He is a really funny teacher he keeps you interested the whole time. He also uses a curve for his test even though they are easy if you just listen in class. Before a test he tells you everything you need to know. He is a great teacher you won?t regret it!

I took Dr Lueck for Psych 101 on Fridays. He would come in and play aliitle music for us to wake up. He made class interesting and fun. Very helpful, study quiz to help with test. Used his own personal experiences with topics. Wished he was teaching 214. I would take him again.

I never got the book for this class. I went to the library and checked it out twice all semester. My lowest grade on his tests was a 78%. If you show up to class and the test review, you will do fine. I never even studied my notes, because he teaches so well. Not to mention, he's seriously hilarious, and definitely nice to look at!

I took his online class PSY 215 In a 8 weeks course, there is alot of work to be done online but I highly recommend him he answered all of my emails quickly. I ended up getting an A only because I did a little bit each day and not putting it off til the last minute!

10 questions incorrectly wrong on quizzes throughout the class. I didn't like that my grade would only be fixed if it would change my final letter grade. i would like my correct grade on quizzes reflected. super easy class for me, alot of work. i learned ALOT. teacher wasn't any help when i had questions on clarifying answers. Very clear about what you need to do. To get an A, you just have to keep up with the quizzes and assignments. It is about the same amount of work as other online classes. A lot of material, but VERY interesting! Professor is helpful and responds to emails quickly (he sends funny/encouraging messages). I would take the class again for sure!

Best professor by far for psychology! I loved this class he would teach you things with funny stories and you wouldn't even realize that he had taught so much until the exams, when you could remember everything. He was always wanting everyone to get good grades, fair and super nice teacher, but very intelligent as well. Try to get him!

This course certainly has a lot of reading... the syllabus, instructions, textbook, etc. is more than typical. It also has alot of quizzes, but also alot of extra credit opportunity. I took the 8-week course and got an A. You need motivation. The due dates were 2 weeks apart so it made it a little hard to manage when to do the work.

I'm an older student returning to school, so I'm pretty particular about choosing professors. I love, love, LOVE how Dr. Lueck teaches and interacts with students in a productive manner. I took this professor for an 8-week PSY101 online in spring and then again for a 5-week PSY240 online in summer. I got an A in both classes. It is a lot of reading but that's typical of an online class. Just do your work and you'll do great.

Very clear on how to get an A. If you attend the lectures and do the reading it's not hard. His lectures are very interesting. He uses current examples and how Psychology is everywhere. He is very, very funny which makes you want to go to class. A must take professor.

Professor Lueck is generally a pretty good teacher. He gets the point across, uses easy to understand examples etc. Although, his sense of humor is very very crude. Hes very popular among younger students due to his humor. I wouldnt take his class if youre easily offended.

I think every degree or certificate should have a psychology class required. Dr. Lueck made the class understandable. If you already knew some things he showed you that it may not be exactly as you thought it would be. There was a lot of reading but if you followed through with that and any assignments, your quizzes and test were easy to pass.

Like everyone has said, he is VERY, VERY FUNNY. You learn the basics of Psychology in an enjoyable format. He's so interesting that class goes by really fast. I walked out of each class inspired to be a better person more aware of myself and others around me. He is the most attractive professor I have seen and looks kind of like Ryan Gosling.

Do not be intimidated by his syllabus quiz at the beginning, he is not as scary as it makes him seem. I liked him so much I am taking him again. I did 8 week online and easy A. Lots of work, lots of extra credit. Easy grader.

I thought he was an easy grader. I thought the class was very informative and fun. There were plenty of chances for extra credit and most of it was the launch pad activities which don't take long to complete. The syllabus looks very complex, long and intimidating in the beginning, but its not near that hard.

If you have a chance take Dr. Lueck's class! All of his lectures are hilarious and very informative and he really knows how to connect with his students. His class is a breeze and he offers extra credit as well. He's also easy on the eyes so paying attention in class is not an issue:) Sign up quick his classes fill up early!

You will get an A in Dr. Lueck's online PSY101 class if you just follow directions. The due dates are listed in the course calendar on D2L and the instructions are very clear. I would highly recommend this class if you can stay on top of your assignments.

Took an online PSY 101 class from him. It's a 4 credit class and a fair amount of work, but easy stuff to understand. He grades very fairly and isn't trying to fail you. This is a good class to take online. I would take him again for any other psychology classes.

Took my first online course ever, Wade's PSY240, and was very impressed with the flow of the course and how much I was able to learn. I never thought I would be as successful as I am in a classroom, online, but Wade was very clear and responsive during the full 8 weeks of the course and I never felt overwhelmed. Yay KUDOS! Advice? Pace yourself :)

I didn't get to finish this class as I am a distance student and it took forever for Pima to release my funds so I realized I wouldn't be able to afford the material after my free trial ended. What I took of the class was amazing, I loved it although I had trouble understanding what topics the discussions and papers were about.

He's a great professor and a nice person overall. He's hillarious and his lectures are enjoyable! He definitely gets his point throught but his lectures are only summaries of each chapter, which you have to study on your own at home.

At first I was beyond overwhelmed when seeing the amount of assignments due on a monthly basis, I wanted to drop it. Thankful I didn't they are small type assignments just broken down into alot. Sitting in this class is basically like a stand-up comedy show! This guy is hilarious and makes the content interesting and engaging. Tests and quizzes are all on quizlet, however, it's best to take this class if you actually want to learn the content.

Although this was an online class when I had questions Wade gave me his personal phone number and gave me a call to answer all of my questions. His grading is fair and the class is at a great speed! Definitely take him for ANY class- I'm taking him again!

Wade Lueck is one of my favorite teachers at PCC. He makes the class fun and enjoyable. He is very passionate about Psychology and loves telling stories that relate to the subject. I wish he taught other classes besides 101. You will definitely not regret taking his class. There are only 3 tests and the 3rd one counts as your final.

Over all I really enjoyed this class, the teacher answered anything I sent his way and everything was very clear and spelled out in the syllabus. The course used D2L and a launchpad code which had a digital copy of the textbook you could buy a code for so you didn't need to buy a hard copy book unless you wanted to.

Dr. Lueck is very organized. Everything goes exactly the way he suggests, with NO surprises. If you attend every class and do what he asks, you'll get a good grade. It was the most interesting class I've taken in college. He has applicable stories that really help you learn the material. A must take.

I took Lueck for PSY 240 online and I am so glad I did! There were a handful of assignments but they were extremely easy to complete. He was a very fair grader and made sure all expectations were clearly laid out for you in the syllabus.

This course has a lot of work attached to it, however, dr. Lueck is a fair grader and gives extra credit. As long as you include everything listed in the assignment and discussion post requirements you will get an A. He keeps up on grading which is nice. Everything is available in d2l the whole semester.

I took Dr. Luecks Hybrid PSY 101. You only meet once per week for lecture and take all tests, quizzes, assignments online. It was a great class. He's the most skilled professor at PCC. Because of how great he was in person, I took Human Sexuality with him online. I'd prefer to take it live, but he makes the class simple & grades quickly & fair

He's definitely one of the best professors at PCC. I saved a ton of money instead of taking this class at UA and had a much better experience.

Literally BEST PROFESSOR EVER! I drive from the Southside of town to North campus and would do it again a million times. His lectures don't feel like lectures, He is HILARIOUS. I decided to take Dr. Lueck's 8 week online psych course due to his phenomenal ratings. I have zero regrets! His syllabus is direct and "lays it all out" in terms of what is expected. He grades fairly on papers and discussion posts. He also is prompt in his grading. Given the opportunity, I would take a course with him again. HIGHLY recommend!

Lueck made every class period fun. Do your assignments and quizzes/exams and youll pass. Quizzes and exams are taken at home online. Exams are long but easy, you can find all answers in the text book. Dont buy the book just ask him for the online version for free. 10/10 recommended!!

Dr. Lueck has his online class set-up phenomenally. Every other week you had to do the module readings, discussion, 1 assignment, and 3 quizzes (10 questions each). Good grader and wonderful professor. Do yourself a GPA boost and take his class. If you are a full-time employee, like me, his class was built for you. It was easy to manage with work.

I took this fully online (self-paced). Lueck was always available to answer questions. The system was very straight forward: read the online material, take a quiz, write a little paper. If you don't mind doing some homework, this is the class for you.

This course is straightforward as long as you read the chapter lessons the quizzes are easy to do and you have multiple chances to retry. Instead of a midterm and Final exam we had essays that had clear grading criteria. If you do all the work and follow the grading rubric you'll do great.

This was an online class and he was even willing to set up a phone call to help me with something. I am sad I never got to meet him, this was the most pleasant online class I have ever taken. You can tell he truly cares about his students. Very clear instructions, helpful and just awesome!

Super relaxing class easy if you simply do the work! His lectures were really fun but easily gets sidetracks but none the less entertaining. When he does however get down and serious with the lecture it's interesting to listen too.

Professor Lueck is very straightforward with your assignments, make sure you follow the rubric and turn your assignments in on time. He has great topics throughout the course. I really enjoyed his class. If you're online, make sure you log in everyday for attendance or the administrator will send an email saying you were not in class.

He would always make class fun; sharing stories and interacting with the class. There are only 4 papers, 4 discussions and multiple quizzes for the 8-week class, but the topics are so interesting it was fun to write and learn about. I would definitely take his class again.

I took the summer 5 week condensed course and while I ended up reading nearly 720 pages from the textbook Our Sexuality (required) - it was so informative and fun! Professor Lueck was so kind, made discussions actually fun/creative and he was a quick responder to emails. If he offered more courses, I'd take them all. He was amazing!

If you have to take a psy101 course and want to take it over the summer, take this one. One assignment a week instead of smashing 16 assignments into 3-5 weeks. Interesting course and good/relevant reading assignments.

Dr. Lueck is charismatic and interesting, and his experience in the field is outstanding. For an 8-week course, this one was pretty straightforward and I might dare say the easiest general education course I've taken. The quizzes are online and easy. There is no final exam or anything like that. There are few discussions and written assignments.

Professor Lueck makes this class really enjoyable. His lectures are hilarious and engaging, though it's important to review the material beforehand. unstuck study was a great study tool to prepare for quizzes. Overall, an easy A if you stay on top of the work.

Good class to take, not too many assignments in the 8 weeks course

I took Wade's 8-week online class during Summer 2024, and it was easy. He was helpful whenever I needed to email him. All of his online assignments and online quizzes were easy to complete. As long as you do all of the work in his class, you will pass with a high grade.

Soooo many readings, but assignments are easy, and class was fun.

I loved Dr. Lueck's class! I took the hybrid 8-week course with one weekly in-person lecture that was engaging and fun. The workload was very manageable with short quizzes, short essays, and discussion posts due on Sundays. The textbook is free, grading is quick, and he's very accessible and friendly, I would highly recommend to anyone!
