Amazing professor. He gives you the questions in advance for tests (non-cumulative), and will reduce questions if he see's students are stressed by other classes. He is very thorough and loves his field. One paper, but he edits it for you so you can get an A. He was so encouraging and I will take another of his classes in the future for sure.

Lectures are seriously inspirational. It is clear that he puts a lot of time and care into them. He also really cares about the well being of his students and tries to elevate their stress throughout the semester. Encourages in class participation but posts all slides on Blackboard. Tests are non-cumulative, and gives practice questions.

Practically gives you the midterm in the form of the practice exam- the literal exact questions from the practice exam are on the midterms. Solid choice. 2 midterms, 1 finals, all non-cumulative. First mid you had to study for (use textbook), second mid do the review and you're gold. For final, I am expecting to study notes and textbook. Not difficult, try a little and you'll go far. Classes are optional but interesting. He cares, gives motivational speeches and extra credit assigns.

Wahab started the semester by giving us a chance to introduce ourselves to him for extra credit. He's incredibly personable and although he has long lectures, he always keeps them interesting. Wahab is one of the best Profs I've had so far. Not only are his lectures totally captivating (he made a class I had no interest in super interesting!), but his practice tests are nearly identical to the midterms. You get multiple opportunities to obtain bonus credit for very simple things like introducing yourself to him. Highly recommended!

His PSYC 104 class was the easiest class I've taken yet. His lectures are engaging, and he gives you your questions for your exams ahead of time. You won't use your textbook; the PowerPoint provides anything for exams (which were non-cumulative by the way). Accommodating; allows 2 opportunities for extra credit without the semester.

Wahab is an excellent teacher when in class. His grades are very inflated as he outlines everything on exams with 'practice exams' that end up being the exact same beforehand. If you need a GPA boost take his class- you barely even have to show up to do well.

If you wish to take PSYC 104, i would recommend you to go for Wahab. He is one of the most inspirational professors at MacEwan. His teaching style is phenomenal. There were so many amazing and unique things about this course! I especially loved the Podcasts that Wahab did. I have never taken a course quite like it! There is a lot of reading but by the end you feel like you have learned a ton so its worth it.

I have taken a couple classes with Wahab, but this course was by far the best! The course revolved around Psychedelics, Spirituality, and Meditation. There were two papers, daily articles to read, participation activities, meditation sessions, podcasts, and a final presentation. PSYC 405 was a inspirational course that truly taught me so much.

This is by far my favourite class this semester and it is all down to Wahab. His mini lectures are so engaging I could listen to him all day! This is a hybrid course, part online, so you have to read the text, and attend the lectures and the Learning Centre to do well.

Took 104 with Professor Hanif and it turned out to be one of the best courses I have taken so far. Textbook and all of the quizzes are online and there were a lot of glitches with the system but I guess that is not his fault. He also posts podcasts that are pretty awesome. He is really caring and actually wants you to do well.

This was an online course so you have to do much of the work on your own. That being said, I was really surprised by how Wahab ran this course. He posts his podcasts that are quite interesting and you feel like he is always there for you, answers emails very quickly, and sends very inspirational/encouraging emails that helped me personally.

Even though I felt that this course was quite difficult because of the hybrid structure (it is part online and only one class per week), Professor Hanif made it an amazing experience. I'm rating Wahab not the course! This is a hybrid course not taught by one prof, it is the same format, assignments, and lecture slides made by the psych dept. for all sections. Honestly I have never met a teacher like Professor Hanif. His lectures and encouraging emails have been a lifesaver for me whenever I was overwhelmed. But even more than that his inspiring podcasts and guided meditations have made me want to be psych major. He is just an amazing human!!!

Wahab is extremely helpful during lectures and office hours. The hybrid style class is manageable. Just give yourself a schedule and get the readings and quizzes done well in advance. I had Wahab for both Psych 104 and 105. He taught 104 so well I took 105 with him as an option! Great for an introductory class and has an obvious passion for the content, He is also very understanding towards his students and makes efforts to make sure they feel confident in the material.

I loved this class! There are quizzes every week that you write online, one mid-term and a final and research participation. I loved how Wahab didn't lecture at all but posted his podcast episodes that were super interesting . There was just the right amount of flexibility and structure in this course. Wahab has become my favourite prof :)

Very entertaining prof. He gives u lots of room to earn extra marks from him through group activities done during lectures. He also gives u a lot of hints as to what will be on the midterm and the final. I Will def take psyc 105 with him when I get the chance.

Wahab is just an angel. I am serious. He can't be human. He actually cares if you do well in his course. I took this course online during the pandemic and I loved every bit of it. He doesn't do traditional lectures. He shares his podcast episodes that are amazing!!! Also, I love his voice, it is so soothing :)

I can't thank Wahab enough, he helped me when I was at my lowest. I don't know what it is, but his voice stays with me whenever I am struggling. He is not like any other prof I have ever met. Wahab, thank you for everything you do. Don't ever change.

Wahab is the MAN!!!! Haha. It's unbelievable he is here at MacEwan!!! The conversations I had with him over email this semester changed the way I think about life.

Not a difficult class. The class mostly consisted of reading the textbook. He also does podcasts. The midterm and final weren't too difficult if you know the material. He also gives study guides for both.

This was my favourite class this semester! Prof Hanif is incredibly intelligent but he is so down to earth and always makes you feel like your opinion matters. His podcasts are simply spellbinding :)

Do readings and look through his review sheet before exams. Gave super encouraging emails throughout the semester. Just a solid guy, you can tell he really cares and is rooting for your success. He is always down for a good psyc conversation. Also, he sounds like a mediation instructor which is a plus.

I loved this class and its all because of Wahab. He is so passionate and his podcasts are amazing. He goes above and beyond and makes you think way beyond whats in the textbook.

Wahab is wonderful and caring. He does more in a few-minute podcast than most profs hope to inspire over an entire semester. It's hard to overstate how much fun it is to be in his class. Psyc 104/105 is not a difficult class - create some flashcards in Anki and you're good to go. But it's fun and engaging and Wahab makes it all the better.

Wahab is my favorite professor and I've had him for several courses at MacEwan. He makes everything super clear and easy and I recommend him to anyone looking to take psychology classes at MacEwan. He is extremely nice, and understanding when it comes to basically anything.

Wahab is simply amazing. He does not do regular lectures, but he does more in 5 mins podcasts than most professors can in an entire semester. This class opened my eyes to so many things in my life and Wahab was the biggest reason for it. I love reading his emails and he is even more charming on the phone :)

One of the best proffesors at MacEwan! He really gets engaged with you and really wants to make sure you pass. The class is extremely easy and a very good GPA boost! Highly reccomend!

Just take this class with Wahab. It doesnt matter whether you are a moron or a genius. He expects EVERYONE to get it, you know what I mean. Wahab, you changed the way I think of everything in my life. But I cant take your advise about not following your footsteps to see if it cant get that car to 220 km/hr. That podcast was badass.

I really enjoyed this class, a real gem out of all the online courses I have taken. Quizzes every week, two exams, research participation, all paced nicely so you don’t feel rushed or anxious. But the highlight was Wahab’s weekly podcasts. They were unique, engaging, and make you really think! He seems very passionate and kind :)

Is there an award for the most humble, most relatable, and yet most intelligent guy you have ever met? If so, Wahab should hands down win that award. I don't think he even knows how much he is affecting people with his spirit and presence. Wahab, if you ever see this, know that you are making a real difference in this world.

I took this class in the spring semester, which I have never done before, so I was nervous. But Wahab made this class my most memorable class I have taken. Everyone knows that he doesn't do traditional lectures. But I had no idea how much his podcasts would affect me...I actually cried listening to the last one. Take him if you can!

Ok, I know, I know...everyone says Wahab is amazing and all that. But I had no idea that taking an introductory course can be life changing. I know I am a little smitten with him and his soothing way of describing things but this course and Wahab's podcasts just activated something in me that I can't quite describe. I can't recommend him enough!

He is the best psych prof ever!! His podcasts are amazing and the lecture outline is fairly simple. Everything was to complete on your own time with a standard due date. Midterm and the final was also fair and easy. 10/10 recommend!!!

Great prof overall, midterm and final were both multiple choice only. If you follow the study guides you will be well prepared for both. Final mainly focused on last four chapters, with a few questions on the pervious ones. Podcasts were very interesting to listen to!

My favourite course this semester! A quiz each week for chapter readings, a midterm and a final. And there is also an easy written assignment on the podcasts Professor Hanif releases each week on the chapters, which are very interesting. 10/10 recommend!

I am a mature student and have been away from school for more than a decade. I was struggling this whole semester, but Wahab was like a light that rescued me and guided me. Thank you for all you do! But please, post more podcasts, I loved all of them and I can listen to you all day!

Great professor, was available whenever I had questions. Not sure why everyone thought his podcasts were life changing as I though they were just ok. This course in general is interesting so having a chill organized professor only makes the class better. Overall I would recommend.

One of my favourite profs! I loved how he explained things so clearly and simply. One midterm, one final, quizzes on chapters covered every week, and an assignment on his podcasts on psychology. He has an amazing voice and his podcast lectures are so different, hilarious, and make the course more interesting!

Hanif is great. The majority of work is done through textbook quizzes, but they are easy. He is accessible outside of class and posts podcast each week for the module. Taken online, this class is an easy A

I took Psyc 104 in summer class and love how he give the assignments for the short time. He also a easy grader; I will definitely take his class again.

I took 105 online with Wahab, and he was a super easygoing professor. Responded to emails promptly and was nice about doing so. My only complaint is needing to buy Revel to do this course, can't stand classes where you need to buy an online platform to complete the class. His lectures are just podcasts, so study the textbook, but tests are easy.

Textbook is required because the quizzes and modules are all there. Quizzes are easy as long as you read all the modules, and he gives clear instructions on what to do for assignments and projects. He also gives fair grades on all the assessments. Responds to email and weekly emails are also there to keep you updated.

Took both 104 and 105 online with Wahab and glad I did! Easy A if you read the textbook and listen to his podcasts. This was a different kind of setup and very easy to follow. The short podcasts were used instead of lectures that made concepts more relatable for me which was a nice touch. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed taking this course online over the summer with Wahab. The pacing is faster so you have to read a bit more but he organized the course in a clear and simple way. Quizzes every week, podcasts that were super interesting, and one midterm and final. This course was pretty fun and relatively easy but you have to put in the effort!

Wahab gave really good feedback over email when I wanted to clarify a concept! He literally wrote entire paragraphs with examples to explain concepts I asked him about over email. Amazing. The quizzes were super easy but the exams were tough so make sure you read! Podcasts were interesting and you had to write one short essay on one episode.

Wahab's PSYC105 is an engaging online course. His podcasts are a nice touch - they really help make the concepts relatable. Paired with the textbook, unstuck AI, and a bit of effort, it's an easy A.

His course outline is pretty easy going. Just have to submit assigned quizzes on time and just have to submit a written assignment on one of the podcasts he posts and that's pretty easy to do. Midterm and final is online quizzes. If you just follow through and do the readings, it's an A

assignments and quizzes are easy but the exams are quite different from the other assessments, which makes it difficult overall still nice. You do need to pay extra for revel

I loved this professor; it was all online, so I had zero issues; midterm and final were online; all you have to do that's in-person is the research stuff for psychology. The textbook is NEEDED in this class, but it's worth it. Moreover, his lectures were "podcasts" that were very interesting.

If you have to take this class, take it with Wahab! The course is well-organized, and the podcasts actually make the material interesting and fun. There are two exams, weekly quizzes, and a written assignment on the podcasts he posts. Super helpful over email and pretty easygoing prof. Made the class way less stressful.

Get ready to memorize but in all honesty the class isnt easy but the professor wahab makes it very fun with the podcasts, I did both pysch 104 and 105 and it wasnt easy but it was a good amount of material every week and it made sense. buy the textbook put in the work and youll do good. 10/10 professor

Best psych professor I've had so far! Exams were super easy if you read the textbook. He's an easy grader, very accommodating and quick to respond to emails.

He was amazing online the course was super easy there was a ton of online quizzes that were super easy as well. Midterm and final were worth a lot but they were super easy as well
