A typically excentric University Lit prof mixed with a smooth politician. Really cares about your learning, and he tries really hard. Go in with an open mind, and you'll be fine. Take his film classes if you can.

Great professor. Wants to help students, allows reqrites, usually 4 essay per semester (3 short, one id just a rewrite of the lowest graded paper) and the last paper is like 5-6 pages. Like interaction, and is always available to help. Love the man!

knows a lot aout the subject matter and is very descriptive.I didnt read at all & still got a B. He's a pretty nifty guy if you dont mind him tlaking about art,shakespare,chaucer,etc. I thought it was kinda funny

he deserves a category of his own. he is mad chill and super cool. but he is also a challenging and demanding professor. if your stomach can't take sarcasm and strange humor you best be running as far away from him as possible.

hes was alright although essays were graded pretty tough. as long as you read the books and write decent essays, you should be ok.

The guy knows what he's talking about and he knows how to hold student interest in the subject. Three papers, one re-write. No midterm. Read the books, participate in discussion. You'll have a better time in the class and so will everyone else. Don't take the class if Rosenfeld is teaching with him.

A typical class is goes like this:"People knew the story already. There were no surprises. However, Sophocles put more emphasis on the lack of reverence toward the gods. (pause) Does anyone else pee in the shower? (pause) No? (pause) Well, it's 11. See ya next time!"

Dr Raubicheck is my all time favorite. He's a great professor and very willing to help his students. If you ever need help he will always be willing!

Prof. Raubicheck is an amazing person and teacher. Willing to listen to everyone and consider what everyone is saying. Teaches in a real interactive way which is awesome.

He is one of the best professors I had last semester. He was clear with instructions and was always willing to help with writing. I enjoyed his lectures and the fact that he is open minded.

He's incredibly witty - a dose of sarcasm is much appreciated. He shed light on film & lit in a very compelling and interesting way. TAKE HIM AND YOU WONT REGRET IT! It's refreshing to learn something new whenever I attend his lectures.

He's very sweet and has a lot of knowledge about literature and film. He creates an academic atmosphere that is relaxing and welcomes discussions. If you're an english major, or if you're interested in taking a literature course, I highly recommend him.

I really don't know why there are such negative comments about this guy. I've taken him twice. I didn't see him play favorites, just liked people who were pleasant towards him and didn't just go to class to sit there for two hours. He is a fair grader, and knows so much about what he teaches its ridiculous. He's not my favorite, but he is excellent

Any one who has a single bad thing to say about this man is obviously off their rockers. This is by far the most helpful, caring, and amazing professor at Pace. If you want to actually learn in a classroom, then his is the one to be in. He knows absolutely everything about what he is teaching, by far one of the most effective profs I've ever taken.

W/E. He is a great professor. He takes the time to meet with each student individually and work on their needs. He always makes everything very clear and explains everything thoroughly. Doesn't mind being questioned or proven wrong either. Definately work taking his classes.

He's very nice and laid back. This class is super easy. Just make sure to do the readings because the essays are based all about them. Or go to class and take good notes when they talk about key points in the books.

Very interesting, fantastic lecturer. He never writes anything on the board. He is very knowledgeable and good in catch your attention. Although he's pretty hard on grading, but I learned more in his class than anywhere else. If you want easy A, don't take him.

Fantastic professor. If you were unclear about something he was always available after class to talk. He made sure every student had one on one time with him to discuss papers and how we could improve them. Very engaging and easy to talk to. I would definitely take him again!

Raubi rocks! He is the most knowledgeable and interesting English professor in NYC. If you don't take him, you're missing out. Highly recommend him if you're an interesting person. If you are unambitious and vacuous don't bother.

Awesome guy, great UNV advisor.

Walter is a boss. He has a clear point when grading papers. There is no reason anyone should do bad in the class or bad on the essays assigned. He gives you a chance to write the paper- discuss it with him and then write a final draft for an improved grade. He does not play favorites contrary to the few reviews that say so.

Take him for any class that you can. All you have to do is show up and do your work which is not much at all. Every essay you have, he gives you a week to do a rough draft, then he edits it for you and shows you what corrections you need to make THEN he gives you a whole other week to make corrections for a better grade. Best prof at pace by far.

Raubicheck is a great professor. He is very kind and helpful. I felt like I learned a lot from his class, and his essay assignments were pretty easy. Sometimes he gets off topic, but it can be a nice breakup between new discussions.

He's a great teacher! He cares about his students and is always there to help. If you do your work he will acknowledge that with a good grade. His little stories make the class fun and interesting. I loved it and would defiantly recommend him as a Professor.

When writing essays in his class, he returns them with detailed corrections, which make it easy to get a better grade. The discussions in this class are interesting and are helpful. Reading the bad ratings of this prof make no sense to me! I absolutely enjoyed his class. He is a super funny guy and loves to talk about very interesting things. Just take good notes and utilize the ability to make conferences with him. Ive learned a lot about my writing in his class! Will def be taking him for writing in the disciplines!

Professor Raubicheck's class can be challenging but rewarding. The workload is heavy, but he's a passionate teacher who makes the material engaging. I found unstuck ai really helpful for staying organized and acing the final paper.

Pretty easy class and he's such a sweet guy. He repeats himself often and a lot of people found him boring, but I enjoyed the class. No textbooks, we did read a lot of actual books without a lot of notice. He's a really interesting guy who likes participation!

Very nice and funny. He's genuinely interested in his students' lives and makes learning fun. There's a lot to read so get ready for that, but not much homework with writing. He's a very interesting person and professor who makes class enjoyable and engaging. Not too sure of how his grading works, though, as in papers/exams.
