussion posts but were very easy. The final essay paper is 8-10 pages but if you pick a good research topic, it is very easy. Gives good feedback and grades easy. 10/10 recommend. He also responds to emails!

This was one of my favorite English professors I had, professor Bradford is a cool guy his class has good discussions and gives great feedback on them. There are three of them for his class if you don't do too well, he will let you fix your mistakes and give you a better score. Overall a great professor and cares for his students.

Professor Wade Bradford is one of the best teachers I've ever had. He was very clear on his lecture videos and always willing to help. Responds to emails quickly. He leaves very helpful, wonderful comments and details on how to fix your mistakes on an essay, which he gives you points for at the end of the semester. I really enjoyed this class!!!

Professor Bradford is a really easygoing person who really cares about his students. There is a lot of reading (poems, short stories, plays), but he explains everything in class. He had 2 essays and 1 presentation that he gave constructive feedback for + 2 vocabulary quizzes. Everything is out of 100 points, but he gives extra credit. He's awesome!

I really enjoyed Professor Bradford's class. He and his lectures are easy-going and he responds to his emails often. He also gave our class an extra-credit essay to do for those who want to bump up their grade. After finishing his class, I kind of felt more confident in my writing.

AMAZING! Best English prof at moorpark, hands down! He was super funny, kind, and respectful during class! He made English fun for me! Essays had intriguing prompts, and were always given outstanding and thorough feedback. He also gave helpful tips on how to write effectively! Assignments were easy and essays were fun! Loved every minute of class!!

Professor Bradford is such an amazing guy. He made the class very enjoyable with his lectures, there was very little homework and it usually involved reading. Only two vocab quizzes and three essays were he gave amazing feedback on all of them and even gave us the opportunity to resubmit for a better grade. Overall everything was straightforward.

He is by far my favorite english teacher I have ever had! He makes the class and material fun. He was super understanding and accommodating, and he made me excited to read and write (which i usually hate more than anything). I definitely recommend this class to everyone!

A genuinely amazing teacher and person. If you are taking his course online, it'll easily be the most enjoyable English class you'll ever have. His prerecorded lectures are so much fun to watch. I was so hooked that I even started watching his youtube channel. He works with students to make essay prompts that he makes for each individual student.

Bradford was overall an amazing professor, probably the best one I've had at Moorpark. He made me excited to attend his class due to how funny his lectures were, and will help you a lot the essays and assignments. You will have to read a lot, but the stories are pretty short and interesting for the most part and you will only have a few essays.

This guy is awesome. He keeps class interesting by doing a lot of small group work. He's funny/Goofy, gets to know his individual students, and is extremely helpful when you're writing a paper. I was very impressed by his class.

Professor Wade is an outstanding and caring professor. Professor Wade truly cares for students success, and he's reachable in and out of class. He's always willing to talk you, and gives amazing feedback on essays.

Super easy class, as long as you show up and message him before if you can't make it you'll be okay. A lot of in-class work which was easy and nice since you didn't have to go home an do a bunch of homework. He is super nice and caring and will let you revise your paper many times. Easy A

One of the best professors at Moorpark. He cares if you are actually learning and wants you to leave the class with an A. Do all the assignments, and if you fall behind on class work, or essays, shoot him an email. He responds quickly and only wants the best for you.

Very interesting professor! He tells a lot of stories. Assignments were pretty easy. The way he talks reminds me of John Mulaney

Class is pretty easy if you participate and do the work. The participation is done in self-picked groups 9/10 times, but the work you present in class isn't graded for quality and he has the most innovative and entertaining prompts I have ever seen. He's really friendly, accommodating, and open to questions. Only 4 essays. Take the class, trust me.

Professor Bradford makes this class fun and engaging. Readings are interesting, and he provides great feedback on essays. Unstuck study was a huge help for prepping. Highly recommend this class!

one of my favorite English teachers so far. 3 "major" essays throughout the semester, none were too hard and I am not good at writing. Not a tough grader and gives great feedback on all your assignments. Barely any homework throughout semester and he's a great guy and makes the class entertaining in my opinion. Work in groups almost everyday .

Honestly, can't say enough good things about professor Bradford! He lets you revise the essay before you submit it in! Was such a help! Definitely recommend.

Super nice professor. He can go off topic at times. He gives good feedback for the essays. I think there could be more creative types of assignments though. He seems to care about his students and he is a gentleman as well. I also enjoyed talking to him.

Professor Bradford is a very nice and respectful teacher, you do need to show up to class but he's very reasonable if you have to miss. There is a good amount of writing but he gives the students a lot of freedom to write whatever they want and if you enjoy writing to any degree you will enjoy most of his assignments.

We would be assigned some readings then write in class essays (which were just 2-3 paragraphs long). Professor was very understanding of you missed a class. You'd just make up for the assignments/quizzes next time you see him. Only problem I had was he was not fast at replying to emails/did not reply at all.

Extremely candid and relatable professor, he allows so much room for personal choice and creativity. All assignments are your thoughts on good poems, movies, plays, etc. The final was writing the first 800 words of a story and one or two other short papers throughout the term. As long as you participate honestly and respectfully, you will be fine
