He's a young teacher, so he's more relatable, and is very open to sharing his opinions. He would not hesitate to help if asked and is interested in teaching. lectures are straight forward, cover all material that are on exams thoroughly... would recommend for anyone who works at a normal pace.
Prof. Litt is a newer professor at UofA, but he seems to be a great teacher! All As on his exams with minimal reading and each exam was pretty simple. If you pay attention in class, you will be fine. Warning, he does give out random attendance quizzes but he lets you use notes on them so you should be good! Definitely recommended!
He is a really good professor.
Very straight forward and helpful with anything you need. Very good Professor, would take his class again.
Simple class. Makes every concept simple enough for everyone to understand. Also a fun professor to have in class, and will help anyone who is struggling. Would recommend taking any of his courses.
This professor is very relevant and is wonderful about answering students questions and clarifying concepts until they are understood. He gives lots of examples which really helps.
Wade is a great teacher. I rate a 2 out of ten not because the class is too easy, but because he teaches the material that well. If you show up and listen you'all get an A.
Professor Litt is super nice. He's relatable. He gets a little sidetracked at times but is otherwise great. Had a great time in class. Plus he's easy on the eyes.
I loved the economics jokes
What a great professor to have, makes the course 10x more enjoyable. He's younger and still in school so he totally relates to what our daily lives are like. The book is not mandatory although i have found it helpful .. Attendance also isn't mandatory but he'll rarely give out quizzes, open note, that count as your attendance for the day.
He is a great professor who is fun to listen to. If you show up and pay attention you will pass.
He is a good lecturer, takes his time to explain till you understand. I'll recommend him to anyone
Great teacher, do have to put in some effort for an A. Grades well, clear and understandable, not boring in lecture. Would totally take this teacher again!
He's awesome, you can ask to see him anytime in his office during the day/week even outside his normal office hours, always ready to help you understand
Professor Litt is awesome. He explains the course content very thoroughly and generally reviews the previous lecture to start class to catch everybody up. He usually has a story/personal example to associate with what he's teaching too. You don't need the textbook but you do need the access code for Aplia to do the homework.
I thought that I was going to dread going to my microeconomics class but Professor Litt made the class informational without being too stressful. I would definitely recommend his class. You do not particularly need the book however, show up to the classes and you'll be set!
Go to class, do the online homework assignments, and you'll enjoy the semester in Wade's class!
10/10 would recommend Prof Litt. Not a hard grader and seems to genuinely care about his students and making lectures as fun as possible. He is an awkwardly-funny professor which makes waking up for MWF lecture a little easier. Coursework is not extreme and he makes the tests very passable if you put in the right amount of effort on homework.
He's a great teacher! You will have homework due almost every Sunday but it is pretty easy! Make sure you study for the test and you will pass!
Prof. Litt clearly explains the major concepts of microeconomics with lectures & guided notes. His class is very conceptual. You need to understand how to apply the topics to real-world situations. If you attend class & do the weekly homework, you'll be just fine. Prof. Litt does a great job of giving understandable examples & answering questions.
Professor was excellent and well organized.
Overall nice guy, easy class. His lectures are pretty easy to understand and he makes notes for you so you don't have to take them.
Awesome professor! He really cares about his students and the lectures are fun too! The tests are easy if you review his study guide and the notes.
He is my favorite Professor I have had at UA. The homework and tests are based off of the notes in class, so getting an A is not impossible. He is very funny and provides great lectures. I recommend him to anyone who needs to take Micro Econ.
Wade Litt is my favorite professor and you should defiently take his class. If you study for the tests and do the homework you should get an a. Lowest test grade dropped. TAKE HIS CLASS.
Professor Litt its an all around good person. He is very interactive with his students, and cares for their over all well being. He passes out note lectures which is very nice, so you dont have to be unorganized writing down notes in a note book. Also very accessible out of class, and responds to emails on time. Great, go to class and you will pass
I had to take Micro Economics twice because I had a horrible professor the first time around but with Prof. Litt as my professor this time he made it seem easy. He's very understanding and lenient on grades. If I missed an assignment all I had to do was talk to him about it and he let me make it up. Best professor to have for this course!
Wade Litt is a new and young professor. He has a kind and caring temperament that helps make learning easy. He always provided a study guide for tests, and went over it before the test. Generally speaking, there were no detectable downsides to Professor Litt. If you have an opportunity to take a class from him, do it. He makes the class painfree.
Wade was great, his lectures were informative, so it's best to attend class. The Aplia homework was not my favorite thing, it did not help me with the tests.
Very helpful and he makes the subject easy to understand. I would 100% recommend him to a friend.
He is a very good professor. I wish all of my professors were like him. He lecture everyday and help you understand the material. His exams are pretty easy if you study. It doesn't try to trick you. He will make your life alot easier than most professor. I would highly recommend this professor.
best ever
Litt was a great professor, and really funny! He makes microeconomics seem pretty easy and takes time to go through each topic. I would definitely take another class with him. I really never used the book because his lectures were detailed enough that I didn't need it.
He appreciates students who make the effort to come see him if they miss notes or have questions. He's a really nice guy. For tests you just have to study.
Wade Litt was an amazing professor. I enjoyed his class so much. The class is set up for notes everyday but they are easy and he prints the packet of notes for you each week. The actual tests were not very hard at all. I would highly recommend this teacher. He is so funny and really knows how to make learning fun. I had him for Microeconomics.
All around Wade was a really good teacher. He took his time to explain the concepts in the notes thoroughly, made sure that he was easily accessible when you needed him and created a comfortable and fun atmosphere to learn. I would definitely take his class again! Great teacher!
He passes out notes, where you only have to fill out a small percentage of the notes that he presents on the board. He fills in the blank parts on his projected computer screen by using a pen and drawing program.
I was a little worried at first since Prof. Litt is new to teaching, but let me tell you that I was blown away. He cares for his students (He spent 30+ minutes learning each student's names and still remembers most of them!), gives detailed notes/lectures, and knowns his stuff for sure! I would totally recommend this teacher!
professor Litt is simply amazing
professor Litt is simply amazing and i would recommend him he is the best
Awesome professor. Easy to talk and very understanding. He explains lectures and concepts clearly in simple ways. Only if all college professors were like him college wouldn't be such pain in the ... You know how that goes
Professor Litt is a great professor. He's young and new to teaching, which I believe allows him to relate to us students on a more personal basis. Despite him being young, he knows what he's talking about. Very easy A as long as you show up and pay attention to the material in class.
Professor Litt was a real treat to have for Micro. He made the subject matter super easy to understand, was always looking to help, and truly cared for his students. He's such a nice guy and always said hi to me or talked to me when he saw me on campus, even though I didn't always have the best attendance. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Professor Litt is very enthusiastic about economics. He is an awesome teacher who explains things clear and wants students to succeed!
Professor Litt is one of the best professors I have ever had. He made learning about economics easy and fun. He even learned everyone's names! His lectures were never boring and they were really easy to follow. I would gladly take another one of his classes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Professor Litt is a great professor. He's really passionate about what he's teaching and cares about how the students are doing in his class. He's actually the reason I switched my major to economics, because he made it very interesting and applicable to everyday life. Show up for the lectures and pay attention and you'll be fine.
Wade is a G
Cool teacher. Very clear of what he expects and always welcomes questions and is willing to help.
Professor Litt was probably one of the best professors I've had in college. He is so down to earth and really cares about teaching his students and getting to know them personally. He knows exactly what he is talking about and explains it in a way students can understand. Perfect amount of work in the class and he is very fair and understanding!
Awesome teacher, would definatly recommend!
Professor List is one of the best i have had at Akron. He makes Micro easy and relates everything to real world situations. His homework is easy and if you show up to class his quizzes are practically free points. Mr. Litt is one of the nicest and down to earth guys i've met. I would recommend him to anyone taking econ or not.
I could not point out any other improvements specifically because I think as a new professor, he is doing well at what he's doing and he is super nice for a new professor and he is cute as well :))) lol
He gives nice lectures and helps every student understand the material he is on and he respects diversity in his class which In think makes him more cute and stuff.
I always had terrible econ teachers and taking mr litt's class he made it so more enjoyable to learn and made the class fun. Great teacher 10/10 recommend.
Best professor I have ever taken for any class. Exams aren't hard, show up to class to take the "quizzes" for points and attendance credit. Material is easy to understand. Easy A.
Hands down best professor I have ever had. Professor Lit is a phenomenal professor. His class requires enough work to make you properly learn the material but I never once felt overwhelmed. I hated economics but professor Litt made it interesting. He is so passionate about it making his lectures easy to listen to.
Professor Litt was an amazing teacher, he even went to lengths to remember everyone's name to first day of the semester. If you're looking for an easier-moderate class with a teacher who isn't afraid to try and make you laugh every day, then I recommend taking this class.
He makes sure you're well prepared for Exams. Explains material very thoroughly.
Wade Litt is by far my favorite professor so far! His class is actually enjoyable to go to. Got up to 10% extra credit on the second exam just for being in class. 4 Exams including the final, and drops the lowest one. 10/10 recommend.
Professor Litt is among the best teachers I have ever had. He is very knowledgeable about Microeconomics and is always willing to provide his students with extra help, even if it's outside of class. I like the fact that he prints out the lecture notes for his class, which makes it very easy to follow along. Would definitely recommend.
Best professor I've ever had
I had Prof Litt for Intro to Micro. It was pretty easy - I am currently in Calc 2, and while there is some math involved with Econ, it is nothing compared to what I'm used to. Prof is happy to answer questions. To get an A: show up to class, do the weekly homework assignments (which take me about 30 mins) and do the study guides for exams.
He is one of the best teacher I have right now. I recommend everyone to take his class.
He is my favorite professor. The exams are based on the lectures, but they are not too hard. As long as you come to class, which you will want to because they are very interesting, you should pass easily. He explains the concepts very well and if you have any questions, he is more than happy to go over them during office hours. Hes super funny too
As long as you show up to class and listen you should be able to get an A, tests are mostly questions from concepts he goes over so you will not have a random question out of the book that makes no sense. overall awesome teacher, easily top 5 ever! would strongly recommend.
Great professor, I would love to have him for a professor in a future class. He relates to his students and does a good job of teaching the material while keeping the classes attention.
Very laid back but is on top of lectures and assignments.
Wade was a great teacher who always made himself accessible outside class. He rarely takes attendance, and sometimes when he does he'll make attendance your quiz grade which makes it easy to get extra points. If you get lost in class you can always look at the book, and he publishes outlines for the chapters as well. Never gave a ton of HW either.
Funny, understanding, and relatable. Makes the material very easy to understand. Attendance isn't mandatory, but can fall behind and gives random worksheets that go to your quiz score. As long as you pay attention in class and apply yourself this class should be an easy A
His tests aren't hard if you've attended lectures and kept up in the notes that he makes available online. He makes himself available before exams for those that need to ask questions too. Overall not a difficult course for me but I'm convinced you could get lost if you don't attend.
Hes a great teacher. Hes young and understanding and can relate to the students. this is the 2nd course ive taken him and i plan to take him for Macro as well if he teaches it
He is a great professor. He does give pop quizzes but grades them very easily as long as you show up. Not a stressful class and he gives you every chance to succeed. I really enjoyed taking his class.
The material was dry, but Litt made the class lit.
He is an excellent professor, you should print the notes he provides for you, if you dont show up to lecture you will probably not pass the course, clear cut grading policy, you put in the work, you get the grade you desire
He's an amazing Microeconomics professor. I'm a biochemistry major and I thought this class would be hard since I don't have any business background but he made the class enjoyable and easy to understand. If you go to lecture and do homework you'll definitely pass. He's also very polite, friendly, approachable and funny.
Tests are really hard. Lectures are boring.
Some of the most boring lectures I've even taken in college. You have to fight to stay awake during this class. Economics is already boring and he doesn't help to alleviate the crippling boredom. You have to print off all our notes, it's just terrible.
Professor Wade Litt is a well rounded teacher. He has note sheets available for all lectures. While he doesn't have mandatory attendance, he does give in class quizzes! Extra credit is available. Very good at involving the class in discussion. Also took the time to learn all our names!
Really great teacher! The material can get confusing but he does a good job clarifying and giving examples. You need to study for the tests; however, he does try to get you the best grade possible. Pay attention & go to class. He gives pop quizzes here and there but they aren't bad. Homework is online, due every Sunday. If you can, take his class!
Due to the fact that he is a younger guy, he relates really well with his students and your grades reflect that. Incredibly understanding and does everything he can to make sure you pass the class. I highly recommend him for any Econ class!
Professor Litt is extremely flexible with grading, always making sure to help students understand the Idea's and theories as opposed to having them memorize answers for a test. If you pay attention strongly during the lectures, you shouldn't have to study too hard, he is extremely fair with grading and also has a lot of extra credit opportunities!
Teaches on PowerPoints, quizzes are based on attendance, nice dude with entertaining classes
Prof Litt goes above and beyond in his lectures. He really does care that everyone is learning. His notes are very helpful and can be filled out in class or from the textbook, one of the best professors at Akron for sure!
Wade Litt is one of my favorite professors and a lot of his past students say the same thing! He's a young guy, fairly new to teaching, so he cares about his students and really likes economics. Plus he is super nice and throws in fun class activities. As long as you do the study guides, the tests will be easy! Definitely the micro teacher you want
Definitely take Mr. Litt. He is personable and enjoys talking with students and hearing what they have to say.
Used great examples and activities to help convey learning objectives clearly.
Litt is 100% the best Micro teacher at UA. His note packets make the material a lot easier to digest and and easy to follow. He does give pop quizzes but they are really easy and you can literally just ask him for the answers. He is also like 24 so he's easy to talk to and relatable. He gives out nice exam reviews with solutions. TAKE HIM.
He doesn't make it too hard but he wants to make sure you get the material. Pop quizzes are there but they're basically just for attendance and you can fix your answers before turning them in. Not too much homework, some particularly fun exercises during the semester, and a young and often funny teacher makes his class the best one of the semester.
Mr. Litt is one of the best professors at Akron. He really cares about his student's success. Very easy to talk to. The content in class is not too easy and not too hard, it has the right amount of difficulty. Overall, great professor!
Professor Litt is LIT! He is a great professor and just a genuinely good guy overall. Micro isn't the most interesting subject to learn but he made it fun with different games and simulations for different topics we talked about in class. If you show up to class, exams will be really simple and straight forward. Happy I took his micro class!
Awesome professor! 10/10 would recommend.
I found this class to be quick and easy. Mr. Litt always takes the time to explain every concept thoroughly. It's tempting to skip or not pay attention (lectures can feel long), but he did a good job at keeping it interesting and enjoyable.
