Lucas is hilarious! This was one of the easiest classes I have ever had. If you put in even the slighest effort you are guaranteed an A. You might not learn much aside from textbook definitions from this class though.

This class was a joke. Lucas focused on mostly textbook definitions and the study guides told you absolutely everything on the tests. He enjoys trying to tie personal anecdotes in with the subject. If you actually listen in class, don't waste time reading the book. This was the easiest class I've ever had.

Everyone knows that Waren Lucas spend a lot of time talking about drugs, and that lectures are almost always optional. However, I do really appreciate his clarity. His study guides are the most straightforward of any professors I've ever had. Lucas is awesome, that's why there's a facebook group dedicated to his awesomeness.

Funniest man alive! This man has been everywhere and seen everything. He has unlimited fantastic anecdotes. He leaves up slides with all the vocab you will need for the test during class as he talks about all his crazy adventures. He teaches you so much about the world and how people work. Easy A if you copy his slides.

I enjoyed his class but had difficulties listening to what he had to say after awhile. Some of his lectures did appear on the exams but he's not so bad, as long as he doesn't keep mentioning drugs. He has the easiest study guides I've ever seen, make sure to study them, othewise you'll fail.

His class is SO easy. If you do not get an A its because you dont go to class. He can go on long tangents which can be boring, but usually interesting. He gives at least 10 test answers in the class right before the test so don't miss that class. Going to the lectures is almost a gauranteed A

Lucas! I love this guy. Take SOC101 with him, and you'll have a great time. If you go to class you'll surely get an A, and even if you miss a few, just read the book and you'll be fine. Tests are really easy, and he does review for them the class period before. He pretty much gives you the answers. He curses A LOT.

Easiest class ever. Never went and pulled off an A on all tests. But.... I couldn't stand to listen to his biased/garbage lectures when he actually discussed the material. I'm not a fan of professors that have a political agenda and would never want to take any sociology class again because of this one. What a joke of a degree this must be?

Big fan of the class and Lucas. He's the most interesting professor I've had. Funny, off the wall, LOTS of stories. If you're into non-traditional he's the way to go. As long as you read the chapters and notes you'll pass just fine. I missed the final date and he graciously took time to let me retake the test. Highly recommend.

Best class ever! I really wish I went to this class more (just to hear Lucas speak). I didn't buy the book and never really studied, everything was pretty obvious (skipped the final because I had an A). Just skim the study guides he gives and you'll be golden. I really wish this guy was in the engineering dept. We could use someone like him.

This guy is a hoot! He talks about whatever he wants to and really has no verbal filter. His lectures are interresting and his tests come straight from his study guides. The day before test day he gives away a lot of the test answers, so attend that class for sure. You also get extra credit at the end of the semester for going to class!

He knows what he is talking about (most of the time) and he has the funniest stories. The only intimidating part of this class is that your grade depends solely on the three exams, attendance, and final exam. As long as you take the notes from the in-class lecture, then you'll do great on the exams.

For a two and a half hour class, he manages to keep it interesting, even if it's not always on topic. He was an awesome prof.

Very interesting guy, always spoke what was on his mind. He made class enjoyable. As long as you take down the notes he presents in class and use the study guides, the tests are a breeze. He also drops your lowest exam, or if you do well enough, you don't have to take the final.

Warren is hilarious. He's been nearly everywhere in the world, so for most of his lectures he has a connection to a real life experience which is really helpful for understanding the material. Take notes; his lectures are word-for-word what you'll see on the exams. He's a very laid-back guy, but the kind of professor you'll want to work hard for.

His class is quite easy. As long as you go to class and take notes you will be fine. His notes are very straightforward and everything you will need for the tests is in the notes. He is so funny during class and is there to answer any questions you might have.

This teacher is a HIGHLY recommended teacher because he tells relevant stories to go along with the lecture topics. In this class you have a lot of time to take quizzes and tests and they are really easy as long as you take notes and read the chapter summaries.

I absolutely loved Prof. Lucas. He is by far my fav. I took this class as a blow off class and turned out really loving sociology. He does talk a lot about his personal life but somehow he always seems to bring it back to what he was talking about in the lecture. His test are very easy as long as you show up to class. He does NOT give extra credit.
