I absolutely love Professor Chaves, she is one of the best Professors in Darla. She truly cares about her students and teaches you skills that you'll use all throughout your career. Mostly projects that are super fun and useful. Test are straight forward so if you study you will do well. No textbook or homework other than article reading. Take her!

Great teacher. Clear grading criteria, really helps you understand the hiring process of many corporations. Really cares about keeping lectures interesting. For exams if you do the review (which she gives you) you will do fine (80+). Group work is fun and engaging.

I typically struggle to pay attention in 50/75 minute classes. This class is 150 minutes and I never am bored. Her lectures, stories, and experience are so interesting there is never a dull moment in class. Outside work is do-able and graded fairly. Take this class!

Professor Chaves was my thesis director and incredibly helpful and understanding throughout the process. She was understanding of outside circumstances and was always willing to help whenever called upon. She showed great confidence in student ability and gave great, encouraging feedback, even when there were aspects of the paper that needed work.

This class was required for my major, and Prof. C made it interesting. She's very approachable and sweet. She has no problem with helping you out with extra help if needed. I was initially put off by how few assignments go into your grade, though they end up being exactly what you go over in class. The group project was interesting too.

Professor C is truly the best! I took this class for my international elective and I am so glad I did. The material itself can be a little boring but she finds ways to make it fun. I truly enjoyed this class and got a lot out of it. As long as some effort is put in, it is not a hard class.

One of the greatest professors!! Her class was online and she posted all the material on the first day so you could do the work at your own pace. Her lecture videos were between 25-35 minutes and were super easy to follow. She responded fast to emails and after every video you took a quiz which was quick and easy! I took the completely online, asynchronous class for MGMT 371 and I would definitely recommend her. You can work ahead and all her lectures and quizzes are already posted online. There are only 2 exams during the entire semester and they are pretty easy.

A lot of info so def study and use quizlet, but she's not trying to confuse you. Answers emails quickly, and the video lectures are actually pretty interesting. 10/10 prof :)

Professor Chaves is great. Cares a lot about her students and is accessible outside of class. She has really neat examples and stories to connect to the content. Can be a lot of work but it's all useful. Definitely recommend.

I am currently in Mgmt 406 online with professor Chaves. I have really enjoyed her class despite it being at 8:05am. It is really good information to use. I learned the cultural values from this course and have been able to apply them in two of the other courses I am taking. It is a really helpful course for future course.

I really enjoy my International Human Resources class! Dr. Chaves is an amazing teacher and has so many cool experiences to share. She also has many guest speakers, from big companies too, like Disney! You can tell that she genuinely cares about her students and making sure they get real-world knowledge. Extremely interesting content, a few video assignments, weekly discussions & quizzes, 2 exams total for the semester. Very straight forward and clear with directions and feedback. This was a synchronous online course which met on zoom. No textbook required. Wanda is very nice and understanding & easy to communicate with! Would recommend :)

Shes really cool. There is an online zoom metting for an hour at 8am but other than that its really on your own time to complete the assignments. Shes a really cool person and none of the assignments are very hard. You just have to do your work and you will get a good grade.

Professor Chaves is very passionate about what she does and loves other people and cultures. This class does require a good bit of work though but it is nothing extremely difficult. The projects have really opened my eyes to so many things and this is probably one of the most applicable classes I've taken. She's great, I recommend!!

Essentially you have 4 video assignments (10 slides 5-10 min video recording)You are allowed to work ahead on the weekly blog posts (they are so interesting, you watch 2 ted talks and write a short reflection).I would recommend Professor Chaves over and over,I'm actually engaged! Professor Chaves is a great teacher! She always answers emails in a timely manner. The class work is super light, with assignments due, mostly, every Thursday. Due dates may not always be on Thursday tho so always check blackboard since it is an online course. Few tests and video assignments during the course. Definitely recommend Professor Chaves!

Dr. Chaves has been an excellent professor. I cannot speak highly enough about her. She is very helpful and understands that life happens and she is always there to help. She has great stories and the student's best interests in mind. Cannot recommend her enough.

Super nice professor, and assignments were pretty easy. If you watch the lectures you don't even really have to read the textbook except maybe to study for the exams. Assignments were engaging and simple. Only complaint I have is that the assignments were always due at 5:00pm rather than 11:59, making them easy to miss if you don't pay attention.

Easy online class. Can work ahead. Mainly lecture videos and quizzes but some video assignments. Takes about 1-2 hr per week. Everything is on blackboard. Don't really need to buy the textbook either. All info on quizzes and tests are covered in the lecture videos. Easy class to knock out a business core.

Professor Chaves is an amazing professor. While MGMT 406 is an online class, she is able to make it interactive. She has many professional connections who come speak with the class. There is a good amount of work, but if you manage your time well you will be fine. Overall, I enjoyed my time in this class and would highly recommend it.

This course requires a lot of hw and extra work. Her lectures a very long, but the quizzes require you to have paid attention to them. First exam was pretty easy, as long as you filled out and reviewed her study guide. Overall, not a bad teacher, just a lot of work for a simple class

I loved this class! There were only 2 exams the whole year but if you study and take good notes. Youll do very well. There were a few video assignments throughout the year that were quick ad fun to do. Would definitely take again!!

Prof. Chaves has so many cool stories about management! This class is super simple and straightforward, but she makes it much more interesting with the lecture videos. I had Wanda Chaves for MGMT 406 and MGMT 405 (both asynchronous). There are two easy exams in each class and a good amount of assignments/video assignments; however, as long as you complete everything on time, you will easily pass the class. Easy management electives with lessons you can actually use in your life and in your professional future.

Easy A online class for an IB elective. Very structured and simple weekly homework – just plan ahead cuz some assignments take a while. Loved the flexibility and structure of this course, would highly recommend!

One of the better Professors. I took her over the summer, and the main objective was to watch 4 40 minutes videos weekly and take good notes. I found that as long as you kept up with the syllabus, you were fine. I was also working full time and found the course manageable.
