He was amazing! Always finished early, really great teacher! Never boring.
Very good teaching style! keep up the good work!
I never once fell asleep in this guy's class!
Funny and nice in class, unapprochable and unhelpful outside of class.
Easy tests (all multiple choice), very clear and coherent lecturer

Multiple choice tests, goodlooking prof =)
Yes! very full of himself, too much discussion in class. Not a seminar!!!
I only took the class coz he's hot.

I agree with other comment: nice/funny in class, unapproachable/high&mighty out
Good Prof. Kept classes interesting and relevant
inflated ego, obnoxious with rules, thinks he's something else

boring.
Yeah he sure is high and mighty. Thing is at first he seems really approachable, but then...
are we talking about the same prof? struthers is amazing! very easy mc exams, lots straight from study guide. easy to talk to and ask questins. always friendly. a great prof. lectures kinda slow but dont wanna make u shoot yourself
all multiple choice exams! lectures were interesting
Well at least if the class sucks he is interesting to look at... pretty good overall. He's hot so at least take the class for that!
His mc questions can get tricky (he's very detail oriented). Otherwise a great professor, very approachable and helpful. Good lectures.
HOT and uses fun and interesting examples!
Not very helpful. Tricky exams.
Engaging lecturer, i actually stayed awake during his 8:30 lectures. Handsome, very much so.
I love this class. He makes it fun to go to and has you listening for the entire class--very good lectures. overheads very short and to the point. exams...kind of difficult b/c of the amount to detail. very smart, knows what he's talking about...very handsome, too!
Struthers is a wonderful prof. Exams are alright, although you have to really study for them because they can get tricky at times. Lectures are very well presented. I highly recommend this him.
He would make an excellent prof IF you didn't have to worry about getting a grade in his course. Our class average is a 68....so I'm definitely not alone in saying he has very tricky mc exams....and even when there were some unfair questions on the last one, the grades did not change.
lectures were not boring, but you don't really get anything from being there, because he is unable to get an organized, coherent thought together. his tests were very unfair....mc exams with really obscure and unfair questions.
not very approachable, our class avg for first test was 75, which upset him and he HAD to lower the next one to 68 which was still too high for him and the final, 64..,should understand/take solace that the class got 75 and good for us.. but nope he has to try to make the next test more ambiguous
terrible
Interesting class. "Dr. Hot" is so cute with his in-class demos complete with student volunteers and his life experience stories. 1 or 2 questions on each exam were ambiguous (won't change) but they were overall fair if a little hard. He is a bit tight but good lectures. His TA is great for help.
Lectures are clear and to the point, quite engaging with students, humourous, which makes the lectures more interesting, test was NOT easy but fair. Speaks in non-authoritarian style-great. Choice of text was good. Bonus for attractiveness-distracting at times. (rating from an A student's pov)

very good prof...two thumbs up
was clear in his lecturing style, tests were okay if you read the textbook, he made lectures interesting.
SUPER DUPER HOTTTTTTT!!!! I would take the class all over again just to look at him....HI SIR I KNOW U READ THESE!!! However I did get an A in the class so I may be a bit biased.
tests seem REALLY EASY, but very decieving... tricky tricky... strongly advise everyone to study the small details!! uses all of the above, none of the above as well....to the point, good lectures, good textbook, TRICKY TRICKY tests!!!
“It is in his volitional capacity to make our test easy or hard". If you want an A, study between the lines and give 200% effort. Stop putting him on a pedestal, we'll make him a narcissist. Besides, he knows it already. Thesis supervisor would be good..what do you think?
He seems to take pleasure in the learning of his students. I think he's very competent.
Extremely interesting and helpful. Exams are quite easy as long as you attend lectures. Fair marker... HOT!
He kept lectures interesting and was the only lecture that you'd want to go to everyday. His exams are clear and fair, a little on the easy side if you keep up w/. readings and such. His TA's are also very adequete and helpful as well. Plus he's really sweet & funny...AND hot...AND approachable! Take his course!!!
He is an execellent Professor... He explains the terms or theories very clear... And he teaches in very interesting way... NOTICE: his exams are not easy at all... but if you study for the Exams, you for sure won't fail the course!
hot? super duper hot? what the hell... anyways, he's a really good prof, but i have no idea what these people mean by his supposed hotness. :/
Hot? No. Easy? Not really. Interesting? Definitely. He's a very capable prof. I would definitely recommend his class.
Very nice prof, good teaching style...interesting lectures... :) I would recommend his class ...
Although his tests can be hard, it is well worth taking this course with him. His lectures are very engaging and he is quite clear when explaining various concepts. As long as you study hard in this course, you'll get a good grade.
HARD prof dont take this course, class average is C and he is happy with that!!!!!! his tests are impossible. I studied one week in advance, went to every lecture, and still did horrible on his exams. dont take it hes not worth getting a bad grade over.yea hes cute and "nice", seemingly, but u will for sure get a bad grade. DONT DO IT
His tests are tricky but it is possible to get a decent grade if you study (A LOT). His lectures are interesting and overall he is a pretty good prof!
His lectures are usually fresh, well-structured and informative - he actually is confident and knowledgeable about the subject. Pretty good text. No, the exams are not a breeze, but they also aren't unreasonable either; you just can't coast through them - you have to know your stuff. Better than most profs I've had.
... to the last ratings ... Whaaat?... Seems to me that somebody is upset because the final exam was too tough for them ;) (no harm, just kidding) But I do agree that some of the concepts are just too much ... But the Prof is so nice :) and u know the research in other psych areas are as 'ethical' as research done in social psych.
...wait until u do your thesis:).. There was a study done before 60s,where they believed marijuana makes ppl. hungry(decreases blood sugar)so they gave men large dose of marijuana.lol,...talk about the ethics. But it
Hm--- this guy really has come a long way--- from being "egotistic, high and mighty, arrogant" to "the best prof ever!!!" LOL. Makes you wonder what kind of front he's putting up. Who the **** thinks his exams are easy?!!? Those were some of the most brutal MC questions I have encountered!!! I passed and I am thankful at least for that!
woah.. tough crowd. he really isn't so bad of a professor. he tries his best not to be a typically boring prof and he does a pretty good job methinks. the exams are not easy but they're definitely fair. come to the lectures, know the book inside out and you'll do just fine.
Dr. Struthers is an amazing prof with a lot of experience. If you need help, he is more than willing to help. He teaches with passion and he knows his stuff and he makes you know the stuff too. The only problem....his exams are almost impossible. They are very difficult and tricky :S But if your willing to learn he's willing to teach :)
Since this site practices censorship to the max & deleted all my honest reviews, I'll have to rephrase. In my opinion, don't take this man's class. As said before, you might hear he's nice and oh-so-cute, but I found him to be terribly unmotivating, discouraging, unscrupulous and completely dispiriting to the field of social psych. Exams are easy if you try.
Geez.. I guess he's one of those profs who has his lovers and haters. I personally think he is a really great prof. his exams are difficult, but his lectures are interesting. i never miss any one of his classes.
I only took his class because everyone on here was saying how hot he was. :P (So not true.. you people have bad bad taste.) :D But he's a good professor. Interesting and engaging. Definitely helped since the class is at 8:30 in the morning! Exams were too tough though.
these people are lying! he's the best professor at yorku!!! he's hot and smart and nice! highly recommend him!
This prof is an excellent lecturer. He has a lot of enthusiasm in the course and is very willing to help anyone. There were a lot of class discussions, which made the lectures more interesting. His exams are extremely hard so be prepared to STUDY for hours!!! Take this course with Struthers if you are REALLY interested in Social Psyc.
He's awesome and thats the end of that. I really hope he comes to his senses and teaches I/O in FW06/07 :D
Really good prof. Gets you thinking.
great class & great prof. He is so clear and there is nothing surprising on his exams. If you study you can do very well.
He is amazing! What I liked most about him was the fact that he actually knew what he was teaching, unlike most profs at York. His exams were very straightforward; if you study, you do well!
He is actually quite a good prof. Pretty interesting with his lectures and class discussions. You'll do find on the exams if you read the book AND show up to every class. His fashion taste sucks though-- those horrendous jeans he wears should be burned on a stake at City Hall-- and all the people will cheer! Woot!
Didn't find his exams that easy ... along with many other ppl in the class. He does know what he's talking about & he does make an effort to make things interesting.
he's fun to listen to, but only covers about 10% of the material that appears on his tests. very tricky! but really engaging activities during lecture
Ward is a great prof, but his exams are very tricky. I don't think he makes up the exams. His TA makes the tests and exams, which turn out to be brutal. He's cute too, but don't expect a really good looking guy it's just his personality that makes him cute! Over all hard markerer....
For the oddest reason, even though he lectures for about 3 hrs, he does NOT cover a lot of material. I don't know how he does it! Anyway, avoid this class like the plague. He's a nice guy and all, but in university, you need 1) marks and 2)worthwhile information on the subject-- and you will NOT get those two things in his class!
I think because his lectures are interesting & user-friendly, his tests seem hard in comparison...you can't just know the stuff you've absorbed from class/light reading. You have to really study the text. I didn't work that hard, just learned all the "key" info about the big concepts, & got an A. He knows his****...and wants you to too.
Ward is an excellent professor- I wish there were more like him. He makes every lecture interesting (the videos are fantastic) and his enthusiasm is contagious. This class is amazing- you will learn a lot and want to keep learning about social psych.
HARD EXAMS! HE SEEMS LIKE A FUN..NICE GUY HIS EXAMS WIL GET YOU BAD. DONT TAKE THIS CLASS BECAUSE MARKS MATTER IN UNIVERSITY DONT BE FOOLED BY HIS "NICENESS" HE IS REALLY TRICKY AND MEAN FOR MAKING THOSE EXAMS :-( dont take this class please save yourself and your GPA
Yeah, he's super hot. Made it easy to attend lectures in the morning hahaha. Class is an easy A as well, as long as you study in advance/read everything in the text.
He may be good looking but he is an a**. Really not helpful and very rude.
common guys, this is university, don't blame the prof for your lack of effort, his exams are Not the hardest, they are Tricky, but Fair...you're lucky to have such an enthusiastic prof..hope he keeps it up! I'd take his classes anytime....
easy exams if you know the material, easy to do well, interesting classes, classes almost completely covered in textbook so not necessary
Professor Ward is very good at teaching. he keeps you awake and wanting to learn. Lectures are enjoyable and he has a very good way of projecting his voice, which i think is key to sitting through a 3 hour lecture. If you attend lectures, and read your text, you'll get an easy A.
a good, clear prof. keeps things interesting. ;)
He seems like a really nice, down to earth guy. The tests are ok, just read the material (its a little dense and repetative)
Very good professor. Has a lot to say and is very good at explaining it clearly. Lectures are interesting as long as you don't get one very early in the morning (i.e. 8:30). His tests are somewhat tough, so study a little extra hard for them and you'll do great.
His exams are really tricky. Read the text and attend his lectures because most of the exam questions are based on his lectures. Overall, the prof is pretty down to earth and seems to really love teaching.
Great Prof! He posts the powerpoints a little before hand which helps out a lot; however, you still need to go to the lectures. He is great as long as you keep up with the readings and go to class you'll be fine.
He's a wonderful professor! I was pretty nervous about taking his class (based on these reviews) but it turned out to be an exciting and easy class! His exams are straightforward. Pay attention to the SMALL details in the textbook. He loves them. Very helpful, and a real hottie =)
he is amazing, so funny and interesting. his exams are pretty easy, hes very helpful and clear. loved his class!! i recommend him for any class
I had him for Social Psych & it was the best class I've taken @ York so far. He works hard at engaging the class, & makes things very interesting. Sometimes we did activities where the class was required to participate. The material is interesting & so was the textbook. Take this class if you're debating, I got a B+ overall & I'm not the smartest!
I would describe this course as FAIR! I think everything on the tests are straight from the text book. it helps if you go to class and take notes because that way you'd know what to focus on from the text book. tests are fair.
This prof is SO cute and AMAZING! He gives concrete examples and makes lectures interesting. He talks slow so that u have enough time to write down definitions or theories. The exams r very easy if you study the textbook and his lectures. His lectures aren't filled with too much content which is good. Overall, this prof is the best!
Great prof. Truly. He doesn't cover much test material in the lectures but his lectures are interesting. Only prof I took a 8 30 AM class for. He answers questions, isn't boring, picks a good textbook, VERY FAIR tests. Easy to get an A with the proper studying. Truly good.
Easy class if you study that is. Make sure you read every bit of the textbook since most of the questions on tests are from the textbook! Overall, good prof but can be boring at times.
He's really funny and cute! Also approachable. His tests are all MC, NOT easy but not hard either if you study well. Really interesting lectures, my attention usually moves to something else but I listened to him lol :)
You missed the point!!! He did that so we can see how our perceptions can be accurate with little information. Not to talk about himself. Wonder what you will get in this class....
Amazing Professor! Content in his lectures don't always go in the same order as in the book, but it's not a big deal. All tests are MCs, I'd say about 80% of which are from textbooks, and only a few from the lectures. Easy tests if you study the book and take notes in class. He also gives BONUS credit for participating in studies.
this prof is number vun, he knows his stuff, he knows how to teach you the material so its not boring, makes you think. very helpful, the lectures come in handy when studying for the last test, 3 tests which are fair if you study you will earn the A, textbook is also good not too much material/chapter i would say vs. personality psych
Amazing prof! Funny, interesting and extremely worth 3 hours of lecture a week. Study the book and know the lecture notes by heart and you'll do great! take this course!!!
Great professor. He knows his stuff and can also teach! Very interesting lectures, however, very little of the lecture makes it to the exams, which are based on the textbook.
Best prof ever. Very helpful, very approachable. Keeps lecture interesting. need to attend lectures and study textbook in detail. Fair tests
one of my favourite profs. lecture feels more like a class discussion to get students thinking about the material. you need to know the text and lecture notes for each test (all multi choice), but tests are fair. plus you get bonus marks for study participation.
Lectures with a nice flow and asks questions, sometimes too many. Good sense of humor. Clearly explains main topics.
Don't be fooled by his charming good looks. This professor is hard and gives very tricky exams. He thinks that since he has 40 years of psychology experience everyone should find his test questions easy. the answers are worded in a way to confuse you. lectures don't teach you anything. I got an A in psych 1010 but a C+ in this course. be warned
Pretty nice professor overall. He makes the class interesting with simple slides but talks more then just reading. Study hard for his exams though, pretty tricky questions!
Awesome prof! Make sure to do the readings + attend the lectures and you'll do fine! Pretty fair overall, super adorable and you can tell he loves teaching.
his in class exams were almost fair . BUT HIS FINAL EXAM WAS EXTREMELY HARD. he used so many NOTs and EXCEPTs in the Final test that made everyone confused . also the class average was sooooo LOWWWWW !
Course content quite interesting. Textbook good although a little redundant in certain sections. Lectures VERY engaging and well organized. Felt the exams tested my ability to decode the questions rather than my knowledge of the content. Ended with a high A. May consider taking another class with this prof.
Although my class was 8:30 am, but I never missed a class! He is amazing, if you want to get A/A+ read the text book very carefully and memorize every-thing! =]
I thought that course was pretty well balanced. He was able to make interesting and engaging yet challenging at the same time. It involves the same amount of studying like any other psychology textbook based course. Attendance is mandatory. Be aware that the last exam is cumulative and he made it way harder than it was supposed to be
Amazing lectures, u'll love them! 3 tests: final is more difficult than the first two tests, but pretty fair overall. Study the notes as well as the text for the final. There were 3 movies shown during the semester. Prof. Struthers, if you're reading this, pls change ur movie selection, TED talks would be great:) Other than that great course!!
I really enjoyed going to the lectures even though they were at 8:30am. He didn't just read the powerpoint slides, but really encouraged class participation. Some days we got out a bit early which was also nice. The final exam was difficult, but not horrible. Got a B+ by mainly memorizing the textbook & paying attention during lectures.
He makes 8:30AM classes enjoyable and tries to keep the material interestingrelatable. He's very enthusiastic about teaching and seems to want students to do well. Go to class and read the textbook VERY carefully and you will do well! Exams are 80% questions directly from textbook. He also gives bonus marks for participating in research studies.
Just take this course. The best professor ever. Very clear and very approachable. Interesting subject matter. Overall, the class has a very good vibe.
I'm an A+ student and struggled for a B in this course. He's very nice and interesting but his tests and exams are wayy too tough. I found the material very interesting and read the textbook front to back, and still really struggled for 70s on each test.
He tries to engage class discussion. He's helpful. His tests are fair and pretty easy. You have to show up to each class because the lectures take up 10% of the final and a good chunk of each of the two tests. The readings are fairly long so be prepared to read. It's an easy A/B+ if you do the readings and show up to each lecture.
He tries to make lectures as interesting as possible and can be be quite funny. The tests can be tricky but pay attention to the examples in the textbook and you should be good.
I recommend this course for those who want a logical path toward getting an A. You need to read the textbook, attend the lectures and take notes. If you do these two things well, then you will get an A. He is not there to trick you.
I had to drop out because it was based off from textbook and the textbook is so thick! It was a lot of reading. If you like learning off the textbook then take the course. But you have to study the textbook inside and out!!! No joke.
Lectures are absolutely useless and are only vaguely related to textbook material. Exams are based entirely on the textbook despite his claims that he includes lecture content. Easy A if you can manage the readings each week however it just isn't fair or effective learning to get nothing out of lecture. Just don't take this class.
Went to class twice, barely any lecture material is on the tests. 2 test worth 30%, all multiple choice. Exam is not cumulative beside a very small portion based on lecture content. Read the textbook and write the test, very simple to get a good grade. Lectures may help you understand the material easier but they're not necessary.
One of the best Profs I've had thus far. He made 8am lectures enjoyable and I learned a lot from the course. I would say that the tests are based more off the textbook, but his lectures and the examples he gives makes the content easier to remember. I would definitely recommend this course and this Prof!
Hes passionate about what he teaches, keeps his lectures entertaining and engaging. Material is super easy however I am a straight A student and struggled for 70s on each test
Class was very heavily based on the textbook which long chapters. He teaches some topics related to the textbook, but his lectures deviate. He mostly tests based on the textbook and the tests consist of very confusingly worded tb questions, so take thorough notes from the textbook. Nice guy overall and would take a course with him again
Nice guy overall, and really good lectures, but the problem is lectures are meaningless for the tests. The test were all based on the textbook. He just reiterates some concepts in class, and those topics have 2 or 3 question on his 60m/c test worth 30% of your grade. Skip class, read and you'll pass.
Amazing prof! Amazing person!
Nice professor but one of the hardest courses I've taken. 3 exams (30%,30%,40%). If you screw up one, you screwed up you're final grade.
Tests cover too much material from the textbook in my opinion. Lectures can be fun and interactive but theyre really unrelated to what is on the test. All in all good guy but heavy course overall.
There is a lot of reading to cover and tests are based off the textbooks. Lectures are interesting and interactive, but all over the place and redundant. The course is an easy A; you need to know the textbook well to do well in the course.
Hes a terrible person. Doesnt know how to teach, exams are too vague, worst professor i had ever had, dont take it with him, take it with James
hes so hard that i have to drop his class
hes not a bad guy but his lectures are a bit messy and not based on 1 chapter but like 3 in one and from random chapters too. tests are based on textbook &10% from lecture. LOTS to read. i studied 2weeks in advance for using on one chapter for two days (for 6 chapters) & i still got a 65% and im an 8GPA. idk really try hard. first test is hardest
Nice guy but his teaching style is not the best. He does not lecture on the things in the textbook that he bases his tests off of. The first test was so difficulty that the average was in the failing range! Many students, including myself, dropped the class after that horrible first test. If you can, avoid taking a class with him.
Loved taking this class with Dr. Struthers. He would make the lectures interesting and fun! Tests are ok, not too difficult. Read the text 1 or 2 times and take good notes from the text and you will get an A for sure.
The content itself was very interesting, but that will stay constant for any second year social psych class, but it's not really on him. He was not accommodating to students, made the tests unreasonably hard (a lot of multiple choice exams asking for the "best answers") and was not helpful outside of lectures at all, often ignoring emails of ?'s.
This is going to come across as me calling him a liar but why tell the class that at least 20 questions on the midterms and the final would come from the lecture when that wasn't the case? Whenever I had questions for him after class he always seemed busy and wasn't helpful by email honestly. He's a nice guy but this is my take. Not a fan.
Not gonna sugar coat it; lectures are not mandatory. Wish I noticed this sooner so I wouldn't of wasted my time. Read the textbook, ace the course. Out of the entire course, 8 questions (out of 200 total questions over 3 exams) came from lecture. Otherwise, textbook. Doesn't feel rewarding at all. Otherwise, decent lectures for useless material.
Lectures are awful. He goes off topic on everything and lectures about nothing important. Slow talker as well. Know the textbook well and you will get an A. He says there is a ton of lecture questions on exams but that is a blatant lie. Terrible professor.
This course was a flop. The material itself was so interesting. The course outline consists of 2 mid terms worth 30% each and one final exam worth 40%. THAT IS BONKERS. He uploads his own lecture slides, in which none of the info is ever on the exam. You basically have to read and memorize the textbook front to back. Worst class ever.
The worst prof I've had thus far. The course is literally 3 exams, leaving no room to show actual skill, besides memorizing. When multiple students asked him about what to study for his tests, he simply said "Know it all. It's equally as important" giving absolutely no specifications on what we should study in the textbook, which was the whole test
Strongly advise you take this course with someone else. 3 tests, 30% x2 and final worth 40%. NO guidelines to whats on the tests, he just stays "know it all". The lectures are absolutely useless. The first two tests included ZERO lecture material, the final includes ALL semesters worth of it. 500+ page readings a week. He ruined interesting content
DO NOT APPLY FOR HIS CLASS! I had a 4.0 GPA in my previous school and he made this course unnecessarily difficult. Does not give a review for any of the tests he assigns, which results in his students reading 500+ pages of the textbook and roughly 130+ pages of notes because he does not specify on what you need to study. Worst prof ever.
This prof made his students lives so hard!! although, his lectures are ok most if not all of the midterm/final questions are from the textbook, and also he does not direct you at all so you are all on your own in terms of studying! only take this class if you are up for a major challenge!
Lazy professor. He wastes students time for three hours every week lecturing about things that dont appear on his tests at all. Almost all his question are from textbook/testbank.
Professor Ward is extremely grade based and academic based. The exams are 20% lectures and 80% reading the textbook. He's so academic focused that he almost seems very unenthusiastic about what he's teaching. He's always like "grades" "study hard" "read the textbook". He doesn't seem excited to teach this course since the tests are 80% textbook.
The content itself is really interesting but this class is test heavy. The first and second midterms are 30% each and the final exam is cumulative and is worth 40%. You do get a choice to do a bonus point assignment (2%) which is pretty fun. But if you're someone who does not like to read, don't take it.
He just recorded lectures and gave us 3 exams. No other engagement with the material. I'll do fine on my mark, but don't feel like I learned anything. The recorded lectures actually cover very little of what he puts on the exams, spend your time doing the reading.
Overall, the professor is good and the material for the course is very interesting. But, if you take this class online there aren't many opportunities to engage with the professor and the students. Also, you have to rely on the textbook readings to do well in this class and there is quite a bit to read.
No assignments, just two midterms and one final exam each weighted heavily. Unfortunately, this format hardly provides a valuable learning experience. Exams are surprisingly a lot more challenging than they are initially perceived while writing them. Read the textbook thoroughly and give yourself ample time to digest the material for exams.
3 MC exams worth 30%, 30% and 40%. Questions are purposefully very deceptive and will catch you even if you've studied the textbook sections thoroughly. Didn't take away anything from this course and this is likely due to the format. I'd highly recommend taking this course with a different professor for your learning experience and your grade.
Interesting professor, very strange guidelines throughout course. Like everyone else said, I saw it was 1/3 lectures and 2/3 textbook, but on the first 2 exam I didn't see a single question from the lectures. It was all textbook.
There are only three exams (30, 30, 40) without any assignment, so if you are the kind of person who likes reading the textbook, this course is for you, although 550 pages are not that easy to get through. Lectures are exciting, but the material is irrelevant to the exam questions. Just focus on the textbook, and you will get a +A.
DO NOTTTTTTTT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! - lectures are completely irrelevant to ANYTHING you get graded on - 3 huge tests that deceive you and weighted 30,30,40 AVOID!!!! its all textbook
This professor was very kind and a great person. Although the tests are majority textbook the questions are fair and as long as you do the chapter readings you should do well. The lectures are interesting and he does many interactive activities which are fun.
He is genuinely a great prof, nice person, has interesting lectures, and all the exams are multiple choice. I would not focus too much on the lectures because everything on the exams are from the textbook. I would recommend extensively reading the textbook each week because it is a lot to read the week before the exam. His slides are pretty dry.
I really enjoyed this seminar with Dr. Ward. He was very insightful and understanding. Participation is important; not just showing up, but making good points that connect to readings. 10% Presentation about a reading in class, 20% Participation, 35% Research Proposal Presentation, 35% paper on the proposal. Ask questions, he is really helpful.
Course is split up into three tests. Tests are completly textbook base, 10% is from the lectures. The lectures don't expand on the the textbook material despite the content being relatively heavy. I did not miss exams, but his Missed Exams Policy is inaccessible. If you miss an exam, you'll have to do the one you missed and the next one together.
BUY THE TEXTBOOK. Read every single assigned chapter. His tests were mostly textbook. The first 2 tests were okayish but the final exam was HARD. The final was 80 mcqs out of which 60ish were from the textbook rest were lectures. Good luck yall. I pray that you don't end up like me 🙏🏻
