It's mostly Vocabulary so just read the book and know the terms and you will do fine. The only "tough" parts are the different Excel, Access and HTML assignments, but they are graded fairly easy.

Easiest A for ISYS 210. Would definitely recommend. Homework is not hard and there is only one assignment due weekly. Keep up with homework and reading and the tests are easy.

Homework assignment are long and very boring, but not really difficult. Exams are basically just slightly longer homework assignments.

Curtsinger is definitely the best ISYS 210 professor. Her lectures are very straightforward, over the chapters in the book, but still go because she basically tells you what you need for the tests. She is very sweet and helpful. Class is canceled every other friday at least. Great professor. Definitely recommend.

Such a great prof! Her lectures go over everything you need to know for the tests and she cares about her students' success. Class is also cancelled a lot. Tests aren't hard if you go to class and read the textbook. Definitely the easiest ISYS prof. I would 100% take again!

TAKE HER! She's probably the sweetest lady ever! But if you take her class, you HAVE to go to class. Seriously. But if you do go to class and read the book, it should be a very chill class with a very easily attainable A. The homework took a toll on my grade more than the tests. The hardest part of this class was getting up early.

Easy A. All material is common sense. Only had to buy the book for access code, never used it otherwise. About 80% of the class is excel and access assignments, which are easy and you can do them at the same time as the practice tutorials that are also a grade. Don't worry about or study for the 4 exams, each one is less than 2% of your grade.

If you have to take ISYS210, and all business students do, take it with Curtsinger if you can! She cares for her students and her tests are far fairer than Phinney's (from what I've gathered). You still have to study but it's a pretty easy class to get an A in as long as you put in the work!

Curtsinger is an interesting teacher. I think she cares about the subject in general, I'm not too sure if she actually cares about her teaching though. Regardless, it's a fairly easy class. Attendance not mandatory, but she did give about 1 overall grade point of extra credit once. She wont say she does, but she does round up from an 88.5!

This class has been one of my favorites so far. The homework isn't bad, just make sure you don't wait until friday afternoon! The GA's help a lot. GO to class, and write everything she says because that can be on the test. She does have extra credit, and she's really funny without trying to be. I enjoyed her class and highly recommend. :)

She's a good prof! Go to class! For the homework make sure you go to the GA's if you need help. Big part of your grade. Tests were okay, not horrible and not easy. I would take her over Phinney. She has extra credit in class sometimes. She's a super cool lady and she's really funny without trying. Probably one of my favorite classes this semester.

ISYS 209 is probably one of the easier classes I have taken at this university. So long as you keep up with the coursework you will be fine. The class will take you about 4-5 hours per week and there is no lecture so it isn't too bad. Quizzes and tests are open book/open note so overall the class was pretty easy.

Each week there are a handful of assignments due online with that can get overwhelming at times, so my best advice would be to split the work up throughout each week, take the time to get 100s on quizzes and simulations, and use the help available from TAs at the WCL Computer Lab by looking into the hours they'll be available.

Unbiased review. The class is not hard but it will become hard if you let it. The chapter quizzes, videos, and simulations are easy and you can run through them quickly. The excel and access simulations and problems will take you hours but aren't difficult. Tests aren't bad just google and use the book and you'll pass! Should be getting an A.

Took online, easy A. Tons of homework but it's not hard just don't get behind. Most homework is word for word in the book, but also on google. Other than that I only used the book for a few definitions. Tests are 75Q's in 60 minutes so no time to mess around, but most answers were found on google, those that weren't were easy to guess correctly.

Professor Curtsinger was entertaining as a professor for an online course. She sent out constant reminders when our assignments were due, and I am so thankful because I forgot almost every week. She definitely helped me succeed in this class, and she was very willing to help outside of class also. Study well, and you can definitely make an A.

Overall, this class isn't that bad with this professor. The exams are fair. I'd argue that the homework was actually the hardest and most dreadful part of this class. With that being said, the homework wasn't impossible or anything, there's just a lot of it. She is kind and funny. I would highly recommend her for this particular class.

ISTM 209 isn't that difficult of a class since it's online, but it does come with a lot of homework. It's totally doable as long as you set aside time to do the work. Dedicate certain days to this class, don't procrastinate, and you'll get an A easily. Curtsinger is really quirky and sweet. 10/10 would recommend.

My best advice: DO THE ONLINE HOMEWORK WITH THE TAs EVERY WEEK!! I regret not getting perfect scores on all of my homework assignments. But Curtsinger is a great prof, funny, interesting. I would probably recommend taking phinney though only because there are hardly any study resources for Curtsinger's class. You have to go to class to get notes.

Took this class online, she clearly lays out the due dates and point values in the syllabus. With the online textbook it's not hard to sit down and do the week's work in a couple hours. Definitely go to the TA's for help if you're not familiar with Excel, Access, or HTML (There's only one HTML project though)

You barely interact with Prof C (other than her rather entertaining emails). The grading criteria is very clear, and her FAQs and information sheets make sure you know exactly what is expected. You know exactly what is expected of you from day 1. It's a lot of work, but doable.

Prof. C. seems really nice and is great at sending out reminders, but is not really heavily involved in this class. You mostly deal with Pearson. The class is very time consuming, but isn't that difficult. Do the readings and get the assignments done early in the week so you don't fall behind. Don't stress out in the first week, it gets easier.

This class can be difficult due to the heavy assignments each week. However, Curtsinger is extremely genuine and will respond to any email. She is very open to feedback and loves to hear from her students. If I could take Curtsinger in another class I wouldn't hesitate. Just be prepared to work!

While this class does have a lot of work to do each week, it is not difficult at all. She has very clear expectations from the beginning, and everything is submitted through Pearson. I never spent more than two hours a week working on this course, and if I did have any questions, she responded very quickly to emails.

She is a really nice and understanding prof, and her grading guidelines are very clear. There is kinda a lot of homework each week but if you do it with the GAs in the beginning of the week you're done. The homework is really easy. The excel and access assignments were the most difficult but the GAs will help you on every question.

Dr Curtsinger is a very caring woman, she send like a million emails a day reminding you about upcoming due dates and office hours. There is a lot of homework, but it isn't too difficult. Fairly easy online class, everything you should need can basically be found online.

This class is heavily taught by yourself. Prof Curtsinger sends weekly emails with assignment lists, but all the learning you do is on your own. She responds fast to emails. There is a lot of homework each week, but it isn't too difficult. An A is definitely attainable if you do your work!

Easy A class. Everything self taught, prof only sends out emails with reminders about due dates. Must get the textbook with the access code in order to do the material and you will need it for hw/quizzes. All hw was open so you could work ahead which was nice. only hard thing was the HTML assignment and only because it was time consuming.

This class requires a lot of time because each week you'll have an assignment on McGraw Hill and MyEducator but if you set aside the time, the class is easy. Lots of busy work.

the class is a relatively easy A as long as you can keep up with assignments and don't procrastinate! the excel assignments suck but just by doing anything you know it will give you partial credit, so at least attempt them!! wanda responded to emails very quickly and while she doesn't actually teach the material she is very nice and gives reminders

Curtsinger was a great professor. There is a lot of homework assigned weekly, but it is very easy. She also sends out the most entertaining emails during the beginning of the week stating what is due and a portion of her personal life which was fun because you get to know her while having an online class.

Super easy class, at first I was really overwhelmed by the amount of homework, but after a week or two it gets easier. The class is completely online and she sends out reminder emails once a week. As long as you stay on top of your work and don't wait until the last minute this class should be an easy A!

Wanda has little contact with the class but will send plenty of reminders about due dates and updates. There is about 4 hours of work per week from textbook assignments and Excel spreadsheets. There is one assignment where you must construct a website. The whole class is open book, just no group work. If you put in the time it is an easy A.

Not the easiest of classes, but not impossible if you just stay one step ahead on all of the assignments and give yourself plenty of time to do the 'Test your Skills'. Recommend watching all of the videos and even taking notes on some of the harder codes and equations. She is very good at sending weekly reminders and emailing back quickly.

This class can be a pin because there are so many excel assignments and McGraw hill assignments due every week. Quizzes and exams are all straightforward through McGraw-Hill so as long as you stay on top of the assignments and study the McGraw hill, you will be fine! Heads up, access can be a pain to some ppl but don't let it scare you, I liked it!

This class is easy but there is a lot of weekly homework. The homework was a lot each week and sometimes would take hours but if you put some time into it you should end up with an A no problem. Tests are really easy.

Professor doesnt do anything except send out reminders for due dates. Everything else is self taught but isnt too difficult. Theres a lot of assignments due every thursday but once you get the hang of things its not bad. half of homework is quizzes and assignments based on reading (i never read and was fine) and other half was from lectures & excel

Dr. Curtsinger seems like a very nice woman, her emails are nice to read. Sends reminders for weekly assignments. Everything is self taught; quizzes and exams are open note. The class is primarily McGraw, Excel, and Access. I found the class very organized and easy to follow. Definitely an easy A... Some excel/access assignments took a long time.

I am not sure why so many are complaining. This is literally the easiest class I have taken at A&M. Time consuming, but just stay on top of things and you'll be fine.

Lots of assignments but they were all fairly easy. The test your skills assignment were by far the hardest but if you do everything else you can make bad grades on them and they wont bring your grade down. Just do your work on time and dont procrastinate and youll make a A or B for sure.

Honestly it is an easy A. All the people who are saying that this is one of the worst professors probably never attended office hours to get help and procrastinated. I also procrastinated all the assignments till the day it was due and still got a 100 on most of them. Open note on everything and there were vids walking through the excel assignments

This class is honestly an easy B or even A if you do more assignments than I did. The professor sends out emails at the beginning of the week telling you what is due, she seems nice. The assignments are easy, there is a mid semester project that isn't hard but time consuming.

Just get all your assignments done and its an easy A. It's the same routine every week with homework on the online book and excel (go to TA office hours for help on those). There is one project where you have to code your own website, which is super time consuming especially if you've never coded before. All online, you're basically own your own.

Super easy class! Professor Curtsinger is super understanding and will give extensions if needed. Some of the excel assignments are harder than others but not terrible. I have never coded a day in my life and the HTML assignment only took me a few hours. She seems like a really sweet person and the classwork is super easy! Highly recommend

Not a bad class, just tedious and somewhat uninteresting for me personally. Exams need to be studied for, access and excel homeworks are tedious but video tutorials provided are helpful. She is a good lecturer and brings in a lot of personal stories to add to concepts which was nice.

Overall, not terrible class. Lectures save you for the tests, you learn how to study to prepare pretty well, excel/access assignments weekly which are annoying and can take a while. Gave extra credit during lecture once but helped a lot with my grade tbh. One of her TA's wasn't great but prof is accessible and helpful during her office hours.

Dr. Curtsinger was super sweet. She was easily accessible and more than half the class was through McGraw Hill. The excel and access projects were super tough but bearable once you get the hang of it.

Lots of assignments each week. Half of the assignments are in excel, and with no excel knowledge, I got thru them all without watching lecture videos. The other assignments are in a quiz format and all answers are on Quizlet. Literally every exam answer is on Quizlet. Only hard assignment is the html project- I didn't do it and ended with a b.

Easy class, just do the work. Everything is open note so use you resources. There is a LOT of busy work, so don't put things off. I gave myself 2 hours twice a week and that was moreee than enough. Easy to keep track of work once you get a few a weeks in, the hardest part is the Excel hw and the Access stuff at the end.

Just keep up with the excel homework assignments and write everything she says in class because they will show up specifically on the exam. Also, She is so accessible, caring and gives tons of extra credit.

She is a great professor and wants you to learn. She is much better than phinney, and test are not to bad if you go to class and pay attention. Get to class early and she will review the topics that will be on the test. She is one of my favorite professors so far.

This class is very tedious and can be challenging, specifically the excel/access assignments. Other than that it's fairly simple. Best advice I could give is to have someone who already took this class help you with assignments since she hasn't changed her assignments in years. Fairly simple class though. All online.

Prof. Curtsinger has been my favorite professor I've had at A&M. Her lectures help so so much on the exams, and she truly encourages her students to learn the material in a collaborative an fun way. She also talks about life as well, and engages the class on personal things while teaching which makes the environment very comfortable.

If you know the basics regarding excel and other systems like access you'll be fine. We had to create a website but it's a 5 person project so I worked on it for maybe 2 hours. I love Dr. Curtsinger, I read all of her posts because of how entertaining they are. Regardless, you're looking at 3 hours of homework a week and an A in a class.

This class isn't hard, there's just a lot of homework. It's very well organized and clear about the grading criteria. Most of the assignments are about learning how to use Excel and come with a step-by-step video to help you with the assignment. I wasn't very proficient in Excel before this class, and I still managed to make an A.

The excel and access assignments are so annoying to do weekly, but prepare you well for the tests. If you go to class, this class is an extremely easy A. If not, then good luck.

I actually enjoyed this class. There is usually about 7 assignments due a week but they really don't take that long. Every exam is open note and straight from the book, same with all of the other assignments. The MyLab assignments sucked but they are very useful to know as a business minor. Easy A.

The class is well structured - 4 exams, access & excel assignments, and HTML group project. If you take good notes in class and read the textbook, then it is easy to get an A in exams. For the HTML project, the TAs are great resources. The access assignments were time consuming though. If you like technology, then you are going to enjoy this class.

This class is not a super easy class, but as long as you come to class and take good notes, you should be fine. The lectures are very fast and some of the questions on the test come from very specific or random things she says, but she does a good job preparing you for the exams and covering the material. There was also some helpful extra credit

Prof. Curtsinger is awesome!!! She is so kind, and her class is not difficult. All you have to do is listen to her lecture and study that. She offers before class study sessions which are soooo helpful. One of my favorite professors at A&M

She is a great prof & is readily available outside of class. The grading criteria is set from the beginning and the format of the class is the same for every week. There is a group project which you can knock out in a few hours. The only thing you have to be sure of is to keep up to date on assignments & don't wait until the last minute.

She's an OK teacher so far. It's a lot of busywork but you get used to it tbh. My favorite part was the HTML website we had to make. Everything else is kind of basic computer and ISTM info. The exams are pretty easy.

Prof shares a bit much about her personal life, sometimes fun, sometimes too much. Excel ramps up in difficulty, html isn't that bad once you get the hang of it, access is somewhat fun. Exams and homework are very easy. Prof is nice. Her TA's are hit or miss, sometimes very helpful, other times take you in circles.

This class is an easy A if you put in the work. There is A LOT of excel assignments throughout the semester so I suggest you work on them weeks in advance when you have free time. It was an online course so I only ever communicated with her through email but she was always very helpful with any questions I had. The course has a lot of work and you definitely need to be able to manage your time wisely. I ended up with a C because there were so many time I just did not allow enough time to complete the assignments.

She is incredible and this class is perfectly organized. A lot of the focus is on excel (~50%), but there are videos that tell you how to do EVERYTHING. I never had a problem with the assignments and this was the easiest A of my life. I have taken 4 online classes and this is the easiest by a mile, please take 209 with her.

easy class, follow the professor's instruction, hardest part is coding html and using Excel. But, following the given material is the best way to learn it. (easier for me since i knew a bit of code before). Exams were 50 questions in 40 mins, but use your notes and it is easy.

I loved her lectures. She is respectable and knowledgeable. Exams were tricky, and assignments were challenging for me. Start your Access, Excel, and HTML way in advance. You will have questions, and you will need help. Go to class, and be sure to write down everything that she says and memorize it all. Don't skip class.

Prof Curtsinger was great. Try to do something everyday I found that If I do the minor assignments on the weekend that it was less stressful. Tests are open notes. Messed up big on 2 excel assignments, but still managed do get an A. At the end you can get certified in excel and Sql. I would definitely take her again.

While attendance isn't mandatory, lectures cover exactly what the tests are over and she usually provided helpful review/practice questions in class. Homework assignments have clear instructions and the textbook content closely aligns with exam topics. If you do the work and show up to class, she prepares you well to be successful in the course.

Prof. Curtsinger makes ISTM 210 very doable! Attendance isn't mandatory, but she'll do test review questions, go over info not in the textbook, and sometimes offer assignments that will count for extra credit later, all during class. Start Excel and Access assignments in advance. Do the practice questions at the end of the textbook to study.

Doing this class for a business minor and I found it pretty challenging at times. You really have to dedicate your time to learning the material since there is a lot of homework. There is work due at the end of every week that is very manageable if you are organized. Exams are also pretty easy as long as you understood the chapter.

The hardest part about this class was learning Excel and the other coding sections and honestly the coding stuff was not that bad. The other material you learn is pretty straightforward. The group project was not that bad, as long as you do not work on it last minute. Don't slack off on your weekly assignments and this should be an easy A for you.

This class was definitely tedious, but overall, it was not that hard of a class. There are easy assignments due each week, but none of them are super hard especially if you watch the videos. The group project was time consuming, but also not that difficult (I did it by myself because she doesn't assign groups).

The material for this class is hard no matter what professor you have. She explains things very well and at the end of each class tells you questions that will be on exam. Clear with the amount of work that needs to be done and expects you to read before class in order to answer questions. If she sees enough participation, gives extra credit.

While the class is a lot of work if you keep up with the assignments its really not a bad class. The only way to end up with a bad grade is not to do any of the work while it does take about an hour for the excel work each week. Easy A in all honesty just keep up with it an you should be fine!

The class is a lot of work "for an online class" but if you just make time for it like you would a regular class, you'll be fine. The projects look hard but they're really simple if you just apply yourself and actually read the lessons for excel, html, and other sites. The exams are open everything but timed so take good notes on the computer.

First online class, super easy setup online and you can get ahead, one coding project i feel she didn't prepare us for, work wasn't hard, you can use textbook on tests, excel assignments but if you watched the videos it wasn't bad she sent a minimum of one email out every week to remind you for assignments due too

Prof. Curtsinger laid out her course in a very straightforward and fluid way. She is very responsive to emails on weekdays and wants everyone to succeed. Graded assignments are primarily unlimited time excel assignments, exams (unproctored), and an HTML project. The class is a very easy A if you are tedious and take your time.

I loved Professor Curtsinger's class. Make sure you try to respond to her questions, she appreciates when students do that. If you show you care about her class, she will care about you. The class is challenging, but her lectures are helpful so make sure you attend. She always finishes class early which is nice.

Whoever said this class is hard or not good, did not try. This class was the easiest I have even taken at TAMU. There are many assignments that are easy to do, while most are long there are practice assessments that give you a video showing all you information you need to know. This class was awesome. Take it if you need it.

This class was extremely easy. The first half of the semester is Excel assignments and tbh they were very easy and had clear constructions. You have an HTML group project, and you can pick your group members, and the project directions literally tell you the exact code to write so it was easy. Overall, not a stressful class.

Professor Curtsinger is a good professor there are just lots of assignments due. As long as you get them done in time you will be fine.

Professor Curtsinger is a kind person and extremely knowledgeable about the IT industry. She truly wants you to succeed. You must attend lectures, because many questions on each exam pertain to information that cannot be found in the textbook or in her slides, only during lecture. Access assignments do not work on Mac.

Easiest busi minor class I've taken. assignments are self paced and do require you to read the instructions, especially the SQL parts. there's one major HTML project, can be in a group if u prefer, but i did it on my own and got an easy 100. there are TONS of hw which is kind of annoying. plus u can be certified in HTML, excel, and SQL at the end.
