AMAZING TEACHER TAKE HIM

I highly recommend Prof. Singletary, and plan to take another class with him. He is extremely knowledgeable about his subjects, and provides an environment that is fun, yet makes you want to continue learn even after his class has ended. He promotes great discussions in class, and cares about his students. More professors should follow his example

i took him for mythology at Polk State, he was indeed a wonderful teacher and i enjoyed his class a lot. easy A+

if you cant take a joke then dont take this class, especially the religion class. He makes fun of all religions including his own.

I love this class. I have a blast. Jokes all the time that make the class super fun. It is one of the easiest class that I have ever taken. I plan to take on of his other classes.

Awesome teacher. Though he jokes about not being a good teacher, he really is a knowledgeable teacher with great background information for the subjects he teaches, you can tell he doesn't just teach from the book, but from what he knows.

GREAT PROFESSOR! Easy going, very funny, laid back guy who wants you yo know all of the intresting parts of humanities! Highy reccomended for any of his classes! Really no need to buy book for humanities though, so dont waste your money on it! All he wants you to know is in his head!

Although his class doesn't involve much work and he'll joke about not teaching his students, if you're there to learn, you will learn. He may make jokes the whole class however there is learning between them and they helped keep my interest.

Before taking this class, i had no knowledge on civilization and mans history from the early ages through the bronze,etc. i learned so much. informative class, the materials presented and how it was presented. i learned about isaac newton and history of math. i learned about our journey through time. i reccomend his class. Without a doubt the best instructor I have ever had. You learn without knowning you are learning. I took intro to humanities this semester because it was part of my curriculum, and am taking mythology this summer with him because I enjoyed his teaching so much. !! Highly recommend taking him if you have the chance.

I throughly enjoyed this class. I never thought HUM 2020 would be my favorite class. I learned so much. His study guides are awesome. Professor Singletary enjoys teaching and it shows. I would definitely take him for another course. Some people wrote that his tests were easy, well that's because you don't even realize your learning. A++ teacher

This guy is by far the best professor that I've ever had. He is super funny and easy to understand and get along with. Its an easy A, you don't have to pay attention much. He pretty much gives you the answers before the test. He always says "I'm a simple man, I don't need complex answers"

He rulesss(: so easy to get a long with & superrr funny. He'll keep your attention on some days and yet you can fall asleep the next! & we actually learn things in between all the joking lol!

Singletary is hands down the most humorous professor I've ever had. Though his class is just slideshows and jokes, he is very knowledgeable about the subjects he deals. Through all the jokes you'll realize that you're learning more than you think.

Singletary is a really nice guy and his ethics class is easy. He gives great test reviews. You have two papers to write and must write ten chapter analyses of the text chapters. He is a very humorous man; if you are easily offended it may take you a little time to warm up to him. He is fair and understanding.

Makes hilarious jokes and doesn't take himself too seriously, all around great professor, from the beginning he will say "You do not need to take notes in my class". He gives a study guide that is the test for midterm & final (only tests to take).

i TOOK TWO CLASSES WITH HIM AND THE CLASSROOMS WERE COMPLETE FULL. HE IS REALLY THE BEST TEACHER IN FLORIDA. I WISH PSC HAVE A BACHELOR IN HUMANITIES, I WILL BE THE FIRST ONE TO BE ENROLL.

He is an awesome professor. I did not study, and knew the material. He makes learning easy and fun. Pay attention in class, and write a couple of writing assignments that you are given plenty of time to do, and you will have an A. I highly reccomend him for a fun semester and for a boost to your GPA. I will definitely take more of his courses.

Very easy A, with little to no effort. You don't even have to pick up a pencil in class. However he is very rude towards other religions and makes cruel jokes towards them. Also ignorant of other religions and puts you down if you try to correct or stand up for your belief. His "humor" is more of mocking, and he showed dirty-ish videos in class.

Really easy, only two test midterm anf final

I absolutely loved this professor! I took his class at Hillsborough Community College and I learned more than I could imagine, he definitely knows a lot of information and is very qualified for what he teaches! By far my favorite class this semester and would take another class with him just for the experience!

Great teacher, tells jokes to start them off. Uses power points to teach the lesson. Only used textbooks for chapter analyzation, with is basically a summary of the chapter, no textbook used in class.

Easy class. Professor is really nice. Do your assignments and you'll get an A.

I learned alot in his class. I know i will remember 90% of it because he kept it interesting. Wrote 3 papers, had 2 tests, and you can watch 4 movies and write an easy on each for extra credit

Great teacher. Really makes the class enjoyable. I can honestly say this is one of the few classes that I really enjoyed and will actually remember what I learned a year after. He does like to tell jokes some may seem crude but it's just his personality he doesn't mean to offend anyone and even says so. It's just a way to loosen up the class.

He is a really easing going professor BUT he can be very crude. You will EASILY get an A in his class, no matter what topic or class. but be aware that he does have a filthy mouth and no filter.

Does incorporate some sarcasm, dry humor, and at times quite relaxed with his jokes and one-liners. I have recommended him to many and still highly recommend him. He makes everything very simple. Only reason you get less than a B in his class would likely be your own fault. He didn't even check attendance.

I 100% recommend taking Singletary for any class. He is hilarious with a dry sense of humor that is impossible not to laugh at. Without you even knowing, tons of knowledge on Humanities magically appears. Yes it is an easy class, but you still learn a lot.

I really enjoyed professor Singletary's class. His lectures were easy to follow and most of the things I learned about Humanities were interesting. He has a good sense of humor and likes to make jokes often. As long as you do what he requires you to do, which is not much, you will pass the class with an A.

Best Professor hands down

I learned so much from this man, and he makes my day every day. I have taken him for 3 classes and wish I could do more!

The coolest Prof. EVER. He's honest and super easy. He makes it clear when you have a test and that's like once throughout the whole semester.

He thinks he's smarter than The Webster dictionary and isn't afraid to tell you ALL he knows. Including the 235 books he owns in his foyer, the books he's written, the women he's dated and all 75.4 colleges he's attended.

Will take his class anytime! He uses "stealth learning". He makes the class so funny and interesting that the material is easy to remember. Excellent professor. I learned a lot. I also took him for Humanities a year ago, and I still remember a LOT from that class. There are two papers and ten chapter summaries.

Professor Singletary is by far the easiest instructor you could get. Not real necessary to show up except the first few weeks. He tells you the answers right before the test and it's almost impossible to fail. Gives easy extra credit so if you don't do an assignment you're still safe.

Probably the easiest class I've ever taken. He's also hilarious. Easy A. You honestly don't need to show up after the first few weeks of class. Come the day before the test and he gives you the answers. His lectures are fun and interesting though. They usually never last the full time. Take this class.

Easy class if you do you're work. Don't do it fail. Funny, interesting and actually kind of inspirational when giving his lectures. Need book to do chapter summaries (have it in the school library) no need to buy it ;) Great teacher would definitely take again:)

His opening story about himself, alone, is the reason why I decided to stay in this class. You have to grab my attention on the first day, and that is exactly what he did. His lectures are hilarious and interesting. Quite a bit work but super easy to do. Easy but only because he teaches so well and makes learning actually fun. Def one of the best!!

Only five grades in total, 3 papers, and a midterm and final. Although the questions are common sense you wouldn't expect it to be that because in truth he taught the classroom even if the students were not aware. Strongly recommend, also always be ready for some jokes, pretty neat classroom. Almost forgot 10 papers on chapter analysis for grade.

Professor Singletary was my favorite professor at Polk. I took every single class he offered! It was easy to get an A. Most of the time you don't even have to attend lecture, besides test days, but he made every subject interesting. He cares about his students and flat out says that there should be no reason to not get an A. Best prof ever

If you are looking for an easy A then this class is for you, there is hardly any work and you only have two tests during the entire semester. (which he gives you the answers to before hand) He cracks a lot of jokes. Just basically show up to class and you'll be okay.

Don't take his class if you get offended easily but he's overall a good teacher. There are 3 writing assignments and some extra credit, just do your work. Showing up is not that important because we mainly go over slideshows and watch documentaries and then he lets out early but still try to show up

Definitely not for the politically correct crowd. However, he still can be funny. He lectures a lot but nothing too boring. His tests (midterm and final) come from his lectures, and he has study guides. Only time you'll need to use the textbook is for your chapter summaries. Probably would take again.

Professor Singletary was a really nice guy. I took him fall of'15 and his class was amazing. He has 3 essays due, one about you, a final and the other for a 'what you learned in class'. He gives power points everyday and you could right your essays on that. Also he is extremely wise and very insightful. Give him a chance and you won't regret it.

You will hear the same jokes over and over, but other than that he is great

He is the best professor at this school and isn't blind sighted by the book. He is down to earth and knows how to get students interested in a subject! Thank Goodness for a professor like this. God bless Professor Wade Singletary. He is the ABSOLUTE best teacher I have ever had in my entire life. He has a sick sense of humor so we hit it off immediately. Prof Singletary is a real genius. He has multiple 6-year degrees in the field of history and humanities so he absolutely knows his stuff. Every class is a lecture off of powerpoints

Hes a great professor, super easy, most of the work is due at the end of term, not even a ton of work, gives lectures off of his homemade PowerPoints, show and tell, very educated, always telling jokes, and you should definitely show up to class.

Singletary is an excellent professor, if you have a tough skin, and are able to get over trivial comments. His class is fun and relatively easy, but do your work and it will go by much faster!

Very very very easy class. Easy A but he does have some jokes most people would be offended by I ignored them came to class got my A and left. Didnt enjoy the jokes at all.

Professor Singletary is super chill and funny. Although he isn't the best teacher other people would say I did learn a lot with his corny jokes etc. I 10/10 recommend him to anybody and prepare to be offended, he definitely isn't afraid to tell you what is on his mind.

Singletary is very knowledgeable on the subject he teaches and loves humanities. He has certain beliefs that he makes evident in class so if you disagree get ready for that. You are given a couple of assignments at the beginning that are due by the end of the course. The tests are easy and attendance is also a grade. Overall a great teacher.

Few professors impress me - but this professor is definitely on top of his game. Very easy going, and you can tell he really wants you to learn. Getting an A is easy, so as long as you pay attention and hand in every assignment asked for. Plus he gives extra credit assignments. Definitely recommend this guy!

If you go to class and turn in the assignments from the syllabus you will make an "A." Professor Wade is as cool as they come. Okay, he's a Jokester! I had fun cracking up with Professor Wade! Prof Singletary was the funniest, most inspirational professor I've had at PSC. I took him this summer for Honors World Religions and enjoyed every minute of his class. He's extremely knowledgeable about different world religions and how they can be compared/contrasted. His jokes are hilarious and he's a wonderful guy overall :)

I took this for Honors credit. We were required to read 7 chapters from the book and write analyses on them, write two papers, and do a presentation on a religion of choice. I had a lot of fun in this class, and it was extremely interesting! Professor Singletary has great resources. He is also hilarious, and will tell the class funny jokes.

Easy A

Prof. Singletary is a great person. He is funny and this class has made me think of things I have never really given thought to before. This is the first class I have taken that I find myself interested in learning more about outside of class. I learned a lot. He is a fair grader and easy to talk to. Overall, best Professor I have had.

Took Singletary for humanities and ethics and learned a lot in his class. He is a great professor and really knows what he is talking about. The work he gives is simple and the same throughout his courses. Expect nothing less than an A. I looked forward to his class as compared to some other classes at PSC. Definitely one of the best professors.

All you really have to do is show up for class. You have to write one paper, and you have to do a small assignment with the textbook (these assignments are due the last class). Overall its an easy class, and he makes jokes that are cheesy but he tries his best to make the class fun.

Laid-back, funny, compassionate, easy to understand. Gave us movies to watch for extra credit.
