Professor Cornelius has a very easy-going and understandable course. Also, if you don't like speaking in front of a class, he is a great choice.

The instructions on assignments are clear and he even goes out of his way to make sure we understand by making videos of himself explaining them. There's more than enough time to finish the work and when we do speeches we have even more than the usual time. Professor Cornelius really taught us how to structure, organize, and deliver our speeches!

Professor Cornelius is awesome, super easy to follow he makes videos for all the assignments of each week. I took this class online in the summer, there are only two speeches you have to present and record. Not a lot of work and easy to do

I was actually recommended by him by two of my study buddies that taken him at different times. I love that I was to learn the material very well without being drowned in homework. Even if I taken him during Summer I, I'm glad that his class was efficient, streamline and super fun. I even recommended my professor to one of my friends too.

I would recommend this professor! As long as you do the work you will pass! We only had to do two speeches, and he gives feedback on what you need to approve. He also gives many examples on how to do the work for each week. Apart from all of that, he is also funny. He makes the class interesting.

Really organized class and easy assignments

Mr. Wade is a great professor. When I was searching for a professor to take a speech course with, I was a bit hesitant about this one, but boy was I wrong. His assignments are easy, yet they make you take the time to read, take notes and ask questions. A few speeches and weekly quizzes. This professor is a must take!

He's a very good teacher and his class was very easy. He gives you a week to complete his assignments, he doesn't really assign much work. He also provides you with chapters and ted-talks that have all the answers to your work. I strongly recommend him, his class was easy, well organized, and helpful.

His class is an easy A, I took it during summer and I would finish the assignments of the week on Monday. He gives you the chapters of the book that you need, so no need to buy one. The grade that matters the most is a presentation, but it is honestly super easy!

This class was great! He explained all assignments in class which was very helpful. The classwork is also very easy and I learned a lot from those assignments. I definitely struggled a lot at the beginning with public speaking but I think that this class has helped me improve my skills. I also appreciate how he tries to make class fun.

This was probably the easiest class I have taken, second to headstart. The assignments are very straightforward and easy to complete. The Professor is decently lenient on the speeches, and there are many extra credit opportunities.

I had heard of Professor Cornelius before, all good things that runed out to be true. He is an excellent grader and recently learned he is flexible and understanding in extreme cases. That being said, he is strict with due dates, make sure to stick to them, which isn't hard if you plan correctly.

This was the first professor I had that had a whole YouTube page dedicated to what they taught which I thought was very convenient throughout the course. Mr. Cornelius is a very good teacher and I would say that I learned a lot about public speaking within the time I had him without having a whole load of work. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Corneiluies is an excellent teacher that does a very good job at demonstrating and preparing his students on how to overcome their anxiety of public speaking. One complaint that I do have is that some of his lectures are quite long, and could probably be finished in about half the time. Overall, great teacher.

10/10 recommend! Tells funny corny jokes, and lesson plans are super clear and easy to follow. Due dates are not hard to follow with the way he has the content set up. Must to speeches and participate in them. Definitely would recommend taking him for Speech 1315!

At first, I thought Chris Hemsworth was only an actor but it turns out that he's a professor at EPCC and an amazing one at that. He is a very fair professor and if you give his class the respect it deserves then it's a very easy class. One of my favorite classes I have taken thanks to this amazing professor.

I had a lot of fun in his class! A lot of his lectures were fun to listen and they made learning about communication interesting compared to previous classes I've had. There was also a lot of opportunities to be a part of the conversation as well, very much a class that has a lot of lecture participation but it's not that bad.

He does say when everything is due , he just doesn't say, "Your work is late, you might want to do that". His jokes were rough though (he also goes on tangents).

Mr.Cornelius is a good teacher, taking his class online I was nervous on how it was going to work, but it went better than expected. He provided the text book we needed all we had to pay for was the application to do the speeches in (if you're doing online). I really recommend his class, he told us exactly what to do and what was expected.

he's a great teacher. I took this class as a winter mini-semester and it was easy. There are two speeches. You don't have to buy a book, which is nice. You have to pay $25 for a program (not bad honestly). The class is easy; you just need to set time aside to do all of the work. Speeches are 40%, exams are 35%, and coursework is 25% of your grade.

He is super organized and his assignments are well coordinated and easy to understand.

I really enjoyed learning in this class, the professor made the class a place I was excited to go to learn. Mr.Cornelius teaching abilities are great as he goes over the content in a way that everybody is able to understand as he also uses a lot of examples in his lectures and with one of his methods which is of telling stories that relate to the content it is really easy to remember the content as it leaves an impression on you.

I loved having Cornelius online. Every week on mondays he posts videos on what we are supposed to do assignment wise. He is very clear and concise with everything. He has a very a very clear grading rubric. Very simple and easy. I took it online and it was just great to have him.

He is a good professor, but I would consider not taking it in a summer semester if you like to procrastinate and be lazy. The work can be a lot. Overall, his work is easy, and you get a good grade if you do everything.

This was by far one of the best summer courses I have ever taken. He literally gives you the PowerPoint and textbook chapter where you can find the answers to the assignments as well as videos. He also gave us unlimited attempts on most assignments. He was easy to reach through Blackboard, and we didn't need to buy a textbook. 10/10 teacher

Professor Cornelius was an amazing professor overall. Was very easy going and accessible to any questions you may have. It was a super easy class especially for it to be during the summer. The work was very easy, and he gives you enough time to complete every assignment that is given. I truly did enjoy this class and would definitely take it again.

If you're trying to decide what speech class to take and worried if it will be too hard and won't understand I would 100% recommend Professor Cornelius! He clearly states everything he wants and explains it clearly, provides many examples (some visuals as well). Automatic grading, and provides lots of information.

He beat Tik Tok! It's difficult to stay engaged these days, but Professor Cornelius' approach of weaving humor, video content, class movement, & discussion into his lectures kept me focused. Above all, he makes you think about how the material is relevant to each of our lives and how we need to use our abilities to do some good in this world.

I took a mini-mester with him and it was a breath of fresh air. He actually practices what he teaches such as designing websites, mobile apps, working in the private sector and professional speaking for other occasions. He helped me design a website for my own personal business that I want to expand. His class was an absolute game changer!

Easy work, he practices what he teaches. Everything is dynamic an easy to learn. There's regular amount of work, but gives a lot of time to have it done. I'll def take this course again.

This class was pretty easy to take as long as you read your weekly chapter, study, and follow along you'll have an A+. There is nothing too difficult to do there is participation in the class. I would take another class with Professor Wade.

I LOVED Mr. Cornelius class. One of my friends recommended I take speech with him and he did not disappoint. I take classes at Valle Verde but traveled to Northwest for his class and it was well worth it. He has a unique way of keeping you engaged. In a sea of mundane instructors EPCC has found a diamond in the rough with Professor Cornelius.

Take this class is too easy and you learned a lot.

Amazing professor! Mr. Cornelius teaches really well and will work with you to help you understand everything. His lectures are entertaining and really get the point across. He is one of the best professors I have ever had and I would definitely recommend taking his class for speech.

Overall great professor. He dives deep into ways to handle crowd anxiety while making it comforting at the same time and he doesn't just tell you "to imagine the crowd is naked", he legitimately tells you how to get stay on track, how to be properly prepared, and even ways to even avoid anxiety from evening coming. Great professor, great guy.

Professor Cornelius is amazing! Even though I selected his course online, he was very communicative. He is very clear with assignments. Assignments are easy, just about reading the textbook. You do have to do some writing exercises (just to make sure you have an understanding of the unit) it's all easy! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PROFESSOR CORNELIUS!!

it's a pretty breezy class. the only drawback is that if you are taking it online, like how i did, you will have an ai software called pitch vantage that will grade your speeches. it's pretty annoying, but other than that, it's an easy going class for normal reading assignments and assessments. 10/10 professor, though! can't go wrong with that.

Professor Cornelius was very organized with all the course's information. He gives clear instructions and gives the student plenty of time to complete HW, quizzes and lectures. He is also very understanding if life gets in the way. He provides the chapters of the textbook that is needed for each weeks assignments.

I really enjoyed the dynamics of the class, it gave me the opportunity to succeed in school and remain focused on work. Everything was well organized and easy to locate. Assignments were explained thoroughly and examples of expectations were always included. I would definitely recommend this course along with the Professor.

Professor Cornelius is awesome. He is an easy grader. He answers all of your questions or concerns, as well as any tips on public speaking he highlights the most important part about knowing how to speak in public. the assignments were fairly easy, and the course online did provide a textbook which was great.

He offers different types of learning techniques such as videos, PowerPoints, and articles. He responds quickly and allows you to fix your mistakes.

Amazing teacher! I took this class online because I got deployed, and he understood my situation and gave me extra time when needed. You will be fine if you show that you want to try and finish the class. He explains assignments with YouTube videos he made and gives you examples from other YouTube videos, too. Excellent class.

It was one of the best classes I have ever had. The professor explains everything perfectly and uses YouTube videos for online classes. You don't have to worry about the textbook because he provides it. Fantastic course, and I would retake it if I had to.

Very easy to approach and understand the teacher. Course work is very easy and straight forward to understand but it can be time consuming. I would recommend this instructor to other students who need to take a public speaking or other related course.

I decided to take this class at 8 am and Mr. Wade always found a way to keep up engaged and wide awake despite the time. He makes funny jokes and has an outgoing personality. His lessons were to the point and easy to understand. He is also a professor I always felt comfortable asking questions if I had any. TAKE THIS CLASS

I took this class during the winter minimester, and it was easy, especially with the holidays. He allows you to complete your work roughly within a week; therefore, no late work. However, the assignments were not time-consuming. Also, responds within the timeframe in the syllabus and provides the textbook.

Gives very clear instructions and even provides video examples. You present your speeches through a different website but he shows you how to use that as well. He is very understanding and easy to contact, highly recommend just be sure to submit assignments on time!

Great class! It was 4 week course with a lot of work but at the same time it was very flexible, I was able to submit all my assignments even with work and holidays. The teacher is very good at giving us detailed instructions I never felt lost and everything was easy to find.

The course was very easy to navigate, and the professor was a fair grader. You will definitely need to read the textbook. Some chapters can be unusually long, but still doable.

Very good professor, I personally took the class online and I feel that was a relaxed class with quit a few but easy tasks.

I did not know what to expect from an online speech class, but Mr. Cornelius made it interesting with his video lectures and instructions. I fell behind in the middle of the course, but there were enough grades to pick my average back up. The assignments are very easy to understand as well. I would definitely recommend him for Speech 1315.

I took his online public speaking class and had an overall great experience. There were three mandatory presentations that we would do on pitchvantage to an ai audience, making it incredibly accessible and accommodating. Course content was thorough and there was a lot of supplementary material. Highly recommend! He's a great and passionate teacher.
