Whatever you do, do not take this teacher. Tests are set up so that you will fail. 3/4 of the class dropped. The other 1/4 made C's or below.She answers all questions with a question.Very militant!

I took her in 98 She is absolutely the worst teacher I have ever had in my life she told me I should go to a trade school when I asked a question and told me I was unapproachable - what does a teacher do? If you see her name on your schedule and you want to pass, DROP the class and get a diff. professor! The tests are nothing like the material in the book or what is gone over in class! I went to tutoring and still couldn't get through it!

All I can say is I had her two days and dropped while I could. Get Mr. Akers or Mr. Long. Ms. Anderson is hard and yes it is important to be challeneged, but she is rediculous.

This lady is the last person you should ever want to learn anything from. Most of what I learned is that us college kids are immature and that she was going to throw me a curve ball on tests. This lady sucks.

This is the WORST math teacher EVER!! You will fail her class- I was failing after the first test and I had gotten all of the homework right. It's definately her- I took Math 101 with another professor the next semester and got an A. She is absolutely out of her mind and there might be four people that actually pass it.

Wanda Anderson is a horrible teacher. She knows a lot about math but she does not know how to teach other people. She has an awful attitude. She was completely worthless. 3 people out of my class of 22 passed. That should tell you something about her teaching skills. I took Math 101 after trying to take it with ms. anderson and I received a B.

She was absolutly horrible. She will give you the hardest problems no matter what. She made me feel stupid and she wasn't willing to help at all. I don't recommend her for anyone to take. Take my advice and stay away from her!

Mrs. Anderson expects her students to know information that is ten times harder than what is in the book. On top of that, she doesn't give the students enough of the hard material in order to be able to pass the tests. So, even if you take notes, do your homework and pay attention, it seems almost impossible. Save yourself, don't take her class.

Everyone in my class complains about her, the way she teaches and her 6 question test. We're all failing. So obviously she is the common denominator. Midlands need to take a look at her as well as these evaluations and get rid of her! She's doing a very poor job at helping students. Unless you want to fail, get another teacher!

You couldn't find a worst teacher than this. Test material is on an entirely different level than the material covered in class. Assigns homework but won't help you with it if you have questions and doesn't take time to make sure you understand a chapter before moving on. YOU WILL FAIL HER CLASS!

As of right now, I am failing this class. Anderson was at least twenty minutes late for the first six or so classes. I am overall pretty good at math, but I do not understand anything in this class. She cannot teach at all. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!

Ms. Anderson is not a good teacher. Her lessons are totally different from the tests. Possibly the worst math instructor I've ever taken. There's a major difference between being a challenging and impossible teacher. I highly recommend finding someone else. Students drop from her class really fast within the first few days. And she's always late.

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! No care for the students. Absolutely no review for tests. Only grades are tests and final exam. DOES NOT FOLLOW BOOK WHAT SO EVER. If by chance you must take her class, study your bum off! She does give bonus point occasionally (ONLY saving grade).

Taking Anderson was the worst decision i ever made. I was warned about her but i thought that coming out of math 100 with a B would make me exceptional. OMG. So i'm not the strongest in math but it is so hard. This class is only for math wiz's if you have her as a teacher not for others who are not math friendly like myself.

O my, I came out of mat 100 with an A++ got to her class and it was like taking a foreign language. The quizes didn't do any good and the book was no use. Long story short I took 101 the following semester and passed with another A++..this goes to show sometimes it actually is the teacher.

This class was absolutely terrible! She was always 10-20 minutes late to the class and then would hold us late to make up for it. She DOES NOT teach by the book. She makes up her own problems, which is good for her, but it's useless when it's time to study. If you're actually trying to comprehend the material, do NOT take her class.

Instead of reinforcing the concepts within the subject matter to instill confidence among students, she starts with ridiculously long and confusing problems that are genius in her eyes, because she made them up.

She gives you problems that are harder than the ones in the book so you have nothing to practice.

I took Ms. Anderson's class twice and failed both times. Her teaching ethics are very rough and she doesn't grade homework only tests and her tests do not cover what we do in the textbooks or in class. Her tests are very difficult and if you do not get the answer the exact way she does it is considered wrong.

I legit had to withdraw from her class. From the beginning I didn't understand anything she was teaching. I'm okay with math but her teaching style makes you feel stupid. I thought about retaking her class but I might just take another one. Good luck to those who decide to take her. May the odds be forever in your favor!

It honestly amazes me that this professor is employed by Midlands Tech. Absolutely horrible, she does not answer a single question that you have without giving attitude. The only grade you will receive are from tests. Your notes and study material will be NOTHING like your test. By the end of my semester with her, there were a total of 9 people!

How to cover this rotten teacher in 350 words is not possible. Shows up late, gives no credit for any work. BAD ATTITUDE!! I wasted 475 bucks on her class and even went to the head of the department which they could care less. They got my money and i got screwed. She will confuse the whole class and gets off on it. Worst professor ever! I am usually an A student but this class was a struggle for me. She was unwilling to help students with problems in class, was sarcastic when class didn't catch on and graded very strictly. Not what I expected in entry level math. Most of the class withdrew after midterm. Do not attempt if you want to maintain a good GPA.

Probably the worst teacher I've had at MTC. Usually I'm really good at math and I catch on quickly but she made it like every thing I've ever learned was wrong which confused everyone and if you don't do the work her way, it's wrong. She doesn't care about her students being successful in her class. Do not take her.

The most difficult thing I have done in a while is thinking I was going to pass Anderson's class. I was fore warned about the difficulty. But was suckered on my registration with a class and the instrutor was TBA. First day of class Wanda Anderson. She has a nice personality, but she teaches on an advance level. I believe this is done on purpose.

This is by far the hardest class I have ever taken. She gives homework but does not grade homework. Five tests are the only grades you get, there is NO extra credit. I stayed on top of hw assignments and received tutoring regularly and still failed the exams. Has made my first semester at MTC very difficult. I will not be returning to school again.

I came in knowing I would pass. I've made A's in math all throughout high school, but as soon as I took her class I started failing. I don't normally blame teachers, but it isn't the material, it's her. Heads up!!! Do not take her class because 9/10 you will fail.

I wouldn't recommend the class. She expects you to know "proper terms" of ever single thing you ever learned in a math class. She's over the top during lecture. Head the warning, just don't!

Took her for MAT102, Everything was too advanced. She expects you to understand the material. You basically are learning complex material in a rush. I wouldn't recommend this class for people not genuinely good in math.

RUNNNN!! This class was way too advanced and she expects you to remember everything you've learned. She doesn't explain what she means and doesn't elaborate when you ask her something not understanding. I don't recommend this class for anyone.

Do yourself a favor and don't take her. She tries to teach math in a way I've never seen before in my life, and doesn't even teach it well. Unorganized, always late, keeps you late, and expects you to have something mastered after 4 minutes of teaching. We started this semester with about 30 students in the class. There are now 6. Had to withdraw.

Prof is often late. Lectures are short and sometimes even crammed in after tests. Prof expects you to understand the material quickly and gets frustrated easily. Not easy to talk to or listen to. Grade 5 tests (80%) and a final (20%). Only very few points of wiggle room to improve. If you are bad at testing or need a clear lecture, AVOID.

If you see this lady on your schedule immediately change teachers! She is the worst math teacher here. Anything you learn in class or in the textbook is never on the test. And she's very picky, if you don't do something her way it's not the right way. If you ask a question she will not answer it properly. The class only has 2 people left now...

Word of advice? RUN and change classes if you see her on your schedule. Terrible teaching style and she expects you to know material BEFORE she teaches it. If it's something new, she wants you to master it after 5 minutes of learning it. Ridiculously hard and with my experience, worst prof I've had in my 3 years at MTC .

Please! Get Away from this teacher. She nice,but needs to be teaching a high level calculus or something. Teaches MAT102 a to advance of a level . Makes everything confusing,and TEST are killers.

Unorganized teaching style and doesn't teach from the book. She *tries* to teach you new ways that are SO unhelpful and confusing. When signing up for classes even the advisors say stay away. Take my advice and don't take her class.

Only write in pen because apparently pencils aren't good enough for her, you will be assigned a lot of homework that is not even graded, your grade will be consisted of 4 tests and MAYBE "bonus" points IF you get the questions right. You will not be able to use a graphing calculator. The first day I went to this class, was the same day I dropped it

I will not take this class if I was you. She does not like pencils, she intentionally makes her problems EXTREMELY hard. Lots of Hw, and not graded at all. The only grades are the Test and extremely hard Bonus points. ( Definitely no HELP). She isn't going to help if you ask any questions. She answers indirectly Do not take her PLEASE! Terrible.
