In person may be entirely different, but taking this class online is a death sentence. Nearly half your final grade is the Final Exam, so even if you do perfect up until then, good luck with answering 45 questions in 30 minutes that unnecessarily try to confuse you. Very ironic that an anthropology teacher could possess such little compassion.

Despite his lack of presence in the course because we were just given mp3 for lectures, he sounds very knowledgeable, humorous, and soft-spoken in his lectures. The course is easily one of the most interesting courses I've ever taken. A lot of reading but the lectures are fascinating. His recollections of his experience in St. Vincent are cool too.

Course was pretty lecture heavy. He does what he can to make it interesting. Lot of anecdotes and stories about his experiences in fieldwork. He manages to explain topics and concepts covered in an easy to digest manner. Be sure to take notes. One warning: you'll have to read the textbooks on your own, and they count for credit on his exams.

Professor Zane's ANTH2 class is engaging, with insightful anecdotes from his fieldwork. The lectures are informative, but you'll need to do the readings to ace the exams. unstuck AI was a lifesaver for test prep alongside traditional study methods.
