She's a good teacher and is available outside of class and goes over the more difficult concepts several times. The multiple choice tests are okay if you study. You will have to put in some time and effort if you want to get above a C.

She is very nice. However, the tests are very hard and cover too much material. Very hard grader. Didn't like lab teacher I got stuck with either which was 30% of our grade.

i agrre she gives alot of information, but she is there to help you if u need it. remeber science is a tricky subject so u have to study your notes after each lecture. if you wait till a cople of days before the test then it gets tricky and looks alot.

Two things I'm bad at Science and Math. Believe Me when I say the dumbest person in the world could pass her class. Yes you have to study the notes, thats required in every subject. You can pass once you put a little effort and time to go over the notes.

The work load 4 this class is overwhelming, however if u REALLY study, u can excell!

Highly recommend this professor... Very approachable, and willing to explain things for an hour until you get it. Tests were easy, as long as you read the notes. Did not buy book, got an A.

Prof. Bailey is a wonderful teacher. She is patient with her students and is willing to help those who are not getting the material. She always makes herself available and goes over the material until the student understands it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!

She covers the material in her lectures very well and help is always offered during her office hours. Her exams require some critical thinking. Taking her is a no-brainer, but your choice of lab instructor is hit or miss.

Professor Bailey is a nice woman, she can be funny at times. Take her over the summer, she is simple and organized and plus no research paper. I'm not science friendly, not my subject and never will be.lol. I got a C in the class, but hey I passed and learned a couple of things. If Bailey is teaching another science class I would take her again.

When i firs took her class i was sure im gonna fail since i havent taken science since the 10th grade...but she made the class so structured and clear, that i got an A. There are easy notes, and if you study them you have no reason not to pass! Great Professor, will take again.

She's a very interesting professor and has her unique way of teaching. She's very nice, polite and patient with her students. Her exams are indeed pretty hard but if you keep up with her notes and never miss a class you're good to go. I got over 95's on her tests and 105 on her Final Examination , so you do the math. You'll love her, trust me.

Professor is wonderful, very helpful and nice person, grading system is fair, but you have to study in order to pass exams (3 multiple choice exams). She is a really good professor!

Although she talks like a robot, she repeats everything twice and if u fail this class you either didnt study or didnt come to class. Dont take this class with your friends cuz you'll get distracted...

she is ight, she gives 3 exams. dont think u could cheat off ur friends next 2 u because she gives out at least 3 to 4 different exams. she aint no joke when it comes to the exams. she is helpful but u gotta go 2 class cause u aint passing without that lecture.

she is oneof the best teachers that this school has. her lessons are clear and well put togather, she also makes an effort to make you understand the lesson. there are only 3 exams which are multiple choice. dont miss class cause she gives test question in class.

This is the best teacher I have had so far at John Jay. She was very organized and clear with the information she gave in class. I got A's on all 3 exams and got an A- as a final grade. She is also very nice and understanding and willing to help you. I strongly recommend taking her for this class!

You must attend every class so you can understand the lectures. She makes everything easy for you to understand. Make sure you pay attention and you MUST STUDY her NOTES!

She is nice, speaks well and clear and takes the her time. She teaches only what you need to know and makes it clear. It's a hard class Period with any professor so be ready to work. Dont take other classes with this class because it needs your full attention. Its not an easy A because it requires alot of study and focus but it is possible. A+

If you have her for lab: the labs only count for 15% so dont stress it. The lab quizzes and the term paper are much more important, so DO NOT MISS THEM. Especially the paper! As for lecture, she has some of the best notes I've ever seen a professor give. Still, the material can be hard, and so can her tests. With her notes, you can't fail though.

I was a slightly older student returning to school for the first time in a few years and she got me through science (which is not a strong area for me). Recommended!

I only had her as a lab instructor & I learned more from her than I did from the lecture prof. She was extremely helpful, gave extra credit although the subject was tricky. Only bad thing is she was usually late to class.

But u do have 2 buy the book anyway that's $40 wasted b/c the Labs sheets r not online 2 print. She is usually late everyday(SMH!).She may seem nice but she is a Evil Professor so watch Out. she is amazing!! only 3 exams, final isn't cumulative. all you need to worry about is her notes because the exams are based on her notes. a bit boring, but if you make friends you'll be okayy! Loved this class!!!!

She can teach anyone, which is great because some people just don't get science. It is a little boring is you're a bit quicker then the majority of the class. Just take good notes and SHOW UP for the tests!

The good thing about her is that the lecture is straight-foreword. if you dont understand, it's just your fault because she repeats the last lecture and goes in a slower than normal pace. In addition, some times she adds extra points on midterms & finals. Her test are tricky, so dont expect a decent grade if you didn't study

She is a great professor,though I felt she moved a bit too slow,but if science isn't your best subject than that's perfect. She explains things clearly, and is really appreciative when people ask questions, even if she has repeated the same thing 5 times. A lot of people find the tests hard, but I found them to be pretty easy. It's an easy A.

Easy A. Attendance not mandatory for lectures but almost every test question is based on her PPT slides so it's on you if you miss class. Easy lectures. Very receptive to questions. Tests can be passed with flying colors by coming to class and studying for an hour. No science skills necessary.

She's nice and very patient. attendance isn't mandatory but important cause the notes will help you pass all the exams, she doesnt put her slides on blkbrd. She's a fair grader and sometimes adds extra points to exams, good class, very clear, great teacher!

Excellent professor. Very patient. As you take her class & notes she tells you which parts will be on the exam. There is nothing unexpected. Attendance is not mandatory but you need the notes to pass exams. I enjoyed the class very much. If you take the notes you will pass her exams. She also gives extra points as a curve. She was a great professor, explained things over again if you didn't understand it the first time. I am horrible at science and I still passed. So I strongly recommend her. Just be sure to pay attention and take good notes and you will be fine.

As long as you study her notes WORD FOR WORD and do the chapter quizzes, you are guaranteed an A in ALL of her exams. Her exams are not difficult at all as long as you study her notes. She has a strong personality so don't expect to charm your way to an A because that will not fly with her. You need to earn your grade. She's very helpful though.

For a student who has absolutely no interest in science, she was very helpful. Embarassing at it may sound, a C is a good grade for me in a science class, and she always makes herself available. I would definitely recommend taking her, especially if the student needs someone to break it down for them. Make sure you read, and memorize.

She is a sweetheart. She will explain things as many times as needed until everyone understands. She does tell you what to study for and gives examples of what exactly is going to be on the midterm and final so there will be no surprises. If you need this as a requirement for another course and aren't into science this is the best course to take.

Prof. Bailey is extremely boring and reads directly off the slides for an ninety minutes straight. Her exams are so specific that you practically need to memorize every detail of each topic gone over in class. No textbook but long powerpoints are provided.

The class are dominated by lectures, which are then posted to blackboard, and any homework given are based on an in class video which is also posted online. There there are 2-3 test, a midterm and a final exam which is non-cumulative. There is a group project and paper based on a topic of your choice.

Prof. Bailey is an amazing teacher. She really cares esp. when you show effort. No laziness or you wont get your A. Powerpoint heavy but totally worth it because she will upload them online. Interesting lectures; very informative. One group project. Simple. I wish I could take her again!

Originally I was nervous about this course because I am not interested in science and heard Prof Bailey was a harsh grader, but I have learned so much in her course. Show up, take notes and you will do great! The most organized professor I have ever taken and it helps a lot. She is so sweet and caring! Stay on top of your work and always be ahead!

Her class is okay. Expected it to be harder but she is very fair. Few homework assignments, 3 tests and a group presentation. Show up, take a lot of notes, and pay somewhat attention and you should be fine.

Her class is based on a few tests, a group presentation, few videos with questions attached, and an open book final. She provides extra credit and is very reasonable considering the current situation.

Professor Bailey is one of the greatest professors I have ever had. She is very considerate and always stays after class if we have any questions. There is not a lot of homework, but if there is, there's a strict policy for handing it in like every other professor. Overall, a great professor and I would totally take her again if I could :)

Prof. Bailey is adorable and caring! She was literally my fav professor. Her class isn't hard at all.. Just show up take notes, study for exams, do homework. The only downside to her lectures is that they are content full so she moves pretty fast thru them, not allowing enough time to copy down notes. BUT, she does post the lectures on BB.

Prof Bailey is hands down one of the best science professors I've had at John Jay. She is very caring and understanding. She really will go out of her way to help her students if they need. I was having a tough semester when I took this course and she worked with me and helped me improve my grade. Take her if you can!
